Her eyes locked with the stars up high, twelve o'clock but she doesn't care. She loves stars, tiny little 5 edges flowers sticking to the black sky at night, shining bright and will never be pulled down.

Stars might be the smallest thing on the sky but stars are the strongest warrior among the Gods. They are loyal! They are strong! They are bright! They are beautiful! And they are legend! but well, at least that was her brother had taught her. And her brother is pretty much "dead" inside people's eyes, so she doesn't really think what her brother has taught was needed anymore. However, she still loves her brother no matter what; after all, he is the only sky that she could shine bright on.

"I miss him," a sigh. To be honest, she hate when she has to go outside by herself, it always gives her back those memories that she doesn't want to remember. She hates it when she had to remember those times with her brother. She hates it when that day came back to her mind. She hates them all! She doesn't want to be weak! She wants to be strong to bring Aren back! But when those memories comes to her, she feels like knives stabbed her heart and tore it out, she feels weak. Ara cries. "What am I even doing?!"

Child, you are doing it again. Where is your hope? You shouldn't be broken down like this.

"I- I... Why am I even hoping?! I know for sure that I can't bring him back, but why am I still hoping?!" Tears just keep flowing and she just keeps blaming herself. Ara knows for sure, she can't bring her brother back, no matter what she has done. But why? Why is she still hoping?

Ara, weren't you the one who said you missing him? Isn't he the only sky that you could shine bright on?!

Yes, she did say that. That is the reason why she is still hoping. But her brother just... he broke the promise, the promise that was made by him, himself. So why? Just why? "I can't take this anymore. Am I that terrible?! Am I that broken?!"

Ara, calm down. You are pushing yourself! And don't make me have to come out there again.

Apparently, this is not the first time Ara acted like this, more like every night. And Eun, she has to step outside, make the girl sleep and caress her a little bit before bring Ara to her room. You could say Eun is Ara's second mother.

Right now on the hall way of the Hamel main castle, there is grumpy Grammy mumbling a bunch of stuffs, because he, basically, can't sleep. "Tch, I don't even think tonight is a night to sleep."

Walking pass the balcony the second time, trying to find something to knock him up, Add noticed a view that looks really beautiful, in fact, gorgeous. Under the moonlight, the picture of what people always called a maternal love was become real.

There sit a lady, with long white hair that reached down the waist, two pointed ears reaching out to the sky. Nine fluffy tails peacefully lying on the ground, sometimes moving a little bit because of wind that blows pass by. She seems to wear a red kimono with cherry blossom flower pattern, it fits her real good, plus there is also a flower on her hair. On her lap, Ara is peacefully sleeping like a child. Her face was innocent, yet beautiful like a goddess.

"Please keep shining,
my dear child.
You are the star,
I am the sky...
You're not the moon,
but don't be jealous,
you are not sun,
Stop pushing yourself..."

The lady in front of him started to sing. She sings the song that sound so familiar. She sings the song that he sure he wants to listen. The voice was soft and smooth; the voice was beautiful and strong. This voice is so much like her. This voice is so much like his mother. But who is that lady over there, her voice sounds so like his mother, yet her appearance was really different. She is not even a human.

"... You're the star,
I'm the sky.
You will shine bright,
when it is time.
Keep shining,
Shine on my sky.
You soon will see the truth behind."

The song ended and Add is totally enchanted by it. He doesn't even realize that he had stepped out of the balcony and being noticed by the "Guardian*" in front of him.

"Add I can't find a reason to see you here." She spoke up, snapped Add out of his wonderland.

"There is only one reason to see me out here." Add, back to the real world, being back to his rudeness and blunt again.

"Don't really see you as a stargazer. And I'm in my real form if you wonder."

"I might be a lunatic but I am not blind Eun. So may I sit here?" Didn't even need a reply, Add just walked up and sit next to the sleeping Sakra Devanam.

"Since you are here Add, I may excuse myself and go back into Ara." And to pay back, Eun just poof and disappear without any words back from the Pskyer.

"Ouch." Because of the sudden disappearance of the "pillow", Ara hit her head to the cold brick and accidentally kicked Add in the back, earning a growl from the scientist who almost fell down the balcony. "Watch it, chibi!"

"Huh? Oh sorry Ad– Uwahhh!!!" Ara rolled over and hit her face flat to the floor. "Owie."

Add rolled his eyes, he can't believe this is the Goddess that he saw from 5 minutes ago, more like a clumsy new-born fox that couldn't even stand. Add got down from the balcony and decided to help Ara up before she hit herself into anything again.

He held out his hand in front of Ara, who is rubbing her red forehead because of the impact, without saying anything. She saw his hand, and then she looked up and met his eyes. She smiled and grabbed it. And after Add pulled her up, before another second could even pass, she hugs him tight and start to cry, again.

Not even a word just started to cry.

Add was surprised, he has seen a girl cried before, but this is the first time, he has ever seen a girl changed her emotions in less than a second. She was just smiling like a goddess before grabbing his hand, and when he pulled her up, she pushed him down and started to cry. Have girls always been like this?

"Does he hate me that much?! Am I a bad sister to him?! What have I done to make him like that?! Tell me Add!! Tell me!!" Ara just let everything out. Crying and hitting hard on Add's chest. About Add, even though he is crazy, at least he has a gentleman mind, or he just doesn't know what to do in the situation. So he just lay there, let Ara hits and says everything she want. Sometimes, he decided to be better a little bit, hugging and kissing her like a child.

"I'm totally sorry Add, I should've made sure that she is completely calm down before handing her to you." Eun came out again. Now she is wearing a white kimono and drinking something looks like wine.

"Yeah, yeah, yeah..." Add scratched his head and heaved a sigh, what a tired time for him. After letting everything out, Ara had calmed down a fell asleep on Add's chest, because it was the closest "pillow" she could find. Decided to be a gentleman again, he picked the girl up and brought her back to her room. That was when Eun appeared, and told him the entire thing about the past.

"..."

"She is my little star, and I'm her guardian. In order to keep the star shining, I need to find her a trustable sky." Eun took a gulp then waving her tails, acting like a real animal and waiting for the other to react. Her words has always has its motive, and she likes to see the other person struggling to find it.

"Ok fine, I'll do it. Stop touching me with you fluffy tails, goddamnit." Or just basically force them to get the idea.

"Ho? So you just do it because I forced you to?"

"Basically, yes, to get you're freaking tails away from my face. But actually no, I do like her so I take this as an advantage." Add flick off the tail on his shoulder, then kick off one around leg, and grab one that is on his face. "However, if you don't want me to, ok I'm totally fine with that. She is going to be mine sooner or later anyway."

"Then, I'll just assume that you agreed to protect my little lovely star." Eun suddenly disappeared, and then Ara woke up. Not actually Ara but Ara in Eun mode. White pointed ears, nine tails, red eyes and red streaks.

"What.Are.You.Do– Mhmp." Add got cut by the fox spirit as she reached out and pulled him down on the bed to kiss him with Ara's lips.

"Good luck with what happen next." And the spirit just smirked then went back inside Ara body. Now, I'm just going to sit here and watch the show.

Add didn't even have time to panic because the girl just woke up and stare at him, eyes widened and her cheeks flushed red. "Ad-Add?"

W-W-what I-is he d-doing?!

I'm going to pay back foxy. Goddamn it!

First chapter here after almost a year._. So at first, this chapter was like 3k words but then I decided to cut the other half because it was full of RenaxRaven moments orz which shouldn't be here because this is an AddxAra fanfic. But unfortunately, that part somehow important to the freaking story so I moved it to the second which is ready to be published also. Oh my lord, what am I even doing here orz.
