Specialty:
Kigahen specializes in brute force close combat. Slashing at his opponents with his axe rebuilt from scrapped Nasod parts; or kicking and tearing away at the enemy with the Nasod limbs he built himself. Kigahen won't stop at anything to win a battle, especially if he's enraged.

When in Awakening Mode, Kigahen's physical attack is doubled, however, the defense is halved. Due to being both reckless and usually irritated, he releases pent up rage inside of him, causing combos and skills to be much more effective than usual.

Backstory:
Kigahen was an very young orphan, who roamed the streets for as long as he could remember, barely surviving. Kigahen could only remember his age, birthday and first name. One harsh winter, the silhouette of a Nasod appeared before the freezing child. The Nasod offered shelter and a home until Kigahen was old enough to work for the race. Kigahen agreed with the Nasod.

Years passed and Kigahen grew up in an environment with little human contact, causing him to become cold and emotionless, as the Nasods who raised him didn't have much emotions themselves. Kigahen became a blacksmith, working away with the fire and metals; which he seemed to have a natural talent for.

Kigahen designed and built the Nasod arm for Raven. Unfortunately, even he didn't know the full extent of his invention; as Raven managed to break the Nasod capsule he was in  and cause havoc in the building. Kigahen was in the same building as Raven when it had happened. He tried to run from the flaming rafters as they fell, but ended up tripping as a rafter fell, landing on his leg and damaging it beyond use. Another beam had begun to fall, which Kigahen barely dodged, having it crush his hand.

Kigahen later was forced to have his leg and hand amputated, and was replaced by poorly made Nasod limbs, to which he had fix himself. After the incident, Kigahen has had a burning rage for Raven, seeking to destroy him at any cost. The two trained together by force, often attempting on fighting to the death. In training, Kigahen always came up as second best, and therefore was chosen to be the co-commander of the Velder Rebellion lead by Raven. The two often argued, which led Kigahen to an unsuspecting village one night.

Kigahen, blinded by hatred began to slaughter the villagers as a way to calm himself down. The news reached the Black Crow, and therefore Raven. Raven managed to put an end to the massacre by stopping Kigahen's blade from killing another being. Kigahen "wakes up" from his anger, and is faced with the harsh reality and horror of what he has done by being blinded by anger. Kigahen was taken to the airship and locked and chained up in a cell.

Kigahen was often visited by the humans he knew growing up. He was a subject of his own experiments, and mocked for it by his colleagues, being called things such as "weak minded." His calmness didn't last much longer, and he broke free of his chains, filled with anger to kill those damned so-called scientists. He threw one off the airship, and the other got his brains crushed out.

As Kigahen was coming back from launching someone off the ship, he heard the sounds of fighting, and went to investigate. Before he could make it there, however, he was confronted by Satoru, who was doing a sweep of the ship. Kigahen did not want another fight to happen, he's killed so many lives already, but Satoru provoked him, and provoked him, until the calmness broke. The two fought, with Kigahen coming out as the winner. He walked towards were the sounds were, and seen Raven lying on the group, defeated by Elsword, Rena and Aisha.

Kigahen began to walk away, but was blocked by the injured Satoru, insisting that he could not pass. When Kiga turned around again, he saw Raven get up, despite bleeding heavily, and talk with the redhead known as Elsword, the two shook hands. Kigahen started to walk away , opposite from Satoru and the rest, afterall, he should get back to work as soon as possible. Hearing shouts behind him, he turned around and the redhead held out his hand.

"I'm Elsword!" He greeted, smiling. Kigahen stared at his outstretched hand, not knowing what to do. Raven came up behind him, a smiling a smile filled with remorse and regret. Kigahen looked at the condition of the ex-knights arm, noticing part of the core was broken. He looked back at Raven, who in turn spoke.

"We were both blinded by something, and it made us go mad. It was revenge, Kigahen. I wanted to get revenge for my fiancee's death, and you wanted to get revenge on me for crippling you. I understand your pain entirely. Perhaps we can become friends. I have already agreed to join Elsword in a quest for the missing El, in order to redeem myself and the terrible things I have done. You are welcome to join."

"I can't, not after what I've done. I'll probably kill you all if I was mad enough." he looked away, frowning. "Thanks for the offer."

"You and I were not ourselves when we were overtaken by the core you invented. I cannot forget what you did to the people, but I can forgive."

Kigahen let out a sigh. "I'll join you." He smiled a little. "Maybe we can redeem ourselves together for the pain we've caused."

Trivia:
• In the first concept sketches, Kigahen was originally supposed to be female
• Elsword was originally the first one to call Kigahen, "Kiga", which was soon caught on by the rest of the El Search party members
• It is believed that Kigahen has the white strip of hair due to being around Nasods all his life, the technology filled landscape caused a mutation to occur. It is very similar to how Raven's Over Taker/Reckless Fist classes have white hair, as it occurred by the radiation his arm was expelling.
