Add! I'm sorry you had to witness me break into pieces. But why is everything so dark and, and empty?

"Because I could only do so much in the moment, I place your body in a temporal statis and I managed to transfer most of your data over to my computer. I'm glad to have saved what I could. Also for now I only managed to set up a system so we can communicate, albeit we only see text on our end. But I'll be working on better things to make you feel better. I'll save you my empress."

"Are you ready Eve! It's been a while but I think I finally got it working, I even brought everyone here if so you can talk to them.

What are you up Add? I don't have much of a choice anyway but it'll be nice to talk to the rest of the El gang.

Add finished typing up a couple lines of code on the computer and hooking up a couple wires to the computer. After a couple moments a small screen appeared on the computer where all of the El gang could be seen.

Add! Raven! Rena! Elsword! Everyone! I can see you all now! Where's Elesis though?

"HIYA EVE! We've missed you and she's laying on the couch, I'll go get here. SIS, COME SAY HI TO EVE!"
"Stop being so loud Elsword! I'm getting up from the couch now."
"How has everyone been, I don't even know how long since I last saw you."
"It's been about three or four months now, Add didn't tell us anything until recently and we were starting to get concerned." Aisha moved closer to Elsword, looking for some comfort against him.

Oh, sorry to have worried all of you. Where's Moby, Remy and my servants?

"Moby and Remy are ok but Oberon was badly damage so Add took-"
"I had to take apart Oberon for parts and same goes for Ophelia since I was missing some parts from Oberon. At least Oberon is serving as a way for you to see us. Good news is they'll let me do a lot more like a voice system, let you control Remy or Moby and we can see what else! Oh yeah sorry for interrupting you Raven."

Ok at least they won't be collecting dust. Can I see Moby and Remy. Oh hi Elesis how are you? Moby, Remy! Thank you for bringing them Elesis.

"No problem Eve. Sorry if I don't seem ecstatic to see you, just recently woke up from a coma while feeling different, at least Ariel gave me these new clothes." Elesis new hair was a bit mangled, flowing down to her knees, her new clothes still remained revealing however a red Crest was on her chest.

It's a really interesting look Elesis. That reminds me, Add why do you look so different as if you went through puberty again?

"While I was gone I ended up in some kind of dimension and long story short I gained new powers while escaping it and seems like my physical being is bounded to the very fabric of space and time. It makes me immortal in a sense." A couple of the El members were heard trying to suppress their laughter after hearing Eve's comments.

Why are they laughing?

"Show her Add! I'm sure she'll think it's cute. Least you're still all powerful."
"Ara I didn't want to show her yet but fine I will." Add turned from his tall and adult self with long flowing hair to his eight year old self, dressed in a purple cat hoodie and short hair.

Oh my god Add you look adorable! You went through the opposite of puberty! You can call me mom in this form. This is amazing, isn't he an adorable child?

"And you can call me daddy in this form." Add returned to his other form.
"Add! What's gotten into you?"
"Sorry, it just slipped out. Now if you don't mind I prefer this form since it is taller although it does take some work."
"If yall don't mind, I'm going back to sleep on the couch. See you Eve" Elesis left to sleep on the couch.

"Eve, I think I've done it now! Let me just- turn on the camera, there! Is the camera working?"

What are you trying to do Add? But yes I can see your small adorable self~

"Why did I let you use special characters. Anyhow try looking around, it should work as if you tried moving your head."

After a moment, the camera started to pan around slowly. As Eve looked around Add's lab, a sight she has missed but started to notice the mess that Add had been living in, dirty plates, crushed up papers all over the floor.

Add have you been living like this all this time. I'm sorry that you need to suffer through all this but please try to focus on yourself also. There'll be no point in your trying so hard if you keep falling apart.

"Its just hard to clean all of this up, I rather focus on research to save you. At least the others helped me clean up a bit."

Where are the others? I haven't seen them recently, did they return to their quest?

"Yeah not too long ago the priestesses finished the prophecy, they're probably in another dimension fighting who knows what. I'm sure they can manage on their own now. So I guess its just me and you now..."

Add, he's so cute when he's sleeping especially with that child like form. I just wish he wouldn't over work himself so much. Although I wonder what new device he's making... how long will things be like this? How long until both of us can be free? I've missed the moment of battle, Add does too even though he doesn't admit it. Really hard to deny it when it's almost been a year since the battle in lanox happened.

Add started to rustle a bit, waking up from the table that he fell asleep on. After waking up he grabbed the speaker like device and some of the tools that laid on the table and got to work. After a while he got up and walked over to Eve.

"I think its finally finished Eve! If everything goes as planned then this speaker should let you talk normally." Add opened the computer's core and started to connect wires to it, using electrical tape to hold it together. "Everything should be working together, just try talking normally and it should convert it into your regular speech."
"D-does it work? Oh my gosh how did you do it Add? How were you able to replicate my old voice so I can use it?"
"I had some sound files saved from before such as from videos we took. I then processed some basic sounds together that when combined can create words. Wanna listen to some sound files I made to test out the software?"
"That's really cool and sure, I wanna see what you did."
"Dynamos, please play sound files Eve three, six, seven"

"It's been hard not having you around. These sound files helps ease the pain a little and the last one helps me sleep a little." A somber look appeared on Add's face as he tried looking away.
"Oh Add, this really is not easy. I wish you were not cursed by such a saddening life but now I can talk again, maybe I can even read you a story so you can fall asleep easier."
"I would love that, can we just stay here and talk for a little? I've missed your voice."
"Of course my love. You being happy makes me happy..."

Add keeps leaving in and out. Often times being gone for what seems like days. I worry for him, wondering if he's getting enough to eat and sleep. I always wonder what he does with the nasod parts he brings, guess he goes out to Altera for parts. Would my body even accept the replacement parts? Yet all this working has made you so distant from the world. Your body might be here but your mind is scattered like the stars in the night sky, forgetting to tell me goodnight before fatigue consumes you. Please I wish you would give up, let the last of the nasod parish. Free yourself from this curse, all I do is watch you work day and night, almost never sleeping in your bed. I lost my body but now I'm losing you...

"Good afternoon my dearest, how are you today?"
"Same as always. What did you do today since you're so happy."
"I finally figured out a way to give you a virtual body that we can both explore"
"Both explore, as in you can enter this world?"
"Thanks to this headset I've made then I can put myself into the world in a way. Let me just download the file for it into the computer and I'll set this up."

As the file downloaded, Add cleared the surrounding space of all objects that he could bump into while the goggles sat on the computer. Within Eve's world, what was once only darkness started to transform as Eve witnessed her old body take shape; below her feet the ground started to appeared. Eve now had a world of her own to explore. Once everything had finished, Add put on the goggles and entered the virtual world.

"Eve-- I've missed you" Add stood there for a moment just looking at his queen whom he has missed for the last couple of years.
"You did it Add, and- it's all so beautiful but empty."
"We can fix that, it's still a work in progress but if you do this" Add made a rectangle with his fingers and pulled them apart with a screen showing in between. "Then we can build whatever we want like a castle."
"That means I can be an empress with my own castle!"
"Shall we begin my love?"
"We shall indeed."

"Good afternoon Eve! It's been so long since we've seen each other. The rest of the elgang has also missed you and Add."
"It really has Chung and everyone here looks so much older and mature, almost weird to see you guys in casual clothes."
"Yeah it has been about fifteen years, can't believe we're thirty, even Elsword and Aisha had a daughter."
"Fifteen years!? Add said its only been a couple of years. Is their daughter here at least, would be nice to meet her."
"Yeah, come here honey, this is Eve that we've told you about." Aisha called someone off screen, shortly after a six year old girl with long but messy purple hair, holding a cardboard sword. "She always liked fighting more than magic."
"She's so cute! Add, isn't she a cutiepie, wish I could pinch those puffy cheeks of her."
"I suppose she is, too time consuming for me to take care of a child, my machines are enough."
"Evengelinx, we thought we should name her in honor of you." Aisha started to hold Elsword harder, as if to comfort herself.
"Evengelinx, can you go with grandma Rena please. Rena, Raven can you two play with her for a little bit?"

After Rena and Raven took Evengelinx away, a somber atmosphere filled the air with a deathly silence, Eve needed a moment to understand that fifteen years has passed since the incident, fifteen years that Add has not been able to save her and fifteen years she will never get back. She started to understand why Add's mental state began to deteriorate, spending so much time trying to save her that he started to give up but looking for other solutions to make her happy. After a moment of the deathly silence, Add interrupts it.

"Turns out that your core is much more complex than I had anticipated, same goes for your code which is why the computer you're in can barely store all of your information, I may have stored the code regarding motor function somewhere else. using parts from other nasods would just overload because of their inferiority."
"Thank you Add for everything, this isn't easy for any of us but I appreciate everything you've done for me including the world you created so I can have some fun."
Add started to break out in tears. "I love you a lot my Empress and I always will, there's still so much we can do to help you, I promise that I'll never give up on you ever."

"Good morning my queen, today is a bit special since Lu, and Rena will come visit us today!"
"That'll be nice, how long has it been since they all visited us?"
Eve was no longer bounded to just the computer, eventually a system to allow for holographic projection was installed in the house which let her walk around freely
"A century or two, I've lost count...but I miss the rest of the Elgang"
"Me too, I hope Elesis finally found peace and is with her fellow soldiers now."
"Yeah, remember that time that Raven cooked some really good hamburgers? Could go for some right now." The room was silent for a little before Add decided to clean around. There was a knocking on the door.
"Hey welcome Rena and Lu! Was just cleaning up before you two got here."
"Thank you, it has been soon long since I've left the demon realm, so much new technologies and pretty buildings."
"A lot of it is thanks to my useless invention, some people managed to find a use for them at least. What about you Rena, whatcha been up to in the last century or two?"
"I became the guardian elf of the forest, connecting the bond between us elves and the dark elves. Tiring work but our people have been so happy since."
"Just a reminder, how many centuries has it been?" Add shift back into small child form and laid his head next to hologram Eve legs where she was sitting on the couch.
"Three and a half I think, how much the world has changed."
"Tch, and still in this curse cycle of life, after the incident I became immortal. What a hell it'll be to outlive the universe."
"You're always welcome within the demon realm Add, I'll even give you a seat next to Ciel."
"What, Ciel still alive!?" Eve was surprised thinking only the four remained.
"His soul is mine after all heh, but he must stay in the demon realm or I fear he might perish, one day it'll be the same for me."
"I'd rather avoid the demon realm since nothing peaks my interest there, but thanks for offer regardless and send Ciel my regards."
"Will do but how much this world has risen and fallen over the centuries with this place being the only constant, always was hard for me to let go myself."
"Given this place aid was necessary to give Eve the freedom she deserves. Not my fault if the technology was too much for them." A smug grin spread across the living paradox, a reminder that he took pleasure in destroying worlds.
"Hey Add do you have a room I can stay in? Its getting a bit late and my old joints want to rest a little."
Lu suddenly bursted out laughing at seeing Rena rub her hips. "At least one of us stayed young and beautiful forever- you don't count Add, you took some crazy potion of yours."
Eve just watched and remembered the old times the best she could, as Rena started to get ready for bed and for them to wait another century worth of changes in the world.

"I'm ready Eve for our date around the city! Got some places in mind and the entire day to waste" Add was bouncing around the house with a whistling tone being excited like a kid going to the candy store.
Eve gave a small laugh. "You're so cute sometimes, wish I could give you a kiss."
Add froze in his tracks and started blushing before hiding his face in the hoodie, "No you are!"
"I love you too Add, ready to go?"
"I have all the time in the universe for you my queen"
"You and your jokes but lucky for you, I also have all the time in the universe for you"

The two walked through the city as towers scatter all throughout allowing Eve to exist outside of the building she had been in for centuries. Civilization had advanced significantly with tech encasing all parts of life but nasod research was never able to progress far enough to produce true results to save Eve. Not like it mattered with everything from the past long gone.

While walking they came across a statue of a space rift and all sorts of weapons around it with a plague that reads "In recognition of Add for his valuable technological knowledge. And in remembrance for all his friends" the two stopped infront of it, thanking and asking the goddess to care for their friends in the afterlife. It seemed like for a brief moment, each weapon glowed as if their friends sent a message "We're ok". The two looked at one another and smile before continuing on with their date.
They traveled as far as they could, sitting by the water side, under cherry blossoms and taking photos together with goofy hats. The day eventually ended with stars being the main source of light once the two returned back home.

"Millennias has passed, but I got to spend all of them with you Eve. I love you so much and I will stay with you until the end of time itself. Goodnight.
"I love you too Add, goodnight and here's to many more memories."

One can try to fight the laws of physics all they wish, you can sell your soul to demons, create endless experiments but alas.... we are all stuck within the confines of the laws. The Time Traveler and his queen are merely living on borrowed time that will run out.

Add spends most of his days sleeping or in the alternate reality he created for him and his queen.
"Oh Add, why did you choose to torture yourself with immortality, a prisoner to your own creation. Your love was unwavering as you told me it would be on those broken nights a universe ago. You must envy me for being able to delete my memories while you carry moments from your birth to this day. The alternate reality you've made for me and you has felt so real that feels like you can no longer tell which world is true." Eve's endless thoughts all seem to flow in the same direction, an existential dread for time's prisoner that she deeply loves. Eve herself can cease to exist at a moments yet Add cannot until the universe ceases to exist. Spending hours just watching him sleep. It didn't matter if it was day or night anymore. Every moment became more or less the same yet within this moment there was a change with a knock on the tattered door that's barely still on its hinges.

"Oberon, open the door." A barebones machine awakens from its slumber, constructed from rudimentary pieces, moves to open the doors to reveal a dark green being who hasn't been since in forever. His physical manifestations held together by fragments. Ain- the one who chose to become the Abyssal Lord.
"Greetings, I see that Add is still asleep, I shall allow to choose to wake him or I can on your behalf."
"I-I can, give me a moment and can you just step aside for a moment since it's been so long that it's been another person besides us." Eve moved from the computer to a more physical manifestations and she softly rubbed Add's back. "My love, can you wake up now? I've missed you while you slept."
"H-huh? Hey my queen, missed you too." The still groggy Add could only help and smile seeing his queen as he always done when he wakes to her beautiful smile.
"We uhm, have a visitor today, I didn't thought we would ever have any again but I was wrong. He's sitting on the couch at the moment." The shakiness in the voice of a machine shook Add to the core. Dynamos swirling to his side and realizing his true form. He quickly moved to the living room to see who arrived.
"Apostasia- never expected to see you again yet I really shouldn't be surprised."
"Call me Herrscher, take a breath since I'm not here to fight." The being with a dark aura didn't bother to look at Add as he boiled water for tea.
"How can I not be on guard? Can you not see how scared Eve is of you? At least assure me that you will not bring harm to her." His dynamos moved from his side over to Eve, set to the protection of Eve as their greatest priority.
"I can assure you I have no intention of doing so. I'm here to, deliver a favor of mercy for the both of you it's the best way of putting it. A fight against me would only be a waste of our energy and time." With the tea in his hands, he merely sat down on the couch and began drinking the tea.
"Mercy? What mercy can the ruler of the Abyss bring?" Add leaned against the wall.
"Nothing, precisely nothing I can bring. An ending to your story." Ain brought forth his scythe, ripping a hole that gave way to a portal with the view of s familiar tree.
"Mother-" tears started to flood Add's eyes as the life goal he never truly gave up is finally infront of him.
"Everything must end."
"What about her?" Add glanced over to Eve, standing silently.
"Every minute spent with you was worth but go. It hurts me seeing you drag on to keep this tiny piece of heaven." Her voice was shakey, the thing they both secretly dreamed of can finally been given.
"I love you and I'll love you forever. Goodbye my empress." Tears streaming down his face, as he stood next to the stoic Ain. He entered the portal with it closing behind him.
Ain looked at Eve and said one last word.

                        "Goodbye"
