Soldiers, brothers in arms peppered the floor with Spears, swords and arrows through them. Demons lay near them as well but were victorious in the battle after having killed the knights, all except for one who was on the point of death while Berthe played with his almost energy less body, teasing him, laughing at him as his black and white coat was now stained with his blood when suddenly a red hair girl launched a large force of energy which stabbed Berthe, dropping the white hair boy before dying
"Don't die on me I will not let you go" Elesis quickly ran over to the tracer who was coughing while struggling to catch a breath. "Please hold on, I can't let someone die again."
"It's ok, this is my punishment for my own incompetence, I never was destine to live" Add held his side, crying from the pain, crying before he entered death
"No, too many have died because of me, if I can't save anyone then I should have died with my knights in battle" The now crimson avenger picked up the tracer who was on his way to learn the final secret of time travel from Glave and started running, while tears started to drip down her pale white face which mixed with the blood of the soon to be Esper.
"It's ok, don't cry for a patheic bastard like me, please don't cry, I'm not worth the tears" The white hair boy muster up his effort to wipe the tears from the Avenger
  "No, don't say that, I'm the pathetic one, I had to against all I believe in to survive." A fake smile appeared on her face to try and lighten the moment of pain
"Guess it's true, a dying person doesn't feel any hatred or hold grudges, least I'll see my mommy and daddy once again" A soft smile that could make the torture soul seem like everything was ok appeared.
"I will not let you just die" She tried to slow down the bleeding with her abdomen while the Dark El shadow which fed off of darkness started whispering to her
   "Just leave him dead like your knights and use his blood to empower yourself, imagine how powerful you can get with his time fueled blood... unless you want to stay weak all your life and not able to save anyone?"
"I'm sorry, I'm so sorry, we may have only met a few times in the underground Chapel but I don't know how much longer I can hold on, at least this monster will leave this world for once and for all" He removed his eyepatch revealing the black sclera on his left eye "Please promise one last thing, please keep on fighting for you must not let the demons win and also, in the short time we've had, I didn't see you as a monster" He spoke in a whisper tone as the pain made it harder to talk.
"Please don't make me promise that." Elesis muttered softly before the time tracer arm became limp, dropping the eyepatch on the floor as his eyes closed for the last time, his body becoming colder than the Avenger hands as the el lady took his soul out of his body "hello? Hello, PLEASE WAKE UP" Elesis fell on her knees and lay him on the floor before quickly shaking him when she realized that he was gone, that she had failed, that she was the last thing he knew, she broke down crying as her blood stained hands covered her face while memories of her red Knights calling for her before being slaughtered without a hint of mercy returned
"I told you that he would die, maybe if you were faster he would be alive"
  "damn it,  first my knights and now him, damn it damn it damn it" she pound the ground as tears flowed from her eyes and her cries of pain filled the sky until she could not shed anymore tears while her voice became horse as time went on until she stood up and grabbed her claymore "if he was a monster as he says, than I must be one as well, and all monsters deserve to die" she aim the claymore towards her as she extended her arms out "I'm sorry Add, I'm sorry but this is my end" She then piercing herself with the cold red blade that was in her hands

Elesis jerk up now that she was awake as she felt a hand rub against her back while she pant quickly, trying to return back to reality after the nightmare
"It's ok Elesis, it was just a dream, it's over now and now please calm down" calming words came from the man next to him, the very same man who swore he would damn the world itself
"J-just hold me ok" She leaned towards the Esper where he put his hands on her arms for comfort
"I'm scared Add, I witnessed you die in my arms, I've never had you in one of my dreams till now"
  "Oh, well it's ok, the nightmare has ended, it'll be ok, nothing will happen to me and how could it, I am the dimension ruler, kekeke"
  "Yeah, of course it was just a dream since none of us can die so easily, nothing more" she broke out into a laughter in the Esper's arms
"Ah so this is a sample of the madness you told me about, interesting, shall we get to killing things over in Sander, we need to first kill some harpies, I still have connections with those weak humans who can barely defend themselves also I need to test my prototype Nasod" The thought of being able to study the Dark El in a human as well better protect Eve caused him to grin
"I thought you wouldn't ask as I need to satisfy my lust for blood" she smiled with a sadistic grin on her face
"Glad to see you excited to kill things but let's go" they quickly grab their weapons and put on their shoes and jacket before the Esper open a portal and they stepped through it into an area windy with sand, the perfect place for Harpies to set their nest.
"The wind is so strong here, try not to make a mess with your blood please, I don't want to wash my whole suit, also I'm running out of clean cloths and I'm not comfortable with you being in my presence to you know, do my laundry also I don't wish to stain my beautiful white Nasod that I created but let's clear this quickly so we can return"
"No promises" she let out a soft but ice cold laughter as she released a large wave of energy quickly downing the harpies
"I would like it if you try not to but least data is coming out of these field test" Add's dynamos let out a soft purple glow as they were in data collect mode "how does she manifest her blood into her attacks, and how does she absorb her enemies blood, even time energy takes a little to soak into my system, how does she?" The Esper tried to keep up with Elesis who quickly cleared the enemies before he could do much
"I see you can't keep up, who seems to be the weakling now"
"No, don't you dare think that's wise to call me that" Add's sclera turned black as his movement seemed to increase at this competition that the Avenger propose to him as he ran ahead into a group of harpies before he released a strong burst of energy all around him
"Is this really the music that plays in your head, no wonder you're mentally unstable" dark energy started to grow around her sword while Add's dynamos recorded a sudden spike in temporary power
"Good, you're angering him and the angrier he gets, the more I can feed off to empower us"
"Don't dare to push me farther before I no longer care about the research"

The two kept on killing as Add gather research while walking through the corpses of many harpies in the name of self defense until the Dark Knight came down from her darkness and notice something which stopped her in her tracks
  "Can we please keep this poor little fellow" Elesis put her blade down to interact with a small creature she found
  "We don't have room or time to care for it, how do you expect the ruler of dimensions have time to care for a pet, what does it even eat like there's a reason we never made this Phoru crystal anything"
  She just gave him a look "Isn't that your thing, ruler of space and TIME so don't use that excuse"
  The master of time and space attempted to find a response to that comment but it was futile as the wind blew through the Esper hair "FINE but you're taking care of that thing, least the damn thing seems too lazy to even get out of its shell like you know it's true"
  "Of course" Elesis lay down on her side as she played with the baby harpy who imprinted on her as her mother "hehe, so cute, you're a little cutie aren't you and don't worry me and Add will take good care of you" She picked up the small harpy
  "What, no I never said that, URRRGG." Add walked over to the harpy and moved his dynamos over to it and it slowly fell back into it's egg once it fell asleep and lay the egg on his bed after opening a space crack. "It'll be asleep once we return, anyhow it's better if he doesn't see the messed we've caused."

The two keep clearing away, making progress as they leave death in their wake before they met a massive but magnificent harpy, Kelaino

  "Ah, so you're steel wing Kelaino that I've heard about, I assume you're angry and wanting to kill my guts just like all of them do"
  "Why wouldn't I, you just killed my family, my babies who were just born, what kind of monsters are you and to top it all off, you skin them to sell their feathers" she let out a cry of pain
"We didn't kill all of them, well most, they're just.... knocked out and we were only defending ourselves so we don't care for your feathers, I have no need for money anyhow also Elesis, don't kill her since we need to talk to her first"
  Kelaino then flew towards them to try and sink her sharp talons into them but then she felt a burning sensation as a ball of energy hit her after Add used reverse circle and once she was knocked down, Elesis came rushing in and threw a sawblade like attack at her that was empowered with her blood
  "Sometimes it is fun to let loose" small blade started to rotate around her sharp enough to slice enemies who get too close
  "Fine then if that's how it'll be" Kelaino flew into the center as she started to push them to opposite sides of the room while created balls of concentrated energy
"No you don't" Add ran under Kelaino and open a rift in time "stardust shower" balls of energy pound the great harpy who tried to take it but before it could finish, a large pinkish purple laser hit her and she was sent flying "What the?"
"Why don't you just finish me, I got nothing left, you've disgraced the harpy tribe"
"We're here to show you something" Add held out a small pendant which was a gift when the humans and Harpies created the peace pact
"That was long ago, pacts get broken and that is what the humans did"
"Listen, I don't know much but you should go talk to them, we would go with you but we have things to do"
"Ah yes, I suppose I will since you show me some mercy and I think it's nice you and your boyfriend have things to do"
"No, no we're not together, I became almost emotionless long ago, at times it's hard to even love my own family"
"Yeah, she's just a test subject, this was just a run for data and to find my girlfriend who taken by that evil Karis and by the way Elesis, we got good data out of this for both you and my nasod"
"pardon my misunderstanding but I hope you find your girlfriend soon and now thinking of it, it wouldn't work either, you're both clearly mentally unstable and you need at least one to be the sane one" Kelaino rose to her feet and then started to fly to Sander village to talk
"Back to Velder now?" Add opened a time gate which Elesis walked through and Add followed while looking back and wondering where the strange laser beam like attack came from.....

A/N: I hope the song added to the story, don't mind the image but Eve will be back with Add on chapter 15 or 16 the absolute latest and I hope you enjoyed the quick update yet this chapter was over 2,000 words long but like I say always, feedback is always enjoyed
