The green grass around the land was still as beautiful as ever, just like the waterfall of purity. It was the area called Elime's Wave, which was part of Hamel, so I wouldn't expect any less from this water-oriented location where the Water Priestess resided.

"Lead the way." Add ordered.

"U-Um, I'm actually not too sure about where to go first..." I quietly spoke while standing up, brushing myself off.

The albino boy facepalmed. "You're hopeless."

"S-Sorry!" I bowed apologetically, I tend to be nervous around people I've just met, especially when they have a personality like this pale-skinned boy.

"Tch. Just follow me, got it? You owe me a f@#%ing lot for doing all of this for you." he scowled.

"Y-Yes." I nodded, then started tracing after his footsteps.

Add seemed to have a short-temper, would he really be a suitable partner for me? I didn't mind his behaviour too much, though. Everybody's different, so I'll just accept him all the same!

Past the Hamel capital, we have arrived at a town where the power of water is weakening. Resiam Outskirts is crumbling into ruins! Was Brother really the mastermind of all of this destruction? I'm really worried about him.

"Kyahahahahahaha! It's finally time to defeat these imbeciles for my research!" Add gleamed with joy.

"A-Are you ready? These demons are corrupting the entire country!" I said.

"Heh. More than prepared, Ara." he smirked, hopping onto his dynamos to rush into the town filled with chaos.

I chased after him, his weapons were sure fast and mobile! If he invented them, then that proved his high level of intelligence. They seemed very convenient and innovative.

"Ara, shall we transform now?" Eun asked, her soul remained in my hairpin as always.

"Yes!"

By the time my long hair had turned white, my eyes red with fox-markings on my cheeks, and nine pure fox tails had appeared for my temporary alterations, Add was already handling and defeating the demonic creatures.

"Pathetic... Pathetic! You're so pathetic!" he shouted while attacking the enemies.

"Flying Kite!" I shouted, jumping in between the demons like an enraged bird, rapidly slashing everywhere with my spear. Bright flashes sparkled wherever I moved to. My speed made it seem like teleportation.

"Moonlight Rhapsody!" Add headed over to where I was to help out, releasing esper energy to destroy the target's mind.

Our combination attack was enough to handle the few monsters that stood in our path, but of course, there was a lot more to come. Resiam was definitely falling into ruin, but with Add's help, we'll both save Hamel together!

Add floated over beside me on his dynamos, smirking. "You're welcome, I saved you, kukuku..."

"E-Eh? I was doing fine without your help, but thank you!" I smiled.

"Yeah, whatever you say. Anyways, let's continue." he looked to the side. "Shadow Walkers, Shadow Chargers, Shadow Defenders, Shadow Snipers, they're all of an annoyance." Add muttered.

"Huh? You can tell the names of all of these demons?" I asked.

"I suppose you can say that. I have the technology to analyze. I know a lot about em'. Again, let's just hurry up and finish this off!" he laughed, then rushed off again.

"Ara, does this man seem the least bit suspicious to you? He seems to know too much about this location, or rather, Hamel in general. I do understand that he has a so-called analyzing ability, but I don't buy it." Eun whispered.

"Huh? He seems fine to me, Eun. I trust him, he's my ally, after all." I reassured her.

"Very well, Ara. I'll be keeping a close eye on him just in case, though."

And just like that, I simply started to head further down the road to uncover the aura of darkness.
