NOTES: Hi guys!

I got this prompt a while ago, about SuperFlash and it took me a while to be inspired to do it, but is finally here. Is funny because SuperFlash is the reason I ship SuperArrow. I've read this fic once, a SuperFlash one, and the author worked so well with Oliver and Kara's friendship there, that I saw chemistry. I think it was before Invasion crossover. And when the crossover came, I was so happy to see their interactions, I shipped them even more.

It was Karaoke night, Kara's favorite. That time once a week where she could let herself go and not worry about anything else. At least it was usually like this, but tonight she had something else in her mind: to let all of her blues go. She was a super hero, she could fly, see through walls, through lasers with her eyes, she could lift a building with one finger but her heart seemed so fragile now. She spent a whole year crushing on her friend, Jimmy, and when they finally had a shot, Myriad happened. And then it all went south, and now she was at the alien bar, trying to pull it all behind her. They remained friends, but it was still a bit awkward, so she decided to give him some space until things could get back to normal. Alex, her beloved sister and Winn, one of her closest friends were with her, doing a singing competition and so far she was having the time of her life.

She heard a noise in the back of the bar and rushed outside. There was a few trash cans knocked out, dirt everywhere and... Barry Allen.

- Hey... Barry? – Kara smiled as she saw her friend from another universe. – Are you ok?

- Hi Kara – He waved back at her, getting up and really glad all that dirt didn't fall all over him. – I was running back home and must have lost track of it, because I accidentally opened a breach here... I blame this tachyon device... And my mood, I wasn't in a good mood so... But is nice to see you... I'm glad I ended up here, and not somewhere bizarre.

- You came just in time. Is karaoke night.

- I love karaoke! - Barry smiled, suddenly feeling really excited. – Sure, let's do this. I'm not feeling like going back right now.

- Great! We need one more person to make it a fair competition.

Kara grabbed his hand and dragged him inside with her, feeling really happy to see Barry there. When they met, the last time he ended up on National City by accident, he helped her with a major problem and it was also really exciting to learn about the multiverse being real and other Earths, and other heroes, and to know someone that also was a hero and had super powers. They barely had any time to really get to know each other, so maybe this was a new opportunity. It was also something to help her get her mind off her broken heart.

- Hey, Barry! – Winn greeted him, excitedly and smiled towards Alex. – This is...

- Barry Allen, speedster from another Earth... - Alex finished it, reaching her hand to Barry. – Yeah, I know, Kara wouldn't stop talking about it...

Kara blushed and grabbed the list of songs from Alex's hands.

- Funny. Well, Barry will join us for karaoke night... - Kara looked at Barry not even noticing she was staring at him with puppy eyes. Alex noticed it but kept quiet. – You're on my team. Those two just started a war against me, so now we're even...

- Of course we did, we rock at this, sis! – Alex teased

- Well, let's do this. – Barry said – I'm competitive. And I didn't want to say anything, but people say I'm good at this...

They all laughed as Kara and Barry picked up a song to sing. They spent a few seconds looking at the list.

- Somewhere over the rainbow – They said in unison, making Alex and Winn exchange a funny look and laugh.

- Oh my God, there are two of them – Alex said as she watched Kara and Barry go up in the stage.

They started the duet and everyone at the bar stopped to watch. Their voices combined perfectly, it was like they sang together all the time.

- Their voices are awesome together... we need to level the playing field, Alex. – Winn grabbed the song list and started looking for something to sing with Alex.

Barry was having a lot of fun singing with Kara. It felt so normal; it was like they always did it except it was the second time they were hanging out. The first one didn't count; they were saving her city from two lunatics. They spent half an hour battling each other singing until it was time for solos. Kara was up in the stage singing Moon River and Barry stood there, watching it, mesmerized. Kara sounded like an angel singing and he was just lost in the moment, enjoying it until she was done. He clapped excitedly as she came back to their table.

- That was awesome! – Barry kept clapping

- Alex says I put Kara in Karaoke... - Kara laughed as Alex clapped as well.

- Well, you just proved I'm right... Is a tie, I admit.

- Ok, I can live with that...this time – Kara teased

- Well guys, I don't know about you, but I'm tired... It was fun hanging out... - Alex said as she grabbed her jacket from her chair and turned to Kara and Winn. – Are you guys staying?

- No, I'm going to hit home. I need some sleep – Winn said also grabbing his jacket.

- Well, Barry just got here, so I'll stay for a while – Kara said as she looked at Barry, who nodded – You need to prove this drink they have here...

- See you guys. – Alex said

- Nice to see you again, Barry. – Winn said following Alex

Kara got a booth for them and sat across Barry. She noticed something was off, but was afraid of being too invasive if she asked something. She thought for a few seconds, adjusting her glasses.

- So... - She started – Is everything ok in your Earth?

- Yes. I mean, we had no villains trying to take over the city for the last 24 hours so it's something...

- You're better than us here; we just stopped my uncle and aunt's attempt to dominate the world by brainwashing everyone.

- Whoa... Is everyone here ok?

- Yes. It was terrifying just to think of it, but we were just at my place, celebrating the victory when we decided to come here.

- And... you and Jimmy? I mean, I don't want to seem inappropriate, is just the last time we talked you told me about him and...

- Is ok. – Kara laughed. Barry's awkwardness was really cute, she thought – That... went south. It just didn't work. I guess it wasn't meant to be.

She realized it was truly ok. She knew she was going to heal. She had the best time earlier with Winn and her sister, and now Barry was here and they were just hanging out, not worrying about lunatics running around the town, at least for now, it was all that she needed.

- I'm sorry about that.

- Is ok... I mean, no one died before from a broken heart, right?

- I had mine broken a couple of times so I'm living proof that you can survive it. I guess you'll be ok – Barry smiled – You were telling me about this drink...

- Yes! – Kara gave a slight but excited slap on the table. – You'll love it.

Kara went to the bar and got back with two drinks on her hands. She gave Barry one and sat back, putting the other glass in front of her.

- Alex was mocking me the other day, she was a bit drunk, and saying it was a shame I couldn't get drunk, and the bartender told us about some new drink they created, especially for us that can't get drunk... I don't usually like it, I always drink club soda, but since you're here and... I assume you also have this...

- Yes. Cisco came up with a special drink for me, and it was nice once to just let all my problems and worries behind me and have fun for one night, you know? So yeah, it was... interesting. I'm apparently really friendly when I drink.

- Me too. I laugh a lot as well. Alex loved it, she said I cracked her up. Since you told me you weren't in a good mood before and I'm getting over bad things, well... why not?

- You got me curious – He said as he took a sip of the drink, feeling it hit really fast. – Whoa! This is stronger than Cisco's drink.

- I know, right? I mean, Is really strong. One sip is enough to make me laugh...

- I'm feeling happier, I can tell you that.

- Me too! High five! – She reached her palm and he did it as well, laughing.

They decided to not drink more than one small cup, since it was really strong. They both knew the effect wouldn't last longer than half an hour, given their situation but the rest of the time they spent talking and sharing fun stories.

Barry decided to walk Kara home before going back to his Earth. He knew she could be in her place as fast as he could go back home, but he felt like spending just a bit longer with her, he had no idea when he was going to see her again. They kept sharing stories until they got there. Kara lived not so far away from the bar.

- So this is it...

- Yes... Thanks for tonight, I had a great time – He smiled.

- Me too. I hope we can see each other again soon.

Kara blushed as she noticed Barry staring at her the same way she was staring at him. She felt unsure if this was the right thing to do now, but she had to risk it. She took one step forward the same time he took one step forward, their lips softly touched and Kara could feel the sparks around them. It was one of those cliché movie moments. Barry reached for her cheek with one hand, caressing it and the other, holding her waist.

- I think we had the same idea... - Kara whispered as she smiled at him.

- Yes, I guess we did. – He gave her one more kiss – I have to go now...

- I know... It sucks, but I know. – She teased, making him smile.

- We'll see each other again... soon.

Kara felt his kiss once more and with her eyes closed, she felt the strong wind around her and knew that just like that, he was gone.

- Soon... - She whispered as she got inside her building.

Spoiler Alert:Chapter Summary:Prompt by Maxidavidemarvel: Hi, I'm a superarrow fan, i also enjoy Oliver and Kara with other characters, i wanted to ask you if you can do a part 2 of the second chapter of elseworlds, because I would love to see the reaction of Kara to what Sara did and to see them talk about it (Kara respond with a kiss maybe...), But just if you want this was just a suggestion.
