Unfortunately for Elrond, Gandalf had gotten himself into trouble once more. Legolas was settled down again, content, when Gandalf was running through the forest outside of Rivendell.
"Where is that blasted entrance!" Gandalf shouted, completely frustrated. He was tired and carried grave news for the Lord of the Hidden Valley. He barely managed to find it in time and the orc pack went right past him into the path of Rivendell soldiers. 'Next time I'll bring dwarves with me!' Gandalf huffed as he caught his breath. He made his way down the path and smiled when he saw the Last Homely House.
Legolas was playing hide and seek with Elladan and Elrohir. What was taking them so long to find him? Legolas started to get scared after an hour passed. Then two hours. Three hours. 'Did they forget about me?' Legolas worried and started to silently cry. What if Elrond and his family no longer wanted Legolas? Just as Legolas was about to go out into the forest, two pairs of arms wrapped around him.
"There you are!" Elladan exclaimed.
"We have looked everywhere for you! You had us so worried!" Elrohir whispered, tears in his eyes.
"Ada wants you to meet someone! "Elladan smirked, tickling his littlest brother. Legolas started to laugh hysterically until Elladan took mercy upon him. He carried the elfling into the kitchens to get the little one some food before moving on to his father's office. Legolas seemed curious but was more interested in the food. He didn't notice when they entered the study and the Maia that stared at him in shock. Elrond just smiled. He loved messing with Gandalf. Talking about messing with Gandalf, where was he going to move the entrance this time?
