~Yawn~ "I wonder how my parents are doing without me..." Ellie whispered to herself.

"They're probably already eaten by the creatures."  Twime responded. 

"Gah! You heard me? How?" Ellie stood up and suspiciously examined him. 

"It's a quite room... you could hear mice squeak if you try hard enough." he answered quickly.

Twime walked past her and laid on his bed.

"Let's sleep." he told her.

"Fine!" Ellie said in an accepting yet mean manner.

'Better text this on my social page' Ellie thought. 'last one of the day!'

Ellie soon fell asleep after the post.

Next Day...

 "Ellie wake up! I heard something." Twime shook her over and over.

"Huh.. It's 5 in the morning, what do you want?" She said. Clearly annoyed by not getting enough rest that she usually gets.

"Look!" He pointed to a yellow figure staring at them.

"Holy cow!" Ellie wailed.

"Shhh!" Twime hushed.

The figure faded into the walls and stood in front of Ellie.

"Another Pine ey?" He patted her head as he looked at Twime and laughed.

"but you aren't..." Th figure laughed.

"It doesn't matter!" Twime said in anger.

"Oh you two will see... My revenge WILL haunt you..."

"Revenge?" Ellie questioned

"Because of your father, I never got what I wanted!" He yelled.

We were distraught by his anger.

"I would have taken the world! But some how that little kid stopped me!"

"He's not a kid anymore!" I shouted.

"Well, you two are..." He laughed as he faded out of their room.

...

"Don't listen to him, Ellie." Twime put his hand on her shoulder which showed her comfort.

"Thanks Twime.." Ellie smiled at him to show she was okay.

He smiled back.

"W-well I suppose you have something better to do then hang out with your cousin?" Ellie smirked.

"Well since you put it that way ... Fine." he laughed

At the monthly carnival.

"C'mon slow poke!"  Ellie said as she grabbed Twime's arm to hurry him up.

He sighed as he followed her.

"let me take a selfie" Ellie giggled.

"Err I don't want to be in it..." Twime murmured.

"Hahah" she giggled.

"What is it?" Twime asked as he saw  how distraught Ellie was as she looked at her phone.

"n-nothing! It's just the comments. That's all."

"Let me see!" Twime smirked.

"N-no!" Ellie tried to take the phone away, but Twime was too fast and grabbed it.

"Woah!" His eyes widened.

"Yeah..." Ellie scratched the back of her head. 'Why would people say that to my adopted cousin!?' she thought.

"I guess I am pretty good lookin." He chuckled.

"Don't get to ahead of yourself." She laughed.

"Let's go! The carnival's closing soon!" 

"Okay." Twime smiled.

At the carnival, girls were surrounding Twime. Ellie ignored it and saw something that scared her.

"What was that...?" She felt hypnotized and like this was her destiny.. to follow this thing deeper into the forest.

"Ellie?" Twime looked away from all the girls only to focus on Ellie. He felt... worried.

He tried to escape the grasp of all the girls, but he couldn't. He watched as Ellie went deeper into the forest.

"Ellie no!" He screamed. Ellie couldn't hear him because she was angry with him.. but for what?

This thing attracts hopeless people as they are raging with emotions. 

Why was Ellie taken? What was she feeling? Jealousy, fear or maybe plain anger?

Or worse than that...
