I don't care what i have to do, and i can promise you that evil woman will pay for this!

i grabbed a book from the shelf

i'm going to escape... no matter what it takes...

Elizabeth's POV(present):

We loaded up our supplies into a hot air balloon that mom had been planning to use.

"That was interesting" Varian said.

"You can say that again, defiantly not the mother daughter reunion i always hoped for..." I said.

"Must have been a weird way for Varian to meet the future in-laws, huh?" Hugo joked.

Everyone was quiet.

"But in all seriousness, the fact that Donella had a kid never ceased to amaze me, she always seemed so cold hearted" he said.

"How long have you even known her for?" I asked.

"She took me in when i was like six" He said.

"That explains why you were always a jerk to me, she must have rubbed off on you" i said.

"That's not it" Hugo sighed.

I looked over at him.

"She was the closest i got to having a mother figure and i guess when i found out she had an actual child i was just scared that once you reunited she wouldn't have a reason to keep me around, and i couldn't go back to the streets" he explained.

"That's why you always gave off the feeling like you were two siblings arguing when you fought" Yong said.

"I didn't actually find out Ellie and Donella's daughter were the same person until i gave Donella a description of her, you should have seen her face" Hugo said.

As he spoke we all got into the balloon and Varian pulled out a map.

"Next stop, Corona" he said.
