Elizabeth's POV:

One of my earliest memories was riding into a town with my mother, this town was called 'Old Corona' i was 3 years old at the time and we were going to visit one of my mom's friends, she had a son my age who i loved hanging out with.

My mom knocked on the door and a woman in a redish pink dress with red hair tied up in a bun opened it, they talked for a minute before i was carried up to a room where a little boy was sitting on the floor, the same age as me.

He was playing with...something, i walked up to him and he looked at me then held up what he was playing with, a baby raccoon.

"Varian, why don't you tell Ellie your new friend's name?" Mom's friend said

"Rur Rur!" He laughed.

"Ruddiger" mom's friend translated "i helped him pick it" she said

After a while mom and her friend went downstairs.

Varian and i played with Ruddiger for a few hours before mom came to get me because it was time to leave.

If only i had known that would be my last time seeing him for years...
