It's been three days since the twins turned one, and Paul was hardly home anymore. Jack and Jason had 12 hour patrols on the weekends to make up for the ones they didn't have during the week. Paul had Quil and Embry teaching them to fight. Things were crazy.

I was working on making dinner while the twins were still napping and Grayson was occupied with cartoons when the phone rang.

"Hello," I said. "Elizabeth Lahote speaking."

"Hey, Lizzie," Alice's perfect voice came through the phone.

"What can I do for you?" I asked.

"Is Paul home?" She responded.

"Nope, but I'll have him call you when he gets in," I said.

"Alright, thanks," she said. "Oh, and by the way, we're back. Bella wants to meet the twins."

"Hell to the no. No offense, but she's not getting anywhere near my kids unless I have to play nice for Dad's sake," I hissed before slamming the phone down.

"What's going on?" Morgan asked. Her and Embry were now married, but Embry wouldn't resign from the pack yet. That didn't stop them from having kids. Morgan was two months pregnant with their first kid.

"When?" I asked. She hadn't been here when I picked the phone up.

"Two, maybe three, seconds before you slammed the phone down. Embry has fight training with the pups and then night patrol," she said.

"The Cullen's are back in town," I said, becoming anxious. That meant more boys would begin to phase.

"They can't be," she said, implying exactly what I was thinking about them being caught.

"They are," I said. She helped me make dinner and we fed the boys as they came in. Some just from patrol, others getting ready for patrol.

"Paul, baby," I said, greeting him at the back door.

"What is it babe?" He asked.

"Alice called. They're back in town. She said you need to call her back. They aren't getting anywhere near my kids," I said.

"I agree, babygirl," he said, wrapping his arms around my waist to hug me. It only lasted a few seconds when it sounded like World War III had broken out inside the house.

"What the hell is going on?" Paul yelled as we both stormed in the back door.

"Jason called me a pedophile," Jack said, shaking.

"Picture Sammy," I said, going to stand by him. "Picture her. Use that to calm down. You don't want to hurt her."

His shaking stopped, but Jason couldn't keep his mouth shut. "That's exactly what I meant. It's weird that he imprinted on a baby," Jason yelled.

"I didn't have a choice," Jack yelled back.

"Knock it off, both of you," Paul said, using an alpha order. "Jason, he isn't the only one to have imprinted on a baby. Seth and Jake did too. Quil imprinted on Claire when she was only three. You need to calm down because you know they had no choice in the matter."

"Jack, why do you let him bother you?" Embry asked.

"I hate when people say that," I said. "He doesn't want to get bothered by it. It just happens."

"She's right. Jason, you will be running extra patrols this weekend," Paul said. I went back to dinner and Paul went to call the Cullen's. Jack joined Grayson in the living room along with most the others, and Jason and the evening patrols left.

I listened to Paul's side of the conversation, faintly hearing bits and pieces about how the Volturri are after them again. After Paul hung up, he walked over to me with the phone still in his hand.

"I'll call and see if your dad and Sue will take the kids if you want to go with me," he said softly.

"Yeah, please do," I said. I finished up what I was working on and put dinner in the oven.

I ran to the kids' rooms and packed them all overnight bags. I heard Wyatt wake up and start yelling for me while I was in Grayson's room.

"What is it baby?" I asked, picking him up before grabbing Samantha and returning to the kitchen. Paul was still on the phone, but he took Sammy anyways and I got the task of calming Wyatt down.

"Shh," I cooed to him softly. He must've had a bad dream because he just kept saying Mama.

Luckily, my parents agreed to take the kids for the night, and Colin and Jack were fine here by themselves. Therefore, I was free to go with Paul to meet up with the Cullen's.
