Dear journal,

Admin, Daniel, and I saw the eclipse today. It was nearly a total eclipse, but not quite.

Daniel and Admin decided to use the glasses to stare at the sun with. Now their eyes hurt and Daniel's complaining about a headache. That can't be good. This is why I just poked a hole in a paper and watched the good old fashioned way.

Admin's cousins drove a few hours to where the total eclipse was. They got a video, so that's cool.

Other than the headache, Daniel's been coughing up rainbow colored glitter. I think he took the skittles advertisement too literally.

Anyway, I'm going to clean Georgi's attic for him while I look for his fairy wings. Daniel's been carrying bags into the house from the car then disappearing. He's going to his secret place again. I wonder which ship he's making a shrine for now.

     Now prepare yourself journal.

     Edward got me the sweetest gift ever! He's such an amazing man! But you aren't allowed to think that. He's mine. This ring proves it.

     No matter. He got me a little circular glass bottle with a plant growing inside. The dirt and the flower are from the day he proposed. How romantic. All it needs to survive is sunlight. Simple enough. I'm going to protect this gift with everything I have!

     I'll admit, Edward is a bit of a goof sometimes, but laughing is good for the soul. Like when he ate a fresh chocolate cupcake, right when I pulled it from the oven and before I could frost it. How ridiculous. Then, I told him that if he got a blister in his mouth he couldn't come running to me, but he's too cute to resist and I took it back.

    Luciana got me a music box ( and something else I'd rather not talk about ever again)! It's so nice, though I really don't need anything and she made me sound greedy.

     Daniel refuses to admit he ate his entire cake from Julchen over the course of today and yesterday.

     I should go and get Daniel headache medicine! Bye!
