In the penthouse, Douglas and Finn exit the HyperLift.

"So why did you think about spending the day here kid?" Douglas asks "it would have been so much cooler if you let me help you" Finn says, Douglas laughs.

"Look, maybe I can think of a project for us to do, what do you and I think?" Douglas says "Cool!" Finn smiles.

"so...is your mom coming to get you?" Douglas scratches the back of his head "why? are you into her?" Finn says, Douglas' eyes widen "I'm kidding!" Finn laughs "oh!" Douglas laughs nervously.

"good one boy" Douglas laughs "If you liked her, you wouldn't have a chance" Finn laughs "What?" Douglas says.

"you're not her type, man" Finn continues laughing "oh Great because she's not my type either" Douglas says.

"And yes, she's going to come get me in a little while I have class today" Finn says.

Harper comes out of the terrace with a box "hi Harper, why is it in the box?" Finn ask "hi kid, oh this Is.... nothing important" Harper says.

"What are you going to do with this?" Douglas asks "I can't leave this in the rain, maybe I'll leave it under the bed or something..." Harper says going to the stairs.

"But, don't anyone tell Chase about the existence of this box" Harper says "why not?" Finn asks "Is it something he won't like?" Douglas says, Harper looks at the box.

"it must be something fun" Douglas laughs, Harper glares at him "It's just something that might make him freak out" Harper says.

"what doesn't make Chase freak out?" Douglas chuckles "Yeah right" Harper says.

"So...are there explosives in that box?" Douglas says "no" Harper says "Is this something I should be worried about?" Douglas points to the box "No" Harper says "then I don't care, have fun hiding it from Chase" Douglas says, Harper leaves.

Someone knocks on the door, Finn opens the door.

"Hi baby!" Melody hugs him "Hi!" Douglas smiles, Finn and Melody look at him frowning "I was talking to my son.."Melody says "oh yes I just said hi, in bad timing" Douglas scratches the back of his head.

"I'm kidding you" Melody laughs softly "oh! You have the same sense of humor as your son" Douglas laughs nervously.

"hello Douglas" Melody smiles "hi Melody" Douglas greets her "Did Finn behave well?" Melody asks.

"yes, he's a great kid, I'm actually thinking of a project for us to work on together!" Douglas says "I can't wait Doug" Finn says "You have no idea how much he loves being here with you" Melody says

"we love him here, and we would even like it if you spent more time here too" Douglas smiles, Melody tilts her head "aw I would love to,but I have a lot of work at college this week and besides we have a science fair at Finn's school this weekend" Melody says.

"Ahg! I told you mom, you don't need to go" Finn says "We've already discussed this, now go to the car because you're going to be late for class" Melody says, Finn rolls his eyes.

"oh and here.." Melody reaches into her bag and takes out a package from the bag "I made you a snack to take to school today..." Melody smiles, Douglas smiles at her.

"Mom!!" Finn says "what? You always liked my snacks, and look, I made a curiosity card and I put it inside so you can have a surprise when you open it" Melody smiles proudly.

"Really? Curiosity card, mom, no, it's humiliating" Finn says, Melody makes a serious face "go to the car!" Melody says "bye Doug" Finn leaves, Melody sighs.

"wow" Douglas says "I know! I don't know how to deal with this, one moment I'm great and the next everything I do is embarrassing for him" Melody says frustrated "Teenagers, right" Douglas says.

"Yes, I intend to redeem myself with him at the school's science fair, all parents and guardians need to set up stalls and activities for the students" Melody says.

"Oh that looks really cool, and what are you planning?" Douglas says "Well, since I'm an astronomer, I intend to make a detailed presentation about the solar system and star formations and maybe..." "Woah woah!" Douglas interrupts.

"What?" Melody says "well I just think that since these kids already spend the whole year learning these things it would be cool for them to do something cool at an event like that" Douglas says, Melody gasps.

"Advanced knowledge of astronomy is cool...like Really cool!" Melody says, Douglas chuclkes "and you still don't understand why the boy is ashamed of you?" Douglas says "Douglas!" Melody says.

"I'm sorry, I'm just messing with you" Douglas says "Oh I know maybe it's a bad idea, I'm not good at it" Melody says "I can help you with that" Douglas says.

"How?" Melody says "I'm going to the fair with you and we're going to set up a stall that the kids will like" Douglas says, Melody smirks "No, you must have more important things to do" Melody says.

"No, I want to do it, I already wanted to spend time with Finn and I think this is a good way and will help you" Douglas smiles "why?" Melody says "I already told you I want to do it!" Douglas says.

"and do you happen to know what teenagers like ?" Melody tucks her hair behind her ear "I'm sure advanced astronomical theories aren't one of them" Douglas says, Melody glares at him.

"Okay I think it could be cool" Melody says "okay we'll see you at the fair" Douglas says, Melody leaves.

In the guest room, which at this point can be referred to as Chase and Harper's room, Harper is moving the box under the bed when Chase enters the room.

"Harp!" Chase says coming in holding a book "I just finished this book and I need you to read it like today..." Chase stops when he sees Harper quickly getting up and standing in front of the box.

"Of course honey, I'll read it..." Harper smiles, Chase looks at the box confused "what were you doing?" Chase asks suspiciously.

"Nothing, just storing things..." Harper says, the box starts to move, Harper gives the box a light kick and it stops.

"in a box that moves?" Chase questions "It's not the box that moves, silly!...It's the ants, you know how...they are strong" Harper frowns at her own excuse.

"Harper, what's in the box!?" Chase crosses his arms and approaches "uh....What do I need to do to make you forget you saw the box?" Harper says "Show me what's in the box" Chase says.

"Seriously that's your response when a girl says she'd do ANYTHING to make you forget the box" Harper blinks seductively "Harper!" Chase says irritated, Harper sighs.

The box meows "is it a cat?" Chase says, Harper rolls her eyes "Chase, calm down!" Harper opens the box and takes out a kitten, she holds the cat.

"yes it's a cat!" Harper says "Seriously, a cat, and you bring him to our room..." Chase says "he was on the terrace but it started raining and I couldn't leave him there, right" Harper says to the cat stroking his head.

Chase sighs "Okay Chase, this is Newton" Harper smiles, Chase smiles "Newton!?" Chase says.

"yup, I found him last week when he fell out of a tree and hurt his paw...Newton, got it?" Harper says "was it an apple tree?" Chase chuckles.

"No, it would make the name even more appropriate, but apple or no apple he proved that gravity exists!" Harper hugs the cat, Chase shakes his head, Harper walks over.

"Newton, that's your daddy!" Harper says in a thin voice to Newton approaching him to Chase.

"Hi daddy!" Harper shakes Newton's paw as if he was saying hi, Chase bites his lip trying to hold back his smile and the temptation to show how cute he thought Harper was being.

"Say hi" Harper says "hello...and goodbye Newton" Chase says "here we go" Harper sighs.

"Harp with all due respect, we are not keeping this cat" Chase says "I knew you were going to say that" Harper says.

"and I brought him anyway!" Chase says "what should I do? Leave him there alone and hurt!?" Harper says.

"of course not, but like you said it was a week ago and he's clearly recovering so..." Chase says "then I'll keep him" Harper hugs the cat, Chase tilts his head.

"Harper, you know I'm allergic, If I breathe in his fur I'll start sneezing" Chase says taking a step back "well, I'm asking you to accept the cat, don't inhale him!" Harper says, Chase rolls his eyes.

"Oh come on! You're not so allergic anymore in a week you haven't sneezed even once" Harper says "it doesn't matter we won't keep him" Chase says.

"Why not!?" Harper says "We don't have time to take care of a cat..." Chase says.

"No!? But what do you do all day anyway?" Harper asks, Chase thinks "uh....Important things, that's not the point!...Look, maybe he's still small right now, but have you ever thought about the mess he can make in the house?" Chase says.

"I'm sure it won't be any worse than the mess Kaz makes!" Harper says "Look, I don't want to argue with you right now" Chase says going to bed.

"Great, then I'll keep him, no argument!" Harper smiles, putting the cat in the box again.

"uhg! You're so..." Chase rolls his eyes "what?" Harper raises her eyebrow, Chase sighs "difficult!" Chase says "you too!" Harper says, Chase thinks.

"but I love you" Chase says assuring himself, Harper sits on the bed and smiles "relax sweetheart, I'm not mad" Harper kisses him "No?" Chase says.

"Nope! After all I'm going to keep the cat" Harper smiles and lies down turning off the light "i didn't...." Chase rolls his eyes and sighs impatiently.

At the weekend Douglas goes to Finn's school and starts setting up the stall at the fair, Melody and Finn approach.

"Hey Doug!" Finn says running up to Douglas and greeting him with a high five "Hey boy!" Douglas says "hi Douglas you're early!" Melody says putting her bag on the table.

"yes, there's a lot to be sorted out so I wanted to get started" Douglas smiles "wow you're very committed to this" Melody says "Nah It's no big deal" Douglas says.

"can I help?" Finn says "of course! You are the one who will order our workstation!" Douglas says showing Finn a box with parts "what is this?" Finn asks.

"We're going to do a robot workshop, these are small pre-assembled robots that students will finish assembling as a little introduction to robotics" Douglas says "Woah!" Finn says in awe.

"Isn't that too complicated for them?" Melody asks "no no ma'am, I did my best to make everything as simple as possible and skipping the boring parts" Douglas says "Wow that's very impressive" Melody smiles "thank you" Douglas says convinced.

"how do we start?" Finn says, Douglas helps Finn fix things, Melody watches the two and she smiles, she puts her hand in front of her nose, as if she hides something.

A woman approaches the tent "Dr. Stone, good to see you here!" The woman says "Mrs Allison, good to see you too" Melody says.

"what's all this about?" Mrs Allison asks "Oh that.." Melody says Douglas approaches "it's a robot workshop!" Douglas says proudly "oh! It looks very interesting!" Alisson says.

"and it is!" Finn says excitedly, Douglas pats him on the back "Yes, Douglas this is Allison, Finn's teacher" Melody says "hi, I'm Douglas" Douglas says.

"oh you must be Finn's father" Alisson smiles and greets him, Douglas and Melody look at each other awkwardly "No!" They both say.

"He isn't.... no... no, no, no" Melody laughs shyly "there have been enough no's Melody!" Douglas says.

"Sorry, I just...I didn't mean it would be a bad thing...I just..""I think you're not helping" Douglas says irritated "I completely agree" Melody looks away and saws her lips awkwardly.

"I'm a friend, I'm helping whit the stall" Douglas says "Oh I see, well...you guys seem to be doing a great job" Alisson says "thank you" Melody and Douglas says.

"and for the record I don't know why she was so bothered since I'm practically a father to her eldest daughter" Douglas says, still uncomfort able, Melody rolls her eyes and Alisson frowns.

"Okay, have a good day" Alisson smiles and leaves.

"Really?" Melody crosses her arms "what? Is it so bad that people think we...?" Douglas gestures "I...I don't" Melody takes a deep breath "Why are you asking that?" Melody says.

"I was just intrigued by the thousand no's" Douglas says "I was just correcting the girl's mistake" Melody says.

"an error that can be said to be plausible, right?" Douglas says "Well... obviously" Melody says.

"oh! okay! that answer was a little better thank you I thought you were going to say NO again" Douglas says, Melody glares at him.

In the living room Harper is sitting on the sofa with Newton on her lap watching TV.

"Okay, I know you're new to this so I'll explain it to you!" Harper says to Newton and points to the TV "This guy in the mask is the villain but he is also the protagonist's father, this is a spoiler that everyone knows and you can't avoid finding out before you get to the second film so you better know now...and also, when you go see a movie about a cruise ...it sinks" Harper says.

"Harper!!" Chase shouts upstairs "Another spoiler alert....your daddy can be really annoying sometimes" Harper says Chase walks in holding a sweter with an angry look on his face.

"What does that mean?" Harper says "You used my sweater to keep this cat warm!?" Chase says irritated "Uh...I had no idea that sweater was yours" Harper says.

"well it was!" Chase says "why?" Harper says "what do you mean why?" Chase says "it's a really ugly sweater" Harper says, Chase frowns.

"like I got this sweter because I thought" wow what an ugly sweter no one should be attached to that"" Harper says, Chase looks at the sweter.

"it's true" Chase says analyzing the sweater "seriously, what colors are those neon yellow and orange? or brown? I don't even know" Harper says "It's really horrible" Chase says.

"Why did you buy that?" Harper says "actually... I have no idea where that came from!" Chase asks himself he throws his sweater on the sofa.

"even Newton felt offended when I brought that thing near him" Harper says "It doesn't matter, it was mine and now it's full of cat hair, just like the rest of the apartment" Chase says.

"If this is the problem, know that every day, a healthy person loses between 50 and 200 strands of hair, so let's say 200 threads, we live in six people so every day we have practically 1200 strands of hair falling everywhere, so unless you expel everyone here including yourself I don't see any logic in your argument" Harper says, Chase sighs.

"Harper We're not keeping the cat so find another place for him!" Chase says, Harper sighs.

"Chase understand this, If a object C exerts a force on a Object H, Then object H exerts on object C a force of the same magnitude and opposite direction!" Harper says with a smile while petting the cat, Chase crosses his arms.

"You just mentioned Newton's third law just to say that you're going to do the exact opposite of what I'm saying and you're going to keep.... Newton!?" Chase questions "Yeah! what I can do is NEWTON'S third law!" Harper points to the cat.

"You have incredibly logical answers and arguments for everything, don't you?" Chase says "Yes, I do!" Harper proudly says.

"That's annoying...and it's weirdly...Hot!" Chase says "I figured you would think that and I took it as a reason why you let me keep the cat" Harper says.

"Oh, you acting smart to attract me isn't going to work this time, girl!" Chase says whit a smirk "really? How many digits of π would it take for me to succeed in this mission?" Harper says, Chase chuckles.

"it depends on the mission, is it attracting me or keeping the cat?" Chase says "keep the cat" Harper says "well in this case just 4,000" Chase says, Harper glares at him.

"that's not fair! you know I only memorized 3,000" Harper says "try harder honey" Chase says "and how many digits does it take to attract you?" Harper smirk "oh! Only the first three digits for you babe" Chase smiles and starts to leave.

"3.14!" Harper says "Oh don't even try now!" Chase leaves, Harper rolls her eyes.

At the school fair, Douglas, Finn and Melody were already one of the most crowded stalls at the fair, all the children wanted to assemble and play with their mini robots.

"Our tent is a success" Melody says "I know all my friends came here and I even helped a girl build a robot!" Finn says excitedly "that's amazing, thanks Doug!" Finn hugs Douglas, Melody sighs slightly upset.

"actually, this was all your mother's idea" Douglas says, Melody looks at him in surprise "really!?" Finn ask "Uh...of course, I just wanted to see you have fun and with the best stall at the fair so, I asked Douglas for help" Melody smiles.

"Thanks mom, you're amazing!" Finn hugs Melody, she smiles at Douglas "aww you are, baby" Melody kisses Finn's head, Finn goes out to talk to some friends.

"Thank you for all of this, it means a lot" Melody says "you're welcome" Douglas smiles, Douglas watches Melody for a while, he takes a deep breath.

"Melody, I wanted to ask you something..." Douglas says "of course, what was it?" Melody says "I wanted to know if you..." "Hey!!" Perry suddenly appears behind Douglas,He jumps in fright.

"Who invited you!?" Douglas says "no one the fair is public, and everywhere my man is I am" Perry smiles "I'm not your man" Douglas says "It's a matter of time before you thirst, they always thirst" Perry says, Douglas makes a disgusted face.

"I just came to see what you guys are doing here and make sure you stay away from certain people" Perry looks suspiciously at Melody.

"hi Perry" Melody tries to be friendly "don't say hi Perry to me!" Perry says "here we go" Douglas rolls his eyes.

"I know what you're up to blonde, you come like someone who doesn't want anything, being nice and acting smart just to hook him!" Perry says, Douglas puts his hand on his face.

"I assure you that you don't need to worry about me" Melody says "it's true just today she rejected me with a thousand no's" Douglas tilts his head.

"really still bothered by this?" Melody says "Guess what.. No, no, no, no....No!" Douglas says Melody rolls her eyes.

"I think you better stay far away from him, if I see you exchanging glances I'll turn that blonde hair into a mop!" Perry says threatening Melody "It won't happen" Melody says and leaves, Douglas rolls his eyes.

"what's wrong with you!?" Douglas tells Perry "I don't like this woman" Perry says "yeah, but I do!" Douglas says, his eyes widen when he realizes what he said.

"What, do you?" Perry says "she doesn't deserve to be treated like that!" Douglas says "do you like her?" Perry says a little irritated "No" Douglas says.

He gives a slight smile when he says no even though it's not true, maybe Melody did the same.

"I'm just saying that I don't feel good seeing you being rude to her, I would be grateful if you acted like a normal person" Douglas says irritated and leaves.

Perry makes an irritated face and looks at Douglas and Melody talking,"No, I'm not going to let this Doctor Trouble steal my man" Perry says.

She looks at the tent table and the robot parts, she opens some robots and takes out a part from each one, she goes to Melody's bag and throws the pieces in there.

"Let's see if he'll like her when SHE sabotages the robots" Perry laughs.

Later Chase, Harper and Kaz go to the fair, Harper carries Newton inside her jacket, only being able to see his little head sticking out of the jacket, Chase looks at Newton.

"I can't believe you brought that cat here" Chase says "Chase! He's a baby he can't be left alone at home" Harper says "yeah Chase, he's just a baby" Kaz smile, Chase glares at him.

"Kaz understands" Harper says "oh and now you're on Kaz's side!" Chase says "since your side doesn't understand the pros of being with Newton, yes!" Harper says.

"Okay okay that's enough, you guys have been arguing all day, come on, it's just a cat" Kaz says "Exactly, it's just a cat!" Harper says "Yes, IT'S JUST a cat!" Chase says.

"You're unbelievable" Harper shakes her head "me!?" Chase says "okay I'm going over there to buy some cotton candy!" Kaz leaves.

"You can't even give him a chance!?" Harper says, Chase sighs "you might be surprised how smart he is I can train him, he might even become useful as...a guard cat!" Harper says "Oh a guard cat!?" Chase says "don't talk with that tone!" Harper says.

Chase frowns like he heard something "Chase I just wanted..." "Shh!" Chase interrupts, paying attention to the sound "You just shhed me!?" Harper says irritated "yeah... I mean NO! I would never do that to you sweetheart...I'm just hearing something..." Chase explains.

"like what?" Harper says "Something that sounds like...." Chase sees a child with one of Douglas' robots "A bomb!!" Chase runs up to the child and throws the robot away, the robot explodes in the air.

The child's mother runs and takes the child away, Harper opens her eyes wide and hugs Newton watching the explosion.

"What was that?" Harper says "I don't know, but it was one of Douglas' robots, come on!" Chase pulls her and the two go to Douglas' tent.

Douglas and Melody are monitoring the tent, Harper and Chase come running.

"hi daughter, I'm so happy you're here!" Melody hugs Harper "hi Melody" Harper says.

"oh who is this cute cat?" Melody says stroking Newton inside Harper's jacket "That's Newton" Harper smiles.

"Oh he's my favorite physicist!" Melody says "Do you want him, Dr Stone?" Chase says "Chase!" Harper says irritated.

"Oh, that's what was in that box that Chase couldn't know about?" Douglas says, Harper nods "Did you know that?" Chase says "that it was something cool that you were going to ruin as soon as you found out? Yes!" Douglas says.

Perry approaches them "Aww who is this!? Hello little guy" Perry goes to Harper and picks up Newton in his arms.

"Hey! Who said you could pick him up like that!?" Harper says "I, you should already know that cats love me" Perry says "oh another reason not to keep him" Chase says, Harper glares at him.

"Why did you come running?" Douglas asks "one of your robots exploded!" Harper says walking over to the table.

"What?" Douglas says "relax I heard the sound of the bomb before it exploded in a little boy's face!" Chase helps Harper look at the robots.

"This doesn't make sense, I assembled them one by one to make sure they wouldn't malfunction, much less explode!" Douglas says "Here!" Harper takes an open robot, Chase looks at It.

"There's a piece missing" Chase says, Douglas approaches "Oh no, this part is essential without it the gears overload and explode" Douglas says.

Kaz and Finn approaches "what's happening?" Finn ask "There are parts missing from Douglas' robots and now they might explode" Harper says "What!?" Finn ask.

Melody hears her cell phone in her bag ring, she goes to her bag "how did these pieces disappear?" Chase says.

"uh... would these be the three pieces you're looking for?" Melody takes three pieces "yes!" Douglas goes to her, Perry looks away and caresses Newton.

"why are the pieces with you?" Harper asks "Because that's what she does she steals things and she obviously wants to sabotage your robots, Doguie!" Perry says.

"why would I steal from my own stall?" Melody says "Because you're jealous of his genius and wanted to sabotage the robots to feel better about yourself" Perry says.

"what? That doesn't make any sense!" Melody says "yeah! Perry that's ridiculous" Harper says "I still say you can't be trusted!" Perry says "Hey stop calling my mom a saboteur!" Finn says irritated.

"well Someone must have taken the pieces on purpose and put them in your bag thinking they would sabotage the tent" Kaz says "Who would do that?" Harper says.

"someone with a wicked mind..." Douglas says "someone who doesn't like Melody..." Kaz says "someone who would like to sabotage Melody and..." Chase realizes and turns to Perry "feel better about yourself!" Harper crosses her arms and completes the sentence.

"you sabotaged the robots!" Douglas says "No I didn't!" Perry says "said the greatest saboteur that ever lived" Harper says.

"exactly, and give me the cat!" Chase goes to Perry and takes Newton from her arms "He's naive, I don't want you to corrupt his innocent and sweet mind with your bad influences!" Chase says petting Newton, Harper smiles at him.

Chase looks at her and he makes a surprised face at himself "uh...after all I don't wish this on anyone" Chase says handing the cat to Harper pretending not to care.

"Perry, why did you do that?" Melody says "oh, are you going to pretend you don't know?" Perry says irritated, Melody frowns.

"that's enough! That's not the problem now!" Douglas stands between the two.

"Yes, we have three pieces or three bomb robots, one exploded and the other is here" Harper says "does that mean there is a robot at this fair prone to exploding at any moment?" Kaz ask "exactly!" Harper says.

"Easy just find the robot before it explodes" Finn says, they look around at several children with the robots.

"uh which one?" Finn says "there won't be time" Melody says "Can't you be positive for once!?" Douglas says, Melody smiles sarcastically at him.

"I'll scan the perimeter to find it" Chase says putting his hand on his temple "Look Perry, I'm sorry I did something to you but..." Melody says.

"I don't want to talk about it" Perry says "if I did something to offend you forgive me" Melody says "you showing up here offended me and I won't forgive you" Perry says.

Chase finishes scanning "Over there!" He points, Chase, Harper, Kaz, Douglas and Finn run through the people at the fair Harper leaves Newton with Melody.

Melody and Perry stay behind.

"seriously Perry I hate knowing that there is someone who doesn't like me I try to be nice to everyone!" Melody says worriedly, Perry rolls her eyes.

"That's the thing, you're too good I don't know what he sees in you" Perry says, Melody frowns "what?" Melody says.

"What? You're going to pretend you don't see the way he looks at you!" Perry says irritatedly, "Douglas?" Melody says "No, the priest, of course him!" Perry says.

"Perry for the last time, there's nothing between me and Douglas!" Melody says "But he wants there to be something between you! And I won't rest until I make sure you guys are well away from each other, even if I have to lock him in a safe for that to happen!" Perry says.

"Maybe nothing happened between you guys because you're an obsessive crazy person" Melody crosses her arms "at least I don't look like an obsessive crazy person like you, Stick in a suit!" Perry says, Melody gasps.

"I'm trying to be polite but I'm on the verge of losing my line with you!" Melody says "Don't do that blondie, otherwise I'll do that to you" Perry takes a pencil and breaks it and leaves.

Everyone returns with the robot "did you do it!?" Melody asks "yes, nothing is going to explode today" Harper smiles.

"Oh that's good" Melody says relieved handing Newton to Harper, Douglas puts the robot on the table and Melody looks at him thoughtfully.

"are you okay mom?" Finn asks seeing Melody's look "yes, look Finn, I'm sorry, I should have imagined that Perry..." "hey mom relax, it was nothing, today was amazing" Finn says, Melody smiles "I'm glad" Melody says.

"thank you for coming" Finn says to Harper"I wouldn't lose for my little brother's fair for anything" Harper says.

"We're Always here to prevent or cause explosions" Chase smiles "yeah and I only come here because I smelled popcorn but the bomb robots are cool too" Kaz says with a bag of popcorn.

"There's an animal adoption tent not far from here" Chase says to Harper "great let's leave Kaz there and then you and Newton will go home whit me" Harper says leaving.

Kaz chuckles "She just insulted you, what are you laughing at?" Chase says "yes she insulted me but from afar you can see that you were the most irritated by it" Kaz laughs.

Douglas and Melody are putting things away from the tent, Finn is playing basketball on the school court.

"I apologize for Perry's behavior," Douglas says "what? No, It wasn't your fault, but has she always been like this?" Melody asks.

"I'm going to risk saying that she's been worse" Douglas says "She hates me" Melody says "don't mind it" Douglas says.

"I don't like the idea of someone not liking me" Melody says "it's no big deal half the world hates me and I'm okay with that" Douglas smiles, Melody laughs.

"You said No right to my face and look how good I am with that" Douglas says "you don't look fine whit it" Melody says "believe me I am" Douglas says with a nervous laugh, Melody chuckles.

"you scare me" Melody says "why?" Douglas ask "You make me feel like a teenager again" Melody smiles "and that's bad?" Douglas says.

"I can't afford to live like an irresponsible teenager anymore" Melody says she points to Finn "now there are people who suffer the consequences and depend on me" Melody says.

"I understand it must be a lot of responsibility" Douglas says, Melody agrees and tries to lift a box of parts, the box is heavy and she fails to lift it.

"but you know maybe it would be nice to have someone to...Help you" Douglas says lifting the box for her, Melody looks at the box then at Douglas.

"I've failed many times with this "helps"...I conclude that I'm better alone, I deal with everything alone and I do it very well, and without... disappointments" Melody sighs.

"You are a very strong woman Dr Stone" Douglas smirk, Melody is surprised by the compliment, she smiles slightly and wrinkles her nose but the moment she realizes she discreetly scratches her nose.

"Thank you" Melody clears her throat "but I'm serious, I'll be here for whatever you need from a stall at a fair to... any bigger problem" Douglas says.

"I appreciate the kindness but it won't be necessary" Melody says "I'm not asking for permission" Douglas smiles and leaves with the box, Melody shakes her head and rolls her eyes with a slight smile.

Later Chase goes up to his room after working on the Mission Command all day, he flops down on the bed and sighs, he settles down to take a nap.

That's when he hears small footsteps and a meow, Chase lifts his head and sees Newton at the door staring at him.

"what do you want?" Chase tells Newton, the cat meows and Chase rolls his eyes, Newton climbs into bed.

"Oh no, don't even think about it!" Chase says, Newton glares at him "Stop staring at me!" Chase says, Newton climbs into his lap, Chase threatens to take him away.

"You're lucky I'm too tired to take you out of the room!" Chase says, Newton lays on Chase's belly and purrs, Chase gives a slight smile and scratches Newton's head, laying down again.

Later Harper enters the room and sees Chase napping with Newton sleeping, lying on his belly, Chase pets the cat making sure he won't fall over

Harper smiles and crosses her arms she approaches slowly "well, well well, look what we have here..." Harper says, Chase slowly opens his eyes.

"look at you" Harper tilts her head and smiles "it's not what you think, you can stop there" Chase says "No!?" Harper says she goes to him.

Harper gets on top of Chase and takes Newton in her arms "Because it seemed to me like you were starting to like him" Harper says, Chase opens his eyes again "it just seemed so" Chase says.

Harper chuclkes "you'll never admit it" Harper says "because it's not true" Chase leans on his arms and looks at her.

"you like him" Harper says "No" Chase can't hold back his smile "you're so annoying" Harper says "you are too" Chase says, Harper leans in.

"aw but you like it when I'm smarter than you" Harper says, Chase rolls his eyes, Harper kisses him softly, He kisses her back.

"See? you like it!" Harper says but she is interrupted by a kiss from Chase, who runs his hand through her hair, Harper is still holding Newton.

Chase puts his tongue in her mouth gently, she slowly lies down next to him without breaking the kiss.

Chase breaks the kiss and looks at Harper who smiles and starts petting the cat "okay" Chase says "okay what?" Harper asks "you can keep him" Chase says.

"really!?" Harper says, Chase nods "Yeah! hear that Newton, you're staying!" Harper tells Newton who meows.

"but you never needed my permission, you don't need my permission for anything you don't even obey anyway" Chase chuckles.

"I know, but I care about your opinion and if you feel comfortable with my decisions, I care how you feel" Harper says "Thank you for caring about this" Chase says, Harper smiles.

"what's wrong?" Chase aks "I don't understand why these stubborn and annoying things you do only make me love you more" Harper says "I wonder the same thing about you, lady rebellion" Chase says.

"But I'm sorry for being so strict about it" Harper says "I'm sorry too, I promise I'll be more understanding next time" Chase says.

"When I saw him, I thought he deserved a loving environment so..." Harper says shyly "and you thought of us" Chase smiles, Harper nods and pets the cat.

"You're so cute, baby" Chase brings his face closer to hers "me? Cute?" Harper raises her eyebrow "Relax, I won't tell anyone" Chase smirk "and the same goes for you! It's our secret" Chase tells Newton.

Harper smiles slightly and kisses Chase lightly.

"But it still doesn't mean I like him" Chase puts his arm around Harper and she lies closer to him "It's only a matter of time" Harper puts Newton back on Chase's belly and the three of them take a nap.
