At the terrace of Davenport tower.

Kaz is down on the floor and the girls are sitting around the coffe table, Chase walks in.

"Kaz, buddy, there's plenty of room over here. You don't have to eat on the floor" Chase says.

"I don't mind him standing there, if he even wants to go a little further there or jump out I won't stop him" Harper says, Kaz glares at her with a snarky smirk.

"I'm not eating on the floor. I'm preparing my food on the floor" Kaz says getting a rake with hot dogs on it, Oliver walks in "Ooh, my favorite, hot dogs on a rake!" Oliver says.

"Wow, you actually made tubes of random animal parts even more disgusting" Bree says "Hey, they only look gross because I haven't grilled them yet" Kaz Use fire powers to heat food.

"Who's disgusting now?" Kaz says he
takes a leaf out of his mouth "still you, always you!" Harper says.

"Yeah, You do know I just used that rake to clean the gutters. Right?" Skylar says "Mmm, you can taste yesterday's rain" Oliver says.

"You boys are ridiculous. Your powers are a gift. You shouldn't be wasting them on trivial things" Skylar says "But that's the fun tho!" Harper smiles.

"I don't see the point in that!" Skylar says "you only say that because you were born with powers so it's normal for you" Harper says.

"I agree with Skylar, you guys are always using your powers when you don't have to. Yesterday Oliver flew across the street just to go to the grocery store" Bree says.

"That was an emergency. We were out of Loopy Loops. And you know what, for your information, girls are just as bad. When Mr. Davenport called, you used your vocal manipulation to pretend to be me" Kaz says.

"But I can stop whenever I want. You guys are the ones that have no control" Bree says.

"Oh, really? Well, then I propose a challenge, guys versus girls, to see who can go the longest without using bionic abilities or superpowers. Last man or woman standing wins" Kaz says he extends his hand.

"You're on" Bree says and put her hand over his "I'm in" Chase does the same "Me too" Skylar says "I just want to touch Skylar's hand" Oliver says.

Everyone looks at Harper who remains seated, she laughs "No, I'm not a sucker for participating in a challenge that I know I'm going to lose, see this is the first step to never lose!" Harper says.

"Harper come on!" Bree says "Nope i'm Fine and I got nothing to prove !" Harper keeps eating.

"Okay one less" Kaz smiles "You ladies are going down. I mean, when you calculate the statistical odds and factor in the lopsided ratio of the three of us against two of you, the boys have an 86.37 percent chance of winning" Chase says.

"Interesting. And how exactly did you calculate those odds?" Bree ask "Yeah, I'm out" Chase sits "Want to know the first step to never losing again?" Harper smiles.

In Mission comand Douglas is messing with the computer when Chase and Harper exit the HyperLift.

"Hey Douglas!!" Harper says "Hey, whatcha up to?" Chase says.

"Just looking for a place nearby to grab a nice macaroon" Douglas says "A macaroon?" Chase says.

"Hey, just because I'm a little rough around the edges doesn't mean I can't enjoy a sophisticated treat" Douglas says "You're a lovely old lady would you like some tea to go with it?" Harper says sarcastically Douglas shake his Head.

"By the way Chase, you need to be more careful. It's your job to secure this place and you left that rock wall open last night" Douglas says.

"What? No, I didn't. I locked down the entire perimeter before Harper and I went to bed" Chase says absently, Harper widens her eyes and smacks him on the arm, Chase notices.

"Oh! Uh...I-I mean before we...go to sleep separately...um in separate rooms...se-separate!" Chase says nervously, Douglas frowns and looks at Harper who just smiles awkwardly she swallows.

"Um yeah he...he locked down everything!" Harper says scratching the back of her head.

"Well, I was the first one down here this morning and it was wide open" Douglas says "Let me check last night's security footage" Chase says, Harper looks at backup security software.

"That's weird. It's been wiped" Chase says "Core security software has been compromised, I'll activate the backup" Harpersays.

"I bet it was Roman and Riker!" Chase says, the rock wall opens, Douglas pulls out a gun, and Chase and Harper get into a fighting stance.

The wall opens and they come across a little boy holding a tablet he looks scared at first "Freeze!" Douglas says.

"A little boy!?" Harper questions "Who are you?" Chase ask "My name is AJ. I live a floor above you guys" Aj says.

"Are you gonna drop the weapons or are you seriously afraid of a little kid?" Aj says to Douglas "Why haven't we seen you before?" Douglas ask.

"I like to keep to myself. A man of mystery, if you will." AJ says "To be a man of mystery you kinda need to be a man first" Harper laughs "I'm more of a man than he is" Aj points at Chase, he makes an offended face.

"I know all about you guys. The Elite Force!" Aj says.

"How did you even get down here? It's surrounded by walls of solid rock" Chase says "Well, I was checking on the building's energy consumption and I noticed an unusually high drain coming from below the building" Aj says.

"Wait, you check the building's energy consumption?" Douglas asks "Of course. Gotta keep tabs on all the over-users. The future is green, my man" Aj says.

Harper laugh sympathetically "Come on, this kid can't be real" Harper smiles.

"Anyway, I used a structural entometer to scan the area and locate the room. Then I cracked the security code and I've been coming here ever since" Aj says.

"Ever since? How often do you come here?" Douglas says "A lot more than you'd like. My parents work a lot so I figured why hang out at home when... I can hang here with all this cool technology." AJ says.

"Well I don't judge you" Harper looks around and smiling, Chase frowns at her " I would do the same!" Harper says "yeah I know you would" Chase says.

"I just had to copy your online calendar so I'd know when to slip in undetected" Aj says "oh what!?" Harper ask whit a smile "You copied our calendar?" Chase says angry.

"Yeah. Which reminds me... aren't you supposed to be at a dentist appointment right now?" Aj ask "ninth. He rescheduled it so he could sleep in. Wait. Why am I telling you this?" Chase says annoyed.

"Forget the kid, what kind of dentist cancels an appointment to sleep in?" Harper questions.

"I know I should be upset by this massive security breach, but you wigging out over a ten-year-old is kinda fun to watch" Douglas laughs and Harper joins in.

"OK, it's time for you to go" Chase pushes Aj out "oh Chase calm down" Harper walks over to them "listen to her, Chase, or she won't ask you bowling next week" Aj says, Harper smirk.

"can we keep him!?" Harper ask "what!? No! I'm changing all the passwords so this doesn't happen again. Goodbye, AJ" Chase says.

"Fine, I'll go. But just so you know, I have a photographic memory which means the schedule's up here too" Aj says "Oh! That trick never fails!" Harper says proudly.

"Oh, yeah? Then what am I doing tomorrow night?" Chase ask "Same thing you do every Saturday night. Nothing" Aj says the wall closes.

"well, he missed that one!" Chase winks with a flirty smile at Harper "Haha no he didn't!" Harper smiles sarcastically, and Chase's smirk fades.

Chase and Douglas exit the HyperLift.

"So I've upgraded the entire Mission Command security system. No need to remember passwords anymore because I installed optical retina scans at every point of entry. There is absolutely no way that kid is getting back in here!" Chase tells Douglas.

"That'll show 'em!" AJ says Sitting at the counter, Douglas and Chase give a shout "That's a sick weapons area you got behind the rock wall. I can see why you'd want to keep people out of it" Aj says.

Harper exits the HyperLift "Oh yey AJ! You're back!!" Harper says excitedly "No, he's on his way out!" Chase says.

"No I'm not!" AJ says "Yes You are!" Chase says "No he's not!" Harper says "Harp, which side are you!?" Chase says "On the same side as I'm always on, Mine!" Harper smiles.

"You know, if the smartest man in the world is in charge of security and that kid got past it, doesn't that make him the smartest man in the world?" Douglas laughs, Chase chuckles.

"Yeah, well, I mean, you created me so technically that would make it your failure" Chase smiles "Ooh! How about that!" Harper says "Get out of here, kid!" Douglas says pushing AJ.

"Hold on. I came back to offer you a proposition. You said this place is
only for members of the Elite Force. But I know a lot about you guys and I think I can be an asset, so I want to join the team" AJ says.

"Ha! You? Sorry, kid, I don't think they make mission suits in an extra small" Chase says "Yours is extra...""Just the pants!" Chase says irritably interrupting Douglas.

"Look, I may only be ten, but I'm good with computers, I know every street in this city, and, well, it's glaringly obvious that you need help with the security system. I mean, retina scans? Why not just leave a key under the mat?" AJ says, Harper laughs "Isn't he amazing!?" Harper says, Chase sighs.

"you have to admit he's remarkably smart and just wants to help us,obviously he admires what we do and the technology we have he's not a threat, if he stays here with our supervision it won't be a problem, let him stay" Harper says.

"You should do what she sayin' Chase, you know what they say, happy girlfriend, happy life!" AJ smiles Harper agrees with him, Chase glares at AJ.

"He hacked into mission command more than once,and erased the security logs and if we lost any important information because of him!!" Chase says.

"He was just protecting himself cuz we didn't know about him, and it's not his fault that your security system is weak" Harper says, Chase tilts his head.

"Chase he's just a kid!" Harper says "Exactly, this is not a place for a kid!" Chase says.

"But, He's does have a point. It would be good to have a pair of fresh eyes around here pointing out our weaknesses, making us up our game" Douglas says.

"Didn't you just realize we already have someone around here who does that!" Chase points at Harper "yeah, but it's always nice to have extra support" Harper says.

"No! We do not need this kid on the team" Chase says "I think you do. And to prove it, let's make a deal. If I get back in here, I'm on the team" AJ says.

"Great I'll leave the door open for you!" Harper says "Harper!" Chase says firmly "okay" Harper says.

"so what do you say!?" AJ holds out his hand "Fine, deal" Chase shake his hand "Your hands are sweaty. Nervous?" AJ says "No! They're naturally clammy" Chase says.

Chase, Harper, and Douglas are at the console in the corner of Mission Command, enjoying macaroons.

"Mmm! You were right about these macaroons. They are great" Chase says.

"Yeah they're good but they're too sweet for me" Harper says "maybe you're too bitter" Douglas says "yeah maybe" Harper smiles sarcastically.

"All right, last but not least, our online calendar is all secure. It'd take about two years of decoding for any outsider to even see when my birthday is" Chase smiles.

"June 1st?" Douglas ask "August 5th. But close, Dad." Chase says.

"Sorry but I have a lot of birthdays to remember there's yours and your brothers' and Harper's" Douglas says.

"wait you told him your birthday and you didn't tell me!?" Chase says "Uh I didn't tell him" Harper says "Indeed, I remember seeing it in Krane's calendar once" Douglas says, Chase frowns.

"yeah he was a monster at everything else but he knew how to make a good cake" Harper says frustrated, Douglas agrees.

"Well, twenty-four hours and no AJ. I successfully locked him out! No one makes a fool of Chase Davenport and gets away with it! No one!" Chase says, walking to the other console and starts messing with it.

"Hey! What are you doing?" Douglas says "Disarming the security system I worked so hard to perfect" Chase says "Wait, why!?" Harper says.

"I don't know! My mind is telling me to do it even though I don't want to. Also, I'm proud to announce that I am the dumbest man in the world!" Chase gasps and cover his mouth.

The rock door opens revealing AJ holding the tablet and laughing "AJ! What'd you do?" Douglas ask "I re-programmed Chase's bionic chip so I could control it" AJ says.

"you what?" Chase says "That's right. I didn't have to break into Mission Command. I broke into you" AJ laughs.

"wow!! It's official I love this kid!" Harper smiles proudly.

Still in mission command, Chase is clapping.

"I'm really impressed that you tapped into my chip. You are so much smarter than I am. Stop making me say things! And stop making me clap!" Chase says angry "Fine!" AJ says his tablet beeps.

Chase starts a dance "Oh I love that, show me how you do it!?" Harper says Douglas laughs "Don't encourage him! This is a major security breach!" Chase says.

"Your chip isn't encrypted right?" Harper says "it's natively encrypted!" Chase says "that's where your big security flaw is Chase" AJ says.

"I customized the encryption on my chip" Harper says "Yeah I tried to hack yours and it's almost impossible you did a great job, impeccable encryption is very impressive" AJ says.

"aw thanks. I say the same about your work hacking Chase's chip" Harper smiles "You want to stop getting along so well!!" Chase says.

"All right, fine. Fun's over. AJ, give me the tablet" Douglas says,the tablet goes flying and sticks to Chase, along with other metal objects.

"Ow! Douglas, what's going on?" Chase says "When AJ tapped into your chip, he must've caused a glitch" Douglas says, Harper's watch and cell phone stick to Chase.

"well boy this is what I call a rookie mistake but we'll work on it relax"
Harper clicks her tongue at Aj with a smug smile as she takes off her watch, Chase shakes his head.

"Your Magnetism App has gone haywire. Oh no. It's a heavy bracelet day" Douglas gets pulled in by app and stuck "this is why kids shouldn't play with technology" AJ says.

Chase is standing in the middle of the room with several metal objects taped to him.

"Well, this is unpleasant" Chase says "Kinda wish some of that metal would've covered his mouth" Douglas says "Got anymore bracelets?" AJ says.

"Just do something!" Chase says "You can't turn it off remotely!" Harper says "Every time I try to do this the magnet gets stronger" Douglas says, one more piece of good metal up to Chase "I hadn't noticed" Chase says.

"Can't you use your force field?" AJ says "No! The glitch is overriding everything. I can't use any of my abilities" Chase says.

"But I can!" Harper creates a force field around him "Great this will slow down the magnetic force" Douglas says "wait, but this will not also accumulate it making it stronger?" AJ says.

"possibly, so the heavy things on the dresser will take whoever or whatever is in the way!" Harper says, they hear Rumbling.

"Oh, no! This is the worst room to be in. Donnie built it out of reinforced steel. We have to get you upstairs now! Lets go!" Douglas says, They take the HyperLift up to the living room.

"What's going on?" Kaz ask "And who's the kid?" Bree ask "AJ. He lives downstairs. He tapped into Chase's chip with his tablet and it's causing his magnetism app to glitch. Tragic but hysterical" Douglas says.

"Or maybe just hysterical" Kaz says a piece of metal flies and hits Kaz's arm "Ow! Was it the magnetism?" Kaz ask "no that was all me!" Harper smiles.

"I have to find a way to fix his glitch remotely" Douglas says "But when I break force field every metal object in this room is gonna go flying toward Chase" Harper says

"I'm not hearing a problem" Bree says "When she disable the force field, I need you guys to use your powers to protect Chase from being hit by all the heavy objects" Douglas says.

"Yeah, we can't do that" Skylar says "What!?" Harper says "Why not?" Douglas ask "Oh, see, we're having this contest...guys vs. girls, to see who can go the longest without using their powers for trivial things" Kaz says.

"Saving my life is not a trivial thing!" Chase says angry "I don't know. Should we put it to a vote?" Oliver says "There's nothing to vote for!!" Harper says angrily.

"Just put your challenge on hold. I need you guys to buy me some time so I can try to fix the glitch" Douglas says "Fine" they all say.

"okay here we Go!" Harper disable the force field they hear rumbling "Watch out! The table!" Bree super speed in front of the table, everyone starts using their powers to defend Chase from the pieces of metal.

"Hurry! We can't keep this up forever!" Kaz says "Oh, no, it's amping up. His magnetism app is gonna rip the framework of the room right out of the walls!" Douglas says.

"Wait a second. Can't his capsule reset his operating system and bring his magnetism app back to its original state?" AJ says "That's it!!" Harper says
"Yes, yes it can" Douglas says impressed.

"Hurry, the whole room is going to implode!" Skylar says "Protect Chase. I'll use my super strength to bring his capsule down here" Oliver says "Wait! I'll help you!" Bree says.

She and Oliver bring Chase's capsule downstairs "Got it!" Bree says.

Chase goes to the capsule carrying all the weight of the metals glued to his body "Okay now reset the chip!" Harper and Douglas go to a panel in the capsule.

"There. That... should... do it!" Douglas says, All metals unglued from Chase's "It worked!" Harper says, All cheer.

"you alright?" Skylar ask, Harper walks over to Chase and hugs him "Yeah, I think so. But my back is killing me" Chase says putting his hand to his back.

Harper kiss his cheek and starts running her hand down his back "Sorry to hear it. Contest back on!" Kaz says Skylar, Bree and Oliver celebrate they leave.

Chase and Harper are in mission command,Harper hears something and looks at Chase with a slight smile he looks at her seriously.

"I know you're here" Chase says, AJ comes out from behind the table "Hi guys" AJ says "Hey AJ!" Harper says.

"What's the matter? Couldn't kill me the first time? Came back to finish the job?" Chase says "No. I wanted to say I'm sorry. I was just trying to show you what I could do, I didn't mean for all that to happen" AJ says.

"Yeah, well, that's the reason I didn't want you around here in the first place" Chase says "We know you like it, and that you're capable of a lot but it's dangerous, even for the most experienced person" Harper says.

"I know. And I promise I won't come back. It's obvious I'm not ready to be
a part of the team" AJ says and starts to leave upset.

"Aw!" Harper says pityingly to Chase taking his arm, Chase sighs "Wait" Chase says, AJ stops, Harper smiles and the two go to AJ.

"You getting in here, tapping into my chip, it's pretty impressive. And not just for a ten-year-old" Chase says "Really?" AJ says.

"Yeah. You just think you know a little bit more than you actually do. And I can kinda, barely, not really relate to that" Chase smiles.

"Honestly so do I, but the best people are like that and don't believe anyone who tells you otherwise" Harper says "they're probably just jealous" Chase says "Exactly!" Harper says.

"So are you saying I'm a part of the team?" AJ ask, Chase Laughs "No! But if you wanted to come by, you know, occasionally... I won't keep you out" Chase says, Harper smiles to him.

"Thanks, But for what it's worth...You
wouldn't be able to anyway" AJ says and he leaves, Harper laughs proudly.

"You really liked that kid didn't you?" Chase says "yeah! He reminds me of me when I was ten, but I was more annoying and knew how to throw knives!" Harper says, Chase frowns with a smile.
