In the penthouse room

Everyone is getting ready for the mission

"Hey Bree have you seen Chase? I tried texting him but he's not responding, maybe it's my phone" Harper says holdingup her phone.

"No, maybe he's with the guys" Bree says, Oliver and Skylar walks downstairs "Kaz'll be right down" Oliver says.

"Where's Chase?" Bree ask "No idea" Oliver says "There's a mission alert and he's not here rushing us? Something's wrong!" Harper says.

"Yeah, That's weird. He's always the first one here for missions. and the only reason he would be late is standing here by my side so" Bree points at Harper, who smiles proudly.

"I'll call him real quick" Bree calls him more goes in the voicemail

"Greetings. You've reached Chase, the smartest man in the world. I'm not here, but if you'd like to leave a message for Chase, the smartest man in the world, do it at the beep. And if you didn't know that by now, you are definitely not the smartest man in the world" Chase's voicemail hangs up.

"Well, at least he shortened it" Bree says "It doesn't matter, The first second is already annoying just because he uses the word "Greetings"" Harper says.

"So,What are we gonna do? We can't go on our first mission without our leader" Oliver says "There's no time to wait. We have to get to the Centium City arch. The lglass floor on the observation desk is cracking, and tourists are trapped. We need to get there now" Skylar says.

"She's right" Bree says "I'm sure as soon as possible Chase will catch up with us there" Harper says "Kaz, let's go!" Bree says.

Kaz comes down the stairs with A Rock music playing "Elite Force!" Kaz hums with a high-pitched voice.

"What was that?' Bree ask "It's our first official mission. When we show up, people need to know we're there" Kaz says the Power chord plays "Elite Force!" Kaz hums again.

"I want people to feel safe when we arrive, May they feel that the heroes have arrived, Not that they feel that the rock clown circus has come to their aid!" Harper says.

"I don't care I'm taking this with me anyway, you'll feel it when the time comes right Bree?" Kaz says "Yeah, we're not doing that" Bree says.

A while later Chase and Perry leave the HyperLift.

"Man, the hyperlift took forever to fix. Why'd you shoot it a second time?" Chase ask "Why'd you duck a second time?" Perry says.

Bree, Oliver, Kaz and Skylar enter "What's going on?" Chase ask "We just got back from the mission" Bree says "You went without me?" Chase says "We had to. Where were you?" Bree ask.

Harper comes in drinking a bottle of water "Perry and I were stuck downstairs" Chase says "What is she doing here? Sorry. I didn't mean to say it like that. What is it doing here?" Bree says.

Harper walks over and stares at Perry, Perry stares back as if the two are about to argue, Harper nods her head up "Sup!" Harper says "Sup!" Perry does the same and Harper keeps walking.

"Chase, this must be your mom. The resemblance is uncanny" Kaz says.

"Please. If my kid came out looking like that, I'd have put the robot parts on the outside" Perry says "Well, I'm Oliver, and this is Kaz" Oliver says "Glen and Paul. Got it" Perry says

"I'm Skylar" Skylar says "I know who
you are. Donny told me that the robots would be teaming with the superheroes. I can't believe I'm in the presence of a real heroine" Perry says.

"Wow you're saying I'm not a heroine! I'd break into confidential government files to clear your criminal record, you're going to say that's not a hero thing!" Harper says "uh yeah, hello You never acted that impressed around me too"
Bree says.

"Uh, that's 'cause she's a comic book hero come to life, and you're a manmade dolly. And you're just a criminal that the government wiped out because someone paid them to do it" Perry says.

"I'll remember this when someone needs to cover up a bank robbery...again" Harper says.

"Can we please get back to the mission? How bad was it?" Chase ask "Actually, it was a complete success" Oliver says.

"Yeah. Skylar had a really great idea and stepped up as mission leader" Bree says "Her?" Chase ask "Yes, me. Who'd you think it was gonna be, Oliver? No offense" Skylar says.

"Yeah, she had me use my fire ability to seal the cracks on the floor" Kaz says "Then I used my super strength to keep the floor stable, while Skylar, Harper and Bree rushed everyone to safety" Oliver says.

"And everyone made it out alive?" Chase says "Would we say the mission was a complete success if not?" Harper says.

"But, one guy twisted his ankle" Kaz says "That's okay. I was able to walk it off" Oliver says.

"I thought you guys did great out there. You should be proud" Skylar says "Thanks, but we should really be proud of you, mission leader" Oliver says "Hey, mission leader!" Bree says.

Everyone goes upstairs thanking Skylar and calling her the mission leader except Harper.

"Yeah, they really needed you" Perry laughs "Terry piss off!" Harper says.

"And you stop it! I'm giving you notice!" Harper tells Chase "stop what?" Chase says "I know that look you're going to start freaking out about it pretty soon.." Harper says "no, I'm cool" Chase says.

Harper looks him right in the face "no you're not" Harper says "Okay when did you start reading me like that!?" Chase ask.

"Oh you know I've seen you freak out about things for a year, so I learned to
notice the signs, you know depending on the case it gives me advantages of running before you explode" Harper laughs.

"there's no way she could have been a better leader than me!" Chase says, Harper is silent.

"Oh my god was she a better leader than me!?" Chase asks worriedly "no... she wasn't better than you but she wasn't bad either!" Harper says "what are you saying!? You.." Chase says.

"Did you follow her orders!?" Chase ask "no...I mean I kind of had to so...yeah" Harper says, Chase gasps "but I thought about you the whole time!" Harper says trying to lighten the situation.

"Unbelievable Harp!" Chase says "Stop, I only did what was relevant to the mission I don't see that as following orders" Harper says.

"Sure, because the only leader you'll follow is me! Since I am the mission leader" Chase says, Harper gives a slight laugh to herself.

"what's so funny?" Chase says "nothing, I mean you're the leader of the team but I don't take orders from you, I never have" Harper says.

"Of course you did!" Chase says "Chase, stop and think when I followed or when you gave me an order on a mission!?" Harper says "Chase thinks "Usually you already know what needs to be done...but.." Chase says "Exactly, I don't follow a leader, I am my own leader!" Harper says.

"Oh yeah?" Chase says "Exactly, I'm the only person you've never bossed!" Harper realizes, Chase shakes his head with a light chuckle.

"Are you diverting me from the subject so I don't freak out about that thing whit Skylar?" Chase aks "Is it that obvious?" Harper ask, Chase smiles "Did it work?" Harper smiles "Yeah kinda!" Chase says.

"great! mission accomplished, oh see? I'm the leader! And I never fail a mission!" Harper smiles "You're amazing" Chase says kissing her cheek.

"but I'm the leader!" Chase says "not mine!" Harper says "for now!" Chase smirk and leaves "What do you mean by that!?" Harper says but he's already gone.

Harper is in the kitchen and sees Chase and Skylar walk in, Chase looks annoyed.

"Okay. Look, I know you're new, to this team and Earth. So I'm gonna let this one slide. But around here, I'm mission leader!" Chase says.

"I wasn't trying to step on your toes" Skylar says "Yeah, well, you couldn't, because my toes would be way out ahead of you... leading!" Chase says, Harper rolls her eyes and keep listening

"The team needed me. And I'm sorry, but if they need me again, then I'm going to lead them again" Skylar says "Stick it to him, sister. About time someone showed these robots who's boss" Perry says.

"You know what, Perry? You're the reason this whole thing happened. Now go pack your stuff and get out!" Chase says "All right. I'll go. Guess I can stay with the one friend that will never leave me. Loneliness" Perry says upset, Skylar and Terry leave.

Harper faces Chase and he looks at her "Chase, you are taking this too far!" Harper says "She doesn't have the right to take my post like that" Chase says.

"she does, when it comes to saving people we all have the right to step up and do what's right! Everyone's safety and the mission objective comes before anything else, you should more than anyone know that!" Harper says, Chase remains silent.

"Chase if you want to be a leader! You need to start to understand what a leader really is, It's not only lead, a leader has the ethics, maturity and the responsibility to work with a team, not in ahead of the team not behind it but WITH it!!" Harper says firmly, Chase sighs.

"we're not kids that need instructions anymore, So stop acting like it!" Harper says, Chase sighs "I've always been the leader" Chase says.

"Look, I'm just trying to make you see" Harper puts her hand on his face "You're so much more than that" Harper smiles and leaves.

Kaz was standing in the doorway "wow! Does she always lecture you like that!?" Kaz laughs, Chase glares at him "Not gonna lie I loved seeing that!" Kaz laughs.

They get a mission alert, Chase locks Skylar in the commando mission, and everyone except her arrives at the mission location.

"Okay it's here!" Harper says "Keep going. We'll get the others. Okay, guys, this is it" Bree says

Kaz plays Rock music "No!" Bree says "There's smoke everywhere" Oliver says.

"All right, listen up. The truck crumbled the wall, blocking the other exit. The only way to get people out is to bring them back through the smoke" Bree says.

Chase arrives "I'm here" Chase says "Where's Skylar?" Oliver ask.

"I don't know. I tried calling her, but
she didn't respond. I couldn't wait around all day, 'cause I've got a team to lead" Chase smile.

"What did you do!?" Harper says quietly "nothing, why do you think I did something?" Chase says "Because I know you did something!" Harper says.

"Let's not talk about that right now!" Chase says "sure cuz "you got a team to lead"" Harper mocks him.

"Guys, the smoke is getting thicker. If we don't put it out soon, this whole tunnel's gonna be a toxic cloud" Bree says.

"Okay, I'll do a scan to locate the people who are trapped. Oliver, use your cryo blast to extinguish the fire. Bree, use your super speed to form a cyclone to clear the smoke. Kaz and Harper You two go there and evacuate people. Any questions?" Chase says.

"Yeah. Do you think I should try calling Skylar? She might not be answering 'cause it's you" Oliver says "Just go!!" Chase says.

They save everyone and gather.

"Okay, that's everyone" Bree says "Great work, team. We got everybody out in a safe and timely fashion. And while that should be reward enough, let me throw this little cherry on top. Thank you" Chase say excited.

"No worries" Oliver says "Cool" Kaz says both not very excited "That's it? No "Thank you, Chase, for your brilliant leadership"?" Chase says.

"you were amazing baby" Harper says "You're the best" Oliver says "Thank you very much" Kaz says, everyone not very enthusiastic.

"Hey, Chase is a great leader. Okay, he's worked long and hard at it" Bree says "Thank you" Chase says "It's not his fault that Skylar just rolled out of bed and became a great one immediately" Bree says "Okay, you know what? I'm taking back my cherry" Chase says angry.

Loud rumbling "The ceiling's cracking" Bree says "We have to get out of here now!" Harper says "This whole place is gonna come down." Chase says "Wait" Oliver says he hear footsteps echoing.

"There's still people in there." Oliver says "I'll get them." Chase says.

He approaches and Skylar and Perry leave "Skylar? How did you get out... I mean... Where were you?" Chase says "We were stuck in mission command. We had to escape through the underground tunnels" Skylar says.

"Well, what's she doing here?" Chase ask "Skylar and I are besties now. Deal with it" Perry says "Oh my, Skylar I feel so sorry for you" Harper says.

"The tunnel's coming down!" Bree says "Watch out!" Harper says the tunnel collapses creating a barrier between Chase, Skylar and Perry and the rest of the team.

Bree, Harper, Kaz and Oliver are on one side of the wreckage, and come up with a plan.

"they're on the other side, they're fine, not crushed at least" Harper says he uses the special goggles to see through the wreckagem

"Can you guys hear me? We have to get them outta there" Kaz says "How? The people that tell us how to do that are both in there" Oliver says.

"Don't you think for yourself?" Harper says "uh...I do, right Kaz?" Oliver says.

"We are an elite force. We can figure it out ourselves" Bree says "Right. We just have to think. What would Chase or Skylar do?" Kaz says.

"Well, I know one of them would be beautiful" Oliver smiles "I'm starting to wish that you were stuck in there, too" Bree says.

"He's not wrong tho" Harper smirk, Oliver and she frown at each other.

"Harper you can geo-leap over there and get them out right?" Bree says "I think it's a learning opportunity for them to spend more time there" Harper says.

"are you serious?" Bree says "Oh come on! these two also need to learn to fend for themselves this team needs to be more flexible!" Harper says.

"Seriously, you're going to play teacher at a time like this!" Kaz says "I trust you guys! And worst case scenario I'll get you out of here in seconds" Harper says.

"You're crazy!" Oliver says "She's right we need to know how to work as a team leading the operation together!" Bree says.

On the other side of the wreckagem

"I don't understand you said Harper can geo-leap" Skylar says "she can that's how she rescued everyone else" Chase says.

"so why hasn't she saved us yet?" Skylar says, Chase sighs realizing

"Oh this is her way of teaching me a lesson, she wants me to apologize for what I did and deal with it..." Chase says.

"She has a very radical way of making you do things" Skylar says "yeah you have no idea" Chase says.

"Or she wants to get rid of her lying boyfriend without raising suspicions" Perry says "of course not, she's only doing it because she knows if something gets out of hand she'll save us in seconds! She's crazy but she always has everything under control" Chase says.

"How are you sure that's what she's thinking?" Skylar says "I...I don't know...I just...know...I know her" Chase says.

"I don't doubt it, that girl is total crazy!" Perry says "Hey! She's my crazy girl!" Chase says irritably.

On the other side of the wreckage.

"Are you really going to go through with it?" Kaz says "You don't trust yourselves? You guys are smart go for it!" Harper says as she watches the wreckage in case she needs to spring into action.

"Okay, We have to figure out a way to remove one of those giant rocks so they can climb through." Kaz says "But if we remove the wrong one, the entire tunnel will collapse" Oliver says.

"Wait a second. This is just like your Topple the Tower game" Bree says "Yeah, except when we play, almost no one dies" Oliver says.

"Okay, but with all of your experience, you should have an advantage at picking the right rock" Bree says, Harper frowns and looks at the wreckage.

"You're right. This can work. That's genius, Bree" Kaz says "Genius? I told you to move a rock. Settle down." Bree says "yeah okay, I'm already regretting this whole learning opportunity thing" Harper says.

"No, not that one. The one next to it" Oliver says "Oliver, I am a pro at this. I'm pretty sure it's that one" Kaz says.

"Take the one next to this one" Harper says "you said you would leave it with us!" Kaz says "up to a point where it's not as dangerous!" Harper says.

"Look it's funny when you lecture Chase but when you try to lecture us it's just so annoying!" Kaz says "Harper has this weird need to mother everyone so get used to it!" Bree says.

"I'm not a mother!...Oliver stop biting your nails!" Harper slaps his hand "I'm nervous!" Oliver says.

"Okay just for the record I removed the rock and nothing came down, Mom was right!" Kaz smiles "don't you dare start calling me like that!" Harper says rritably.

Kaz continues to make his way through the wreckage.

Kaz clears the way for Chase, Skylar and Perry to get out of the wreckage.

"Hey, you never said how you got stuck in mission command" Bree says to Skylar "Uh, I don't know. I guess the hyperlift just broke" Skylar says.

"Again?" Bree aks "Yeah. We really need to get that fixed" Skylar says.

"You just got lucky. If Skylar won't snitch, your secret's safe with me. For now" Perry winks to Chase threatening him Harper approaches "Terry get off, or do you want me to spill your secrets huh?" Harper says, Perry glares at her and leaves.

"Hey, why didn't you say anything?" Chase ask Skylar "Because I get it. When I lost my powers, I lost my identity. I wouldn't wish that feeling on anyone" Skylar says "Thank you" Chase says, Skylar leaves.

Harper is leaning against a car watching him "I know exactly what you're going to say so don't worry!" Chase says, Harper laughs "What am I going to say!?" Harper ask.

"You were going to stare at me with those cute little eyes of yours until I said you were right, I know you knew I was going to act on impulse and do something stupid, and that's why you purposely left me there to apologize to Skylar, and to reflect on everything you said to me and learn my lesson" Chase says.

"Wow! when did you learn to read me like that?" Harper smiles "By the way don't ever do that again are you crazy?" Chase says, Harper thinks.

"you took it too far too!" Chase says, Harper is silent "You realize what could have happened, I know you had the confidence that you could save us if something went wrong but even so, it was very reckless!" Chase says "Okay go ahead" Harper says.

"look, you don't need to take care of everyone all the time either, you can be independent, but you do have a need to teach others and take care of them, and prepare them for everything, but you take it too hard sometimes, you don't need to control everything, sometimes lessons like that have to be learned through mistakes in a natural way" Chase says.

"I'm sorry, I was just trying to help you and the rest of the team but you're right I took it too far, I could have fixed it but I didn't, in fact it was reckless" Harper says, Chase sighs "I know, it's okay!" Chase says.

"Geez what is happening to us? When did we become...a couple!?" Harper ask "what?" Chase says "yeah i mean, we argue, we know each other better than ourselves, we lecture each other..." Harper says, Chase thinks.

"Oh my god we're a couple!!" Chase smiles in surprise "Yeah I think so!" Harper laughs, Chase laughs too.

"All right, let's get outta here" Bree says, Chase takes Harper's hand and they walk away.

"Hey. You know what? We're two for two on missions. You know what that calls for" Kaz says he plays Rock music "I said no!" Bree says.

Everyone goes back to the penthouse.

"Hey, so what did you guys think of your first missions?" Bree ask "I was just happy to be out there again. Being a hero is what I was born to do" Skylar says.

"And what I was implanted with a chip by an egotistical millionaire to do" Bree says "Well I was raised to be a villain actually, but I'm a rebel!" Harper says.

"We just touched a space rock" Kaz says "Superheroes" he and Oliver says.

Chase comes down the stairs "Everyone, I have an announcement to make. I've decided to take on a new role. Team member" Chase says "really?" Harper ask "yeah!" Chase says.

"Awesome. Now Bree can be leader" Kaz says "Oh, yeah!" Bree says "Or Kaz. Or me." Oliver says "No one's gonna be leader!" Chase says.

"Because... any one of us can step up and take control when needed. You all proved that today" Chase says "I'm proud of you sweetheart" Harper kiss his cheek.

"Wow, Chase, I'm really impressed" Bree says, Perry sits next to them.

"Why are you still here?" Bree says "I'm gonna let Chase answer that" Perry says "Uh, I told Perry that I wanted her to stay" Chase says "What?" Bree says.

"yeah well, Honestly we know she's going to show up here anyway tho!" Harper says.

"Yeah, um, by helping Skylar through the tunnels, she proved that she could be a valuable support member for the team, so I talked to Mr. Davenport, and he set her up with an apartment...Right next door" Chase says.

Perry gets up and starts pulling out an armchair "What are you doing?" Bree ask "My pad ain't gonna furnish itself" Perry says "I've given up trying to get rid of that woman! Come on let's help her!" Harper stands up.
