At the Mighty Force command center.

Adam and Leo are sitting at one of the consoles. Leo has a tablet in his hands.

- "Okay, a hobby?" Leo thinks, resting his hand on his chin.

- "Watching bad movies" Adam says. Leo glares at him.

- "You're not helping make me look cool" he says annoyed. Adam shrugs.

- "Dude you're bionic, I think that's already a big deal...even if it's less than half of you" he says, Leo rolls his eyes.

Harper and Chase walk in and see the two focused on the tablet

- "Hey, what are you up to?" Chase asks sitting in the main chair of the center.

- "We're creating a profile for Leo on a dating app." Adam pats Leo on the back.

- "Wow! Are you that desperate?" Harper says, standing behind Chase's chair and ruffling his hair.

- "I'm not desperate. It's just that I saw the advertisement about this App and I was tempted to try it" Leo explains, getting up and going to them

- "Seriously. If they do what they promise. They work with statistics and personalized selections. It's like love on demand." He explains.

- "It's what the ad says" Leo shows the tablet to the couple.

- "Leo, these apps are a big lie. Love doesn't work with statistics" Chase shakes his head "And look, it's me talking"

- "Yeah but as a newly single guy I want to have options" Leo explains.

- "I think this is a waste of time. Maybe what you should do is wait and the right girl will come along for you" Harper says laying her head on Chase's head.

Chase smirks and holds his girlfriend's arms around his neck.

- "Oh as if I would believe that the perfect girl would knock on my door just like that" Leo shooks his head.

- "It was like that for me." Chase pulls Harper's face close to his. She wrinkles her nose.

- "For me too" Adam points to himself "Except I slammed the door in her face right after" he shrugs.

Leo rolls his eyes impatiently, turning off the tablet.

- "I think you're overthinking it" Harper says.

- "I'm not sure, is it just too hard to find a girl who is cool, funny, smart, badass..."Leo walks more to the center of the room "Maybe tall, sexy, blue ocean eyes, soft perfect skin..." he sighs dreamily.

The three Bionics in the room look around with confused frowns on their faces.

- "Yeah. Maybe a specific request like that is only on request Indeed" Harper says sarcastically and Leo glares at her annoyed.

- "Let me dream at least" He retorts.

- "Yeah. Why don't you get back to work while you wait for your perfect girl to fall from the sky" Chase winks playfully.

Douglas walks in with a worried look and an unusual notification appears on the screen.

- "Chase better check this out" Douglas points to the monitor.

- "What is this?" Harper asks.

- "I don't know, Douglas map the location!" Chase orders.

- "Doing it." Douglas clicks on the cyber desk. "A variation on the universal fabric? A portal detected at the location!» Douglas looks at them confused.

- "What!?" Chase says.

- "Oh it could be Doctor Strange!" Adam says making Doctor Strange signs.

- "Sure." Chase says sarcastically.

- "There are people there" Harper says.

- "I don't like this, come on." Chase says.

- "Right behind you." Harper says.
The two leave.

After receiving the alert, Harper and Chase approach the location where the signal was detected. An alleyway, in a small town not far away.

They silently approach the alley.

- "The signal came from here. Weird, Douglas said it was variation on the universal fabric. You know this would be the event of the century since your father built that machine that Leo insists took him to another universe, and the sign of it sends us into a dead end?" Harper frowns "I'm not going to lie.It's kind of disappointing"

- "It is but if it really is a variation on the universal fabric, the consequences could be catastrophic on a level beyond our comprehension" Chase looks around, no sign of anyone around.

Suddenly they hear voices. Chase puts his arm in front of Harper stopping her in her tracks.

- "Someone's here." He whispers distressedly and his gaze shifts to a nearby dumpster as Harper pays attention to the voices.

- "Get down," Chase whispers and pulls her down behind the dumpster with him. They look through a gap between the dumpster and the wall, sighting two people.

- "Who are they?" Harper whispers close to Chase's face which glaces at her briefly keeping the serious look.

They first see a girl pacing impatiently. She was tall, with long dark hair, delicate white skin and radiant blue eyes.

- "I don't know" Chase whispers back and takes the glasses he kept in a metal case on his waist and puts them on.

He uses the vision of the glasses to zoom in and scan the girl, in an attempt to identify who or what she is in the Mighty Med database.

- "Did you got something?" Harper asks "Nothing yet." Chase says.

Harper then moves away a little, having a view of the other side of the dumpster and sees a man.

He looked just like the girl. Tall, brown hair and blue eyes

- "This asshole can't be far away." Maddie says as she and Mon-El walked around a corner.

Chase pulls Harper closer to him to get out of the girl's field of vision.

"Come on, damn it. I can't believe I was this easy distracted." Maddie sighed.

- "Anyone in your situation would have reacted the same." Mon-El put his hand on her shoulder.

- "Okay they're definitely not human" Chase whispers. Harper nods in understanding.

- "It's enough to make them our responsibility." She presses her lips together as Chase takes a deep breath.

"Wait." Maddie frowns.

"What's wrong?" Mon-El asks.

"I heard his voice. Well Chase's." Maddie says.

Harper and Chase exchange a confused look.

- "She said she knows my voice?" Chase whispers confused. Harper shakes her head frowning.

Maddie looks back at her brother and gestured at him to move out of the way.

Mon-El took a couple steps on the side.

Maddie grabs the dumpster and pulls it back violently, making it crash on the other side of the alleyway behind her.

Harper and Chase crawl back on the ground with jolts of fright.

- "Woah! Fuck!" Chase curses in fright and pulls Harper with him.

- "Shit!" Harper grabs his arm "Oh I didn't see that coming"

The two stand up and look at Maddie, taking in what had just happened.

- "The hell?" Maddie frowns "You're just gonna pretend to be him again?!" She shouts.

Chase ignores the girl's shout and stands up trying to keep calm. Harper stands up with her fists clenched and keeping her frown.

- "Hey, don't worry we came to help, I don't know if you are aware but this is not a safe place to stay" Chase says approaching in distress.

- "Chay, I think she's the reason of that" Harper says sarcastically and Chase glances at her annoyed.

Maddie walks backwards.

- "Don't come closer. I'm warning you." She glares at him. "Surrender yourself. Now!"

- "She's out of her mind." Harper mutters.

- "Look. I understand it may be a lot to take in but you need to come with us." Chase says firmly. He looks around in fear of the local authorities spotting them.

- "No, we are not following you. Who do you think you are? Pretending to be him just to make me stop kicking your ass?" Maddie frowns, angrily. "That's low. Even for you. You're a coward, like every person of your pathetic species."

Chase's eyes widen slightly as he takes a step back, keeping his hand close to the gun at his waist.

- "Geez. What did you do to her?" Harper says confused, Chase glances at her indignantly.

- "Why do you think that I did something?" He shouts. Harper shrugs.

- "Anyway. Who are you!?" Harper asks approaching Maddie.

- "None of your business." Maddie replies. "I may be not be able to read your mind, T'him, but I have no idea who this girl is. And I'm not going to hurt her for no reason. "I have nothing against you, ma'am."

"Ma'am? How old does this girl think I am?" Harper looks down briefly

- "Yeah well, but I have something against you talking to my boyfriend in that tone. And with that I demand to know who you think you are, to do so?" Harper retorts.

"She demands?" Maddie scoffs, amused.

- "No." She shakes her head. "You." She points at Chase. "Are coming with me, that you like it or not."

"Yeah, right" Chase smirk sarcastically.

- "May I ask why you think you can do this?" He raises his eyebrow.

- "You know exactly WHY I can do this." Maddie says. "Now, you have two options. One: you surrender yourself and come me with me. Two: I drag your body out of here." She crosses her arms.

Mon-El looks at his sister with wide eyes.

- "Damn." He mumbles to himself.

Chase clenches his jaw and glances at Harper who is staring intensely at Maddie.

- "You don't want to do this" Chase responds deepening his voice and with a firm look.

- "I do." Maddie glares at him with a smile.

- "Stay back girl." Harper steps forward looking at Maddie angryly threatening her by lighting lightning through her hands.

- "We don't want to hurt you" Chase says.

- "But I do." Maddie replies, her eyes full of hatred.

- "Yeah well..." Harper steps in front of Chase, glaring angrily at Maddie "Me too" she smirks

Maddie doesn't move.

- "Again. I have nothing against you. Step back, before you regret it." She adds.

"Why now looking at her closely do I feel like I've seen her before?" Harper grinds her teeth slightly

- "I'm not afraid of you" she replies firmly.

"Oh my god." Maddie sighs, annoyed.

- "Neither am I." She says, before looking at Chase. "I won't say it again, surrender yourself. Instead of hiding behind your girlfriend like a coward."

While the girls were arguing, Chase's analysis was complete, detecting that Maddie and Mon-El were aliens, of a species not registered in the database.

- "You guys are aliens" he says.

- "Acting like you don't know, won't save you." Maddie frowns. Mon-El walks to his sister and stands by her side. "I told you to stay back." She murmurs to her brother.

- "Yeah, well I'm not letting you alone." Mon-El replies.

- "Look, I'm not who you think I am!" Chase says "Whoever the fuck you think I am"

"Gotcha. Chase doesn't curse." Maddie rolls her eyes.

She gestures to her brother to walk away.

Mon-El sighs and takes a few step backs.

Harper glances at Mon-El

- "What about you? Who are you, and what are you doing messing with the universe fabric?" Harper asks firmly.

- "The what?" Mon-El frowns

- "Don't talk to him. And we're messing with it?" Maddie frowns, angrily. "You're not supposed to be here. You're coming me with." She gets into a fighting stance. "My way."

- "Oh okay enough of this useless talk and let's have a real talk" Harper gets into a fighting stance as well.

Chase clenches his fists and glares at Maddie.

- "Good thing your way is my way too" he says.

- "Finally, something we can agree on." Maddie replies.

She uses her super speed to go around Harper and punch Chase in the face with her super strength, enough to hurt him but without ripping his head off.

Chase's glasses fall to the floor in pieces and he puts his hand on a cut on his eyebrow.

- "Ahg!" He groans.

- "Chase!" Harper says angrily and shoots electrokinesis at Maddie with her super powers.

As Chase recovers and spots Mon-El "She seems to have a great attachment to him" He super speeds up to Mon-El grabbing him by the neck while Harper shoots Maddie.

Maddie does not move due to her impenetrable skin, but her eyes turned red as she sees Chase attacking her brother.

Mon-El frowns and bends Chase's hand away from him, before pushing him towards his sister.

Chase falls to his knees in front of Maddie but before she can reach him, he uses his super speed to dodge and trip her, throwing her to the ground.

Before Maddie gets up, Harper goes to her and uses super strength to pin her to the ground with one hand on her neck and a hateful look in her eyes.

Maddie frowns and grabs Harper throwing her across the alleyway. She turns to Chase, her eyes still shining bright red.

Maddie puts an impenetrable and soundproof shield around Harper. Chase stands up.

-"Chase!!" Harper screams, desperately trying to get out the shield.

Chase super speeds around Maddie to confuse her, Chase after making her dizzy holds her pushing her against the wall.

"Let. Her. Go!!" Chase says irritated.

- "Chase!!" Harper screams struggling to let go.

Maddie kicks him in the stomach. She grabs his arm and slides between his legs, causing him to flip and fall on his back. She moves away from him a little, seeing him groan on the ground.

- "Get away from him!!" Harper shouts. Chase groans and glances at Harper trapped with a desperate look on her face.

- "Don't you ever lay a finger on her again!" He angrily tells Maddie.

Chase slowly composes himself, throwing a hateful look at Maddie.

- "Hurt her and I'll kill you" he says angrily.

- "She's fine." Maddie replies. "I used my telekinesis to break her fall. I don't want to hurt her, but you, asshole... I do." She super speeds towards him and kicks him in the stomach.

Harper sits on the floor with her hand on her head and sees Chase holding his stomach.

- "Ahg! Damn, you're strong!" He leans against the wall.

"Bree's chip is useless for this" he throws his head back in frustration .

- "Be lucky, I'm not fully using my strength because otherwise after that first punch, you would have lost your head." Maddie says.

Chase takes a deep breath and blows the hair off his forehead.

- "Yeah, I'm kind of losing my head already" He says taking the gun from his waist.

- "I didn't want to hurt you but you're not cooperating" he loads the gun.

Maddie frowns. "Shit, it will ricochet on me and hit Mon-El and it will kill him."

She super speeds and takes the gun from his hands.

- "Sorry, I'm taking that." She throws it in the air and uses her heat vision to melt it.

Chase presses his lips together in frustration.

- "Okaaay?" He frowns

- "That was good, Genius!" Harper says sarcastically but Chase can't hear her. He only sees the sarcastic look on her face "She must think I'm really stupid right now."

- "at least I have other tricks up my sleeve" he smirks and super speeds grabbing Maddie's arm and twisting it back pushing her with his foot so she falls.

Maddie, on her knees, uses her super speed to get up and leans forwards with Chase, still holding her.

She throws him forward.

Chase lands on his back and gets an immediate boost to his feet. And with a spin he kicks Maddie in the stomach.

Maddie steps backwards at the kick.

- "Rox, be careful!" Mon-El yells.

- "Shut it!" Maddie chuckles. "Stay there or I'm kicking your ass."

Mon-El rolls his eyes, but does not move.

Maddie super speeds towards him and punches him in the jaw twice, once on each side.

Chase falls to one knee and spits out some blood after biting the tip of his tongue from the punches as he gets up.

And he looks at Maddie again with hatred and super speeds towards her, elbowing her in the face.

Maddie glares at him, without being hurt.

- "Had enough yet?" She asks. "Or you need to feel my rings on your face and my heels in your stomach again?"

- "You're going to alert the authorities. You're going to jail if you keep this up." Chase tries to catch his breath "It's not safe here!"

- "I won't let them come and get hurt." Maddie shakes her head and walked closer to Chase, pinning him against the wall by the collar. "You are so pathetic to take his face to destabilize me."

- "Who are you?!" Chase says holding her wrist tightly with a mix of distress, concern and anger in his eyes.

- "You know who I am." Maddie frowns. "I think. Why isn't he using his strength?" She pushes her forearm harder under his neck.

- "I swear I don't, you Freak!!" Chase says breathlessly.

Maddie pulls back and frowns. Chase gasps for air and holds his own neck.

Maddie looks at him. "You tried to kill J'onn J'onzz, this morning. And my brother just a few minutes ago to make me get out. And now you say that?!"

- "Okay first of all. This morning the only thing I killed was a cockroach in my bathroom. If you had any attachment to it, I'm sorry." Chase replies, swallowing the pain in his neck "And Second. what I did to your brother, it was self defense after you punched me in the face"

Maddie frowns and super speeds to her brother, making the shield around Harper go. She puts the soundproof and impenetrable shield around her brother and herself.

Chase sighs and rushes over to Harper.

- "Harp! Harp! Are you okay?" He holds her face with a worried look

- "Yeah!" She says "Chase, you're hurt" she brushes his hair from his forehead worriedly.

- "I'm fine Darling" Chase hugs her and kisses her forehead.

- "I don't think it's T'him." Maddie tells her brother as she looks at Chase.

- "Who else could it be? He looks like him." Mon-El says.

- "He doesn't have a Martian super strength." Maddie shakes her head.

- "How is that possible?" Mon-El frowns.

- "I don't know. An alter ego?" Maddie replies. "He genuinely seems confused."

- "He's probably playing your head." Mon-El says.

Harper holds Chase's arms as he glances at Maddie and Mon-El talking.

- "What do we do? They are strong, very strong. And they are exposed just like us" She says.

- "We have to take them to the headquarters. They saw us and know we're here. They might turn us in If we let them loose," Chase says worriedly.

- "Who are they?" Harper says. The couple looks at them talking.

- "Uh, I really hope that's not the girl Leo ordered on the app," Chase says. Harper gives him a frown.

- "No." Maddie shakes her head.

- "Rox, what if you're wrong and he's not an alter ego?" Mon-El asks.

- "I'll deal with it." Maddie says.

- "Wait why can't we hear them?" Harper asks.

- "I don't know, this is the most confusing day of my life and I wasn't psychologically prepared for it!" Chase shouts.

- "I'm getting out." Maddie says.

- "Roxana, no." Mon-El frowns

- "I'll be fine." Maddie steps out of the shield, leaving it around her brother.

- "ROX!" Mon-El shouts inside the shield.

Chase helps Harper up and they both take a step back in distress.

- "Do you believe me now or will I have to take more drastic measures?" Chase says holding Harper's hand on his back.

- "I don't know." Maddie sighs. "Who are you?"

Chase takes a step forward "I hope she's not another assassin Bram sent"

- "I'm Chase Davenport. But I have a feeling you already know that," he says suspiciously.

Maddie takes a step back.

- "You're kidding?" She frowns.

- "Do I look like I'm kidding?" He says to Maddie with a firm look "Look, a lot of people in the world want to kill me. But what you want to do so?"

- "What the fuck?" Maddie frowns. "Let me just read your minds. "She reads their minds and her eyes widen. "Shit."

- "Read what? Of who?" Harper frowns in distress and glances at Chase.

Maddie puts the shield around Mon-El down. He walks up to her.

- "I was right. It's not T'him." She says.

- "Oh, Rox." Mon-El frowns, sadly.

Harper and Chase look at each other in confusion.

- "Can someone explain what is happening?!" Chase exclaims.

- "I'm Mon-El and this is my sister, Maddie." Mon-El says. "We were following a white Martian, who travelled into your universe to escape her."

Maddie stays silent. "I hurt Chase. It's not my Chase, but still. I hurt a Chase Davenport. And a version of my Chase is in front of me."

- "A white Martian?" Harper asks.

- "Yeah. It's from our universe." Mon-El explains. "We..." Maddie glares at him. "She just needs to find him and we'll go."

- "That doesn't explain why you tried to kill me?" Chase runs his hand through his hair frownig.

Maddie sighs, still not able to look at him.

- "He took your appearance." Mon-El says.

- "Mine? Why? Does he know me?" Chase asks, taking a step forward, more confident.

- "Is he after us?" Harper asks.

- "No. He's not, don't worry." Maddie shakes her head as she only looks at Harper.

- "So why is he running away from you?" Harper asks "And why did he choose our universe to escape from you?"

- "Because I'm supposed to arrest him." Maddie replies. "And he just chose your universe to escape me. Unless, you've been in this universe before, you can't know what's in it. So, it was just hazard."

- "Oh, how cute. You're playing tag with an alien across the multiverse" Chase sarcastically scoffs "He's dangerous I assume"

- "Of course not. He's super nice that's why I used my super strength on you when I thought you were him." Maddie, sarcastically, says.

Chase nods sarcastically in understanding

- "Sure thing. But you guys can stop messing around because we'll take care of your alien from here" Chase smirks.

- "No." Maddie looks at his eyes. "He's my prisoner. I'm taking him home." She turns around and grabs Mon-El's arm. They start to walk away.

-"Look. We can't let you guys run around with these powers, I don't know in the universe you came from but here, super humans are criminals." Harper says.

- "Yeah, it's not a good idea, you guys go out there just looking for it" Chase approaches. "Come with us, and we can come to an agreement." Chase says.

Maddie takes several step backs.

- "I read your mind. I know how you've been staying under the radar on every mission. I promise, nobody will know we're here." She says. "And if they do, I'll erase their minds. Like you, guys, do."

Chase and Harper look at each other "Damn she really knows everything"

Chase scratches the back of his neck "She reads minds indeed"

- "If you. Read our minds, you know very well you can come with us!" Harper says.

- "You have your feet in my universe so it's our fight too!" Chase says firmly.

- "Oh my god. Why are you SO stubborn in every universe?" Maddie asks, annoyed. "It's my fight, not yours. He's mine."

Harper frowns "Does she know Chase?"

- "I didn't say he's not yours. We just want to help you. We have access to a lot of things and you have nothing. It would be stupid of you not to accept help." Chase insists.

- "Well, guess I'm stupid." Maddie, sarcastically, smiles.

- "Rox..." Mon-El starts.

- "No." Maddie glares at him. "We are not doing that."

Harper crosses her arms

- "Okay then. Come on Chase, let's find the Martian before they do and throw it in their faces later." Harper pats her boyfriend on the shoulder with a sarcastic smile.

- "Harp." Chase rolls his eyes sighing and holds her back.

Maddie scoffs.

- "Please, tell me how you are going to find someone, who you don't know the power of, how they look like, how they act." She crosses her arms.

- "That's easy peasy." Harper says. Chase shooks his head in amusement.

- "Look. You've already messed with the universal fabric of our universe. We just want to help you make sure nothing gets messed up. Because then we're the ones who'll have to clean it up anyway" Chase says.

- "I won't make a mess." Maddie sighs. "I just need to take this son of a bitch and throw him in prison of the rest of his thousands of years of life."

Chase groans impatiently.

- "Why do you insist on not having help? You can trust us!" He insists louder.

- "And I'm the one who's gonna make people notice me?" Maddie smirks.

Chase puts his hands on his hips annoyed "Oh I deserve it. Another one"

- "I'm sorry, Chase. For everything I did. But I can't go with you." Maddie says calmly.

- "Why?" Harper asks crossing her arms and Chase nods.

Maddie sighs.

- "You're very curious people." She says.

- "You read our minds. I think it's fair to ask questions." Harper shrugs.

- "I said that Chase was stubborn in every universe. Why do you think?" Maddie sighs.

Chase looks intently at Maddie's face.

- "Do you know me?" He asks.

- "I used to." Maddie says quietly.

Chase shakes his head and takes a deep breath.

- "What is that supposed to mean?" He asks.

- "You know him from another universe" Harper says thoughtfully.

- "I did." Maddie nods.

- "Okay. So you know I mean to help you" Chase says.

Maddie rolls her eyes.

- "She knows that." Mon-El says. "But she lost him. And going around fighting crime with a version of him, even if it's just for a while. It's not..."

- "Lost him?" Harper asks.

- "Yeah. Whatever. That's not important right now." Maddie shakes her head. "Stop telling them stuff." She slaps her brother upside the head.

- "Ow!" Mon-El frowns. "I'm not the one who pretended to be Chase. Go easy on Me!" Maddie chuckles softly.

- "Well. It's up to you, you have two options: you come with us and you can calmly think about how you will find your Martian. Or you risk ending up in prison and alerting the entire country army to come after you and his brother. Your choice," Harper says.

- "And the government of this universe doesn't go easy" Chase adds.

- "I read your minds remember? I have everything you guys know." Maddie says.

- "So stop arguing with us" Harper says.

- "Rox, come on. If I know anything about Chase it's that he's almost as stubborn as you. He won't give up. It's better if we have him on our side to help us find T'him." Mon-El says softly.

Maddie sighs.

- "I can't..." She looks at her brother.

Harper frowns and Chase looks at her trying to understand the situation.

- "Rox. It will be fine." Mon-El whispers. "We need to find T'him and if they can help us, then we should take their offer."

Maddie sighs.

- "Alright." She says. "We'll follow you to their headquarters."

Chase nods calmly

- "Okay. It will be an honor to work with you." Chase extends his hand to them. Harper nods

Mon-El shakes his hand.

- "Maddie keeps telling me how great of a leader you are in her old universe. Can't wait to see if it's true here too." He smiles.

Maddie sighs. "Thank you, Mon-El. It's too weird for me."

"I think I did something wrong" Chase backs away and scoffs.

- "Good to know I'm well spoken of in all universes" he smirks. Harper rolls her eyes in amusement.

Maddie snickers softly. "He has a Davenport's ego in every universe."

- "Okay. Let's go. We have an alien with your cute nerdy face to find," Harper tells Chase gently patting his face and sliding her hand down his chest as she walks out of the alley.

Chase chuckles and holds her, waving for Maddie and Mon-El to follow them.

- "I'm not leaving your side." Mon-El whispers to his sister.

Maddie nods. The siblings follow the couple, but Maddie is only looking at her thumb ring.

She picks up Chase's broken glasses and uses her heat vision to weld them back together.

- "Chase?" She calls out without looking at his face.

Chase turns to her, keeping a serious look.

"Yes?" He says

- "Here." Maddie hands him his glasses. "Sorry for breaking them. And hurting you."

Chase's gaze softens as he looks the glasses in his hand.

- "Thank you" he smirks briefly and puts his glasses on his face adjusting them with his finger "And don't worry about It. Really"

- "It's the least I could do, given how much I hurt you." Maddie looks down.

- "This?" He points to his face "This is nothing" he chuckles lightly.

- "Okay." Maddie sighs.

Chase and Harper walking through the corners of the city.

- "Adam we are returning and we are taking two allies with us" Chase says into the comm "Give me the location of the aircraft carrier"

- "Copy that. We're flying over the border" Adam replies.

- "We're on our way" Chase replies.

Harper looks at Maddie and notices her distraction looking at the ring.

Maddie takes a deep, silent breath. "Why are you doing this to me, universe? I already lost him... Them. And now, I have to work with them."

- "Are you okay?" Harper asks her with a gentle smile.

- "Yeah." Maddie nods with a small smile.

Harper nods "I need to ask. I know her. I have eidetic memory I never forget a face"

- "Have you been in this universe before?" Harper asks with a curious look.

- "I think I'd remember Chase like that." Maddie, discreetly, points at Chase.

- "No. I think I remember you" Harper replies

- "I remember your face, but that's because your alter ego in my old universe is a popular actress." Maddie says. "And because of a weird dream I had."

Harper stops in her tracks and raises her hand, stopping Maddie.

- "Dream? What kind of dream?" She says "Also an alter ego? I have questions but that's for later"

- "I don't really know. I was sleeping, then your face appeared, and we talked about her life." Maddie shrugs. "It was a dream right?"

- "Were you at the Academy? You wore glasses!" Harper says with a smile

- "Yeah." Maddie frowns with a smile. "I take them off when I'm GreatGirl."

- "Oh Like Superman?" Harper chuckles

- "Yeah." Maddie snickers. "Except that I use my mental manipulation power so nobody I never told my secret identity can recognize me."

- "That's so cool!" Harper says "Which universe did you come from exactly?"

- - "That's a long story." Maddie sighs. "But you had this dream too?"

- "Yes! In a very..." Harper takes a deep breath at the painful memory. "Very complicated part of my life." She sighs.

- "Uh." Maddie frowns.

- "I had this dream at a time when I needed to talk to someone, to open up." Harper nods.

- "I know. It's just in my universe. I read all the books I could find on this new universe I arrived in. And in several old books, there was a legend that when two people have the same dream at the same time, it can only mean two things." Maddie explains.

- "That they are variants, alter egos from different universes." Harper says.

- "Yes, alter egos or if it's someone in the same universe as you, then it's your soul mate." Maddie adds.

- "I read these books too." Harper smirks.

- "So, we are alter egos?" Maddie smiles.

Harper thinks for a few seconds.

- "According to what the theory says, everything leads us to believe that yes." She chuckles.

Chase walking further ahead scoffs. Harper glares at him seriously.

- "What's wrong, Mrs. skepticism?" She asks him annoyed.

- "There's no way SHE is your alter ego." He replies.

Maddie rolls her eyes but doesn't look at him. Harper rolls her eyes as well

- "Why not?" Harper asks

- "Alter Egos as far as I know are two identical people. You are not," He turns looking over his shoulder "and then I am the one who needs glasses."

- "That's a myth, smart-ass." Maddie scoffs as she looks at her hand.

- "Parallel universes were too, and yet you're here, aren't you?" Chase glances at her.

- "They never were a myth and you'd know that if you listened to Leo when you were kids." Maddie replies.

Chase gasps and turns to her.

- "How do you..."

- "She reads minds Chay" Harper interrupts. Chase sighs "Yeah but how much?" He frowns suspiciously.

- "You don't wanna know." Maddie smiles at her brother.

- "You really don't." Mon-El laughs.

Chase frowns as Harper raises her eyebrow, intrigued.

- "Okay now I'm scared" Harper mutters

- "How can I be sure you can't use this against us?" Chase crosses his arms.

- "You can't." Maddie says.

- "That's reassuring." He replies sarcastically

- "I know." Maddie sarcastically smiles, still without looking at him. "This is so fucking weird."

- "So like. Do you read our thoughts right now?" Harper asks

- "No. Only the first time I meet someone to make sure they are not..." Maddie glances at Mon-El, who sighs sadly. "The people who kidnapped me when I was a baby and killed my adoptive mother."

Harper and Chase exchange a pitying look.

- "We're so sorry" Chase says and Harper agrees.

- "It's okay. It's just one more thing going wrong in my life." Maddie sighs. "Can we hurry? T'him is gonna destroy everything and he reads minds. He could have already trapped someone and took their appearance and thoughts."

- "Sure he reads minds too." Chase says frustrated.

- "I don't know if I'm comfortable with her seeing my mind" Harper turns to Chase "Do you have any idea how messy it is in here?" She points to her head.

Chase tilts his head

- "Aw Baby" he puts his hand on her shoulder "You're a mess out here too" he says.

- "Want me to give you a heel kick in the stomach too?" She says annoyed, Chase chuckles stroking her chin.

- "I'm just kidding" he says as they stop walking.

Maddie chuckles softly and Mon-El walks backwards to her.

- "You're okay?" He asks.

- "Nope." Maddie whispers. "My anxiety just keeps raising."

Mon-El frowns sadly and wraps and arm around her shoulders, before kissing the top of her head.

Chase takes a deep breath

- "It's here" he activates a button on a bracelet on his arm and a light turns on around them teleporting them to the aircraft carrier flying over that location.

The teleporter takes them straight to the center of the landing strip.

- "Here we are" Harper says and gently puts her hand on Maddie's shoulder "Let's go"

Maddie and Mon-El follow the couple.

Chase leads them to the Mighty Force building. A group of soldiers pass by them among them Spin and Bob.

- "Hey Captain" Spin waves to Chase who nods back.

- "General" Spin and Bob salute Harper

- "Hey guys" She waves back.

Harper turns to Maddie and Mon-El

- "Welcome to Mighty Force headquarters" she points around "Here you are safe"

- "Oh my god." Maddie looks at the kids. "They are so big."

- "Do you know them too?" Chase asks.

- "They were my students. Until we switched Bob to Adam, because well he was a better fit for Bob." Maddie chuckles. "But I still had Spin."

- "you were a mentor?" Harper asks with a light smile.

- "Yep." Maddie smiles. "I love those kids."

- "They're great" Chase says "I mean Bob is kind of... Very Bob, but still"

Harper Chuckles.

- "I used to be the head of security," Harper says.

- "I know. With Perry." Maddie laughs.

- "Yeah but I was the one who bossed her around so it was great." Harper smiles "Actually I still do that.".

- "I know, but I have no idea how you didn't kill her." Maddie says.

- "Because she's scared of me." Harper says as they reach a staircase "And my goal is to one day make her pee her pants in fear and that hasn't happened yet"

Maddie chuckles.

- "Oh, she is your alter ego for sure." Mon-El says.

Harper gives Maddie a playful wink before starting up the stairs.

- "She was the same but not with her. With some guy... What was his name?" Mon-El turns to his sister.

- "That's not important." Maddie shakes her head.

- "Whoever it was deserved it" Harper nods

- "That's my girlfriend, always encouraging violence" Chase sighs sarcastically.

- "Don't be surprised, after all you met me like that" Harper says. Chase shooks his head.

- "You would agree with me if you knew who he was." Maddie says.

- "I feel like I have to believe you," Chase says going into the second floor corridor

- "I do" Harper says

Mon-El frowns.

- "Trent!" He exclaims. "That's his name."

Maddie sighs in despair.

- "Oh I was right" Harper chuckles and Chase laughs.

- "Deserved. But I still think he deserves more mercy than Perry" Chase says, Harper shrugs.

- "Nope. He deserved worse." Maddie says.

- "Maddie shared her memories with me when we met and every time he touched Leo and Chase, she would run after him to hurt him." Mon-El chuckles.

- "They don't need to know that." Maddie glares at him.

- "Oh I needed you back in high school" Chase smiles.

- "All I have to say is he was a shitty teacher." Harper shrugs.

- "Yeah but you didn't see the worst of him" Chase says.

- "He wasn't so bad after all we owe him one" Harper says. Chase scoffs.

- "Saving me from the rain, hunger and homelessness is not worth all the heads in the toilet." Chase says annoyed. Harper holds back a laugh.

- "I'm still shocked." Maddie says. "But after the bionic secret got out, Trent actually started to be nice."

- "after she threatened him to rip his dick off and make him eat it." Mon-El scoffs.

- "Stop it." Maddie smacks her brother's arm.

Harper cracks a laugh.

- "I'll tell Mercy that one," she whispers to Chase.

- "Don't do that" Chase shakes his head "Because I'll be the one she says that to, I feel it"

- "I love Mercy and I've never met her." Maddie snickers.

- "She's awsome" Harper says.

- "She's the Devil" Chase replies annoyed.

- "Awesome." Maddie nods.

Harper nods with a smile to Maddie and Chase opens the command center door.

- "Here's the command center. We can start looking for your pet E.T." He blows the hair off his forehead.

Maddie scoffs.

- "Want E.T. to punch you again?" She looks at his eyes as she crosses her arms.

Chase raises his eyebrow at her.

- "I didn't mean it that way. I know a lot of E.T.s. Okay" He smirks.

- "Chay don't push It" Harper says. He rolls his eyes.

- "I know a lot of arrogant idiots." Maddie smirks.

- "Oh good thing you're not looking at one" Chase shugs walks towards the console.

- "Not at all." Maddie sarcastically replies.

Harper crosses her arms and leans towards Mon-El.

- "Should I be worried about these two..." She points at Chase and Maddie "Coexisting?"

- "I have no idea." Mon-El whispers. "Her Chase isn't like yours at all."

Harper presses her lips together in frustration.

- "Oh boy" She says

Maddie sarcastically smirks at Chase, before looking back at her ring.

Chase sighs loudly and sits down in his chair.

Harper approaches Maddie as she looks at the ring.

"Can I ask why you look at that ring so much?" She asks.

- "It has sentimental value." Maddie says.

Harper looks at the ring and takes a step back reflectively.

- "I see" She nods in understanding "It holds memories right" she says more calmly keeping her expression serious. Chase glances at her briefly.

- "More than you think." Maddie smiles softly.

- "I can imagine." Harper gives a sincere smile.

- "I know." Maddie says.

- "Everyone has something" Harper gently puts her hand on her shoulder.

- "Yeah. Mostly because it's the only thing I have left from my old universe with the Davenports." Maddie sighs.

- "I don't get it" Chase says from the console.

- "What?" Maddie frowns.

- "This whole thing." He turns his chair to face her. "You say you know us, you know a Chase."

Harper frowns

- "But I can't believe it. Just you coming here and saying that isn't enough, especially if you could read our minds." Chase leans back in his chair.

- "You made me come here." Maddie frowns.

Chase rolls his eyes

- "You know what I meant. I don't buy It" He stands up "You say you know a Chase, right, but prove it to me, tell me something that only someone who knew me would know." Chase says.

Harper scoffs

- "Seriously?" Harper says to him.

- "Yeah. I want proof." He says.

- "Okay. You have a birthmark on your left hip that looks like Justin Bieber." Maddie crosses her arms.

Harper's eyes widen, Chase puts his hand on his hips.

- "It really does, though." Harper says.

- "Shut up!" Chase says.

Maddie chuckles.

- "I wanna see." Mon-El laughs.

Harper laughs and Chase throws him a frown.

- "Fuck off Man!" He says annoyed keeping his hands on his hips.

The siblings laughs.

- "It looks great." Maddie adds.

- "Okay, so she knows something that only you, Adam and anyone who has seen me shirtless on the beach knows, big deal." Chase says not wanting to believe it.

- "She was very specific with the Justin Bieber thing." Harper says, Chase crosses his arms angryly.

- "You guys are alter ego. You're not the same person. How am I supposed to prove it to you?" Maddie frowns.

- "You tell me Smart-ass" Chase raises his eyebrow.

- "Okay. Mon-El, get out." Maddie says.

- "Yes, ma'am." Mon-El walks out.

Harper gasps with a smile

- "Should I make popcorn?" She says and Chase galres at her.

- "Okay. I'm gonna say one word and you'll decide." Maddie says.

- "Go ahead" Chase shrugs.

- "Vince." Maddie raises her eyebrows.

Silence fills the room as Chase and Harper's faces go blank.

Chase slowly lowers his hands from his hips and swallows hard. Harper looks down thoughtfully.

- "Believe me now?" Maddie asks.

- "Don't ever say that name again" Chase says firmly after galnce at Harper who remains silent

- "I know. But it's not like you gave much of choice, did you?" Maddie replies

Chase takes a deep breath closing his eyes.

- "Okay. You proved your point" he says.

- "I know." Maddie rolls her eyes.

- "Don't mind him, he's just being..." Harper sighs looking at him.

- "Chase being Chase. I know." Maddie sighs.

- "Yup, totally Chase. Totally freaky." Harper says "But you learn to deal with it" she says as Chase returns to his chair in silence.

- "Yeah. Tell me about it." Maddie scoffs.

- "But it's worth it" Harper tilts her head looking at Chase

Maddie smiles softly.

- "You learn to deal with him over time" Harper smirk.

- "I know." Maddie chuckles.

- "Keep messing with him I love it" Harper whispers to Maddie.

- "I loved messing with my Chase. It's so easy. And with yours too, apparently." Maddie says.

- "Oh, you have no idea. Sometimes I don't even know why he gets so grumpy all of a sudden." Harper crosses her arms.

- "My Chase isn't this grumpy because he messes with me back." Maddie snickers.

- "Mine does that too. Didn't you hear him call me a mess a few minutes ago?" Harper says

Chase rolls his eyes in amusement.

- "I did." Maddie chuckles. "I prefer making him blush. It's so funny when he looks like a tomato."

Chase lifts his head and frowns

- "Oh my god yes! His red cheeks are adorable... That's the best part about messing with him is making up for it by making him blush" Harper chuckles.

- "Honestly, this is the thing I do the most when I mess with him." Maddie snickers. "I praise him any chance I get, so he turns red every time. Beside he needs praises, given how that his family never give him any.

- "Exactly. I don't get it being that he's the most amazing guy ever" Harper says.

Chase blushes with a smile staring at the console "Stop it" he frowns to himself.

- "Plus" Harper leans towards Maddie "He really loves compliments it drives him crazy" she whispers.

- "I know!" Maddie exclaims. "He loves them and also I don't understand why nobody can see how amazing he is."

Chase raises an eyebrow.

- "Well actually they do. The Captain over there literally has a fan club here" Harper crosses her arms "Not to mention probably the most mentioned name in the last year"

- "Yeah, here. My Chase just turned 17. And you guys can remember how Chase was treated in the Elite Force." Maddie sighs.

Harper presses her lips together remembering.

- "Yeah..." She says "But I was there to treat him very well back then" she smirks.

Chase struggles not to look at her from his chair.

- "Yeah. I saw that." Maddie snickers.

Chase swallows hard and ends up drowning in his own sage upon hearing this and Harper gives Maddie a frown.

- "Oh and the face he makes when we mess with him." Maddie chuckles. "It's so adorable."

Harper laughs.

- "Uh, you did notice I'm still in the room, right?" Chase turns his chair around.

- "I can arrange that by putting a soundproof and invisible shield around him." Maddie smirks at Harper.

- "No let him hear it" Harper grins sarcastically at Chase who narrows his eyes at her

- "Oh You" He says annoyed. Harper shrugs.

Chase shifts his gaze to her annoyed and Maddie rolls her eyes, amused.

- "As lovely as the "We Love to Make Fun of Chase" club is, can we change the subject!" Chase says irritated.

- "Grumpy." Maddie scoffs.

- "I prefer "focused" He replies

- "It's not because you prefer this term that it's correct." Maddie says.

Chase takes a deep breath and Harper chuckles.

- "Adorable" she says looking at him

- "You're not helping," Chase tells her.

- "He's just trying to divert the conversation" Harper says and Chase glares at her

- "Uuh! you poked the bear" Harper turns to Maddie "Right where it hurts"

Maddie rolls her eyes.

- "What matters doesn't bother you much when you make out with Harper in this very room." She raises her hands.

Chase widens his eyes slightly, blushing intensely while Harper blushes the same way but gasps with a giggle.

- "W-we never..." Chase starts but exchanges a look with Harper who tilts her head "That's not the point and stop making references to my intimate moments!"

Harper snorts but covers her mouth.

Maddie presses her lips together and nods as she tries to contain her laughter.

"Damn! When she says she saw everything she means everything!" Chase clears his throat.

"Oh I shouldn't but I'm loving this" Harper wipes away tears of amusement.

- "You're gonna stop pretending you are the most serious person of the universe now?" Maddie crosses her arms.

Chase smirks and stands up

- "I'm just doing my job" He crosses his arms

- "When you're not horny." Maddie murmurs to Harper.

Harper bites her lip to keep from laughing.

- "What are you laughing at?" Chase looks at her "You're the one to blame for this"

- "What exactly did I do besides exist by your side?" Harper smirk.

- "That's exactly what you did. How do you expect me to deal with this?" Chase shrugs with his arms crossed.

Harper wrinkles her nose as she scratches it discreetly.

"Anyway" Chase looks back at Maddie

Maddie chuckles.

- "My trust in people is a bit shaky, Maddie," He says, taking a deep breath, "And you know exactly why. So it's my instinct to stay on the defensive."

- "I know." Maddie nods. "But if you gave me a chance, you'd know that I would rather die than hurt Chase. Or a version of him. Sorry again for earlier."

- "I insisted you come here because I want to give you a chance." Chase says. He shakes his head "And you have nothing to apologize for. You were defensive as well" he smirks gently.

- "I still hurt you. The why doesn't matter." Maddie sighs.

- "Well" Chase thinks about how to lighten the mood "Maybe you can pay me for dental insurance if this makes you feel better" he rubs his hand on his jaw.

Maddie snickers.

- "Don't try me. I will." She says.

Chase smirk lightly

- "All right" He says, "But what will really make me feel better is if you stop talking back to me." He says in frustation

- "Yeah... That you can keep dreaming." Maddie smiles.

He rolls his eyes

- "Fine." He sighs "And how about stopping meddling in my sexual life? That's weird" Chase frowns.

- "Hey. I was just making you shut up." Maddie raises her hands.

- "Yeah Said and Done. But just stop!" Chase raises his hand.

- "It's weird indeed" Harper adds "I know other ways to make him shut up. Just ask."

- "Harper!" Chase shouts.

Maddie laughs.

- "I wasn't going to continue anyway. I made my point and I'm done." She says.

- "Good" Chase says.

- "But if you think that's weird, try seeing it in every single person you meet." Maddie crosses her arms. "At some point, you just live with it. It's normal for me." She shrugs.

Chase and Harper cringe

"Uhg!" They say in union.

- "Everyone?" Harper asks

- "Ewww!!" Harper and Chase say.

- "I didn't have to imagine this" Chase puts his hand on his head.

- "This is where my brain burns" Harper closes her eyes.

- "Now, you get it. A teeny tiny bit." Maddie says.

- "I know what you saw" Harpe says "I heard her stories" she widens her eyes in a daze.

- "Yeah, she forgot some parts." Maddie frowns.

- "I don't want to know what she forgot" Harper shakes her head

- "Oookay" Chase interrupts "I'm going to interrupt before you traumatize my girlfriend forever" he walks over to Harper.

Maddie chuckles softly before looking around. She continues to mindlessly play with her ring, like every time her anxiety rises.

- "So the Elite Force exists in your universe no problem?" Chase asks

- "Not in my current one." Maddie shakes her head.

- What happened to It?" Harper asks

- "It's fictional." Maddie says.

Chase scoff

- "Fictional. Like a TV series?" He asks.

- "Yes." Maddie nods.

- "People watch me on TV Huh!" he smirks smugly and Harper rolls her eyes in amusement.

- "Oh yeah." Maddie nods, amused. "Your fan club isn't just a few people like here."

- "Obviously. It's statistical since a lot more people see what I actually do." Chase puts his hand on his hip with a cocky grin.

- "Being cocky as hell?" Harper smirks. Chase rolls his eyes.

- "More like they think hot as hell." Maddie shrugs.

Chase grins gets wider.

- "Oh he'll never get it out of his head" Harper closes her eyes and smiles

- "Well..." He runs his hand through his hair "I wouldn't say hot as hell but. People know what they're talking about now."

Maddie chuckles. "God I miss my Chase." She continues to smile as she looks down at the floor.

Harper glares at Chase and he tilts his head

- "Wait. Are you serious or is this just a joke?" He asks slightly distressed.

- "Why would I joke about that?" Maddie frowns.

- "It just sounds kind of absurd," Chase replies "Now thinking about It"

- "Are you doubting?" Harper asks

- "No" Chase says and clears his throat lying

- "I thought you managed to shut down his insecurities?" Maddie whispers to Harper.

- "He's being humble" Harper smirk

- "Didn't know it was possible." Maddie says.

Harper chuckles

- "Me neither. But he's trying," She smiles. "Maybe he thinks it'll come in handy." She whispers.

- "Yeah." Maddie nods. She looks down at her ring, sadly.

- "Look. If we're going to look for an alien we need to know a few things. How could we identify it?" Chase asks

- "I don't know. He's a shape-shifter. He could have have taken anyone's appearance WITH their thoughts." Maddie says. "I keep looking for me but I can't find him." She frowns.

- "Uhg! We've dealt with shape-shifters before. They're a pain in the ass," Harper says.

- "And one that uses people's thoughts while shape shifting is definitely a pain in the ass." Chase puts his hand on his chin thinking.

- "Yeah. Mostly when he's from one of the most violent species of my universe. On Mars, there were green Martians and white Martians. The green Martians lived on the surface, peacefully and the white Martians lived in the heart of the planet. One day, they came out and started a war. They took green Martians and put the men in camps to make them work. And they took women, kids, and old people and burnt them alive. This is the kind of monster we are dealing with." Maddie explains.

- "Thanks for the Space History lesson" Chase walks away from Harper and walks over to the console.

- "If he comes from such a dangerous species he is cold and calculating to the point of not taking the form of just any person but rather someone he knows will take him somewhere" Chase says opening files trying to find something that is at least a species similar to a white martian in this universe.

- "It was more like explaining the crazy kind he is than a history lesson." Maddie rolls her eyes. "He must be hiding somewhere until I find him, so he can kill me and bring my body to J'onn."

- "I got that" Chase smirk at her "And who would this J'onn be? A green Martian?" He assumes.

- "You are so smart, wow. Guessing the obvious." Maddie mocks.

- "Not everyone would get that. J'onn barely sounds like a name." Harper says "No offence"

- "Shocking for an alien." Maddie rolls her eyes. "Kinda like Mon-El."

- "That one sounds cute" Harper smiles.

- "No, but Harper come on. You read DC comic books, doesn't this name sounds familiar?" Maddie raises her eyebrows.

- "Wait. Your friend is named after J'onn from the comics" Harper scoffs

- "He is J'onn J'onzz from the comic books." Maddie says

- "You're from DC universe!!" Harper shouts "Like The DC Universe?!"

- "Yep." Maddie nods.

- "Your brother is the real Mon-El!!" Harper realizes.

- "Yes and no. He's the mix between the comic characters Valor and the Mon-El of the TV show." Maddie says.

- "Either way this is fucking amazing!" Harper smiles wildly

- "Wait. So if you come from the comic book universe, why have we never read a comic about you?" Chase asks.

- "Because I'm not supposed to exist." Maddie shrugs.

- "How so?" Harper asks

- "My bio mother got pregnant with me when she was 45. It's supposed to be almost impossible to carry a child at term at this age without any problems. Then, I was kidnapped and tortured to my two months until i was five, where nobody understood how a baby survived all this. I survived an explosion, that's how I got the powers of two other species. I should've died the day the Krees put a sword through my mother's heart in front of me. I should have died when I let myself get aspired by a wormhole." Maddie says. "I'm not supposed to be alive. And quadbrid are not supposed to exist either."

- "Who said you can't exist after all? Come on! You're a existence marvel..." Harper says "Even if you come from DC. But you get it" she frowns

- "The universe?" Maddie snickers. "First and only one of my kind for a reason."

- "Maybe because it means you're special." Chase smiles gently.

Maddie scoffs.

- "Yeah." She says.

- "Maybe you survived all of this for a reason." Harper says

- "Yeah. To lose everything afterwards." Maddie says.

Chase and Harper exchange a pitying look

- "You guys are lucky to have each other. Cherish it, you don't know what can happen." Maddie sighs.

- "I'm sure there's someone out there who'll be lucky enough to have you in their life," Harper says and Chase nods with a smile.

- "Maybe. But just enjoy having the Davenports by your side, Harper." Maddie says as she plays with her ring.

- "What happened to your Davenports?" Harper asks

- "Remember when you all went to space and Chase was stuck in space?" Maddie asks.

Harper glances at Chase and he tenses his jaw looking down.

- "Yes." She answers.

- "Well, in my old universe, a wormhole opened behind him. And it was going to aspire him. So I opened a portal and flew in space to get him back in the space ship. But a wormhole only disappears after it aspired something otherwise it just get bigger. So... I let it aspire me. I arrived in the universe I was born in, with supergirl, Superman, Mon-El. And I haven't seen my Davenports in nine months." Maddie presses her lips together as she looks up to avoid tears from falling.

"At least I didn't kill anyone in her universe I assume" Chase takes a deep breath taking in the information.

- "Wow" Harper says

- "Did you sacrifice yourself to save me?" Chase asks "I mean...him?"

- "Told you I would rather die than see him getting hurt." Maddie says.

Chase smiles slightly, touched.

- "I know what you mean. I would do the same," Harper says and walks over to Chase.

- "Yeah." Maddie smiles sadly.

- "You are a hero. Of the purest kind" Chase says

- "Thanks." Maddie replies.

- "I mean It" Chase smiles softly

- "My Chase is definitely not seeing it this way. I broke my promise." Maddie says.

- "What promise?" Harper asks

- "Harper" Chase says seeing that the subject is delicate

- "He made me promise to never sacrifice myself for him or the rest of his family." Maddie says. "I promised him even though I knew that I would never be able to keep it."

Chase tries hard not to show no expression "No. That doesn't apply to you...no matter how much the shoe fits"

"Sounds like someone I know. Not gonna lie...I would do that" Harper sighs

- "Anyway." Maddie sighs. "You want another proof that I actually knew you?" She looks at Chase.

- "I just don't understand why I seem to be so important to you" Chase says

- "Because Chase is my best friend." Maddie rolls her eyes and puts her right thumb on her ring. A picture of her and Chase appears above it as a hologram. She swipes gently through the pictures, revealing some with each Davenport and Dooley, her students and her mom.

Chase frowns and Harper softens her gaze.

- "This is so weird" Chase says quietly

- "They are your family too" Harper says

- "I know Leo and Tasha and grandma and grandpa since I'm 6. And then I met the Davenports on their first day of school. We saw each other every day. We have family Sundays. We spent every Christmas and Thanksgiving together. And when my mom died they took me in. They... were my family." Maddie blinks quickly to get rid off the tears in her eyes.

- "They are welcoming in all universes" Harper says softly but upset.

Chase remains silent looking at Maddie intently "We're here" he thinks but he doesn't think he should say it. He just feel It

- "Yep." Maddie nods.

Harper approaches Maddie slightly excitedly.

- "I'm so sorry." Harper opens her arms to her.

Maddie turns off her ring and wraps her arms around Harper's back.

- "I just..." Harper hugs her "I understand how hard it must be for you to be here right now" she says softly empathizing with her pain.

Chase sighs and looks down.

- "Yeah. Now you get why I didn't want to follow the strangely not so similar copy of the guy I'm in love with." Maddie snickers.

"In Love?" Chase frowns

- "In Love?" Harper says the tightness in her chest of empathy tightening even more.

- "Shit." Maddie murmurs.

- "Were you in love with Chase?" Harper steps back a little and puts her hand on her shoulder.

- "Yeah." Maddie sighs loudly.

- "Yeah nothing's weird that it can't get weirder" Harper mutters "But oh my God!"

- "You were in love with me--him?" Chase frowns.

Maddie takes a step back.

- "Still am." She looks down.

- "Does he know?" Chase asks "Damn, this is so fucking weird"

- "No." Maddie says.

- "Why not?" Harper asks

- "Because he doesn't see me this way and I didn't want to lose my best friend." Maddie shrugs.

Chase scoffs

- "What a nonsense" he says

- "I didn't ask for your opinion." Maddie rolls her eyes.

Chase rolls his eyes and sighs

"Look, I can't speak for your Chase, but I don't see why I wouldn't love a girl like you. "Chase says

Maddie shrugs.

- "He never saw me like that. And I'm okay with it. I was just the supportive best friend who helped him with his crushes." She says.

- "Crushes? With an "s"" Chase frowns.

- "Yep." Maddie nods. "I helped him get another date with Sabrina after Spike showed up. And I helped him be more calm around his boyfriend. Besides for a few days I was the only one who knew about it."

"Boyfriend?!" Chase cringes a bit confused

- "Woah. Boyfriend" Harper murmurs raising an eyebrow

- "Why did you do that?" Chase asks

- "Because I just want him to be happy." Maddie says.

- "Look, this doesn't mean anything, just because he dated and went out on dates with other people, doesn't mean he found the right one" Harper says.

- "Exactly" Chase says "I never imagined myself falling in love with anyone else tho"

- "Doesn't mean it's me." Maddie chuckles.

- "But it could be. You're perfect," Chase says "I say this as a Chase" He frowns

- "You can't give up" Harper says

- "I already did." Maddie says.

- "Well, I wouldn't, it's obvious that whether you like it or not, you're an important part of his life... or mine... anyway, I would never let you go like that...Wherever he is, I know he must be freaking out looking for you." Chase says, Harper agrees.

- "I hope he's not. I know both of you. He's gonna destroy himself looking for me. I don't want that. I rather he just already gave up. But I know he didn't, he's just gonna blame himself, until he comes to point of hating himself." Maddie sighs.

Chase stays silent knowing this is true, Harper shakes her head.

- "I won't let that happen. There has to be a way to make him see that you're okay and resolving this situation." Harper says.

- "No. Even if we found a way, I just met my brother. And I don't want to have to choose between my families." Maddie holds back her tears.

- "Maybe you don't have to" Chase says.

- "Yes. Look, this multiverse thing is not new to us. My mother created millions of theories about it and several have already proven to be true" Harper says "We can help you with It. If you want a universe with a whole team of top level nerds that can help you get somewhere... you're in the right place." She says with determination.

- "I would have to choose. How can it be something else?" Maddie frowns. "That's very nice, but no."

Harper sighs.

- "Look, I can feel your pain, and I would never forgive myself if I knew you were like this and I could have done something about it." Harper puts her hand on Maddie's shoulder.

- "You can't do anything. Even we find him in the infinite of universes. I'm not giving up on my brother." Maddie frowns.

- "There has to be a way for them to coexist" Chase says "Okay sounds crazy but maybe there's a way"

- "How? It's two different universes." Maddie replies.

- "You can't abandon your Chase like that." Harper says

- "What am I supposed to do? Give up my brother?" Maddie frowns.

- "Of course not but...""Harp, stop, this is beyond our control." Chase puts his hand on Harper's shoulder.

- "This is really sweet, Harper. But I rather think I will never see the Davenports or the last things I have left from my mom or my students again, then hope and ending up crushed at the end." Maddie says.

Harper sighs.

- "You're welcome, but I understand I spent a long time thinking I shouldn't take chances or risk my heart with false hope, but I truly believe that you will see him again, you don't need to believe me...but I do, and when it happens you will be together forever...Because he has no reason not to love you." Harper says.

- "If you say so." Maddie snickers.

- "Well, I believe I'm not an idiot in your universe so... he really has no reason not to love you." Chase chuckles.

- "Says the guy who ate dog food at thirteen." Maddie says.

Chase's smile disappears, Harper laughs.

- "She got you there!" Harper laughs.

- "Quiet, 'cause I've seen you do the same with Newton's food." Chase says.

- "Never happened." Harper tells Maddie.

- "Harper, you remember that I read your mind right?" Maddie crosses her arms.

Harper crosses her arms as Chase chuckles.

- "That way ruin the fun" she says annoyed.

Maddie smiles.

- "Is there anything else you saw that I should know about, Maddie?" Chase's gaze shifts from Harper to Maddie.

- "Chay!" Harper grits her teeth

- "i don't know. Why don't you ask Harper if she has any more secrets." Maddie smirks.

- "I don't" Harper says annoyed

- "Can I Trust?" He teases, Harper glares at him

- "Nothing, Harper? Really?" Maddie frowns.

- "I doubt it, he knows everything." Harper cross her arms.

- "Do I know?" Chase asks.

- "YES YOU DO!" Harper shouts annoyed.

- "We'll see." Chase smirks "Maddie?"

- "October 31st when you were fourteen." Maddie smirks.

"Oh shit." Harper mumbles.

- "What happened that day?" Chase asks.

- "Nothing she just threw a random date." Harper scratches the back of her head.

- "Do you want to know, Chase?" Maddie smirks as she looks at Harper in the eyes.

- "Don't you dare." Harper grits her teeth.

- "Oh, I want." Chase chuckles.

- "NO!" Harper shouts and steps forward.

- "You know everything I'm capable of and you know it's not safe for you to do this" Harper threatens "Please don't tell, it's very embarrassing"

Maddie chuckles.

- "I won't. I never tell what I read in people's minds. It's private." She smiles softly. "Sorry, Chase."

- "You're going to tell me, right?" He asks Harper

- "In my time," Harper says. Chase frowns.

Maddie smiles.

- "You know she always does when she tells you this." She adds.

Chase frowns in confusion and Harper keeps staring at Maddie annoyed

- "You can keep staring, you don't scare me." Maddie says.

- "You are impossible" Harper says

- "My Chase's favorite sentence for me." Maddie snickers.

- "He tells You this too?" Harper asks

- "Mostly when I make him blush, since he knows I do it on purpose 90% of the time." Maddie says.

Harper looks at Chase who holds back a smile.

- "What can I say? I love making him blush and flustered." Maddie shrugs with a smile.

- "Yeah i get that" Chase says

- "You do it too Harper." Maddie replies.

- "Of course it's awsome and very..." Harper holds Chase's face "Cute" she pecks him on the lips

- "I know." Maddie chuckles.

Chase rolls his eyes blushing

- "Making the smartest man in the world blush is really an amazing gift." Maddie smirks at Harper.

- "I know. Makes me feel like the smartest woman in the world, right Pretty Boy?" Harper say softly and looks at Chase with his red cheeks.

- "Y-yeah, sure" He smirks.

- "You are." Maddie says.

- "Thanks" Harper smiles

- "You're welcome." Maddie smiles back.

Suddenly the doors of the command center open and Leo walks in with the tablet.

Maddie's eyes widen. "Leo." She smiles softly.

Leo keeps his eyes on the tablet

- "Can you believe they won't let me have full access to all the features of the App unless I subscribe to the "Premium Date" package!!" He complains to Chase and Harper without noticing Maddie in the room.

Harper and Chase frown

Maddie chuckles silently "Needy in every universe."

- "We're kind of busy right now Leo" Harper says.

Leo's gaze turns to Maddie.

- "Oh Hello!" Leo grins wildly and puts the tablet in Chase's face.

- "Ow!" Chase cringes as he catches the tablet reflexively in his hands as Leo walks past him.

- "Hey." Maddie smiles.

- "I'm Leo Dooley..." Leo smirks charmingly. "You've probably heard of me. I'm the leader of the Elite Force."

- "Yes. I've heard. I'm Maddie Matthews." Maddie smiles, totally unaware of what's happening in his head.

- "Maddie huh. That's a nice name." Leo walks over to her.

- "Oh no." Chase says and looks at Harper recognizing his brother's tone

- "Tell me...What do you need help with Little angel? Need someone strong? or smart?" Leo chuckles "Good thing I'm both and a little more."

- "Oh God." Harper looks away to keep from laughing.

- "Oh God." Maddie frowns. This can't be happening. "Oh, yes, please. I'm not very bright and I'm so weak. Be my shining knight and save me." She, dramatically, puts her hand on her forehead.

Chase and Harper exchange a look of amusement.

- "Oh I will." Leo puts his hands on his hips. "Tell me what you need?" He deepens his voice.

- "There's a bad guy after me. Please save me, mission leader Dooley." Maddie says.

- "Oh he's gonna get dumped so bad." Harper whispers to Chase. He nods.

- "Oh this guy is going to regret to the last strand of his hair the day he disturbed a girl I swear to protect with all my heroic-" He runs out of better words. "Heroism..?" He frowns.

Harper slaps her forehead. Maddie presses her lips together. "He's so funny. In every universe, he's cocky."

- "Where's the son of a bitch?" Leo rolls up his sleeves.

Chase rolls his eyes in amusement.

- "No idea. That's what we are trying to figure out." Maddie shrugs.

- "Well let's get to work people!" Leo claps his hands at Chase and Harper.
Chase stands up seriously.

- "Excuse me?" He raises his eyebrow and Leo flinches.

- "I-i meant... let's work people." He smiles faking excited.

Maddie chuckles. Leo turns to her.

- "You have a beautiful smile." He says softly.

Maddie frowns, disgusted.

- "Thanks?" She says. "Ew, he's like my brother."

- "Should we tell him?" Harper says to Chase. He scoffs.

- "You're kidding" He chuckles to her.
Maddie frowns. Gross, just gross. Ew.

- "While they do the research and boring stuff." Leo points at Chase and Harper.

- "Why don't you and I have a fun chat?" He puts his arm around Maddie. "Tell me where you're from, Cutie?" He smirks.

- "Okay, that's it. I'm done." Maddie grabs his arm and moves away from him.

- "And there it is." Harper says.

- "Too smooth?" Leo asks sarcastically.

- "Yeah, you could have been a little more invasive, she would have fallen at your feet." Chase responds equally sarcastic.

- "I can't. Ugh." Maddie frowns in disgust. "This is so gross." She whispers to herself.

Leo gasps.

- "Wow. Seriously? My new perfume is that bad. I knew taking Big D's recommendation was a bad idea. I should have kept with the baby lotion my mom gave me for Christmas." He says annoyed, sniffing himself.

- "No." Maddie chuckles. "There is nothing wrong with your perfume. It's just that I'm from another universe and in my universe, your alter ego is like my brother."

Leo frowns and tilts his head in confusion.

- "In your what? My what? Is who?" He asks confused.

- "I know. It's complicated but since you are sooo smart. You should understand. Right?" Maddie mocks.

- "Oh yeah sure. But maybe you should explain cuz Chase didn't understand. Look at his face of doubt." Leo points at Chase who looks at him with a serious look.

- "Oh, I think the smartest man in the world understands. Isn't that right?" Maddie looks at Chase.

Chase smiles walking up to Leo.

- "I do. Plus I understand that you, Leo, are not really her type." Chase winks at her. "Right Maddie?"
Leo frowns in confusion.

Maddie presses her lips together as she smiles.

- "That's right." She says.

- "Harper?" Leo looks at her.

- "Leo. No, just no." Harper says, holding back a laugh.

Maddie rolls her eyes at Chase, as she tries to not laugh.

Suddenly the door to the command center opens again and Douglas walks in with Adam entering right behind him holding Mon-El by the arm.

Mon-El has water dripping from his shirt and face and a frustrated look on his face as Adam holds his arm.

- "Captain. We found this intruder walking around like it was his house." Douglas tells Chase.

Adam lets go of Mon-El's arm and wipes his hand on his jacket.

- "He was trying to get some..." Adam looks at Harper. "With Mercy."
Harper snorts a laugh and Adam agrees in amusement.

- "Oh my god. Seriously Mon-El?" Maddie chuckles.

- "She was gorgeous. You can't expect me to see a beautiful woman and not go talk to her." Mon-El walks up to his sister.

- "You are such a whore." Maddie says.

Mon-El rolls his eyes, amused.

- "Oh You missed the shot my friend. Mercedes is barely a being, she is more like a frigid and very very angry figure." Chase frowns.

- "Besides with Grace. She has a soft spot for her." Maddie shrugs.

- "Hey, who are you and how do you know my Gracie?" Adam points intrigued.

- "Can one of you explain?" Maddie looks at the couple.

- "All right. We need a team meeting." Chase sighs. "Are you ready to see the captain work live and in color?" He grins smugly at Maddie.

- "You are sooo cocky. It's insane." Maddie chuckles.

Chase rolls his eyes in amusement.
- "Sshh." He hushes. "Harper likes it." He whispers and winks. "Plus, I'm just asking." He shrugs.

- "She definitely does." Maddie whispers. "But I didn't say that because of what you said. I said it because of the smug grin on your face." She snickers.

- "It comes with the package." He keeps the smirk. "I love my job." He sighs.

- "I know." Maddie smiles.

- "Okay Captain. I've already called the rest over here and they're on their way." Harper says going over to him.

- "Good job General." He says. Harper nods and puts her hands behind her back as she gives Maddie a gentle smile.

"This is going to be so weird." Maddie takes a deep breath.

Mon-El puts his hand on her shoulder from behind.

- "You okay?" Harper asks.
Maddie nods.

- "It's okay if it's too much for you. I understand." Harper assures.

- "It's fine. Let's just find T'him." Maddie says.

- "Okay." Harper nods.

Everyone is gathered in the meeting room.

At the central table we have Leo who made a point of sitting next to Maddie who is next to her brother.

Adam as always is at the head of the table with Harper and Chase. Douglas and Melody are more in the corner and Kaz enters the room with Grace.

- "What's going on? Who are they?" Kaz points to Maddie and Mon-El.

- "Aw! Leo! Your app worked and they delivered you a girl ?!" Grace smiles wildly as Adam pulls out the chair for her.

Maddie frowns.

- "No. Absolutely not." She vigorously shakes her head. "Noooo."

- "Oh that's just sour grapes." Leo scoffs. "She'll fell for It." He mouths.
Grace looks at Maddie.

Maddie frowns at Leo. "What the hell?"

- "I'm Maddie. This is my brother Mon-El and we are aliens from another universe." She says.

Grace smiles.

- "Woah! Really?" She asks.

- "Yes." Maddie nods with a smile.

- "Oh okay then." Adam says as if he doesn't care because it would be normal, Chase frowns.

"An Adam is an Adam." Maddie smiles.

- "Maddie spent a long time in an alternate universe very similar to ours and there she met several of our alter egos." Harper explains.

- "She can also read minds." Chase adds. "Just don't ask what she saw." He and Harper avoid eye contact with frustrated looks.

Maddie rolls her eyes, amused.
Melody gasps.

- "Wait you mean...You traveled through the Multiverse?" She asks.

- "Yes, Dr. Davenport. I was born in universe 38, then I spent five years in between universes, then 11 years in the universe with MY Davenports. And for the last 9 months, I'm back in universe 38." Maddie explains.

- "Oh my-- it's just that I'm still processing the idea that parallel universes really exist. I've been doing studies on this for many years, so to see concrete proof that my theories were right...It's very wonderful."

Melody sighs a smile.
Douglas puts his hand on her shoulder proudly.

- "I always told you, you were right, Honey." Douglas says.

- "Well, my adoptive mother was from the universe of Marvel and a few months ago I met the Flash from universe 1. So I guarantee you. Your theories are very true." Maddie smiles softly.

Melody gasps with a smile

- "I'm going to win a Nobel Prize!" She tells Douglas excitedly "Well as soon as I'm part of society again" she says frustratedly and Douglas comforts her

- "When you are, I'll answer any of your questions." Maddie says.

- "So you came from another universe and you know us?" Adam asks

- "I know you, Chase, Leo, Dougie, Kaz, and all the students, Skylar, Oliver, Horace. And the rest of the original Dooley-Davenport family." Maddie replies.

- "Huh. Well if you know me and you say you read minds" Adam puts his hands behind his back "How many fingers am I holding up?"

- "Oh Yeah! I wanna see If you can answer this one" Grace nods

Chase rolls his eyes and throws his head back. Harper presses her lips together.

- "That's not how it works, big guy." Maddie shakes her head.

Adam shakes his head.

- "Oh yeah? Then maybe this is all a hoax" Adam scoffs "What would you guys do without me?" He tells Chase who frowns.

Harper glances at Adam's back and looks at Maddie

- "Just one" she mouths and holds up a finger without Adam seeing.

- "One." She says. "This is how much brain cells you have."

Adam gasps and takes his hand from behind his back with just one finger raised and a look of disbelief. Grace's eyes widen.

- "Oh my god! How did you do that?!" She asks Maddie.

- "They told you, I read minds." Maddie winks at Harper.

Harper shakes her head in amusement.

- "Yeah, Of course you do. After all, I chose the least likely number." Adam says impressed looking at Harper.

- "I know. Nobody saw that coming" Harper says sarcastically.

- "Nobody." Maddie shakes her head. "You're smart."

- "He is, isn't He?" Grace smiles proudly at him who shrugs smugly.

- "Okay Adam stop interrogating her. Be more polite" Chase says

- "Yeah but she said, she knows me" Adam says

- "Yeah but still, don't be rude" Chase says "She's past the interrogation stage" He smirks at Maddie

- "Yeah, don't worry, Adam. Chase already interrogated me." Maddie rolls her eyes.

- "Chase does this to everyone." Kaz says "Be worried if he doesn't interrogate you."

Harper rolls her eyes

- "Don't mind them. I'm sure you've read their minds and seen that there's not much there" she says.

- "I saw." Maddie nods. "It's practically empty."

Harper laughs. Adam glares at her annoyed

- "Excuse me? How can the mind of the guy responsible for the daily maintenance of all the mechanics of this aircraft carrier have an empty mind?" Adam smirks

- "99% luck, and 1% skill?" Chase scoffs. Adam glares at him "Just kidding" he smiles.

- "It's a mystery. How can a guy who knows all that, still thinks first thing when he wakes up that shaving cream only looks like whipped cream?" Maddie shrugs.

- "That's why we all agreed that the best thing for him was to stop shaving" Chase scoffs sarcastically.

- "Yeah Adam. Shaving cream turns into fat on your hips" Harper snorts and Chase bites his lip to keep from laughing.

- "And you think I don't know that?" Adam replies

Maddie frowns.

- "Oh my god." She mumbles.

Harper and Chase look at each other and roll their eyes "I don't know why we still tease him if he believes everything" Chase sighs.

- "Wait! Can you read any mind?" Grace asks curiously

- "You are slow." Mon-El snickers.
Maddie nudges him.
- "Yes, why?" She smiles softly at Grace.

- "Even this mind?" Grace points to her pregnant belly with a slight smile

- "No, I'm sorry. Your baby doesn't have memories yet and won't have memories until it's older." Maddie smiles sadly.

- "You can't even tell me if it's a boy or a girl?" Grace asks

- "That I can. I have X-ray vision." Maddie says.

- "Oh my god! Yey!" Grace beams and looks at Adam hopefully

- "Do you really want a total stranger, who's from another planet and another universe to tell you the gender of your baby?" Maddie frowns.

Grace shrugs

- "You seem to have a good heart" she smiles "Plus what difference does It make. I have no idea where my doctor came from as well"

- "Fair enough." Maddie snickers. "Are you sure?"

Grace looks at Adam

- "Well if there's an Adam out there who trusts you. I trust you too" Adam smiles "Who am I to question myself?"

*This is such an Adam thing to say.* Maddie chuckles. "Alright." She uses her X-ray vision to look at Grace's belly. "You're having a baby boy, congratulations!"

Grace and Adam look at each other excitedly as he holds her hand. "Wohoo! we're going to have a little Guy!" Adam beams.

"Aw my little boy." Grace smiles.

"He's going to be Adam Jr!" Adam says.

"No, he won't!" Grace says still smiling.

Harper asks Chase for money. - "I told you it was going to be a boy, you owe me." Harper says.

"Ahg Man!" Chase says.

- "Come on!." Harper asks for the money, Chase sighs and takes the money from his pocket giving it to her.

- "I swore It was a girl." Chase says frustrated. Harper smiles.

- "Can I try something?" Maddie looks at Grace.

- "Uh Okay?" Grace tilts her head curiously

Maddie walks up to her.
- "Can I touch your belly?" She asks.

- "Sure," Grace says kindly.

Maddie, gently, leans down and puts her hands on Grace's pregnant belly. She focuses on mixing her powers, until a loud heartbeat echoed in the room.

- "That's your baby boy's heartbeat." She smiles.

Everyone looks at each other impressed.

-"Woah!" Adam says impressed.

-"Oh my God." Grace says almost crying.

- "Holy Shit!" Leo widens his eyes

"That's impressive." Harper says.

- "I think it's a little scary" Douglas says.

- "Aw thanks for that, look how healthy he is." Grace holds Maddie's hand.

- "You're welcome." Maddie smiles and takes off her hands of her.

At this moment Bree walks in with Skylar, Oliver and Finn. Bree wears a police uniform which she takes off the jacket when entering the room

- "Sorry I'm late, I was on a mission" she throws the jacket to Kaz while the others sit down "What's going on?"

- "Are these the guys you said?" Oliver asks

- "Yes" Harper says

- "Yeah well. Maddie, Mon-El. A few more people you know." Leo points out

Maddie's heartbeat fastens as she looks the alter egos of her family all in the same room. "I can't do this." She gets up with tears in her eyes and walks out. She enters a storage room and closes the door behind herself. She slides down a wall as her breath quickens.

Everyone watches Maddie run out of the room. Chase sighs and closes his eyes in pity.

- "Aw, what's wrong with her?" Grace asks worriedly.

- "The last time she saw her Davenports it was nine months ago." Mon-El sighs. "She lost everything and everyone she cared about, so seeing everything one of her best friends, who are more like her family than her best friends, in the same room is difficult for her."

- "Oh that's it. I thought Leo's rich old lady perfume scared her off" Adam says.

- "Okay. That's it! I'm going to return this perfume and ask Big D for a refund!" Leo says annoyed

- "Is there anything we can do to help her?" Skylar says

- "Yeah just to make her feel better" Grace says

- "I don't know." Mon-El shrugs. "She's my sister, but I only met her a few months ago. I don't know how to help get over the lost of her family. She misses them so much."

"If we're her family there, she's our family here too." Leo says.

- "I don't like seeing her like that."Grace says with pity.

Chase keeps his eyes on the door. Thoughtful. Harper puts her hand on his shoulder telling him to go.

- "You didn't you heard? I must be the last person she wants to see right now." He says

- "I think is the quiet opposite though" Harper says calmly and Chase sighs

Mon-El crosses his arms, thoughtful.

- "I'll talk to her. In the meantime" Chase looks at Mon-El "Mon-El inform the others about the White Martian. General will help you come up with a plan" he says leaving the room.

- "It's not really my thing. I don't know how Maddie beat the last white Martian she faced." Mon-El says."I'm not a hero. I don't even work at the D.E.O."

Maddie's vision started to get blurry as she hyperventilates.

Chase approaches the door between the storage room. He knocks lightly on the door frame.

- "Hey" He smiles slightly.

Maddie wipes her eyes and cheeks as she tries to calm her breathing.

- "Look. I know I'm the last person you want to see right now. Especially since I'm not who you want me to be." He slowly walks in.

Maddie shakes her head slightly.
- "It's... It's fine." She says in between breaths.

Chase closes his eyes slightly, understanding her pain. He moves a little closer to her and kneels in front of her.

Maddie looks away from him as she tries to calm her panic attack.

- "Just breathe okay" Chase says calmly. Her anxiety and panic causing an anxiety reflex in himself.

Maddie takes a deep ragged breath.

- "Yes. Close your eyes and focus on breathing." He takes a deep breath and sighs for her to follow his breathing.

Maddie closes her eyes as tears fall down her cheeks. She takes several deep breaths.

Chase nods, clearly recognizing her panic attack. And his gaze softens.

- "It's okay. Don't worry, this is normal." He says in a soft tone. "Breathe," he whispers.

Maddie exhales loudly.

Chase smiles pitifully and nods.

- "That's it" He says softly "It's okay" He sighs.

- "Sorry." Maddie opens her eyes and looks at her hands. "I haven't had one of these in a while."

- "Me neither." Chase nods "But you're never prepared when it happens"

- "I know." Maddie sighs. "But it's so annoying."

- "It sucks" He replies "But it's not good to go through this alone" he smirks slightly

- "Guess what I'm gonna say." Maddie snickers.

Chase shakes his head.

- "You are not alone." He says firmly looking into her eyes.

- "Thanks." Maddie wipes her tears. "Until January, 90% of the time when I had one, MY Chase helped me. I wasn't alone. But, now I am."

- "You're not here" Chase sighs "I'm here"

- "Thanks." Maddie sighs. "I just... miss them so much." Her voice breaks as her eyes fill with tears again.

Chase hangs his head imagining her pain.

- "I know," He says softly, putting his hand on her shoulder. Asking for permission to hug her.

- "I think you need this" Chase smiles gently.

- "Yeah, maybe." Maddie sniffles.

Chase smiles and hugs her. It feels right somehow.

Tears silently streamed down her face, as she hugs a version of the person she loves and who is one of her best friends.

"It's going to be okay," Chase says, a strange sensation washing over him, as if he's reaching out to a distant version of himself who can feel this pain too. This connection deepens his certainty that another version of him exists somewhere, enduring the same struggle. He hugs her tighter and gives a heartbroken smile, feeling the distant pain of another version of him as he hugs her.

- "I know. It's just I need to accept that I will never see them, him again." Maddie says softly. "I thought I did but seeing you four in the same room caused me to have a panic attack, so I definitely did not accept it yet."

Chase looks into her eyes.

- "I wish I could do something" He says feeling an inexplicable mix of feelings.

- "You can't. And don't try to do your Chase thing and try to fix it." Maddie wipes her tears.

Chase looks at her thoughtfully.

- "It's my duty to fix things" He says.

- "In your universe, not mine." Maddie sighs.

- "I know, I meant it's my duty in every universe to take care of the people I love, to fight for them, that doesn't change, i know... And he loves you, you don't have to believe me" Chase pats her shoulder "but I feel it." He smiles.

- "Okay. If you say so." Maddie sighs. "Thanks, Chase." She smiles softly and wipes her eyes. "Thank God, I didn't put on makeup."

Chase smiles and puts his arm around her.

- "You don't need that." He says gently "And you're welcome."

- "And speaking of fixing things, you're actually gonna do it?" Maddie asks.

- "Do what?" Chase asks

- "Sacrifice yourself." Maddie says.

Chase takes off his arm from around her "Shit" he groans silently and sighs.

- "I have to" He replies.

- "This is so dangerous. Bram could and will kill you." Maddie frowns.

- "I know. But he won't be able to." Chase looks forward, resting his arms on his knees.

- "You don't know that." Maddie shakes her head. "It's stupid. You're gonna get killed."

- "You know the plan very well" Chase looks at her "And if I don't do this what will happen huh? I'll continue living this shitty life? This is not a life!" He says firmly.

- "Okay, firstly, don't raise your voice at me." Maddie frowns at him. "Second, Harper will hear you." She puts a soundproof shield around the room.

Chase rolls his eyes and blows his hair off his forehead impatiently.

- "I'll do it for her. And for the future I want to give her." He looks at the ground swallowing the agony for his eyes don't start watering.

Maddie sighs and puts her hand on his shoulder.

- "I know." She says. "It's the right thing to do, but it's so dangerous."

He looks at her

- "You saw my plan in depth" he says "Trust me it can work no matter how much dangerous is it?" He asks sincerely

- "Yeah." Maddie nods. "It could work. But be careful. Please."

Chase tilts his head and smirks

- "You know me" He says "I'm always careful"

- "Yeah, that's why I'm saying that. You're not always careful." Maddie says. "When it comes to saving people, sometimes you act, but don't think. This time, please do both."

- "Everything is already calculated" He says

Chase leans his head against the wall

- "And we know that if Bram wants to kill me, he'll want to do it himself. And he doesn't have the nerve or capacity to do so" He looks at her "In any universe"

- "That's fair." Maddie snickers. "But she's gonna kill you, you are aware of that, right?"

Chase presses his lips together

- "I know" He says "But at least at this point everything will be at peace"

- "I hope for you that it will work." Maddie replies.

- "I Hope too" Chase nods "You know, sometimes it's necessary to do unbelievable things for the ones you love. Even if they don't agree" He smirks slightly

- "Yeah, I know that." Maddie snickers. "Remember?"

Chase nods with a slight smile

- "Yeah. That's the point" He says

Maddie smiles softly as she pats his shoulder.

- "This feels so weird and similar at the same time." She replies.

Chase chuckles

- "I know, I feel that way too" he says. He sees Newton entering the room "Oh look who decided to show up" he says.

Newton walks up to Maddie and meows at her.

- "He must have seen you since the shield is still up." Maddie puts down the shield and pets the cat. "He's so cute."

- "Yeah. I think He likes You" Chase smiles

- "He probably smells my cat on me." Maddie chuckles.

- "You have a cat too?" Chase asks

- "Yeah. Since my birthday." Maddie smiles as she caresses Newton.

- "Want another one?" Chase points playfully at Newton.

- "Harper would definitely kill you." Maddie laughs.

Chase laughs

- "I'm just kidding. I can't be without my little Buddy" He pets Newton and he purrs "We've been through a lot together haven't we New?" The cat meows.

- "I'm not even surprised you have a cat." Maddie smiles.

- "Really? Cuz I am." Chase frowns "We've had a rocky relationship for a while. And we still have unfinished business." Chase raises his eyebrow at the cat.

Newton jumps on Chase and licks his face and Chase chuckles

- "This is adorable." Maddie chuckles. "And you are a cat person, like me, so it's not surprising that you would have gotten a cat at some point in your life."

- "I blame Harper." Chase smiles

- "But you're also grateful that she forced you to adopt him." Maddie smiles.

- "I am. The smartest cat in the world, right?" Chase tells Newton who meows "Love you too Buddy" he hugs the cat

Maddie smiles. "Aw, this is so cute."

Harper walks in

- "Oh Newton, you're here" She smiles. Chase chuckles

- "How are things around here?" She asks as Newton walks up to her and pats her leg

- "Great. Thanks to your boyfriend." Maddie smiles.

Chase smirks at her and looks at Harper.

- "Really?" Harper raises an eyebrow. Chase rolls his eyes in amusement.

- "Yes, really." Maddie snickers.

Chase shakes his head and looks at Maddie.

- "She's unbelievable, isn't she? Doubting me," He fakes indignation. Harper laughs and wrinkles her nose.

- "Yes. How dare you, Harper?" Maddie presses her lips together to stop her laughter.

Chase gets up from the floor.

- "It's just that you're usually the "needs to be calmed" one not the "I'll calm you" one." Harper looks up at him as he approaches.

Chase rolls his eyes and looks at Maddie annoyed while Harper laughs gently.

Maddie chuckles and gets up.
- "Let me guess, Mon-El was of no use?" She asks amused.

- "I wanted to say yes because I felt sorry for how hard he tried," Harper says frustratedly "But it seems like we're not going to get anywhere" she passes her hand over her forehead.

- "It seems like the "Needs to be calmed One" needs to show the General how to calm thing up a bit" Chase smirks at her briefly grabbing her chin.

- "Oh but you always knew how to solve that kind of thing" Harper sighs with her hands on her hips.

- "I'm not talking about that," Chase smirks at her and leaves. Harper widens her eyes slightly and looks at Maddie.

Maddie bursts out laughing.

- "Okay, this is even more funny than in your minds." She laughs.

Harper chuckles

- "Oh you think this is funny?" She says in amusement

- "I think this is hilarious." Maddie corrects.

- "Well..." Harper looks back "That's not the word I'd use but" she mumbles "I see your point" she laughs

- "It's the word you would use if you were the one who did it to him." Maddie says.

Harper points at her

- "Exactly" she says proudly "I like the way you think"

Maddie snickers.

- "Let's find your Martian as soon as possible. Because the more time I spend with you the more I don't want you to leave" Harper says

- "Aw." Maddie smiles. "I like it too here."

- "You're welcome here" Harper smiles.

- "You're welcome in my universe, where you superhumans are accepted." Maddie says.

- "Wow that sounds impossible here" Harper sighs upset.

- "Like you thought it was impossible to escape Krane when you were younger?" Maddie raises her eyebrows.

- "I see your point." Harper says, keeping her tone even but forcing a smile.

- "You never know what's gonna happen. Nothing is impossible." Maddie says. "I mean in my universe, the president is an alien." She shrugs and walks out of the storage room.

- "Oh I wish ours was." Harper chuckles "I'd rub that in Bram's face real good." She says angrily "Son of a bitch" she mutters.

- "I could manipulate his mind and turned Bram into the biggest pro alien/bionics the world has ever seen?" Maddie smirks.

- "Can you do this?" Harper asks

- "Yep." Maddie nods. "I never use it though, beside to hide my secret identity, because people have the right to their free will, even if they are assholes." She snickers. "But I can make an exception."

Harper laughs

- "I can't ask you to do that" she says "Bram is my problem." She sighs "Your problem is that Martian guy. Let's go"

- "Fine." Maddie nods.

Maddie and Harper walk in the meeting room again.

- "I told you to not follow me." Maddie walks up to her brother.

- "We've been over this." Mon-El says.

Bree walks up to Maddie

- "Hey, We haven't had a chance to properly introduce ourselves. Nice to meet you Maddie" Bree says and and extends her hand to her

Maddie takes a deep breath.

- "Nice to meet you Bree." She shakes her hand. "I like your hair.

- "Thank you. I love your outfit." Bree smiles.

- "Thanks." Maddie smiles back.

Skylar, Finn and Oliver get closer as well

- "It will be a honor for all of us to work with you Maddie" Finn says

- "It'll be great to have more aliens on the team" Skylar smiles.

- "It's great working with you guys here too." Maddie says.

Mon-El frowns as he looks at Leo.

Leo looks at Maddie with interest. Chase hits him in the back of the head.

- "Ow!" Leo puts his hand on his head.

- "Stop being a weirdo" Chase says and Leo rolls his eyes.

Mon-El smiles at Chase.

- "Thank you." He mouths.

Chase smirks

- "I'm not being weirdo" Leo murmurs

- "Yes you are, sit there and focus on the mission" Chase says. Leo frowns, crosses his arms and sits in the chair.

Maddie chuckles softly.

- "Kids" Chase says sarcastically

Maddie presses her lips together. "I'm younger than him."

- "Okay Maddie you call the shots, you know the target" Harper puts her hands on her hips walking to the front of the meeting room with everyone sitting at the table.

- "Okay. We're facing a white martian. His name is T'him T'huss. His species is the most cruel one in my universe. He has super strength, super speed, he reads minds, he can manipulate minds, he create illusions, he can shape shift." Maddie explains.

- "Shit. He's like a combo of every villain we've ever faced," Kaz says.

- "True. But lucky for us, a Martian's real form is revealed when he's near fire." Maddie replies.

- "Oh then i'm your Guy" Kaz stretches and glances at Bree with a smirk

- "I know. I'm gonna show you what his own human form looks like and his natural form." Maddie says.

- "Does he have any weaknesses?" Bree asks

- "Nope. That's the thing." Maddie sighs.

- "Uhg!" Finn throws his head back "I hate that kind of villain"

- "The good side is that his species is pure evil..." Maddie starts.

- "Maddie, no offense, but do you have any good news for us?" Adam says, frustrated.

- "Because he's always angry. And the more people are angry, the more they make mistakes and the easier it is to catch them." Maddie smirks.

- "That's true" Chase says

- "Okay, so now, I'm gonna show you what he looks like." Maddie adds.

- "Be ready to see the ugliest thing ever." Mon-El frowns.

- "More than Finn?" Oliver scoffs

- "No. But no matter how ugly he is, he'll definitely be more presentable than you." Finn retorts.

- "Boys" Skylar says

- "Ooookay." Maddie puts two fingers of her right hand on her temple and moves her left hand forward as she projects her memories of the white Martian in the room as if he was in the room.

She shows a 10' white alien with three fingers on each hand. "That's his original form." A 6' black man with buzz cut black hair and dark brown eyes.

"And that's his human form." And finally Chase with longer hair and a small beard and mustache. "And that's how he looked the last time I saw him." She sighs.

- "Aaahh It's hideous!!!" Adam covers his eyes at the last pic, Chase galres at him angrily.

- "It's better than you." Maddie scoffs.

- "Oohh!" Everyone in the room says.

- "I mean in my universe people think you're hot, and I really don't understand why. But anyway, they think Chase is an infinite times hotter than you. So if i were you, i wouldn't react like that to a picture of Chase, but more one of you." Maddie grins.

- "You think Chase is hot?" Leo asks

- "Um... that's a complicated one." Maddie sighs.

- "I think you're hot" Grace says to Adam and he smiles

- "Thank you baby" Adam says

Maddie frowns.

- "Definitely don't have the same definition of the word 'hot'." She murmurs.

Mon-El covers his mouth to hide his laughter.

- "He's the father of my child. I kind of have to" Grace says and Adam frowns

Maddie snickers.

- "Anyway" Harper says

- "I've been using my super hearing to try and detect his voice or Chase's. But he's not speaking so I can't find him." Maddie sighs annoyed.

- "We can access security cameras from multiple networks. And check to see if we see something suspicious," Harper tells

- "Let's do this." Maddie nods.

- "Did you hear that, Dad?" Harper snaps her fingers at Douglas.

- "On it!" Douglas leaves to the command center.

"This is so weird." Maddie thinks.

- "I think more important than how to get to him. Is how we are going to contain him once we find him?" Chase says

- "I'll knock him out because I won't get distracted if he turns into Chase. Since I apparently got over the hitting your face part." Maddie awkwardly looks at Chase. "Then, I'll open a portal and we'll go back home and I'll put him in the jail of the D.E.O."

- "And that's what I call teamwork" Harper says sarcastically

- "The D.E.O. has cells for him. You guys don't. And no offense, but I want to be the one to give him the last hit." Maddie clenches her jaw.

- "Fine. We do it your way but we still have to lure him to you. For that to happen" Harper says

- "I didn't say you couldn't help, just the knocking out part is for me. That will teach him to shape shift into Chase to destabilize me." Maddie replies.

- "You have every right to do that" Harper says

- "We can't risk him finding the headquarters, but I also don't want to lure him to a place with enough people for him to take the form of someone important." Chase thinks out loud.

- "If he takes the shift of people based on thoughts, is there any way to block him from entering our minds?" Leo asks

- "I can only block the mind of one person, not several." Maddie says.

Chase frowns

- "How exactly do you do that?" He asks.

- "It's part of my green Martians powers. I can protect people's mind. But since I'm not fully a green martian and have some of their powers by radiations, I can't protect more than one mind." Maddie explains.

- "Scientifically speaking, isn't there a way to simulate this mental block?" Harper asks

- "There is, but since I can't read the minds of the bad guys that created the mind blockers, there is no way to recreate them." Maddie sighs.

- "Ade You Sure. Maybe there's some old Mighty Med equipment that could be used for this. Kaz, Oliver, Skylar...anything?" Chase asks.

- "We've dealt with mind control before. But more with devices that control the mind, not that block control." Kaz says.

- "What if you use the same principle of this device but inverted?" Bree suggests

- "Martians telepath powers are the most powerful ones in the universe. We can go through the natural mind blocker of some species." Maddie says.

- "Uhg! Nothing works in our favor, why don't we abandon this universe and move to another?" Adam groans "I heard that the Disney universe is quite interesting"

Maddie snickers.

- "Wait. Guys, I know how we can find him." She says.

- "How?" Harper asks

- "Aw I wanted to go to Disney" Grace complains and Adam comforts her

- "The security cameras of the city." Maddie says. "His eyes will glow if we put a x-ray filter on the footages. No matter the form he is in."

- "Great!" Harper says

- "Why didn't you say so? Let's do this" Chase says

- "Because my panic attack kinda made me forget this part." Maddie replies.

- "Okay then it's not impossible to fight this guy" Leo says

- "Let's go to the command center and see if Douglas found anything" Harper says and they start to leave the room.

- "And when we are where he is, Chase can put the filter in his glasses to make sure he didn't shape shifted into someone else." Maddie adds.

- "Yeah, I just need to do some wiring repairs on it" He points to the glasses case on his waist

- "Sorry again." Maddie frowns.

- "Don't worry, again." Chase says.

- "Okay." Maddie sighs.

They enter the command center. Douglas is watching several footages of security cameras.

- "You guys do it. It's your universe and your command center." Maddie says.

- "My aircraft carrier, my headquarters, It's mine...All Mine" Chase smiles wildly with his hands on his hips.

- "Just because you run it doesn't mean it's yours" Harper says

Chase glances at her with a smirk. Maddie chuckles soflty

- "Douglas. Why did you find it?" Harper asks

- "I made a selection and i saw suspicious movements recorded on these 10 cameras here" Douglas shows 10 different footages

- "Here." Maddie points at one of the cameras where T'him in his human form is. "That's him. That's the white Martian."

- "Location?" Chase asks Douglas

- "He's circling the city border. He's not that far from us," Douglas replies.

- "Why does one of the cameras show Perry?" Adam points to one of the cameras.

- "Oh it's just because I like to keep an eye on where she is" Douglas turns around stunned "You're never completely safe"

- "That's fair. I need to go get my suit before we go, though." Maddie says. "I don't mind fighting in sexy clothes and heels, but my suit is more appropriate." She snickers.

- "Well, you could keep the heels. They're useful." Harper looks down at her high platform shoes.

- "Don't even get me started" Chase says

- "I'm good with my boots." Maddie presses her lips together.

- "Okay. While you take Care of that, how about we enjoy a program I like to call "Donny's Beauty Sleep"?" Douglas opens the camera that shows Mr Davenport in his dorm room. With a sleep mask, a green cream on the rest of his face and just his zebra print pajamas shorts.

"AAAHHGG!!" Everyone screams in disgust. Douglas laughs.

- "That's it, you're not in charge of the cameras anymore!" Chase tells Douglas, annoyed

- "He's like Leo with the fly spy." Maddie chuckles.

- "Oh Yeah I miss that thing" Leo smiles

- "I'm sure Bree doesn't." Maddie smiles back.

- "Yeah" Bree crosses her arms.

- "I still have the video" Leo chuckles

- "Send it to me?" Kaz chuckles

- "NO!" Bree shouts at him annoyed.

- "Sorry Bee. But it's only because I know how beautiful you look sleeping" Kaz kisses Bree's cheek and she holds back a smile.

- "My Bree would have a heart attack seeing this." Maddie chuckles softly.

- "Why?" Bree asks- "Because she's lesbian. And it's Kaz." Maddie says.

- "Wait! What?!" Bree frowns

- "What do you mean by "It's Kaz"?" Kaz asks offended.

- "I mean it's you." Maddie says. "Bree realized that all the guys that she liked in high school, she was just forcing herself to look straight and then bi. But when I left she had finally realized that she was only into girls."

- "Interesting," Harper mutters.

Kaz looks at Bree worriedly

- "Not gonna happen Babe. Relax" Bree caresses his face and he sighs.

- "Yeah I mean our Bree was always all boys, boys, boys and killer androids and more boys" Adam rolls his eyes. Bree looks at him annoyed.

- "I know. I read her mind. Alter egos may have the same body or not, but they never are the exact same person." Maddie says.

- "Like Maddie and Harper they are alter egos, but they look nothing like each other." Mon-El adds.

Leo frowns

- "Are you Harper's alter ego?!" Leo asks

- "Yeah. So measure your words Leo" Harper raises an eyebrow. Chase chuckles

Maddie rolls her eyes amused as Mon-El chuckles.

- "Okay. If the Martian isn't far away we need to lead him into a trap so you can capture him." Chase says

- "Where?" Adam asks

- "We're going to evacuate the bar. We're taking our team to fill the place and not raise suspicions." Harper says

- "You're going home and straight to the D.E.O. to tell them to prepare a cell." Maddie whispers to her brother.

- "But..." Mon-El starts.

- "No. You do as I say and end of discussion." Maddie replies firmly.

- "And you wonder why your students called you 'mom'." Mon-El rolls his eyes. "You act like one."

- "You really are Harper's alter ego" Adam says

Maddie rolls her eyes.

- "That's a compliment." Harper shrugs.

- "You're sure he said it that way?" Maddie raises her eyebrows.

- "He did" Harper says

- "No, I didn't" Adam says and Harper pinches his ear "Ow!!"

- "See." Maddie chuckles.

- "You're pinching Adam's ear too?" Mon-El snickers. "Do you throw him across the room too?"

Adam scoffs

- "She can't" He says.

- "Try me" Harper uses her right arm's super strength to briefly bend his arm.

- "I'm Fine. I'm Fine!!" Adam says in pain and she lets go of his arm.

Maddie chuckles.
- "After her Davenports discovered her powers, everything Adam did to Chase, she did it to him." Mon-El laughs.

Maddie glares at him. "They don't need to know that."

- "I have a bodyguard" Chase smirks.

- "I miss throwing you across the room" Adam says nostalgically

- "Try now. I dare You!" Chase threatens. Adam raises his hands

- "You guys are very violent" Grace says

- "You did." Maddie nods awkwardly.

- "From the smallest underwear pulling to being thrown across the room." Mon-El wraps an arm around his sister's shoulders.

Maddie smacks his stomach.

- "Stop it." She murmurs.

- "Uhg I was so immature back then" Adam mumbles.

- "Noooot at all." Maddie, sarcastically, shakes her head.

Adam Chuckles.

- "Okay so we'll meet you at the bar?" Harper asks

Maddie opens a portal.

- "Harper?" She calls out.

- "Really?" Harper frowns

- "You know you wanna come." Maddie says.

- "Goodbye everybody." Mon-El adds.

Harper looks at Chase and he smiles and nods.

- "I'll see you guys at the bar" he says. As Newton meows past his legs and over to Harper

- "Bye!" Everyone responds to Mon-El

- "We send a kiss from you to Mercy" Adam mocks.

Harper looks back at Maddie still thoughtful.

Mon-El rolls his eyes and enters the portal.

- "He can come too." Maddie gestures to Newton.

- "Okay" she sighs and looks at Chase.

- "Take care, Darling," he says and leans in to give her a quick kiss. Harper runs her hand down his arm as she walks away.

- "Come on Buddy" Harper tells Newton who follows her to the portal.

- "We'll be back in maximum 10 minutes." Maddie says to Chase.

- "Still, for me 10 minutes without her is an eternity" Chase looks at Harper and smirks

- "I love you" Harper chuckles. He smiles back.

Maddie chuckles and walks through the portal.

Harper and Newton follow her.

|Universe 38|

- "See you later. Bye Harper." Mon-El kisses his sister's forehead and walks out of their apartment.

- "Welcome in Universe 38 and my humble home." Maddie smiles.
Her cat looks at them from under the couch.

- "Bye, Man." Harper waves to Mon-El.
She looks around as Newton meows at Maddie's cat.

- "Humble? Haven't you seen the old junk I live in?" Harper chuckles.

Marie gets out from under the couch and sniffs Newton.

- "I only have this apartment since June, before I lived at the D.E.O. in a cave, sleeping with 20 agents in the same room." Maddie snickers.

- "You know I've slept in worse places." Harper smirks.

- "Me too." Maddie smiles and walks away. "I'm gonna put on my suit. Make yourself at home." She super speeds to her bedroom.

Harper fixes her hair that was messed up by the wind from Maddie's super speed and sees a window.

She looks out the window, observing the city and a completely new world, a universe never seen before her eyes.

- "This is crazy as hell." She mutters and hears Newton purr to Marie.

- "Aw, did you make a new friend, Buddy?" Harper smiles.

Marie purrs back as rubs her head against his neck.

Maddie super speeds back with her superhero suit.

- "Wow! you took forever." Harper says sarcastically.

Maddie chuckles and puts her hands on Harper's shoulders from behind.

- "Welcome to National City." She points at the aliens, walking in the streets freely with humans. No matter how strange and different some look.

- "I wish we had a city like that." Harper says. "Chase dreams of it."

- "One day, I'm sure it will happen." Maddie smiles softly.

- "Maybe." Harper looks intently out the window.

- "You can stay here if you want." Maddie chuckles.

Harper shakes her head.

- "If only it were that easy." She says.

- "Yeah." Maddie sighs. "I wish we could stay in contact after I leave."

Harper frowns thoughtfully.

- "Why not?" She smirks. "Why not create a multiversal communication device?" She suggests.

- "Think we can do it?" Maddie frowns.

- "Yeah, easily. If there are special communication networks, that is, with other planets, just expand the network to other universes." Harper thinks.

- "Yes. And we don't need to make a large device like they do. We can make it minuscule and put it in our phones." Maddie adds.

- "Exactly! It's not that hard to expand a network." Harper says.

- "Let's kick this white Martian's ass so we can work on in." Maddie smiles.

- "Let's do this." Harper smiles back.

- "You know I took her in on my birthday a few weeks ago and she doesn't like other people or animals." Maddie looks at Marie and Newton. "But apparently Newton managed to break her little wall." She smiles softly.

- "Yeah." Harper smiles. "He already has experience with this."

- "They're cute." Maddie smiles.

- "Yeah they are." Harper says.

- "Ready to go back?" Maddie asks.

- "Yeah. Chase must be freaking out without me already." Harper says.

Maddie chuckles and opens the portal again.

Marie meows at Newton.

- "Say bye bye to your friend, New." Harper says.

Newton meows at Marie.

- "Aw my heart can't handle this level of cuteness." Maddie says.

- "Aw Mine too." Harper says.

- "See you later, baby." Maddie pets her cat quickly.

Harper picks up Newton.

- "Come on. Your Daddy needs us." She tells him and he meows.

Maddie walks through the portal.

- "And we're back." Maddie says.
Harper drops Newton to the ground.

- "Go home baby." She says and Newton runs away.

Harper takes Maddie to the Motorage bar.

Chase and the others had evacuated the bar but they remained there acting casually in case the Martian showed up to avoid raising suspicions.

Maddie frowns as she tries to find the mental energy of the white monster.

- "I know you can hear me, coward." She says as her eyes shin red.

- "What do you want, little girl?" T'him asks in her head. "You want to see your boyfriend again?"

- "We're back." Harper says going to Chase who was at the counter with Leo and turns to them.

- "Did you miss me?" Harper asks Chase who smirks.

- "Always." He holds her chin and kisses her.

- "I missed you too Maddie." Leo smirks at her charmingly.

- "No." Maddie puts her hand on his face and gently pushes his face away. "Okay, he's answering."

- "Did I get your tongue?" T'him says in her head.

- "No. I'm just thinking about all the ways I'm gonna hurt you, before you beg me to kill you." Maddie replies.

- "'The worst she can say is no' they say." Leo says frustrated and slightly scared by the answer.

- "Come on, T'him. You turned into Chase to destabilize me because you knew you couldn't win." Maddie smirks.

- "A 17 years old kicked your 456 years old ass and you can't handle it."

- "That's not why I did it." T'him groans.

- "What's going on?" Leo frowns.

- "She's communicating telepathically with the white E.T." Harper explains.

- "Oh good. It means I still have a chance." Leo says.

- "No, there isn't. Would you stop that?!" Chase says.

- "Don't lie to yourself. You're weak. Your entire species is weak. You are a disgrace to them." Maddie says. "You can't even face me without using Chase's face."

- "I can." T'him groans. "Name a place and I'll be there to teach you a lesson, little girl."

- "There's a motorage bar on a deserted road, near the coast. Far away from the city you took us to. Come there to show me that your species is superior." Maddie adds.

Mercedes appears on the other side of the counter and opens a bottle of beer.

- "This is the girl who beat the fucking shit out of you today?" Mercedes asks Chase.

Maddie closes her eyes, in despair.

- "I'll be there." T'him says in her head.

Their telepathic communication ends.

- "He took the bait." Maddie smirks.

- "Okay. We better stay alert." Harper says.

- "If she does to E.T what she did to Chase, that will be really good." Mercedes takes a sip of beer in amusement.

- "Know that if the Martian wants to abduct you and take you far away from here I won't stop him." Chase says annoyed. "If I can I will even open the trunk door for him."

- "And I'm going to wave at you from the window and then do this..." Mercedes gives him the middle finger.

Chase rolls his eyes.

Maddie chuckles, before covering her mouth.

Mercedes looks at Maddie.

- "You need to practice a little, girl. You almost made him ugly." She points at Chase. "You have to try a lot harder."

Chase frowns. "How is it possible for her to insult me and compliment me at the same time?"

- "You're right, I need more practice because the people with super strength in my universe I punch this hard." Maddie points at Chase's face. "Always pass out. He didn't and fought me back." She smirks.

Harper smiles at Chase proudly and he smirks.

- "Oh!" Mercedes raises her eyebrow and looks at Chase. "You're the type that lasts long huh?" She says with a mischievous smile.

Harper holds back a laugh as Chase makes an annoyed face.

- "Okay, this is torture. I wanna answer so bad." Maddie chuckles and looks at Chase.

- "NO!" Chase grits his teeth.

Harper presses her lips together and Mercedes looks at Maddie in confusion.

- "What does the newbie mean by that?" She asks.

- "Nothing." Chase says quickly.

- "I read minds." Maddie presses her lips together.

- "Nooo." Chase covers his face as Mercedes gasps.

- "Oh really?" She grins.

- "I read yours too." Maddie smirks.

- "Ha!!" Chase raises his head in excitement.

- "Hey! Get your fucking eye out of my mind!" Mercedes says.

- "Already did." Maddie shrugs. "If I talked, Chase would have soooo many things against you." She smiles.
Chase frowns and looks at Mercedes as Harper laughs.

- "Shut the fuck up and forget all the shit you saw in my mind!" Mercedes says angrily.

- "But make a report to me first." Chase smirks.

- "Oh! Go fuck yourself, Cap. And don't forget to time it so I know exactly how long you last." Mercedes scoffs.

- "Oh my god." Harper closes her eyes and laughs and Chase frowns awkwardly.

- "Sadly, with my eidetic memory I know." Maddie chuckles.

Chase glances at her and blushes slightly as Mercedes rolls her eyes.

- "There's no good shit in my mind." She says taking another sip.

- "There are a few interesting things." Maddie says.

- "No! There's not!" Mercedes replies.

- "Yes there is." Maddie nods.

- "You have a big fucking problem if you think anything in my mind is worth any shit." Mercedes says.

- "If you say so." Maddie shrugs.
Ledger walks in.

- "What's going on? Have they killed E.T. yet? Is there any of his guts I can clean somewhere and make my boss curse me because she doesn't know the function of smiling on the human face?" Ledger says, going to Mercedes. She glares seriously at him.

- "Oh, Harper! In my two universes, he's Bucky Barnes." Maddie chuckles.

- "What?!!" Harper's eyes widen.

- "Oh no." Chase mutters.

- "Hey I'm Ledger." He frowns confusedly at Maddie.

- "Maddie." Maddie smiles, before turning to Harper. "I swear. His alter ego is playing Bucky."

Harper smiles wildly.

- "Oh he's perfect for this." She bites her lip to keep from smiling.

- "Am I?" Ledger smirks.

- "Get Lost or I'll call someone to clean your guts out." Chase says.

- "Chase!" Harper says, He keeps his gaze steady on Ledger who smirks sarcastically at him.

- "I really don't understand what people see in him." Maddie frowns as she looks at Ledger up and down.

- "How not?" Harper mouths at Maddie while Chase stares at Ledger.

- "Me Neither." Mercedes says with disgust and Ledger glances at her offended.

- "How can you?" Maddie mouths back with a frown of disgust.
Harper shrugs.

- "At least, Mercedes agrees with me." Maddie says.

- "100%." She scoffs.

- "Oh really?" Ledger raises an eyebrow at her.

- "Yeah, asshole." She says.

- "Someone with eyes. Yes." Maddie, sarcastically, smiled.

Mercedes frowns at Maddie's sarcastic tone.

- "I'm Better than him." Ledger points to Chase.

- "Oh You don't last that long." Mercedes laughs.

- "Would you stop that Shit!?" Chase shouts at her.

Harper comforts him and Mercedes laughs.

Maddie laughs.

- "I love you." She looks at Mercedes. "But he really doesn't last as long as the captain." She whispers to her.
Harper presses her lips together and agrees. Sure he doesn't.

- "I know. It's obvious." Mercedes whispers. "Plus I wouldn't say I love you but I liked you too." She says.

- "So obvious. I mean, Cap has bionic stamina after all." Maddie murmurs.

Harper laughs and blushes slightly.

- "Woah! That's a lot of fucking information Girl, calm down." Mercedes says.

- "You know things." Harper says to Maddie agreeing with her, smirking.

- "You're the one who started." Maddie smirks as she raises her hands. "Don't start things if you can't finish them. Like Ledger with women."

Mercedes spits out some of the beer she had drunk and starts laughing and Harper snorts while Chase, who caught the conversation in the middle, holds back from laughing.

- "Who the fuck you think you are?" Ledger says.

- "A girl cooler than you." Mercedes laughs.

- "A girl who read your mind." Maddie frowns. "I'm so sorry." She pats his shoulder. "It must be difficult to be bad at it.

- "I'm not." Ledger says. "I don't know what the fuck you saw but it's a lie." He says.

Maddie, sarcastically, nods.

- "Keep telling yourself that, little boy." She replies.
Mercedes laughs.

- "That's why you don't like to talk about your prom?" She frowns at him and He shakes his head.
Maddie nods.

- "Wow!" Mercedes laughs.

- "I was young and it's none of your fucking business." Ledger says angrily.
Maddie laughs.

- "God, I love being a telepath." She says.

Mercedes laughs and throws a cloth in Ledger's face.

- "You have work to do in the kitchen, little one. Go!" She says and Ledger leaves looking at Maddie annoyed.

- "And this is why people should stay on my good side." Maddie smirks. "Well this and that." She points at Chase's face.

Harper nods and Chase chuckles.

- "You're impossible." He says shaking his head.

- "I heard this sentence so many times. Maddie smiles.

- "I can just imagine him telling you that over and over again." Chase smirks.

- "You have no idea." Maddie chuckles.

- "May I ask." Chase leans on the counter. "How he is like?"

- "Well, you guys have a lot of similarities." Maddie says.

- "Like what?" Harper leans on Chase's shoulder.

- "You both are the nicest people someone can meet. You both are smart. You're both funny even though, stupid people don't understand your jokes." Maddie starts.

- "They're the best jokes." Harper smiles and Chase smirks looking at her from the corner of his eye.

- "I know!" Maddie replies.

- "So why do you seem to think I'm so different from him?" Chase asks.
- "Because you're older. You've been through a lot more stuff and some different from his." Maddie replies.

- "So I would say I'm a wiser version." Chase smirks smugly.

- "And more arrogant one too." Maddie scoffs.

He rolls his eyes.

- "He must be more naive I hope. More pure." Chase says calmly.

- "Depends which way you mean pure." Maddie mumbles.

- "He must be...an 100% Hero." Chase says. "Correct. No regrets, no guilt, no...panic."

- "You are too." Maddie frowns. "And you think he's not feeling guilty? He feels guilty about not being there when my mom was murdered. About not being able to save her for me. About not being to save me."

- "But he didn't hurt people did he?" Chase says seriously. "He didn't...he didn't hurt people coldly and then become known for it." He swallows the lump of regret in his throat.

- "Chase." Harper strokes his back.

- "Only Krane." Maddie sighs. "I think. I was already gone when it happens. And you did what you needed to do to survive."

Chase takes a deep breath to contain the tears in his eyes.

- "She's right, it was what you needed to do to survive." Harper tells him.

- "But it was only Krane. And if he hurt someone it was just one person too cuz that's not how he handles things when they get out of hand." Chase says. Harper sighs.

- "I don't handle things like him either." Maddie replies.

- "Well then I Think he's better than both of us." Chase says.

- "Stop." Harper says calmly.

- "No. It's okay...I have to live with it anyway but at least it's nice to know there's a version of me that doesn't." Chase looks down.

- "I can't believe me of all people is gonna say that." Maddie sighs. "But you did what you needed to do to survive and you need to stop feeling guilty about it. They were bad people, and now the world is a better place because of you. And you can't continue to feel guilty about having a good heart."

Chase glances at Harper.

- "They were my girlfriend's family." Chase says. "And if I had the nerve to do so I'm not good." He says.

- "Stop saying that!" Harper says. "You always told me I wasn't my past why it's different with you?" She says.

Chase looks down. "They were her family. Both, and I messed up with it both times." He sighs.
Maddie sighs, annoyed.

- "Stop it!" She yells. "But handle those situations like you could at the moment! You are a good person and before that you are human. You cannot control every aspect of your life. Sometimes things go wrong and you cannot do anything about it besides adapting. Which you did each time and you saved thousands of lives. So you need to understand that is was not your fault. The universe did this. You are a good person. The best i know. In each universe." She says, firmly.

Chase looks at her in surprise.

- "Remember the dream I had before..." Harper begins "The dream that reassured me, that made things clearer when we were running away." She says.

- "Yeah. You said There was a girl and she gave you advice and stuff." Chase says. Harper looks at Maddie.
Maddie smiles softly.

- "She's good." Harper smiles.

- "Seriously? But how is that possible?" Chase asks.

- "I'm the Davenports non-official therapist." Maddie jokes.

- "She sure is..." Harper points to herself. "Confirmed by Harper Davenport herself." She smiles.
Maddie chuckles softly.

- "No, but more seriously. I read the minds of thousands of people. You guys think about the dirty stuff I saw. But I learnt everything there is in their heads, including their lives experiences. That's why I'm good at giving advices." She explains.

- "Interesting way to acquire knowledge tho." Chase says.

- "Maybe but my mind is filled with doctors, chefs, scientists, musicians, detectives, whores, even psychopaths. I know a lot of things on many different subjects." Maddie replies.
Chase and Harper frown.

- "Okaaay..." Chase says. "Thanks. For the advice. And I also thank you for helping Harper in her dream. She needed it." He smiles softly. Harper smiles and lies on his shoulder.

- "My pleasure." Maddie smiles softly.

- "Look is it just me or is this the slowest White Martian in history?" Harper says.

- "Maybe he went the the bathroom and entered the toilet to join his shitty kind." Maddie shrugs.

- "Or...he may have already taken the form of one of us." Chase looks around.

- "Well scan the room Cap." Maddie says. "One question though, since I can only protect the mind of one person, who should I protect?"

- "Harper." Chase says.

- "Chase." Harper says simultaneously with him.

The two frown at each other.

- "Okay. Stop. This isn't about wanting your lover protected, it's about who's between the two of you has the more compromising things about the Mighty Force." Maddie replies.

- "Chase." Harper says.

- "Harper." Chase says simultaneously.
They both sigh and look at each other annoyed.

- "Oh my god." Maddie rolls her eyes. "Now, I understand why Leo, Bree and Adam always made fun of my Chase and I."

Harper and Chase glare at her.

- "Well you're the Captain." Harper tells Chase.

- "You have information on all the soldiers on the base." He says.

- "You have information from the entire Mighty Med and Davenport Industries database." Harper says.

Chase takes a deep breath.

- "Facts Chay." Harper says, Chase sighs.

- "Okay. Then protect me." Chase looks at Maddie.

- "Okay." Maddie nods and raises her hands. "May I?"

- "Okay?" Chase frowns at her.
Maddie puts her fingers on each of his temples and closes her eyes.

- "Done." She pulls her hands away.

- "All right." Chase takes his glasses out of the case. "Let's take a look." He puts on his glasses and turns them on.
Maddie looks around.

- "Are you here son of a bitch?" She asks.

- "I am." T'him replies in her head.

- "He's here." Maddie looks at the couple.

- "But who?" Harper frowns looking around.

- "Found anything Chase?" Maddie asks.

T'him continues to talk to the team as if he is Finn.

- "Oh no." Chase looks at Finn.

- "What?" Harper asks worried about his tone.

Chase looks at Maddie worriedly about Harper's reaction.

- "Oh no. Who is it?" Maddie frowns.

- "Finn." Chase says.

- "My brother? That son of a bitch!" Harper threatens to get up and Chase holds her back.

- "Okay, little advice, hit hard. When he's weakened he can't shape shift anymore." Maddie says.

T'him gets up and smirks, before walking out.

- "Fucking super hearing." Maddie sighs.

- "Let's go after him." Chase says.

- "Be careful." Maddie says as they walk out and face him.

- "Roxana." T'him smirks. "Oh, you found a new copy to replace your boyfriend with?"

- "Where is he?" Harper asks." And where is my brother? The real one." She asks worriedly.

- "Somewhere." T'him shrugs. "I'll hand it you, human. The thing with the glasses is smart." He looks at Chase.

- "Why don't you stop being a coward and face us as you really are?" Chase says.

- "Why?" T'him smirks. "It's fun. Isn't it, sister?" He looks at Harper.

- "You're disgusting. Where's my brother?!!" Harper shouts.

- "Adam. Bring everyone out, now!" Chase says quietly into the comm. set.

- "Dead." T'him shrugs.

- "Liar." Maddie puts a soundproof shield around the couple and herself. "You need to send someone go search for Finn. He's probably in a sort of cocoon, unconscious."

- "Fine." Chase says. "Bree, Skylar, Oliver go after Finn, he's the imposter. The Martian must be keeping him somewhere." He says in the comm. set.

Adam, Leo and Kaz appear at the bar door.

Maddie takes down the shield.

- "What's wrong, princess?" T'him mocks. "You needed to whine to the copy of how much you miss your pretty boy?"

- "I'm not a copy you son of a bitch." Chase says angrily.

- "And that's the only manipulative move you have, you idiot!" Harper shouts keeping her frown.

- "You are for her. You will never be her Chase. You are just a temporary replacement." T'him says. "A pale copy of the man she loves."

- "You're pathetic." Maddie scoffs.

- "Oh stop believing that you can move anyone with your cheap psychology." Chase says.

- "You're so pathetic that you have to live other people's lives for yours to make any sense." Harper shakes her head.

T'him glares at them.

- "What's wrong, asshole? Are your
L feelings hurt?" Maddie mocks. "Are you gonna cry?"

T'him shape shifts into his natural 10' white monster form.

- "There he is." Maddie frowns, in disgust.

- "Uhg!" Chase makes a disgusted face.

- "The spider you and Douglas created was prettier than him" Harper tells Chase.

- "Hey don't compare Spidey to that thing!" Leo approaches along with Adam and Kaz.

- "You cannot compare him to the spider. That thing was atrocious." Maddie frowns, in disgust.

- "You're right. The spider was worse." Harper shivers at the memory.

- "Are we going to measure his ugliness or are we going to break his face?" Adam asks.

T'him launched at them.
- "That fucking spider. It's the only time I hurt my Chase." Maddie says as she kicks the white Martian, who stumbles back, before rushing towards them again.

As T'him advances towards Chase and Harper, Chase uses super speed to run towards him. he somersaults and kicks the Martian in the face.

T'him becomes unstable and Harper runs, gathering strength to punch him in the face, he groans in frustration.

"What did you do to him?" She asks Maddie

The 10' alien growls.

- "I kicked his ass and Douglas'." Maddie flies to punch him with her super strength in the face.

- "I should have done that. I was the one who almost died because of it." Adam charges his blast wave but instead of releasing the energy he concentrates it in his fists to increase the strength of his punches.

- "Aaahh!!" He screams, punching the alien in the chin with his right fist and a stronger punch in the stomach with his left fist.

T'him stumbles backwards and Maddie uses her heat vision on his chest, making him scream.

- "That's fair." She replies.

Adam uses heat vision as well as teaming up with Maddie.

Leo reflexively kicks him with his bionic leg and Kaz gains momentum by flying and punching the Martian in the head using his fire powers so that the punch hurt him more.

At the same time, Maddie super speeds towards T'him and kicks him in between the legs.

He roars, in pain.

- "Bring back any memories?" Maddie smirks at Chase.

Chase glares at her and rolls his eyes "I'm gonna kill Trevor one day for that"

- "Don't push it" He grits his teeth and Harper laughs.

Maddie chuckles.

T'him launches at Chase and tries to punch him, but Maddie grabs his leg and makes him turn in the air, before throwing him away.

T'him groans in pain as he got up.

Harper geo-leaps on top of him give a super strength punch to the back of his head as she falls and lands the ground. The Martian falls to the ground again.

T'him gets up and grabs her by the throat.

- "Harper!!" Chase shouts.

- "Let her go!" Adam fires heat vision at him.

T'him uses his density-shifting to enter in phase, the lasers passing through him without hurting him.

- "You missed." He smirks.

- "Fuck!" Adam murmurs

Harper menages to use her super strength to ease his fingers from her throat.

T'him groans in pain and lets her fall.

Maddie super speeds to catch Harper, before she hits the ground.

She, gently, puts her down.

- "Aw my hero" Harper smirk putting her hand on her chest playfully "Thanks"

- "Next time I'm letting you fall." Maddie snickers.

- "Next time I'll catch you" Harper says in amusement

T'him super speeds towards Leo, body slamming him to the ground.

- "Leo!" Maddie yells.

- "I'm fine sweetheart." Leo groans on the ground "I'm strong"

- "Leo, I swear to God, if you continue and I'm killing you, before him." Maddie threatens as she grabs T'him and throws him towards Adam and Harper.

Leo sighs.

- "I haven't been single since I was 15 give me a break" He says.

Harper and Adam exchange a look and attack T'him at the same time with punches and kicks.

- "Yeah, but in my universe, you're my brother. And this is gross." Maddie frowns as she helps him up.

- "You said it yourself that alter egos are not the same person" Leo winks.

- "What if it was Harper's alter ego flirting with you?" Maddie raises her eyebrows.

Leo looks at Harper as she kicks and punches T'him.

- "Not that bad tho" He raises his eyebrow.

- "Excuse me?" Chase frowns.

- "I mean Ew! Harper blah!" Leo says.

- "Okay. You wanna play it like that. Bree isn't biologically your sister and I'm not my Leo's. So, Bree's alter ego flirting with you." Maddie crosses her arms.

- "You got a point" Leo makes a frustrated face.

Maddie nods.

T'him throws Adam across the road.

- "Again?" Maddie frowns and flies after him to catch him before he falls.

- "That guy is really pissing me off!" Adam groans.

Kaz is thrown against a dumpster and hits the ground.

- "I'm fine thanks for asking" He groans on the ground.

- "Sorry Kaz!" Maddie frowns.

She puts Adam down and super speeds towards T'him using her super breath to push him away.

- "How many punches does it take to shake this guy's life bar? I want to go for the K.O. right away." Leo sighs tiredly.

- "Hang in there Bro" Chase says.

Chase takes a step back, slightly losing his balance, and then super speeds towards the alien, kicking him in the back.

Chase slides under his legs and punches him in the stomach as the Martian leans over in pain Chase super speed gaining momentum towards his face elbows him in the face and grabs his neck trying to throw him forward.

T'him smirks and shape-shifts into Harper.

- "Chay..." He says with her voice.

Chase throws him forward, making him fall to the ground and frowns with his fist clenched ready to throw a punch.

- "Do you think I'm an idiot?" He says seeing Harper who looks at the fake version of her confused and offended.

- "Nobody calls him Chay but me, you son of a bitch!" Harper advances on him and starts fighting. He threatens to trip her but she jumps out of the way and punches him in the face.

- "Alright. If doesn't work, then this will." T'him smirks and shape-shifts into Krane.

Harper freezes with a lump forming in her throat.

- "Krane" Chase whispers shaking his head in disbelief.

- "Come on, boy. You've killed before. You can do it again!" T'him shouts with Krane's voice as he pushes Chase backwards.

Harper's breathing becomes shaky "D-dad" She whispers with tears of despair forming in her eyes

Chase falls to the ground from the push and shakes his head in a daze.

- "I'm not a murderer" He shouts his eyes filling with tears "I swear I'm not"

- "Guys. It's not real." Maddie says and extends her hand to Chase.

- "Don't listen to her. I'm very real." T'him continues.

- "I won't hurt him again" Chase blinks letting a tear fall.

- "But I will!!" Harper says with a mixture of anger and pain "You ruined everything! For all of us!!" She pushes him hard "I hate you!" Her punch grows weak with the weight of her feelings and T'him grabs her wrist.

- "How dare you, daughter?" T'him pushes her backwards. "You destroyed our family. You betrayed me!"

- "I should have done much more than that. Me and my sisters should have done more!!!" Harper punches him, foor good this time "You never deserved us you coward!"

Chase puts his hand on his chest and takes a deep breath "It's not real. It's not real. It's not real" He hangs his head.

Maddie frowns and crouches down in front of him.

- "Breathe." She says softly. "This is not real. You're okay. We're here."

Chase takes a deep breath and looks at her.

- "I can't." He says with rapid breathing "He's too strong. He's stronger than me. I..." He grabs his hair.

- "No, he's not." Maddie frowns. "After everything that happened, you are the strongest person I know. Fight it. Fight him. Breathe and get up." She says softly. "Come on, Chase."

T'him uses his telekinetic powers to level Harper off the floor.

- "You are such a disgrace to my blood." He says.

- "You are the one who is a disgrace to my existence" Harper says breathlessly.

Chase runs his hand through his hair taking a deep breath and sighing loudly.

- "Yeah," he sighs, "What the fuck am I talking about?" He looks at Maddie, "I'm the Captain. I'm the one who decides who's the strongest. I'm the one who makes the rules" He smirks.

- "Exactly." Maddie smiles and gets up. "Now, get your ass up." She extends her hand.

- "You're pathetic." T'him scoffs. "You made your family suffer for nothing. You ruined their lives."

Chase looks at Maddie's hand and takes it.

- "Let's fucking go?" He asks her with determination to attack T'him along her.

Harper frowns as her convictions make her realize she is under an illusion. She looks at Chase and Maddie almost completely breathless.

- "Let's fucking go." Maddie nods at Chase and super speeds towards T'him. She kicks him in the crook of his knee, making him fall on both of his knees, releasing Harper.

Chase super speed right behind her grabbing the Martian's neck and kneeing him in the back of the neck followed by a kick.

T'him roars in pain as he shape-shifts into his own human form.

- "Oh, look, who's getting tired." Maddie mocks, using her feet to push him completely onto the ground.

Harper catches her breath.

- "Uhg! son of a Martian bitch!" She complains as Chase walks over to her "Chay" she looks at him and he helps her up.

- "Harp" he hugs her briefly.

They see the Martian on the ground.

- "It's about time!" Harper sighs.

T'him gets up.

- "You are dead." He says in Martian.

- "You can try." Maddie glares at him.

Adam approaches.

- "Can we just get on with it? I promised Grace I would cook for her today," He says. "And she gets really sophisticated pregnancy cravings sometimes."

- "We'll see about that, princess." T'him says.

Maddie frowns.

- "Uhg, I can't believe he played the "Princess" card" Harper says in disgust.

Maddie presses her lips together. "Well, I am one."

- "Right. You don't know." T'him chuckles. "Your 'friend' Maddie is..."
Maddie punches him in the mouth.

- "Sorry I didn't hear you with Maddie's fist in your face" Harper brings her hand closer to her ear "What did you say Dipshit?"

T'him spits out blood.

- "She's an actual prin..." He starts, before Maddie punches the other side of his face. "You are starting to piss me off!"

- "It's mutual!" Harper runs up to him, her fist starts to glow and she punches him, throwing his face straight into the ground, breaking the asphalt. with a crater the exact shape of his face.

Adam widens his eyes.

- "Daaaamn!" Leo says walking closer.

- "What the hell was that?" Chase asks.

- "It's the kind of thing I only save for special occasions. Just know that it's not my best yet," she says, looking at the shiny veins of her arm.

- "I love you so much." Maddie chuckles.

T'him gets up.

- "What now?" Maddie frowns.

- "This." T'him shape-shifts into Xalyna.

Maddie's face drops.

- "Recognize me?" T'him smirks. "I pierced a sword through your mommy's heart and I'm ONE of the first people you killed."

Maddie's breath quickens as tears, silently, roll down her cheeks.

- "Oh No" Harper says and takes a step back.

- "Maddie. It's not real! Remember?!" Chase says approaching her worriedly.

- "Remember your mommy's gasps as she dies in your arms after you killed me and my friends." T'him adds.

Maddie lowers her head, as she cries.

- "Maddie! Look at me!" Chase holds her shoulders tightly "Look at me!!" He says firmly in despair.

- "Don't you have any more cards up your sleeve for a moment like this?" Leo asks Harper.

- "I can't" Harper says "She needs to come to her senses before I do anything"

Maddie looks at Chase in the eyes.

- "She died because I didn't do anything." Tears stream down her face.

- "That's right. You let her die. You let me kill her." T'him smirks and starts to walk away.

- "It's not your fault!!" Chase says "She loved you, embrace that and fight for her memory. Keep her memory and what she believed in alive! Be the hero I know you are, don't let him control you!" He says still holding her shoulders.

Maddie sighs loudly and wipes her tears.

- "Thank you." She says.

- "Finish him off" Chase smirks and let go of her shoulders "It's an order" He mocks.

Maddie scoffs.

She flies away and body slams T'him, who was leaving. She gets up and grabs one of his legs. She rises his body and makes him hit on the ground one, two, three times, raising his body every time. She lets go of his unconscious white 10' form.

- "That's our Maddie" Harper smiles at her.

Maddie smirks and grabs his foot, dragging his body.

- "Thank you." She looks at Chase.

- "I'm the one who thanks you" Chase smirks "For many reasons, one of them is for you not doing this" he points to T'him, unconscious "to me"

Maddie presses her lips together.

- "I almost did." She sighs.

- "Luckily I'm stronger than that asshole" Chase says smugly. Harper frowns "Just Go with it!" He tells her.

- "No, I totally agree with you, Chay" Harper raises her hands.

Maddie chuckles.

- "Sorry again." She says.

- "Stop apologizing!" Chase rolls his eyes "it's getting annoying" he smirks in amusement.

- "I'm sorry!" Maddie chuckles. "But have you seen your face?"

- "No and I don't plan on looking in a mirror any time soon so don't worry" Chase replies.

Maddie rolls her eyes.

- "Okay. So, I'm going to the D.E.O. to put this son of a bitch in a cell. Anybody wants to come?" She asks. "J'onn aka the green Martian and Supergirl will be there."

- What?!!!" Leo shouts in a high, thin voice Harper covers her ears.

- "Are you serious?" Chase smiles.

Soon after, Bree, Skylar and Oliver return with Finn leaning on the two girls.

- "Bro!" Harper runs up to him and hugs him.

- "I'm so sorry. I left the bar for a second and that guy caught me. I couldn't do anything" Finn says.

- "It's okay" Harper sighs "I'm glad you're okay" she says relieved.

- "It took us a while to find him. He was in the basement of the garage in a cocoon like Maddie said" Bree explains.

- "And it took even longer for us to have the courage to take him out of there since we didn't know exactly why he could get out of that thing" Skylar adds.

- "I still have my doubts about whether an alien can come out of his chest or not, so I wouldn't get too close." Oliver pulls Skylar closer to him and she rolls her eyes. Finn glares at him.

- "Oh you guys got the Martian!" Bree points out.

- "Yeah." Maddie nods at Chase and Leo. "Glad to see you're okay, Finn."

- "Thanks" Finn smiles.

- "So you were talking about Supergirl?" Leo clears his throat.

- "Yes." Maddie smiles. "She's kinda my mentor. And she's definitely waiting at the D.E.O. to see if I'm okay. So you wanna come?"

- "Nah I'm more of a Batman kind of guy--" Leo says sarcastically "You're kidding! Of course I do!" He shouts.

Maddie chuckles.

- "A Leo is a Leo after all." She says.

- "I would love to go but like I said Grace is waiting and she gets really upset when I'm late." Adam says.

- "Maybe later. After your baby boy is born, you guys could come." Maddie replies.

- "Yeah." Adam smiles proudly "I'll want you to meet him."

- "I would love to." Maddie smiles.

- "I think we better stay here and clean up this mess before Mercy notices" Bree says and Kaz, Oliver, Skylar and Finn agree.

- "I want to go this time," Chase says and puts his arm around Harper "It's not every day that you have this opportunity"

- "Okay." Maddie nods. "I'll bring them back in one piece, don't worry." She looks at the rest of the team. She opens a portal and grabs the white Martian's foot. "See you later, guys." She walked through it with the body.

- "See you!" Everyone waves.

- "What are you waiting for?! Let's Go!" Leo says with a wild smile and follows Maddie.

Chase rolls his eyes in amusement and looks at Harper, holding out his hand for her to take.

- "Come on" Harper takes his hand and pulls him into the portal.

In the headquarters lab. Harper and Maddie after visiting the universe 38 and arresting the White Martian in the D.E.O. The two geniuses began working on a multiversal communication device as they had previously said.

Harper peered through a magnifying glass at two tiny chips, fiddling with their wiring with tweezers.

- "They're we Go!" She puts the tweezers aside "This bad boys should be able to handle it" she takes a cell phone out of her pocket and puts it on the table "Do you have a cell phone? Because I grabbed this one out of a junk box five minutes ago."

- "Yeah." Maddie chuckles and takes out her phone. "I can't believe we created those chips this fast."

- "I'm not surprised" Harper shrugs "We're good like this" she smiles and opens both phones.

Newton approaches the table and smells the chips.

- "Hey! No!" Harper tells the cat, taking him off the table, "That's not food. Go and annoy your daddy! you know it doesn't take much effort to do that." She puts the cat on the floor, "Go!" she says, and Newton runs away.

Maddie chuckles and starts to, carefully, place the chips.

- "It's gonna be good to be able to talk to each other after I leave." She says. "I'll put one of Mon-El's phone as well."

- "Do you want me to give him Mercy's number?" Harper holds back a laugh as she inserts the other chip into her phone.

- "No. He's in love with Kara." Maddie smiles. "Even though, he won't tell her."

- “Like sister like brother.” Harper closes her phone again.

- "Gnagnagna." Maddie mocks as she closes her own phone.

Harper laughs and steps away from the table looking at her phone.

- "Okay now we just need to test. But we need to test it for good" She points to Maddie "Now I need you to open a portal to the furthest universe you can find. And I'll send you a message. Got it?"

- "Got it." Maddie opens a portal and walks through it.

- "Oh this is going to be amazing!" Harper types a *Hey Girl! ; )* and sends it.

*Hey back!* Maddie sends. *It's working.*

- "It works!!!" Harper gasps with an excited smile and calls Maddie on a video call.

- "Hey." Maddie smiles on the phone.

- "Oh that works too!! And no delay, no crashing. It's perfect!!" Harper walks around the room smiling at her phone until she frowns "Can't say the same about my hair tho" she fixes her hair looking at the camera on her phone.

Maddie chuckles.

- "Douglas and Donnie are gonna be SO jealous." She says.

- "Oh Yeah. I mean Mr Davenport for sure but I feel like Douglas is going to be proud of us. And Chase will..." Harper presses her lips together.

- "Harper! Are you seeing that?!" Maddie turns her camera to show an army of androids flying in the sky.

- "Okay Maddie, we've proven our point, you can get out of there now." Harper frowns worriedly.

- "Totally." Maddie opens a portal and comes back in the headquarters. "That was so weird. There was Perry's face everywhere!"

- "What the hell kind of universe were you?" Harper turns off her cell phone.

- "I have no idea." Maddie frowns. "And I don't want to find out." She puts her phone back in her skirt pocket.

- "Let's leave it there. Far away from us" Harper shakes her head.

- "Definitely." Maddie nods.

- "Anyway. It works, we created a functional multiversal communication network!" Harper beams "In less than a day! Boom!" She celebrates.

- "We are THAT good." Maddie raises her hand for a high-five.

- "You bet we are!!" Harper high fives her.

- "So this is goodbye?" Maddie asks.

Harper sighs.

- "I was trying to avoid this moment." She tilts her head.

- "Me too." Maddie sighs as well. "It was so awesome."

- "More then awsome. It was awesome on a cosmic scale." Harper chuckles "Promise you won't forget about us?" She smirks.

- "I have an eidetic memory, I can't." Maddie snickers. "Besides, this was way too weird to forget about it."

- "Same" Harper points to her head "And oddly enough, that wasn't the weirdest day of my life. But definitely one of the most epic"

- "To be fair, you weren't in front of the alter egos of your lost family." Maddie replies.

- "I have other traumas to deal with, Kid" Harper says.

- "I saw." Maddie nods.

Harper nods and sighs looking at her hand.

- "Here." She takes one of the rings off her finger. A thin, delicate ring with a small purple stone "So you have another memory to carry. A good one this time" Harper smiles handing the ring to Maddie.

Maddie takes off her floral ring.

- "Let's exchange." She smiles.

- "Cool" Harper takes Maddie's floral ring and puts it on her finger "That way no one is missing...Yeah, well. I have one missing but it's not permanent" Harper smirks "I hope" she frowns thoughtfully.

Maddie puts on Harper's ring.

- "It's really pretty. Thanks." She says.

- "You're welcome. Thank you too." Harper looks at her hand and smiles "I loved It"

- "You're welcome." Maddie smiles. "On a scale of 1 to 10, how much do you think Chase is happy to know I left and won't be able to annoy him anymore?" She chuckles.

- "Uuuh" Harper laughs "I'm gonna guess a 5" she thinks "Because I know he liked you. But you annoyed him a lot!"

Maddie laughs.

- "I couldn't help it. His face was hilarious every time." She replies.

- "I can't lie on this one" Harper chuckles "He asks for It"

Maddie nods.

- "You're aware that I'm going to keep bothering you now, right?" Harper shows her cell phone and smiles "I'm a person who likes kitten videos, so I'm warning you."

- "I love them." Maddie smiles back "Do you want me to send you the hot edits on Chase of my current universe?" She smirks.

- "Oh Shut the fuck up!" Harper laughs "Does that exist?" She asks.

- "Oh, yeah." Maddie nods. "In my current universe, he's a fictional character, remember?"

- "Yeah. But I still don't believe it. Please send it to me but I'll never show it to him." Harper laughs "He can't handle it"

- "The worst is the comments." Maddie presses her lips together.

- "Oh I'll make some" Harper chuckles.

- "Our? Men/Man... Whatever. They really make people horny." Maddie chuckles.

Harper snorts a chuckle and nods.

- "Can't blame them." Maddie shrugs.

- “Nope.” Harper shakes her head.

Maddie sighs.

- "I'm gonna go." She says.

Harper opens her arms.

- "Alter Egos hug, come on" She says.

Maddie chuckles and hugs her.

- "I'm gonna miss you." She replies.

Harper hugs her tighter.

- "Me too." She says.

Maddie smiles into the hug as she hugs her tightly.

- "Until the end of the universe?" Harper smirks.

- "Until the end of the universe." Maddie nods.

Harper smiles and slowly breaks the hug.

Maddie opens a portal.

- "Bye." She says.

- "Bye" Harper says softly and waves with a gentle smile.

- "Take care of them." Maddie replies.

- "Of Couse. That's what I'm here for." Harper smiles.

Maddie smiles back and waves, before walking through the portal and closing it behind her.

Harper sighs loudly, a few seconds later Chase walks in.

- "Has she left yet?" He asks.

- "Yeah" Harper nods "I miss her already" She whines pouting.

- "Aw Harp" Chase smirks and walks up to her hugging her.

*Miss you already.* Maddie texts.

Later that day, Harper and Chase are in the command center, working on the White Martian capture mission report and registering Maddie and Mon-El in the Mighty Force database. They are now officially recognized heroes, and their alien species have been logged, an essential step for future emergency contacts.

While they are engrossed in the database, Harper receives a message from Maddie: "Urgent, need everyone in the kitchen, now!"

- "Oh no" Harper says.

- "What?" Chase asks.

- "Maddie said it's urgent and needs everyone in the kitchen" She replies standing up.

- "In the kitchen?" Chase frowns.

- "With everything you've seen today, you shouldn't question that." Harper frowns. Chase thinks and shrugs.

- "Fair point." He says.

- "Yeah. Come on!" Harper says. The two run off to the kitchen in their quarters. Adam and Grace receive a warning and come out of their room.

- "He's back?!" Adam asks as he puts on his shirt. Grace walks behind him in a robe and teddy bear slippers.

- "I hope this is a very bad emergency to disturb my nap" she says.

Harper and Chase walk into the kitchen and stop short seeing the dining table full of fresh food.

Grace and Adam come across the same thing.

- "Woah!" Adam says.

Right after Bree, Leo, Kaz, Oliver, Skylar, Finn, Melody and Douglas Run in.

- "Who did all this?" Kaz asks.

- "Maddie" Harper replies.

- "Aw she's so perfect" Leo smiles and Chase glares at him "I'm saying this sincerely. I'm over it" he adds.

- "That's so sweet" Bree smiles.

- "Uh look lasagna" Adam takes a step forward and Grace pushes him.

- "Get Out! Pregnant and hungry woman passing by!" She says running towards her as far as possible.

- "I can't believe she did all this just to say thank you. It's so kind," Melody says.

- "Indeed" Douglas chuckles and walks over to the table.

- "What are we waiting for?" Kaz says and pulls Bree to the table.

Everyone starts helping themselves to their favorite foods.

- "God. I don't remember the last time I had this much food in front of me?" Oliver says serving himself and Skylar as well.

- "I know. I don't even know what real food testes like anymore." Skylar says.

- "Damn this smells so good. Do you think she cooked it all?" Finn says picking up a plate.

- "Probably" Chase says

- "I'm starving!!" Leo smiles wildly.

- "Why do you want Smiley Face?" Adam pulls out a chair for Grace.

- "Babe, can you put a little bit of-- everything on my plate?" Grace passes the plate to him "I eat for two" she smiles.

Harper spots a card on top of a box and one of the plates. She picks up the card and it says "Smart-ass" on the top. She smirks and passes the card to Chase.

- "That's for ya Chay" Harper says.

- "Smart-ass. Really?" He rolls his eyes and Harper laughs.

He opens the card and inside it says "I'm sorry for breaking your glasses. Since I read Douglas' mind, i knew exactly how to build you new ones. Hope they are almost as good as the others. Maddie."

Inside the box are brand new glasses, just as beautiful as his old ones. A smile spreads across his face.

"She's impossible," he says, taking the glasses out.

- "They are beautiful" Harper says.

Chase puts on the glasses and turns them on and they work perfectly.

- "So?" Harper asks.

- "Wow they are so accurate" He smiles "How do i look tho?" He asks Harper.

- "Like a Smart-ass" She tilts her head and Chase rolls his eyes.

The two sit at the table.

- "Do you think we should be concerned about the fact that other universes can access ours so easily?" Chase asks.

- "You say. Should we be concerned that threats, like the White Martian, are careless in using our universe as a refuge?" Harper frowns.

- "Or as a target" Chase adds.

Harper sighs.

- "I'm not going to be an idiot and believe that we shouldn't worry about it. But honestly, right now there's nothing we can do." Harper says and takes a forkful of food.

- "Well... but we have someone who knows the multiverse in depth at least" Chase smirks looking at Maddie's card.

- "Are you saying we have a member of the Mighty Force army out there in the multiverse, Captain?" Harper teases.

Chase chuckles, shaking his head.

- "Yeah, I'd say so, General."

Harper smiles, reaching for his hand and leaning in to give him a soft kiss on the cheek. They both return to their meals, and enjoy the special dinner.
