Bree is getting her meal in the prison cafeteria, as she passes the tables she feels the stares of many super humans who blame her and the Elite Force for being there.

Bree goes to the table where Kaz is sitting, he shuffles a deck of cards "here!" Bree hands him a bottle of juice "Thanks, I'm dying of thirst" Kaz says.

Bree starts stirring the mashed potatoes she got "Okay! Ready to lose to the master of cards....again!?" Kaz smiles as he shuffles the cards from one hand to the other.

Bree just looks at him quickly and goes back to the bowl "Hey, what's wrong? You love it when I say I'm the master of cards!" Kaz smirk "because it usually means the victory has gone to your head and that's the moment you lose" Bree says.

"come on Messy, smile at me" Kaz says, Bree sighs "I can't take this place anymore Kaz, people here hate us, I miss my family" Bree says, Kaz gets up and sits next to Bree.

"I know, but I promise we're going to get out of here soon" Kaz hugs her, stroking her head, which is lying on his chest "You're not sure about that" Bree says "I feel like it's going to happen soon" Kaz says.

Bree looks at him "what would I do without you and your positivity in this prison?" Bree says calmly "it would be boring, huh!?" Kaz smirk "so boring!" Bree says.

"Lucky I have cards up my sleeve!" Kaz says taking out a card from his sleeve "no more card magic!" Bree says, Kaz tilts his head and gently passes the card across her chin making her laugh.

"And then we have a smile... Magic!" Kaz smiles, Bree smiles and fixes his messy hair, Kaz just as she looks tired, Bree leaves her hair in a messy bun, and Kaz tries to keep his hair in place but the heavy prison routine doesn't help.

They hear Oliver being forcibly removed from the maximum security wing "Let go of me!" Oliver says struggling, the security guards push him aggressively and Oliver leans against the wall.

"what's going on?" Bree says "he tried to break into the maximum security wing to see Skylar again" Kaz says "apparently he got caught" Bree says "again!" Kaz says.

Oliver approaches the table, His hair is longer, and he has a slight mustache starting to grow, he passes his hand over his face.

"I was close to her, I went in there and she saw me this time but they caught me before I said anything to her" Oliver sits at the table impatiently "I'm sorry Oliver" Bree says.

"Well maybe it's better if she doesn't see you now...I mean she remembers the neat and cute Oliver, maybe she'll be scared to see this stoned beggar you look like now" Kaz says, Oliver glares at Kaz fixing his hair and rumpled clothes.

"I look like this because I haven't slept in days" Oliver says "why not?" Bree says "have you heard the sounds you can hear at night in this place? It Freaks me out!" Oliver says.

"all I hear at night is Kaz talking while sleeping in the saddle next to me" Bree says "at least I don't snore!" Kaz says "No, but it's equally annoying" Bree says irritated.

"Well I think nobody will want to play cards with me anymore" Kaz says, Oliver rolls his eyes and smiles "split the cards" Oliver says "now we're talking!" Kaz says.

"Davenport! Call you" a police officer tells Bree "I'll be right back" Bree says she leaves leaving Oliver and Kaz playing cards at the table.

"Here it is!" Kaz passes the cards to Oliver.

"so... how are you and Bree doing huh?" Oliver asks, Kaz sighs "I don't know man, I mean so far we're great but...I don't know what will happen if we get out of here" Kaz says.

"what do you mean?" Oliver ask "I don't know, it seems like it is, what happens in prison stays in prison kind of thing, you know" Kaz says with a broken smile.

"I don't think so" Oliver says "No?" Kaz says "be honest something was going on between you guys long before we came here" Oliver says.

"correction something happened between us long before, at that party remember!?" Kaz says "Yes I remember, that's what I was referring to" Oliver says "I know I just wanted to remember because that was amazing" Kaz chuckles.

"Anyway, you two always had something going on and I don't think it will end when we get out of here...if we get out of here" Oliver says "I don't know, we always said that whatever happens is okay,and that we're friends" Kaz says, Oliver thinks.

"when was the last time you two seriously talked about this?" Oliver asks "It was a month...b-before we were arrested" Kaz says "It's been a year! You guys need to talk about this!" Oliver says.

"Ah no, why? Talking is complicated and our relationship is messy but...if you think about it that's what makes it exciting!" Kaz says.

"You'll never be at peace until you clarify things with her, you're not even sure she likes you too" Oliver says "And that's why I don't ask!" Kaz says "You're unbelievable" Oliver says.

"I didn't plan any of this Oliver, it just happened... and it's still happening, I don't know if there's even a need to clarify things" Kaz says.

"do you love Bree?" Oliver says, Kaz stays silent "I know you're in love with her, that's why I can't stand seeing you living with these doubts and this uncertainty that she will always be yours" Oliver says.

Kaz is thoughtful, he sighs "just play the cards" Kaz says, Oliver and he start to play.

Meanwhile, Bree received a call from Leo, whenever he could and the authorities allowed, he called Bree to see how she was doing.

"How are things over there?" Leo asks "going, but what about you? How has your new life as a leader been?" Bree asks.

"complicated, very complicated" Leo says "Relax, I always thought you'd make a great team leader, you can do it!" Bree smiles, Leo sighs.

"They're going to destroy the chips" Leo says "what?" Bree says "they say they're no longer necessary, that the human race can handle everything on its own so.... that's what end of bionic humans" Leo says.

"Tell me you don't believe that?" Bree says "of course not! But I can't risk the Elite Force's name any more than it's already been risked" Leo says, Bree puts her hand on her forehead.

"It sucks, but we need people's trust, all we can get" Leo says, Bree sighs "What about Chase, Harper and Adam...any news on them?" Bree asks worriedly.

"We have nothing, they send police forces to look for them every day, they monitor everything but so far nothing, and the little information they do get they don't want to tell us" Leo says, Bree leans her head against the wall

"Wow...I don't even know what to say" Bree says "I'm sure they're fine" Leo says "I want our family back, Leo" Bree says "We're together no matter the distance" Leo says.

"I never thought I would miss living and working with my family on that island" Bree chuckles upset, Leo smiles.

"I wish there was a way to know when we're in the good old days, before you actually left them" Leo says "I know we'll never go back to what we were...that island doesn't even exist anymore" Bree says.

"maybe because something bigger is being built in our future" Leo says "I love you, little bro" Bree says with a tear running down her face "I love you too sis" Leo smiles.

"I have to go" Bree says "take care of yourself, and take care of the rest of the team" Leo says "you too" Bree says she hangs up the phone and sighs loudly putting her hand on her face.

Later Bree, Kaz and Oliver are taken back to their saddles, Bree is lying on the bed reflecting.

Kaz and Oliver throw a ball of paper to each other,when a security guard comes and takes the ball "Enough of this game!" He says "come on man, we don't have anything else to do here!" Kaz says.

Bree gets up and goes to the railing to see what's happening "Listen here, freak...!" The security guard starts but he stops when he hears something, the lights start to flash.

The security guard looks at the end of the dark corridor and sees a human figure "Who's there!?" He says approaching, Kaz and Oliver look at each other confused.

The lights in the corridor go out and it is still possible to see the human silhouette at the end of the corridor "You! Get back in your saddle!" The security guard says.

The lights come on and the figure disappears, the security guard frowns in confusion, the lights go out and the figure is closer, they light up and the figure disappears, when they go out again it is closer

The security guard tries to cover it up but he is distressed, every time the light goes out, the figure approaches him.

The security guard takes the gun when the figure appears two meters away from him and disappears, he points the gun forward, slightly shaking.

"I'm not going to say it again!" The security guard says, the light goes out again and the figure appears behind him and suddenly attacks him from behind holding the gun he shoots towards Oliver's saddle, he bends down.

The light turns on revealing that the figure is a girl, she twists the security guard's arm and lightly electrocutes him with her own hands to make him pass out.

Kaz approaches the railing and takes a closer look at the girl, she stands in her black high heel sneakers, she wears a black leather jacket with the sleeve on her right arm rolled up to the elbow, underneath the jacket, a black crop top that leaves a sash of her waist visible, with a utility belt, where you can see that she carries a gun and a Neural Scrambler.

It is possible to see that she wears the Elite Force mission suit but the the shiny blue of the suit was no longer so shiny, and many types of pockets were added to the suit.

"Harper!?" Kaz says, she runs her hand through her hair, now shorter and winks at him, Kaz smiles "Look!" Oliver points to four police officers entering the hallway.

"Attention all units we are...." One of the police officers speaks on the radio but is interrupted when Harper uses energy manipulation to blow up his radio, she closes the gate to the wing they are in to prevent more police from entering.

"Stop there!" One of them says, Harper is in front of a dark door "we don't want to cause trouble" Harper says, the police officers are startled to see behind her a tall hooded figure with glowing red eyes approaches "but we will!" Harper smirk and she geo-leap from the front of the figure that uses heat vision to destroy the police officer's gun in front.

The figure approaches and throws the police officer against the wall, while Harper fights with the other two, the hooded guy go help her, he removes his hood revealing himself to be Adam.

"Yeees!!" Bree says excitedly, Adam wears a gray cap and a baggy black jacket over his mission suit, Adam now has a full beard on his face, what makes him look older.

Harper uses electrokinesis to make the other two officers pass out, and Adam holds the third remaining officer's neck.

"where is the control center?" Adam says, the police officer is scared and almost out of breath, he points the direction "thanks sir!" Adam smiles and hangs the officer on a nearby hooby the hood of his jacket, without him touching the ground "Hey, don't leave me here!" The cop says.

Harper goes up to Adam, and the two do a high five, meanwhile, the first officer that Adam threw against the wall gets up and takes a pipe that was there for repairs, the pipe is big and sharp like a spear, he gets up,and throws it towards Harper while she is distracted.

"Harper watch out!!" Bree screams in desperation, seeing the pipe heading towards Harper, but suddenly the pipe stops inches close to Harper's face, that even without seeing the pipe coming towards her she doesn't even move.

The police officer is confused seeing the pipe stopped in the air, and when Chase is revealed holding the pipe as he deactivates the invisibility app, Harper looks at him with a smirk as he looks at the police officer with anger in his eyes.

"Woah now I've seen everything!" Kaz laughs at the sight of Chase, as he spins the pipe like it's a laser bo, heading towards the police officer.

Chase now has his hair a little longer, which falls over his forehead, and light facial hair on his face, Chase wears his mission suit now with his suit jacket open, as the zipper is broken, showing that he wears a black t-shirt underneath his jacket.

He has a tear in the knee of his pants along with other small tears in his mission suit, a utility belt with several pockets, on his thigh he carries a gun, he wears rolled-up sleeves and black fingerless gloves.

The officer takes another pipe and goes towards Chase and tries to hit him, meanwhile Harper uses energy manipulation to open the saddle locks.

Chase defends himself with the pipe, He finds a way to throw the officer's pipe away, the police officer tries to grab the pipe from Chase, but Chase Super Speeds around the police officer making him dizzy and pushing him to the ground.

"Four men down" Adam says "all without a scratch" Harper says "Great!" Chase says, Harper opens Bree's saddle.

"Oh my God!!" Bree runs to Chase and Adam and they hug her tightly, Harper opens Kaz and Oliver's saddles and they hug her "I missed you guys so much" Bree says "We did too" Adam says, they let go of the hug and Chase and Adam greet Kaz and Oliver.

"Bree!" Harper smiles, Bree hugs Harper "sis" Bree says calmly, Harper smiles "Where's Skylar?" Harper asks "in the maximum security wing in one of the armored glass domes" Oliver says.

"Okay, you guys go with Adam to the prison entrance, make sure you cover all traces!"Chase tells Adam "Got it" Adam says "Harper you know what to do" Chase says "oh yes!" Harper says leaving.

"and I'm going to get Skylar" Chase says "No, I'm not the one who's going to do that!" Oliver says, Chase smirk.

"Of course, if you can get there first" Chase says "oh I..." Oliver is interrupted by Chase who runs away at super speed.

At the control center, a security guard watches the cameras and sees Chase going to the maximum security wing, he activates the wing's alarm.

When suddenly he hears someone closing the room door behind him, and he sees Harper leaning against the door "Well, I guess it's just you and me huh" Harper says softly.

"I know who you are!" The security guard says taking a gun from under the table "so you must know that I'm not afraid of you..." Harper says.

He shoots and Harper holds the shot holding the muzzle of the gun,with her right arm using her super powers, she holds the gun and starts to bend his arm while he looks at her scared and she uses her foot to keep him in the chair.

"And you should also know that I'm pretty crazy" Harper smirks and the security guard looks at his arm that she is bending, he doesn't fail to notice that on her arm that has the sleeve rolled up, she has a letter C tattooed.

Harper takes out the Neural Scrambler and points at him "now, smile for the picture!" Harper says gently and activates the device.

Meanwhile, Chase sees the maximum security wing's alarm go off, one of the security guards begins to close the wing's gate in desperation, Chase shakes his head mockingly looking at the security guard.

The gate closes but the security guard feels a strange wind seconds before the gate closes, he sighs in relief "this will hold him!" Chase says sarcastically, quietly leaning against the wall behind the security guard, who takes out a gun.

Chase super speed throwing the gun away and holding the security guard against a wall with a retinal scanner that opens the door to the room where Skylar is.

Two other police officers wait for him inside the room, Chase rolls his eyes and Super Speed goes inside, lifting one of the police officers with him, the police officer tries to fight back but Chase holds his arm and kicks him.

Skylar is in the glass dome in the center of the room, she was sleeping but the commotion makes her wake up confused.

The other officer tries to activate a button to put the room in lockdown, Chase sees him approaching the button from the corner of his eye while another officer comes towards.

Chase, kicks the officer and super quickly he grabs the gun from his thigh and shoots the button seconds before the police officer gets there, he takes a step back when he is startled by the shot.

Chase super speeds until he has no time to react when Chase strike him making him fall to the ground violently "You didn't see me coming huh" Chase smirk.

"you're screwed kid!" The officer says on the ground trying to compose himself "tell me something I don't know" Chase says, he blows his hair that was falling into his eyes.

"Chase?" Skylar says standing up "It's a pleasure to see you again, Skylar!" Chase smiles gently and calmly, changing the weapon's ammunition to a special and very specific ammunition.

"regular armored glass? How cute they think it still works" Chase chuckles, Skylar looks at Chase confused, trying to somehow recognize him.

"uh..Chase!" Skylar sees more police approaching, Chase calmly points the gun at the glass of the dome "get down!" Chase says firmly, Skylar bends down.

Chase shoots the glass twice, he tilts his head and fires the third shot that shatters the glass of the dome, Skylar looks at the square glass surprised to be free.

Meanwhile Harper hacks the control center's security cameras, the security guard who was there is unconscious in the corner of the room because of the Neural Scrambler that Harper used.

"Let's go" Harper deletes the footage of the last moments, she sees Chase freeing Skylar on camera "Oh that's my boyfriend" Harper says proudly before deleting that footage too.

So as not to see a gap in the filming, Harper replaces the filming from the last hour with filming from the same time as the previous day, manipulating the filming time and taking care not to have anyone in any frame.

"okay, they will question the lack of prisoners... but as far as they will know, Bree, Kaz, Oliver and Skylar were never prisoners in this prison!" Harper says by deleting their files.

She transfers new prisoners to their saddles so there is no shortage of prisoners in the saddles "That's it...nothing happened" Harper smiles.

Adam then brings three guys and puts them on Bree, Kaz and Oliver's saddles "Adam what is this? Who are these guys?" Bree says "the guys who have always been the prisoners of these saddles" Adam blinks closing the saddles.

"wait what?" Kaz says "Well...Harper is going to delete your files, and the recordings, these police officers and the prisoners don't remember anything, all they will have are the files on these super villains that we captured, but they will think they were here the whole time...in short, it will be like you were never even here!" Adam says.

"I'm sure this wasn't your plan" Kaz says "Actually the part of replacing you with super villains was mine so take it!" Adam brags.

"But what about the rest of the troops who aren't here and the rest of the prisoners they will remember us! The government knows we were arrested" Oliver says "Until they notice, you'll be very far from here... and without leaving any trace!" Adam smirk putting on his hood.

Chase replaces Skylar with a super villain with the same power level as her, or at least that's what his file would say and leaves him in the dome room making it look like he destroyed the glass.

Chase and Skylar super speed back to the rest of the team "Skylar!" Oliver goes to her and hugs her "I missed you so much" Skylar says she lets go of him as Harper approaches.

"Did you get it?" Chase ask "yes, no trace...all they have are...incompetent police officers" Harper says, pointing at the police officers that Adam has sitting at a table as if they were sleeping.

"Very good! We better get out of here before more cops show up" Chase says leaving he takes a pair of sunglasses and puts them on.

"Where are we going?" Bree asks, Chase continues leaving without looking back "Home" Chase says, Harper and Adam look at them and they smile and look at each other excitedly.

Harper lightly punches Adam in the arm and they leave, while the rest of the team looks at each other confused and follows them.

They run to a small jet that was sitting on the roof of the huge prison, Adam enters the jet first and sits in the pilot's seat.

"Get comfortable!" Adam says "wait are you...are you going to fly this thing?" Skylar ask.

Newton was lying in a compartment on the roof of the jet, as soon as Chase enters the jet the cat jumps on his shoulder.

"Believe me Adam is our best pilot" Chase says while he holds the cat on his shoulder and Newton purrs, running its face through Chase's hair.

"Calm down, it's a lot of information in a very short time" Oliver sits down "you haven't even seen half of it" Harper sits in the copilot's seat.

"So you guys have a jet now....and the most impressive Adam knows how to fly a jet..." Oliver says "You guys can stop being so impressed by this as if it were impossible" Adam says "that's because it is!" Bree says.

"well...a lot has changed" Harper says "Of course, Chase has a beard now!" Kaz says, Chase glares at him "You know that just as easily as I got you out of prison, I can send you back there, right?" Chase says "Which by the way looks really good on you" Kaz smiles, Chase rolls his eyes.

"by the way...super speed huh?" Bree says "Uh...Harper?" Chase says, Harper glares at him "when I stole the chips I lost his chip..." Harper says "and he's been insufferable ever since" Adam says.

"I'm not insufferable!" Chase it says "Tell that to the ten pens you broke while trying to solve a equation" Adam says "I didn't break them I just... bit them... really hard" Chase says.

"Yes, you must have drunk a cup's worth of pen ink" Harper says "that equation was simple even without my chip I should have been able to solve it" Chase says.

"Baby, it wasn't simple, and even without the chip you have a higher IQ than most people, I know I studied your chip it's just an extension of your intelligence" Harper says, Chase sighs "I know, that was an adjustment period..." Chase says, Harper and Adam look at each other in doubt.

"...anyway, I'm not the smartest in the world anymore...but we still had your chip, and since you have super powers, I thought you wouldn't mind if I used it" Chase says "Of course, I'm happy that you were able to recover the bionics after everything that happened" Bree says.

"it took some time but we managed to stop our chips from being tracked in any way" Harper says "why did you guys just come get us now?" Kaz ask.

"we only wanted to get you out of there when we were able to get you to a safe place, when we had a plan and structure for it" Chase says "And do you have a place?" Skylar says "oh yes we do!" Harper says.

"what? Did you guys find someone's basement for us to hide in?" Bree chuckles "Would we be on a jet if we were going to a basement?" Adam says "seriously, when did he get smarter?" Bree says.

"you know, actually, A basement is very obvious, but the authorities are so busy with their problems on the ground, that they'll never look up" Chase says, everyone frowns.

"we're close!" Adam says "what do you mean look up?" Skylar asks "Attention, Douglas..." Adam says on the radio "Douglas!?" Bree smiles.

"I think you guys want to see this," Chase says as Newton drops from his shoulder onto Harper's lap, and he presses a button to open the jet's windows.

Bree, Kaz, Oliver and Skylar look out the window, suddenly the jet passes through an invisible barrier in the middle of the sky.

Revealing a type of flying aircraft carrier, a kind of Helicarrier, a futuristic and giant means of transport.

"Woah, what is this thing!?" Kaz says impressed, observing the landing strips where it was possible to see other jets landing, and superheroes walking along the landing strips.

"that's a flying plane carrier, but we don't use it for that" Harper smiles and gets up going to Chase she brushes the hair off his forehead, and he sighs when he sees the jet landing.

"Wait, is that...?" Skylar points to the symbol on the right of one of the landing strips, she recognizes that symbol.

It's the Mighty Med symbol, she looks at Kaz and Oliver in surprise and they too.

At the end of the plane carrier, there is a building, from where Douglas and Melody come out.

Douglas walks away in a hurry looking at their jet approaching "they did it!" Douglas says proudly, Melody comes behind him holding a tablet in her hand.

She smiles and puts her hand on his shoulder, Douglas looks at her, putting his arm around her and pulling her closer, placing a delicate kiss on her face.

"I think this means things will be calmer from now on" Melody says looking at the jet, and fiddling with Douglas' necklaces "Maybe...At least now we know that all of them are safe" Douglas says,when the jet door opens Newton runs out, Chase and Harper are the first to leave.

"Congratulations on the mission" Melody says "thanks mom" Harper smiles.

"Douglas!!" Bree runs out and hugs him, Kaz, Skylar and Oliver leave soon after and greet Douglas and Melody, Adam comes out and passes his hand over the jet "good job again buddy!" Adam tells the jet.

"Wow you guys look terrible" Douglas says "good to see you too Douglas!" Oliver says sarcastically "calm down, you guys are home now" Melody says.

"if you don't mind, what place is this?" Skylar ask, Melody and Douglas they look at Chase and Harper "come with us" Chase says.

They enter the building at the end of the plane carrier, they enter and see a kind of command center, everyone looks around in awe, superheroes walking everywhere, others training, others monitoring something on computers, others just resting on chairs and tables in a type of cafeteria.

"This is amazing!" Bree says "guys, welcome to Mighty Force Headquarters" Harper says proudly.

"Mighty Force?" Kaz says "that means..." "that Mighty Med lives!" Horace approaches, interrupting Oliver.

"Horace!" Skylar runs to him and hugs him along with Kaz and Oliver "Dude, you're alive!" Kaz says.

"how come you never looked for us?" Oliver asks "believe me, Orlando was always watching you" Melody says "What?" Skylar says.

"I survived the destruction of Mighty Med, after that we moved the hospital to this base on this aircraft carrier, which was already an old project that was never put into practice, but we also needed more than ever to protect the identities of superheroes and the location of the new hospital because of Rodissius and his evil plans....It was when I started working as a janitor at the university where Dr Stone worked, I was trying to put into practice a new secret identity in Cetiumm City so that I could take care of you from afar until you need my help or something but...But out of conscience, Dr Stone was none other than the mother of one of your teammates...She's been my informant on you since then" Horace explains.

"were you working with Melody this whole time?" Skylar says "Yes, believe me, all I wanted most was to meet you again, but as you are about to discover, keeping the secret about this place is something of extreme importance around here" Horace says.

"You said hospital, this place doesn't look like a hospital at all" Bree says "it was a hospital" Horace says.

"After the video about superheroes was released, Horace told me about this place, and that you would be safe here but it was too late" Melody says.

"After Harper stole the chips, she, Adam and I lived for months on the run without bionics just trying to get as far away from the city and the authorities as possible, until one day Douglas and Melody and the Mighty Med people found us" Chase says, taking everyone up to the central panels of headquarters.

"When we got here we found a way to make our chips untraceable, and we started to join together with the superheroes that were already here to protect and save other superheroes from the hands of the government...And little by little we formed what you see now, renaming this base Mighty Force" Harper says.

"Woah, and all we did in prison was mop the floors" Kaz says.

"Melody, set aside two rooms with two beds for them in the main quarters of the base" Chase says "Understood" Melody leaves.

"Oh and let me get this straight, Chase Davenport is the leader huh" Bree crosses her arms "Now, it's Captain Chase Davenport" Chase smirks.

"Deputy Captain, problem on one of the jets" a girl with a tablet approaches Adam "What's the jet?" Adam asks "jet 5307" the girl says.

"Oh it's the jet that has the problem in the thing that makes that thing turn, and fuels the engine thing that heats the thing up" Adam says, the girl frowns "Does that mean you know what to do sir?" She asks "totally, it's simple" Adam smiles, everyone frowns at him.

"yeah well, Adam is the vice captain" Chase says "I thought Harper would be the vice captain" Oliver says "Harper has another job" Chase says "which one?" Kaz asks "I'll show you" Harper says and takes them to another area of the building.

Chase walks around the base "Captain, three mission alerts went off just before you guys got back" a guy says handing a tablet to Chase "two yellow alerts and one orange" the guy says.

"inform the general and tell her to send two level 8 teams to the first location and two level 5 for these fields" Chase says "For now, captain" the guy leaves.

Chase continues walking he suddenly slips on a puddle, he holds on to a table to avoid falling "what the..." Chase says, he sees a guy trying to get out.

"Hey you Aquaman! Get back here" Chase says the guy approaches "it's Aquaboy sir" Aquaboy says "huh, and do you know the Mopboy, to clean up the mess?" Chase says.

"sorry Cap, I still don't control my powers" Aquaboy says "No reason to leave this mess, someone could get hurt, sort it out, and focus on your training" Chase says "okay" Aquaboy says.

"Horace, Give him a check-up to see if this out of control is normal" Chase says, Horace nods, Chase sighs, running a hand through his hair, thinking.

"Chase" Douglas is at the base's central computer "Yes" Chase says "Melody did a check on our supply of supplements, and I don't think you're going to like the numbers we have." Douglas shows the notes.

"We're out of supplements, we have food for less than two months..." Chase says thoughtfully "yes, and now we have four more mouths to feed and we don't even have money for a trip to the grocery store" Douglas says.

Harper takes Bree, Kaz, Skylar and Oliver to see the training area, where several superheroes are training.

"Wow, this is all so amazing!" Oliver says "I know" Harper approaches the superheroes.

"Attention soldiers!" Harpe says, everyone stops and salutes "At your orders General Davenport" one of the soldiers says.

"Welcome Bree, Kaz, Skylar and Oliver" Harper says, everyone welcomes "Woah!" Kaz says.

"this is where we train for missions, to be what I call ephemeral" Harper says "what?" Kaz ask "Something Transitory, temporary" Skylar says "Exactly" Harper says

"They destroyed the chips today because they think that they and the Elite Force are capable of taking care of everything alone, that they don't need superheroes or bionics, but that's a lie" Harper says "What do you mean?" Bree asks.

Bree, Kaz, Skylar and Oliver smile at each other in relief.

Harper is in the kitchen at night reading a book on the counter, Chase approaches, everything is dark only the lamp above the kitchen counter is on.

"Aren't you going to come sleep?" Chase asks "I'm sleepless" Harper says "Then it would be rude of me to leave you here alone" Chase says smoothing her hair and kissing her head.

Chase goes to the other side of the counter and leans on the table and sighs "I told you we were going to get them out" Harper says.

"I know...Having my sister and friends back takes a weight off my shoulders...But it's not over yet" Chase says "Well...this is our life, Captain" Harper smiles, Chase smirk.

"but what matters is that everyone is safe here, and we did that...we built a safe place for all of us...at least a place that we feel safe and we feel welcomed..." Harper says.

"Chase, In less than a year, we built all of this together...There's nothing we can't do together" Harper says, Chase smiles.

"except making money because we have nothing in that regard" Harper says frustrated "Uhg! That's a problem for next week" Chase says rolling his eyes, Harper agrees.

Harper leans on the table Chase leans on the other side facing her and lights the candle on the cupcake, Harper laughs "is that serious?" Harper says "sshh quiet!" Chase says blowing out the match she used to light the candle.

Harper rolls her eyes with a smile, they both look at the candle on the cupcake.

"wow, 4 years" Harper says "it doesn't look like it" Chase says "It's so little compared to everything we've been through" Harper says.

"I know...but this is just the beginning" Chase smiles at her "I can't wait for more" Harper says, they both blow out the candle at the same time, Harper sighs.

"And to think that when it all started I was just a nerdy kid who thought I'd never get a girlfriend" Chase smirk "And look at you now" Harper says taking two forks from a drawer and handing one to Chase.

"yeah...I've changed, well everything has changed" Chase says "The world forces us to change" Harper says "but I think I'm the one who changed the most" Chase says taking a piece of the cupcake.

"I don't think so, I think you've always been like this, you were just... afraid to admit it" Harper smiles delicately "I think you're right...you make me who I always wanted to be" Chase says "same" Harper takes a piece of cupcake.

"To this day I remember the day Adam came home talking about you, and how amazing you were" Chase chuckles "weird how life works" Harper says, Chase laughs.

"Yeah...We're not those kids anymore" Chase says "No...But I like what we've become" Harper says, Chase smiles.

"Yup...we made the most badass couple I've ever seen" Chase smirk, Harper blushes and laughs gently.

"Why did you blush huh!?" Chase says "I didn't" Harper says blushing more "yeees you did!" Chase leans further on the counter.

"I don't know, it was the way you said it" Harper says laughing nervously, Chase laughs.

He leans further on the counter and Harper does the same until their lips meet, in a warm and soft kiss.

Chase caresses her face in the middle of the kiss, while Harper pulls his collar tightly but gently, putting her tongue on his lips making the kiss softer, Chase opens his mouth slightly and fits his lips on hers more firmly.

Harper breaks the kiss and smiles at him, picking up the fork again to continue eating the cupcake.

Chase kisses her forehead calmly, he picks up his fork again and the two continue to share that cupcake and they talk all night, until five in the morning where it was already possible to see the sun rising.
