"What are you doing here?" Leo says "Uh when I heard the news, I needed to come check on you" Drew says "Aww how cute" Grace says "Sure but as you can see she's fine, bye bye" Leo says.

"Leo! Calm down Drew and I have been talking we're friends, right" Grace says "Yes!" Drew smiles "Okay" Leo makes a suspicious face.

"About superheroes and the bionic freaks..." Matt says "I thought you guys didn't talk about work at these dinners" Bree says "We don't, but it's impossible not to talk about them since they're the topic of the moment" Robin says.

"What do you mean?" Bree says "nothing is the same as before, we had no idea how important their presence in our lives was until they put an end to it" Robin says "especially in our industry" Matt says.

"yeah, they had abilities and are able to do what we can't do, and they decided to use that to protect us... yeah, some of them decided to be villains but there are humans out there doing much worse things so what's the difference?" Robin says, Bree makes a surprised face.

"They are literally superheroes, and the authorities label them a threat because they can't accept the fact that they don't have control over them, that there are beings out there who are more capable of making a difference than they are... it's a ridiculous contest for power of control" Matt says.

"if you guys don't agree, why are we doing all this?" Bree says "It's our job, if they themselves weren't able to take down Bram and the government authorities, what chance do we have?" Robin says.

"Do you think there are more people out there who think like this?" Bree says "Everyone wants their beloved superheroes back, we all feel the impact of the lack of heroes, but no one can do anything" Robin says, Harper, Chase and Kaz listen thoughtfully to the conversation.

"But there are these protest groups, we arrested a lot of protesters last year" Matt says "Protestants?" Bree says "Yeah, never heard of them?" Matt asks "Say yes" Chase says "Or yeah, sure, I got confused with other protesters" Bree says.

"No, I'm talking about groups protesting to abolish the bionic law and free superheroes" Matt says "Yes I know that" Bree says.

"Are there people protesting the government because of us?" Harper says "Did you guys know that?" Kaz asks "No" Chase says.

"If I wasn't afraid of losing my position in the police I would join these groups, Superhumans live like us, they have love, they have pain, they deserve to live freely" Robin says "Yes, I completely agree" Bree says.

"I find it difficult, Bram is in control of everything and clearly he has zero affection for super humans" Robin says "He wants the young Davenports' heads on a platter," Matt says, Bree stays silent.

"Yeah, if he catches them the three of them are doomed" Robin says "I hope it never happens" Bree says "No one can run away forever" Robin says, Chase approaches the monitor.

"But they'll never get control of the superhumans, and they won't even get them all behind bars" Matt says.

"Your tea is almost ready" Drew says from the kitchen as Leo comes down the stairs "Thank you" Grace smiles kindly, Leo goes to her.

"What is this freak still doing here?" Leo says "He's keeping me good company, you know the type who doesn't whine about breaking up four weeks ago" Grace says frustrated.

"I don't whine, I cherish the moments I spent with her through tears" Leo says "Sure" Grace says.

"Look Grace, I don't like this" Leo says "what do you see wrong with that?" Grace says "the guy is clearly still into you, and he's doing all this to get you back" Leo says.

"well, that's not going to happen" Grace says "I know, but every second you let him do these things you give him false hope" Leo says.

"so our whole family history is a lie" Drew says "Did you think that money, our entire fortune, fell from the sky? no no no no" Dominic laughs.

"Blood was shed so that I could fulfill all the promises I made to your mother... to make her a queen, with an empire of stores and fame that she always dreamed of, so that her children are born in a cradle of gold" Dominic says.

"Is all our money illegal?" Drew says "Luxury requires sacrifice my son" Dominic says "No, that's all a lie... it can't be" Drew says.

"at first I wanted to keep you away from this darkness but look at me, it's all their fault" Dominic says "Elite Force?" Drew says "They, superheroes, everyone...they are afraid of my power, but not every King is loved" Dominic says, Drew looks at him scared.

"But my days of reign are over, and the world thinks it has got rid of its king, but little do they know there is a successor" Dominic laughs "What?" Drew says, Dominic approaches the railing with his eyes wide and red.

"I want you my eldest son...to continue my legacy and be the next Shadow King, my son" Dominic lets out a psychedelic laugh, Drew takes a step back in fright.

"Dad, you've been there for a long time..." "I'm not crazy!" Dominic interrupts.

"You will have all the power you want, son, I see within you the thirst for justice, justice with you" Dominic says, Drew frowns.

"You have a lot of anger bottled up in your heart, you want the life that was taken from you back, the love of your life back but you can't have it" Dominic says.

"I'm going to win her back" Drew says "Sure but there will always be obstacles in your way...can you imagine what your life could be like if you were in charge of everything" Dominic says.

"If no one had the courage to oppose you?" Dominic says "that's not possible" Drew says "yes it is possible... whit the power of the Shadow sword" Dominic says.

"What sword?" Drew says "The sword that has been passed down through generations in our family, this sword is capable of giving you the strength and power to make the world kneel at your feet" Dominic says.

"Where is it?" Drew asks "I hid the sword in the secret basement of our house...take the sword and she will know that you are the chosen one" Dominic smiles "why?" Drew says.

"because you are my blood, we are destined for greatness and not the Elite Force and no one in the world is capable of stopping you, you are the chosen one you will be our king, you will have an empire, the world will be your empire!" Dominic says, the officers get into the saddle.

"time is up" the police officer says "Be our King son!" Dominic says "boy, it's time" the officer says taking Drew out of there.

"THE WORLD KNEELS BEFORE THE KING BE THE KING!!" Dominic laughs, Drew gets out of the room looking at him scared.

"I'm sorry you saw your father like that" the officer says, Drew looks at him thoughtfully "the guy is crazy, he went crazy in his own fairy tales" the officer says.

"I'm sorry" he says "it's okay" Drew says thoughtfully.

Later, Kaz looks for Bree in the aircraft carrier and finds her in the meeting room alone.

"Where were you, I looked everywhere for you" Kaz says "If it wasn't clear after I hung up the communicator on you, I want to be alone" Bree says.

"Why did you turn off the communicator?" Kaz ask "Because you gave me a ridiculous freak out in my ear, I couldn't take it anymore!" Bree says.

"I was just trying to warn you that giving him a ride isn't a good idea!" Kaz says "I was just being polite" Bree says "what you see as politeness he might see as something else" Kaz says.

"Ugh! This again Kaz? Damn! I already said that there's nothing between me and Matt" Bree says "But you wish there was!?" Kaz says "And? What do you Have to do whit that?" Bree says irritated, Kaz takes a step back upset.

"is this serious?" Kaz says "Yeah Kaz, it's my mission, and my life as far as I remember we're just... anyway, you don't have the right to give me an opinion and give me a speech about it" Bree says.

"So you don't care how you and your mission make me feel?" Kaz says irritated "That's not what I mean, I'm just saying that you don't have to worry about me, I know what I'm doing... we have an agreement Kaz, and as far as I remember the agreement makes it clear that we have nothing serious" Bree says, Kaz stays silent.

"You're not my boyfriend, you don't have to worry about that" Bree says, Kaz takes a deep breath.

"Do you like him?" Kaz asks "I don't know, but you have nothing to do with it" Bree says irritated, Kaz thinks for a while.

"Kaz, when we decided to go through with this we made it clear that we weren't going to complicate things....if you can't do this we better stop before we lose each other" Bree says, Kaz sighs.

"No, I... I'm sorry, you're right" Kaz says "Are you sure?" Bree says "Yeah, I just...care about you, it's not jealousy I swear...it's just that I need to remind you that you have a cover to keep" Kaz clears his throat

"I know that, I have everything under control" Bree crosses her arms "Okay" Kaz says softly.

"Are you sure you're not upset about this?" Bree says "My intention was never to lecrure you, Bree" Kaz says
"I know, you're just worried about me, I understand" Bree approaches him.

Kaz is thoughtful, he has a lot more to say but wants to avoid fighting with Bree, or worse.

"do you want to do something later?" Bree ask "No, I'm a little tired I think I'll go to bed" Kaz says seriously.

"Well, then I'll go to bed with you" Bree smirk putting her hand on his chest "No, seriously Bree, I'm tired" Kaz says pushing her hand away.

"Maybe another time" Kaz says pulling away "okay" Bree says upset seeing Kaz leave.

He goes to the door of his room, he leans against the door and puts his hands on his face, sighing.

Kaz is upset and distressed by the situation, he preferred not to say anything to avoid a fight with Bree than to tell the truth and risk losing her.

Now he struggles with the doubt of whether he is doing the right thing.

Harper walks in and sees Kaz with his hands over his face, she stops in front of him, and he looks at her with an upset look.

Harper smiles lightly and opens her arms, Kaz sighs and goes to her, hugging her tightly, Harper puts her hand on his back to comfort him.

"everything is going to be okay" Harper says, Kaz smiles when he sees her effort in comforting him and sighs thoughtfully.

In the command center.

Chase is staring off into space in a chair while playing with his dating ring on his finger in thought.

And Bree is next to him with her feet up on the console, upset and irritated by her fight with Kaz, but at the same time not wanting to make a big deal out of it, tired of the silence Bree looks at Chase and sighs.

"so now we know there are three sides to this story, us, the government and the civilians" Bree says, Chase doesn't say anything he just shakes his head.

"That's good, isn't it, the civilians, the majority of the people are on our side" Bree says "Yeah, we're stronger than the government, that's the problem" Chase says.

"That makes us even more of a threat" Bree says "exactly, The people being on our side only makes things worse, they believe that if we want we can take them down with the snap of a finger...that one breath from us will cause a war and they can't do anything, they can't do anything peacefully because the people are on our side and they need to prove who's boss" Chase says.

"You say them, but you know it's Bram who turns the government against us" Bree says "I know, but I don't know how much they buy into his conversation, the guy is very influential in his field...I mean, the president has confidence in him" Chase thinks.

"Okay, but that's it, we've tried more than once to prove that we and superhumans are not a threat, and it always ends in the same shit!" Bree says, taking her feet off the console.

"Skylar was right when she said the world will never be ready for us," Bree says "Maybe because we don't have our place in the world...yet" Chase says, Bree looks at him confused.

Chase just stares at the floor thoughtfully, Bree sighs and lies down on the chair seeing that he's just thinking out loud.

Drew returns to his mansion.

He sits on the couch in front of the fireplace, staring and thinking about what his father said.

He sighs and goes to the fireplace looking for some kind of button on the fireplace until he comes across a candle strategically placed above it.

He pulls the candle and at the same moment he hears gear noises, and the fireplace opens revealing a dark stone staircase.

Drew takes a deep breath and begins to go down the stairs, the stairs take him to a room, a round room, where antique pictures of Knights in black armor, and old, dusty books.

"Oh my God" Drew says in disbelief, in the middle of the room there's a table and on the table a wine red box.

Drew approaches the box and feels a cold breeze, as if the wind was telling him to move away.

He starts to tremble slightly, afraid to open the box but he does, when he opens the lid of the box, he sees that inside it is a shiny black sword.

The sword was polished without a single scratch, Drew's eyes light up when he sees the sword's beauty, "wow" Drew says.

Suddenly he hears a whisper in the middle of the wind, even though that room has no windows.

"Drew...Drew...Drew" he hears the whisper, he soon realizes that these sounds come from the sword somehow, as if calling him.

"The power is yours" the whisper says "Mine?" Drew says as the voice says "you're the King" the whisper says.

Drew starts to reach for the sword but is interrupted when he hears a notification on his cell phone.

He blinks twice as if coming out of hypnosis and rubs his eyes,

Drew takes out his cell phone and sees a message from Grace, saying that she needs the ride he offered.

Drew smiles at his cell phone, he looks at the box again thoughtfully.

After feeling a shiver from the wind again, he closes the box in fear, and leaves the room, locking it.
