....At Davenport Tower, Leo is in the bathroom washing his face in the morning.

He looks in the mirror and sighs, he leaves the bathroom and Janelle enters the room.

"Morning, sweetheart" Janelle says, Leo smiles "Hi, my beauty" Leo says going to her.

"how are you? You look overwhelmed" Janelle caresses his face "It's the weight of leadership" Leo says, Janelle tilts her head "You have done a great job, my hero" Janelle says.

She sees a pendant on Leo's necklace "what is that? It's beautiful" Janelle threatens to take the pendant Leo holds her hand, Janelle frowns

Leo looks out the window looking upset.

"I know they're fine, wherever they are" Janelle says "I know, it's them after all" Leo smiles, Janelle hugs him.

"I can make us pancakes for breakfast" Janelle smiles "that would be cool" Leo smiles "Okay!" Janelle says, Leo starts to leave.

"Leo" Janelle says, Leo to "I love you" Janelle says, Leo comes back and kisses Janelle gently smiling in the middle of the kiss "I love you too" Leo says, he leaves.

Leo goes to the hallway, he leans against the wall and looks at the pendant, he opens the pendant and looks at the chip that he has kept there since the day of the robbery.

He kept the chip in the pendant as a secret, no one knew, only then would he guarantee that the chip would stay safe and always close to him.

On the wall next to him is a photo of him, Adam, Bree, Chase and Harper from the last Christmas they spent together in Mission Creek with Mr Davenport, Douglas and Tasha.

Leo closes the pendant, closes his eyes and he leans his head against the wall when a mission alert rings on his cell phone.

He puts the pendant inside his shirt and leaves.

At Mission Command.

Grace is training with two laser guns and moving targets, she shoots at us targets without missing a single one and with a lot of effort.

Grace has been training twice as long in the last year, she quit her job at Drew's mother's store after they broke up, which made her divide her time between college and training, which she did perfectly.

A target appears behind her and she kicks the target with everything breaking it in half another appears in front of her, and she shoots four times twice with each weapon shattering the target.

A light flashes that the simulation has ended, Grace pantingly lowers her head and drops the weapons on the cyber desk.

Grace goes to her bag and drinks some water then she sees the bruises on her hand caused by training.

She starts to wrap a gauze around her hand when she receives a message from Drew, she looks at her phone quickly and sees the message "Hey, how are you? Wanna talk?" Grace looks at that message and shakes her head.

She puts her cell phone aside and finds inside her bag photos of her and Adam that they took in a photo booth when they spent the day together at the beach.

She smiles looking at the photo when the mission alert goes on, Finn and Daniel walk in in their mission suits.

"Man, I get a lot of messages from girls asking me out just because I'm in Elite Force, and it's not even because I'm bionic but because I'm a hero! Do you have an idea how awsome this is!?" Daniel says.

"I know, I also get these messages but I usually ignore it" Finn says "why!?" Daniel says "Because....I don't feel like dating anyone right now" Finn scratches the back of his head, Daniel nods.

Marcus with Leo who has headphones on "is everything ok?" Marcus asks Grace "Yup, why?" Grace ask "I'm detecting through your physical state and your facial expression that you are upset and anxious, it can also be described by... longing" Marcus says, Grace smiles slightly.

"Marcus, what have we talked about?" Grace stands up "to stop diagnosing people, sorry, but I just want to help" Marcus says "and how can you help me?" Grace asks.

"according to my sources in your case a shoulder to lean on and friendly displays of affection like hugs, alleviate the lack of something or someone you feel" Marcus opens his arms, Grace smiles.

"I'm the one who calls the shots around here!" Leo says "What's the mission?" Daniel asks "Theft of explosives, a trucks and a car apparently armed without super powers, the car containing hostages..." AJ says "simple mission guys" Leo says.

"Yeah we got this!" Daniel says excitedly leaving "to the other side the airhead!" Finn says "every side looks the same in this place" Daniel changes direction.

Everyone goes to the garage where each team member has a high tech motorcycle, AJ stays at Mission Command.

"Well guys, see you there!" Finn says, taking the lead, activating his high-tech skates, the same ones that Harper used to use before she became bionic.

When Finn volunteered to help Mr Davenport rebuilding team, Mr Davenport gave him Harper's skates and her boomerangs too, and Finn quickly managed to master both

"He's such a Showman, right!" Daniel says, Leo laughs and gets on the bike, he, Grace, Daniel and Marcus go out on the latest bikes designed by Mr Davenport at high speed behind the truck.

"Finn stay close to the team!" AJ says "relax I know what I'm doing!" Finn says "No, you don't know" Aj says.

"look at the guy, he left his diaper on yesterday, and he thinks he can teach me how to do my job" Finn says "guys, this isn't the time" Grace says.

"I need you to follow the plan" Leo says "What's the plan?" Marcus says "Finn reach the car and save the hostages, Marcus, Daniel intercept the truck and get the explosives, Grace and I take care of the driver" Leo says.

"Gotcha!" Finn says approaching the car, He's not fast enough so he grabs onto a truck about to turn to gain momentum.

"for your information Finn, my age doesn't matter when it comes to knowing how to carry out a mission!" AJ says "Uhg here it comes" Finn rolls his eyes as he is pushed close to the car.

The driver sees it in the rear view mirror but he ducks "Or even to be a leader" AJ says "Seriously AJ, you should be grateful to be part of the team" Leo says.

"Chase was my age when he declared himself mission leader" AJ says "Yeah, but Chase... it's Chase" Leo sigh slightly upset.

Finn appears in the window opposite to the driver's "Hey man! Give me a ride!?" Finn says using his boomerang to break the car window.

The driver tries to shoot Finn but he opens the door of the moving car and dodges the shot and gains momentum into the car, when he gets in he closes the door and the hostages scream as the driver loses control of the car.

Finn grabs the arm of the guy holding the gun and kicks him, he drops the gun and Finn slams the guy's head against the steering wheel, and finally a strong elbow in the guy's face making him faint.

Before the car leaves the track Finn takes the wheel, the hostages try to calm down.

Meanwhile, Daniel and Marcus approach the truck with the explosives, Daniel provides cover while Marcus uses heat vision to open the back of the truck.

Marcus approaches with the motorcycle, and stands on the motorcycle to jump into the truck to get the explosives, the driver sees him and starts to stop the truck.

"Uh...AJ, there's no explosives here" Marcus says "what?" AJ checks the cyber desk.

Finn continues driving the car, he switched places with the unconscious driver, and the hostages are calmer but Finn needs to avoid the cars.

The unconscious driver falls into his lap "Woah!! What's that man? Don't even take me to dinner first!" Finn says pushing the passed out guy off his lap and putting him back in the passenger seat

"AJ, where are the explosives!?" Daniel asks "Uuhh... in the other...truck" AJ says hesitantly "Is there another truck!!?" Leo asks indignantly.

"Yup....I kind of may have let It slip off the radar...Oops!" AJ says "Again who invited the baby boss to the party!?" Finn says "Hey take it easy I'm just a kid!" AJ says, Finn rolls his eyes.

"You see? Chase would never let that happen!" Leo says "uh...Are you sure? Cuz he already...""Grace!" Leo interrupts her "alrighty then" Grace says.

"I'll take the truck!" Leo says "he's on the next street turning left" AJ says "I saw him!" Leo says.

"I've got your back, Marcus" Daniel approaches the truck that Marcus is in, Marcus is still in the truck that stops and the criminal who was driving gets out irritated.

Daniel arrives and gets off the bike,the guy takes a knife out of his pocket "A knife? Really?" Daniel says the guy tries to hit him.

Daniel dodges and kicks the guy in the arm, the guy tries to hit him again and Daniel dodges ,holding the knife hand and kicking the guy in the stomach.

Leo and Grace approach the other truck "Finn the truck is following you, if I were you I would lose him as soon as possible" AJ says, Finn looks in the car's rear view mirror "oh shit" Finn says avoiding cars and pedestrians.

"Grace give me a hand!" Leo says, starting to get up on the bike, Grace shoots the lock on the back of the truck to open the doors, Leo gets ready to jump but doesn't find the right moment "It's too fast!" Grace says.

"We have to brake the truck!" AJ says "Leave it to me!" Finn says, he turns back to the hostages "are you wearing your seatbelts, Ladies!?" Finn ask, they nod yes.

"Great because from now on we're going to experience slight turbulence" Finn says he waits for a moment when the street is empty he sees a pole approaching.

Finn turns the car around and starts driving in reverse, the hostages hold on to the car in fear, Finn opens the car door and waits for the door to be ripped off by the pole, which throws the door towards the truck that was coming behind him.

When the door hits the truck and it passes over it, the driver brakes lightly and that's when Leo manages to throw himself into the truck "I'm in!" Leo says "Woah!" Finn celebrates by turning the car in the right direction again.

"And to think that this is my first time driving a car!" Finn says "What!?" One of the hostages says "Oh be honest it doesn't really matter right now!" Finn says.

"Leo, are there explosives in the truck?" AJ ask "I found it!" Leo approaches the package of explosives "Okay, the authorities are approaching" AJ says.

"we got one guy" Daniel says as Marcus neutralizes the guy he was fighting "two!" Finn says looking at the unconscious guy in the passenger seat.

Leo takes the explosives and Grace points the gun at the driver "Pull the truck over!" Grace says, the driver mocks her "I won't say it again!" Grace says firmly.

The driver don't stop and Grace shoots him at the steering wheel but in a way that doesn't hit his hands, the driver brakes in fright, Grace puts the gun away and gets off the bike.

"what's the matter with you girl!?" The driver says "you're under arrest" Grace says "what are you a police officer?" The driver laughs "I'm a little more than that I would say" Grace smirk.

"How cute" the driver says, Grace makes an angry face, the guy tries to approach her violently, Grace kicks him in the face and pushes him.

When he loses his balance she punches the rest of him and grabs his arm she bends his arm behind his back and puts him against the truck "Do you think I'm cute now?" Grace says irritated.

Leo gets out of the truck with the explosives.

Finn parks the car "five stars, ladies!?" Finn ask with a smile the frightened hostages wave no.

"Are the hostages okay?" AJ asks "well yes but they're not satisfied with my services apparently" Finn says frustrated.

"Sorry guys, I almost ruined the whole mission" AJ says on the communicator "Yup" Finn says "Finn!" Grace says "Do you want me to lie?" Finn says.

"AJ it's ok, I understand I've I messed up on many missions, but that's part of it" Leo says.

"I'm already working on a more effective radar" AJ says "perfect, I'm glad you're learning from your mistakes, that's how you'll evolve from a mission specialist to a leader one day" Leo says.

"Really?" AJ says "yeah, it was like that with me, don't worry, in the end everything worked out because we're a team... and we've got your back, relax... you were a lot of help today, all of you were" Leo says "thank you" AJ says "Thanks" the rest of the team says.

Meanwhile, Secretary of State Bram was in a meeting with the President and Mr Davenpor.

"With all due respect, Mr President, but why did you call here?" Mr Davenport ask "Well, Mr Davenport, Secretary Bram has matters to discuss regarding the chips of your bionic soldiers, and I think it wouldn't be fair for you not to have a voice in the decision" the President says.

"although your voice is almost nil" Bram says, the President glares at him.

"for contractual reasons, the soldiers' chips belong mainly to the government but you also have a percentage in this, you need to be aware of what will be done with these chips" The President says "Of course" Mr Davenport says.

"Secretary Bram, tell us your proposal" President says "Davenport, Mr. President, it's been a year since the bionics law was approved and almost all registered superhumans have been arrested, if you follow the graph..." Bram shows a graph.

"the old story, that they fight the battles we can't...it's over, we win!" Bram says, Mr Davenport shakes his head "Mr President, Maybe it's time to make history, and end the bionic era forever" Bram says.

"wait, do you want to destroy the chips?" Mr Davenport says "Yes, only then can we show everyone that we are strong, that would put an end to people's fear, they would know that we are the ones in control" Bram says, the President thinks.

"Can I object?" Mr Davenport says "sure" president says.

"Mr President, if you destroy the chips, you will end the hopes of several bionic heroes who still believe they will be able to go into action again one day!" Mr Davenport says "Or they will finally come to their senses" Bram says, Mr Davenport looks at Bram indignantly.

"what about destroying one of the greatest achievements of science ever seen!" Mr Davenport "Of course just like atomic bombs" Bram smirk.

"I don't see the need to destroy the chips" Mr Davenport says firmly "In fact, destroying the chips would be a great milestone in the history of our country, but it would be a step back compared to everything my predecessor did in relation to bionic humans" the President says.

"But that was before they rebelled against us!" Bram says "they didn't rebelled against us!" Mr Davenport says "stealing, assaulting and threatening government officials isn't rebellion to you, Mr Davenport?" Bram says, Mr Davenport remains silent.

"I know they are your children but you have to accept that they are criminals and are highly dangerous, and they have the chips...See Mr. President, we have no guarantee that the rest won't follow in their footsteps.." Bram says.

"unless we destroy the chips" President says "We would give almost a 100% security guarantee, after that we would only need to worry about the four remaining chips, if they still exist" Bram says.

"Don't think it's too early to do this, it's only been a year" Mr Davenport says "and risk another type of bionics protest" Bram says, they both look at the President.

After the mission, the Elite Force returns to the penthouse, Mr Davenport waits for them in the living room.

"Big D, what are you doing here?" Leo says "Leo, Grace can I have a word with you at Mission Command?" Mr Davenport says going to Hyperlift, Grace and Leo look at each other.

"rest up guys, it was a great mission today, I'm proud" Leo says, the rest of the team goes up the stairs and he and Grace go to Mission Command.

"What's wrong Mr Davenport?" Grace asks "I just returned from a meeting with the President and Secretary Bram, and they have reached a definitive consensus regarding bionic humans" Mr Davenport says.

"Will our bionics return!?" Leo says "No... Actually they decided that they will destroy the bionic chips, forever, as a symbol of the end of the bionic era" Mr Davenport says upset.

"what?" Leo says "They can't do that!" Grace says "unfortunately this is a final decision, Chase, Harper and Adam's actions have shaken the government's trust in bionic humans, they are afraid that more bionics will follow in their footsteps," Mr Davenport says.

"We never had their full trust but that didn't matter, because we decided that we didn't need their approval to save the world, we never did" Leo says.

"I know Leo, but maybe it's a good thing, all these years of your contributions have contributed to making the world a safer place today that doesn't even need bionics or superheroes anymore" Mr Davenport says.

"Still, we have no guarantee that it will stay like that, there are millions of super villains in prison now but who guarantees that they will stay there forever...Harper was worried about that" Grace says.

Grace says, Mr Davenport think.

"Douglas didn't give up!" Leo says "how do you know? He's not even here, we don't even know where he is!" Mr Davenport says "Because with them he left everything to fight for something bigger, his family!" Leo says.

"why didn't you go with them?" Mr Davenport says "because I have my sister and my mother, and you, I stayed for you! And because I believe that together you and I could do something together about this, but I think I made a mistake!" Leo says firmly.

"Look Mr Davenport, I think the law and this Secretary Bram... will try to take us down more than once, and won't stop with the destruction of the chips, but we can't give up, I think you, more than anyone else, should fight for all of this" Grace says.

Mr Davenport sighs "You're right, we can't stop here" Mr Davenport says "so what are we going to do?" Leo says.

"Now you are my new Elite Force... and you are the leader, you are in charge, I trust you...Just give the orders and I will help" Mr Davenport says, Leo looks at Grace and then back at Mr Davenport.

"Well, bionic humans already have their names tarnished, we can't risk them losing trust in our team too, that's all we have left..." Leo says.

"If Chase, Harper and Adam are around and see this, I'm sure they won't stand by" Mr Davenport says "do you really think they are close?" Grace says, Mr Davenport puts his hand on her shoulder.

"I'm sure they haven't forgotten us" Mr Davenport says "I miss them" Grace lowers her head "We all miss them" Leo hugs her.

"what are we going to do?" Grace asks "Regarding the destruction of the chips, there's not much we can do at the moment, we need to prove to them that they have our support and trust, so that's what we're going to do" Leo says.

"so are we really going to let them do that?" Grace says "unfortunately yes, they're going to think it's over, but we still have four chips left, and we will find a way to recover the others...it definitely won't be the end of the bionic era!" Leo smiles confidently holding the pendant, Mr Davenport and Grace look at each other worried but confident.

The next day, Elite Force is invited to witness the destruction of the chips that was being broadcast live.

"Thank you for everyone's presence, today we celebrate an achievement" The President says, Leo, Grace, Daniel, Marcus and Finn are on stage next to Secretary Bram and the rest of the council.

"A year ago we approved the bionic law, and now the world has become a better place, crime has reduced reasonably, proving that we ordinary humans are more than capable of protecting our nation and the world!" The President says, the crowd celebrates.

"That's weird" Leo says "what?" Grace says "he says crime has gone down reasonably well, but our mission alerts say the opposite" Leo says.

"what do you mean?" Finn says "Do the math, Mr Davenport doesn't know but... alerts have increased since the bionic law, and we... can't handle them all" Leo says.

"you never told us that?" Daniel says "I know...I didn't want to worry you, after all, in the end the alerts always disappeared" Leo says "they disappeared like they were resolved?" Finn says thoughtfully.

"Yes, that's the weird part...someone always solved the mission" Leo says "Who?" Grace says, Leo doesn't respond as they are interrupted by applause.

"Here is the beginning of a new era!" The President says as everyone watches all the bionic chips being placed into a disintegration machine made by Davenport Industries.

"So Secretary Bram gave false information to the president" Marcus says "He fooled the president" Finn says "his lie cost us our chips" Daniel says.

They see the chips being destroyed, Leo shakes his head.

Grace receives a message from Drew, she looks at her cell phone and thinks about responding but when she starts typing Leo sees a cat.

A cat on a wall nearby watches them closely, Leo frowns but he recognizes that cat he pokes Grace with his elbow and points to the cat, she looks "Newton?" Grace says.

Finn frowns but soon he also sees the cat and smiles, the cat starts walking along the wall when Bram sees him.

"The cat!!" Bram says "what?" One of the security guards says "The cat! Follow that cat!" Bram says.

"Are you crazy man!?" The security guard says "useless!!" Bram says and starts running after the cat that comes down from the wall in an alley.

Bram follows the cat to the alley, but when he gets there there is no sign of the cat or anyone else,even though there was no place where the cat could have escaped.

Bram screams in frustration and kicks a trash can.

Leo looks at the rest of the team and smiles nodding his head "It's definitely not the end, guys" Leo says proudly.

Everyone on the team looks at each other and smiles.
