At Mighty Force headquarters, Harper and Chase walk through the halls.

"How are the bionic soldiers?" Chase asks, Harper scratches her nose "they're adapting really well, the chips are in perfect condition..." Harper says and she sneezes, Chase frowns.

"and I've already put together teams of bionics and superheroes to train together, I think this..." Harper says in a nasal voice "I think this will be advantageous on missions" Harper says, she sneezes.

"No, but don't be silly, everyone gets sick from time to time" Chase says "well I'm not everyone..." Harper says, one of the superheroes walks past them.

"whatever" Harper tries to keep walking, Chase grabs her waist "let's go to Horace so he can give you some cold medicine or something" Chase says "I'm busy, Chased" Harper says she sighs.

"I'll give you the day off" Chase says "I can't we have to..." "as your captain my word is order" Chase says "And as my boyfriend my word is order for you!" Harper points at him.

"As your boyfriend, your well-being is a priority, so let's go" Chase says "No" Harper insists, Chase tilts his head.

"Stop! mature people don't do that!" Harper says "I completely agree" Chase says taking her to the medical wing.

In the medical wing, Horace examines Harper, he listens to her heartbeat.

"Yeah General, apparently you've got a flu" Horace says "How?" Harper says "you're a genius, I think you know the answer" Horace says.

"You probably got too cold on night missions" Chase says "my immunity has always been high especially after the bionics" Harper says.

"Yes, but now you have super powers, contact with Arcturion's energy exposed your body to new types of microorganisms and your body has been affected to this since then, this is directly affecting your immune system but this is not a bad thing... on the contrary it means that your body is strengthening and adapting to the powers" Horace says.

"does that mean she might get even stronger after this?" Chase asks "yes, this could result in strengthening powers or even new powers depending on the reactions... it's hard to say" Horace says.

"Well...I said it was something simple, thank you Horace. Now if you don't mind I'll go..." Harper tries to get up but Chase holds her back "He hasn't given a diagnosis yet" Chase says, Harper scratches her nose.

"Well, General Davenport, I know you won't like to hear this but I recommend you take this medicine and rest for a day or two" Horace hands her a box of medicine, Harper glares at him.

Harper sighs and hugs Chase and he puts his hand on her forehead to see if she has a fever "Come on, let's go to the quarters" Chase puts his arm around her and leads her to the door.

"Thank you for everything Horace!" Harper says "You're welcome, take care lovebirds" Horace smiles.

Chase and Harper leave the office and find Leo in the hallway "Hey guys" Leo says "Hey Leo" Chase says.

"Hi..." Harper sneezes "Leo" Harper says, Leo looks at her with disgust "You could hide your disgust, Mr empathy!" Harper says irritated "I'm sorry, I've never seen you like that" Leo says "No one should" Harper scratches her nose laying her head on Chase's shoulder.

"I'm going to take her to the dorm" Chase says "wait Chase I came here because we have a situation" Leo says "I'm off now" Chase points to Harper "what situation?" Harper asks.

Chase shakes his head with a slight smile, he admires her strength and dedication to keep standing.

"The authorities took Marcus to a government facility" Leo says "What? Why!?" Chase ask.

"The day we got here, the FBI interrogated  Big D about Bree's disappearance and the rest of the soldiers, they wanted his technology to track the soldiers so much that That was the reason Bram found you guys..." Leo says.

"They discovered the Ledger's files I hacked from the prison's security systems...and Marcus took the blame saying he was the one who invaded the system" Leo says "Wow he really did that for you?" Harper says "he did it for all of us" Leo says.

Chase looks at Harper "We need to do something, we can't leave him there, and if Bram wants to use him to him to against us" Leo says "Leo's right, we need a rescue mission and soon" Harper says.

"No you're not going on a mission sick like that and I'm not leaving you here" Chase says, they look at Leo "none of us from Elite Force can break into a government facility right now, that's why I came here" Leo says, Harper sighs.

"team two is ready to field" Harper says, Chase thinks "are you sure this is a delicate mission" Chase says.

"Who is team two?" Leo ask "Bree, Kaz, Oliver and Skylar" Harper says "Great, they're perfect for the mission" Leo says "Okay, I'm going to ask Adam to start a rescue mission with team two" Chase says.

"Meanwhile I'm going to lead my team" Leo smiles and leaves.

"I'll give Adam directions and meet you in the quarters, okay Darling" Chase kisses her cheek "okay" Harper says, Chase leaves.

Later after receiving instructions from Chase, Adam gathers Bree, Kaz, Oliver and Skylar to begin the mission in the training area.

"Okay guys, Chase has the day off today, so I'm going to lead you today!" Adam says entering the room with a tablet.

"Wait, so Chase is having a day off and Adam is giving orders!? Woah! What's happening to the world!?" Kaz says "I blame Harper" Bree crosses her arms with a smile, Kaz agrees.

"Finally our first mission in a year, this is exciting" Oliver smiles "do you know what it means?" Kaz asks, Oliver greets Kaz "Superheroes...Again!!" Kaz and Oliver say together, Bree and Skylar smile at them.

"ok, I don't know if Harper told you but you are the Mighty Force Two" Adam says "Two?" Oliver says.

Bree starts to pack up the mission gear, Kaz approaches.

"Well, they know me, I don't need an evaluation from the Captain and the General because they should know by now that I'm capable... that we all are" Bree says, she turns around and puts things on the table.

Kaz approaches and puts his hands on her shoulder while her back is turned.

"No, I could see in Adam's eyes that he thinks he's more experienced than me, and that I'm just another one of his little soldiers" Bree says upset, Kaz sighs.

Meanwhile, Chase returns to the quarters and sees Harper sitting on the couch wrapped in a blanket.

"how was it with Adam?" Harper says "he'll monitor the mission, but don't worry about that right now...Is everything okay?" Chase asks from the kitchen and as he fills a glass of water.

"a little better" Harper says she sneezes, Chase goes to her and hands her the glass of water and a pill of medicine, she takes it, Chase bends down in front of her.

"I've been thinking since Horace said that this has to do with the Arcturion energy and my body's contact with new microorganisms...did I catch an alien flu!?" Harper says worried, Chase frowns "I don't think so" Chase says.

"How you can be sure we've been dealing with a lot of alien stuff since we met Skylar" Harper says, Chase thinks "Geez I hope not...but Just to be clear if an alien jumps out of your stomach, I'm out!" Chase says jokingly.

Harper laughs but she starts coughing "Oh why did that happen to me!?" Harper whimpers and lays her face on the couch, Chase tilts his head.

"And if I stay like this forever" Harper is dramatic "you won't stay like this forever" Chase says running his hand on her back.

"you don't know, Who knows how long alien flu stays?" Harper says "You don't have an alien flu!" Chase says "I feel terrible!" Harper says "that's a fact" Chase says, Harper lifts her head to look at him.

He puts his hand on her warm forehead checking if she stil has a fever, he looks at the clock to time the medicine take effect.

Meanwhile, Bree, Kaz, Oliver and Skylar go to the mission site, they observe the facility where Marcus is being held from outside.

They hide behind bushes and watch the movement while Kaz hums the Mission Impossible theme song the entire way.

"guys can you hear me?" Adam asks on the communicators "Yes captain" Oliver says.

"Marcus is in an underground area of the facility" Adam says sitting at the cyber desk with a sandwich in his hand.

"There are like 30 guys there" Adam bites into the sandwich "and do you have a plan?" Skylar says.

"If you infiltrate the base, through the underground, there's an access through the tunnels" Adam says.

"or when infiltrating the base we disguise, having free access right through the front door" Bree says "I think it's risky Bree" Adam says.

They infiltrate the base after knocking out four guys and stealing their overalls by pretending to be cleaning staff.

"Superhumans on the loose, arrest them!" One of the guys says, Adam receives an alert of an FBI helicopter approaching the scene, he shoves the entire sandwich in his mouth with a not-so-happy face.

"What the fuck Bree!" Adam grumbles leaving the command center.

Several security guards approach, surrounding Skylar and Oliver "they are a lot and have heavy weapons" Oliver says.

Skylar extends her hand to him "We will take them all down at once...together" Skylar says, Oliver takes his hand and they combine their powers into a single blast of energy combined with ice.

Bree breaks the glass of Marcus' capsule with a punch from her thermal hands making the emergency alarm go off.

"Bree" Kaz says shooting fire at a security guard who was going to shoot her "Kaz help me get him out of here" Bree says.

"You're stubborn as hell..." Kaz says helping Bree to release Marcus "It's worrying that I find this very attractive?" Kaz says, Bree smiles quickly.

The doors close "We're trapped!" Skylar says, Oliver runs up to them and uses super strength to catch Marcus throwing him over his shoulder, deactivated.

"How are we going to get out of here!?" Kaz says everyone get down when the security guards start shooting.

"Adam, what are we going to do? Adam? Adam!!" Skylar says into the communicator "Adam!" Kaz says.

"he's not responding the comm channel was cut when they locked down the facility" Oliver says

"What are we going to do?" Bree says "Aren't you the Miss, I don't follow orders because I have a plan!" Oliver says, Bree glares at him.

"Maybe I got ahead of myself" Bree says "very mature of you" Skylar says.

Bree gasps "Hey Hey! No fighting now okay!" Kaz says "Don't you see, we need to stay together as the team we are and will always be!" Oliver says.

"Look maybe we need this, we were out of action for a year and that was enough to make us rusty" Kaz says.

Harper wakes up alone on the couch, she rubs her eyes waking up, Chase comes out of the kitchen towards her with a mug in his hand.

"I made you tea" Chase sits next to her "Thanks" Harper takes the mug and drinks the tea.

"How are you feeling?" Chase asks "I'm better, far from perfect but better" Harper says blowing the tea to cool it down.

"That is good..."Chase fixes her hair, she adjusts her clothes, embarrassed because she looks like a mess "You look so beautiful with your hair messed up" Chase smirks, Harper sighs in relief hearing that.

"No i don't" Harper says "Yes you do" Chase kisses her cheek, Harper chuckles.

Chase smiles he holds her hand which is still warm and her face is red from fever.

"Still have a fever...you need a warm bath..." Chase says, Harper smiles "well...if you want...you know..." Harper points out the bathroom with her head "Oh really?" Chase smirk.

"yeah, like we used to do when we were on the run...to save time" Harper looks down shyly "We don't need to save time now" Chase says "I know but I...I'm very sick so..." Harper says shyly, Chase laugh gently.

"look, this is what we gonna do...we gonna take this bath as you wish..." Chase says, Harper chuckles shyly rolling her eyes.

"Then I will make you a snack, French toast with blueberry, your favorite" Chase holds her arms.

"and then we can watch that series you told me about, all night long until we fall asleep" Chase says "do you really want to do all that?" Harper ask "Of course, whatever is necessary to make you feel better" Chase says.

"Wow you are so perfect" Harper hugs him "no I'm not...but you're the only one who understands that" Chase smiles approaching her "same" Harper says.

"I love being imperfect with you" Chase chuckles leaning his forehead against hers, Harper rolls her eyes with a smile.

"Can I kiss you?" Chase asks "well, if you want to take a chance" Harper smirk "Horace said it's not that contagious" Chase says looking at her lips.

"but there's still a chance of it being i warn you" Harper smiles "it's worth it" Chase says leaning towards her cupping her face, he delicately connects his lips to hers.

Kissing her softly until Harper leans towards him and makes the kiss more intense, Chase can feel her lips and face hot, but he doesn't care when he feels her smiling against his lips.

Harper puts her hands on his shoulder and moves closer, her hands begin to travel from his shoulders to the back of his neck to his chest and back to his shoulders several times.

While Chase holds her waist tight making the kiss more passionate, Chase sighs against her lips breaking the kiss he rests his head on her shoulder while she holds his hair.

Chase takes the blanket off her and sets it aside, Harper moves away a little looking into his eyes.

Chase looks away from her eyes to the buttons of the pajama shirt she is wearing, without taking his eyes off her Chase takes off his jacket.

Harper takes a deep breath and Chase begins to undo the buttons on her pajamas as he does so he kisses her forehead gently.

Harper feels her heart racing watching him when he unbuttons the last button but he doesn't take off her pajamas he just leaves them open so he can see her bra under her shirt.

Chase looks at her with a gentle look taking her hand "Let's go" Chase says softly getting up.

Harper's face is red but at this point it's not possible to tell if it's because of a fever or something else, she gets up and follows him as he takes her to the bathroom.

Adam arrives at the facility, he sees FBI troops invading the place.

Adam goes there and starts knocking out the officers and using the neural scranbler on them making them pass out.

Adam enters a corridor determinedly heading towards an elevator, in the next corridor a security guard comes towards him, he just uses heat vision to knock the chandelier in the corridor onto the guy.

When another one appears on the way, shooting at him, Adam dodges the shots and holds the guy's arm, lifting him and making him shoot at the ceiling.

Adam headbutts the guy and another guard comes towards him, Adam throws the gun in the guard's face and goes to the elevator, keeping a serious expression.

The elevator opens revealing several security guards "Oh you guys are going to Y19 too" Adam says entering the elevator, the guys watch him press the button confused.

Adam starts whistling and the guys raise their guns towards him as the elevator closes.

When the elevator opens again in the underground wing of the facility, Adam is the only one standing in the elevator as the guards are knocked out on the floor.

Adam calmly whistles coming out of the elevator, halfway he comes across the officers who are surrounding the door to the room where Bree and the others are.

Adam takes a deep breath, he comes up behind the first guy and throws him.

Two others come towards him, he punches and trips the first and tries to shoot heat vision at the other but he dodges, Adam holds him but suddenly his cell phone starts ringing.

"Oh wait a minute!" Adam says, the guy frowns, Adam answers his cell phone "Hello?" Adam says "Aw hi my Teddy Bear" Adam smiles and looks at the guy.

"I miss you too, I was thinking, would you like to have dinner at the bar with me today?" Adam says on the phone, the guy rolls his eyes.

"Yeah, sure it could be...aw I love you too" Adam says, the guy throws Adam's cell phone away.

"Hey, that's rude man I was talking to my girlfriend!" Adam says the guy pushes him Adam holds him and knock him down, punching the guy.

Adam sighs and picks up his cell phone from the floor "I'm sorry baby, an idiot interrupted me" Adam says going to the door.

"Yes I know!" Adam says on the phone watching Bree and the rest fight with the guards "Aww you're so cute Smiley Face" Adam chuckles into the cell phone, he watches where all the security guards are.

"Yeah, okay baby I need to go see you later...love you" Adam turns off his cell phone and kicks the door in a guard's face.

"Adam!?" Kaz says "Wohoo! Adam came to save us!" Oliver says, Bree looks at him irritated, Oliver clears his throat "Not that we needed it" Oliver says.

Adam and Bree exchange serious looks.

Meanwhile, Harper and Chase are in the kitchen.

Harper is sitting at the counter drinking orange juice wearing pajama shorts and Chase's plaid shirt , while Chase is at the same counter making French toast for them shirtless with just gray pajama shorts, both with their hair wet.

"You're unbelievable!" Chase says indignantly putting milk in a bowl "I sorry" Harper Chuckles.

"when you think you know someone, she tell me she've never seen Interstellar" Chase says "I know" Harper hands him a spoon "I don't understand, it's just one of the best films ever made, Harp, how have you not seen it" Chase says.

"Why you never told me you loved this movie so much? I've known you for five years Chase!" Harper says, Chase laughs gently, Harper smiles at his smile.

"I had no idea this film was so important to you" Harper says, Chase mixes the ingredients in the bowl "Well, I really admire this film, by far one of Christopher Nolan's best works" Chase says, Harper smiles she rubs her red nose.

"better than Inception?" Harper says "almost...get me bread, sweetheart" Chase says, Harper smiles and bends down to get a bag of bread from the cupboard below the table.

"What do you like so much about this movie?" Harper hands him a bag of bread.

"Several things, Much of the script's science was based on the work of the famous theoretical physicist Kip Thorne, According to him, the film is one of the most scientifically correct in the industry...That alone is enough to earn my respect since most science fiction films are...""Scientifically wrong!" Harper adds rolling her eyes.

Chase chuckles and goes to the stove with the toast "I've heard that speech a thousand times and it never loses its fun, but it's very annoying" Harper says "There's nothing wrong with wanting coherence in cinematographic works Harp" Chase says putting the toast in the frying pan.

Harper watches him "you're right" Harper sneezes, Chase looks back to make sure she's okay "...tell me more facts about this movie" Harper says.

"well, Nolan's brand is work with practical effects" Chase says, "yeah, I love it, like when they set up a rotating structure for the hotel room scene that rotates in Inception" Harper says.

"Yeah, in Interstellar all the cornfield scenes were shot in a real cornfield, which Christopher Nolan paid for to be cultivated. It was about 200 hectares of corn" Chase says excitedly.

"Ooh..Which was later used to supply the popcorn pots of the cinemas that played the film around the world?" Harper smirks, Chase laughs and pays attention to the frying pan again, Harper watches him.

"you know what, as soon as we're done here why don't we watch the movie?" Chase asks "I would love to" Harper to get up and goes to him, she hugs him from behind.

"are you feeling better?" Chase asks "Yes I am, thank you" Harper kisses his back, Chase smiles.

"You made what was supposed to be a horrible day become a great day despite everything, Thank you sweetheart" Harper says "sure, I...sometimes i miss spending time like this with you" Chase says, Harper looks at him confused.

"I mean, we spend all our time together but...not like this you know" Chase says "We do a lot, meetings, mission management, we have a lot of responsibilities" Harper says.

"yes, we have this life to live but if it were possible to spend every day just enjoying my relationship with you and nothing else I would do it" Chase smirk "literally that would be a dream" Harper smiles.

Chase turns off the stove "Oh it smells so good!" Harper says taking the plates, Chase smiles.

"By the way, it's getting late, aren't they supposed to be back from the mission at this time?" Harper says.

"You're right, maybe they came back but they definitely would have come here to eat and rest if that was the case" Chase says "I think we should ask Adam" Harper says.

"No, I'm sure they're fine Adam would say if something went wrong" Chase says, Harper shrugs.

Adam tried to cover as many tracks as possible along the way and when he arrived at the room with the others they used a portable geo-leap device that Douglas had developed a while ago to take everyone to the jet that was nearby.

Adam takes everyone and Marcus back to headquarters.

They enter the headquarters and Adam puts Marcus on a stretcher "Take him to Douglas" Adam says firmly to Horace "yes vice captain!" Horace says and takes Marcus.

Adam walks to the control center and the rest of the team follows him "Thank you for coming to help us Adam" Skylar says "of course it's my duty...but I don't understand why you didn't follow orders I just wanted to help you!" Adam says, everyone looks at Bree.

"Adam, I..." Bree was about to start talking but stops when Adam wipes the sweat from his forehead with his shirt, when he lifts his shirt Bree sees that Adam has two scars on his abs.

Two deep scars that appear to have been made by bullets and the wounds had to be closed with homemade stitches, not through proper medical procedures.

Bree gets slightly worried seeing that he had such ugly scars and she had no idea.

"So?" Adam says impatiently, pulling his shirt down again "It wasn't their fault...it was mine, they had nothing to do with it" Bree says.

"I know I just didn't want to throw it in your face right away so you wouldn't feel worse" Adam says, Bree rolls her eyes.

"Bree, what's going on? Why did you do that?" Adam says "Guys, I think it's better to let them talk" Kaz says making Skylar and Oliver leave with him.

"I don't know, I just..." Bree sighs and sits down "it's just that we've worked together our whole lives, it was always me, you and Chase no matter what" Bree says, Adam sits next to her.

"But then all that happened and I feel like I was left behind... I'm not on the same mission mood since I got out of prison, but you guys, on the other hand, managed to improve your skills...I just felt left out because you guys were better than me and that made me vulnerable and I freaked out" Bree looks down.

"What? Bree that's bullshit... we're no better than you I never said that...If I made you feel this way I'm sorry...but I never doubted you" Adam says, Bree takes a deep breath.

"I'm just trying to protect you and the rest of the team but...Bree, no one is better than anyone else here, we are all part of the same team, these numbers and separations are just a silly organizational system that Chase invented to keep everything under control, even because before that everything was a mess we almost lost soldiers several times...it was a nightmare" Adam says.

"but I still have to follow your orders!" Bree says "Yes, just like we followed Chase's orders when he was mission leader, we both know we wouldn't do that because he's better than us" Adam says, Bree chuckles.

"And also, if you have suggestions or strategies that help with the mission, you have complete freedom to tell us and work alongside us" Adam says, Bree thinks.

"We're still a team...we're the exact same team it just got bigger" Adam says.

"But what you did today was very brave, and thanks to you we saved Marcus, I'm proud" Adam puts his hand on her back, Bree looks at him and smiles.

"That's so weird" Bree chuckles "what?" Adam says "This is the first time in my life that I'm actually seeing you as my big brother" Bree laughs, Adam smiles.

"Wow when did you become so mature?" Bree asks, Adam shrugs "I don't know, maybe we all grow up at some point" Adam says, Bree smiles.

"But I don't like it at all" Adam chuckles "You know, you really deserve to be vice captain of the Mighty Force, you all deserve your positions, you fought hard and grew a lot to get here...And I was the one who got stuck and kind of stopped in time" Bree says "Wait were you in a temporal prison? Is that why you don't age?" Adam says, Bree laughs.

"I'm just saying...maybe it's my turn to grow too, starting by facing this new life and the difficulties and sacrifices that come with it" Bree says, Adam smiles.

"I think you're doing very well, you're one of the strongest here... no doubt about that" Adam says "Thanks, and I promise I won't act on impulse anymore, nor will I care about these labels, but you have to be more disciplined" Bree says "That's my Bree" Adam hugs her.

The next day Adam meets with Chase and Harper at the command center.

"Good morning" Adam says "good morning" Chase says quietly "Good morning" Harper says.

"how are you feeling today?" Adam ask "much better, I already feel like I can do the work today, my cold must have healed by now" Harper smiles "I'm glad to hear that" Adam says.

Chase sits in the chair and puts his hand on his face "how was the mission yesterday?" Chase ask "Uh...Great, nothing outside of protocols" Adam says slightly nervously.

"so why are they taking so long to get back?" Harper asks suspiciously "Uh... because it was a delicate mission and the installation's security system was...uh Very sophisticated" Adam scratches the back of his head.

"Sophisticated?" Chase scratches his nose "Yup" Adam says "what went wrong? You usually use "sophisticated" words that you barely know the meaning of when you're hiding something" Harper says.

"everything was great, Adam did a perfect job as captain you have nothing to worry about" Bree approaches and hugs Adam "Okay then" Harper says still suspicious.

Chase sneezes "So Marcus is here?" Chase says in a nasal voice "Yes Douglas is working on reactivating him so that he is no longer traceable" Bree says "Great" Chase sneezes again.

Harper approaches him "Chase are you okay?" Harper puts her hand on his shoulder "I'm fined" Chase realizes and makes a frustrated face.

"Shit!" Chase says, Harper smiles and kisses his face.

"But it was worth it" Chase says he sneezes, Harper sighs and hug him.
