There are many reasons why I love Elijah Wood and I will list all these reasons below. First, I will explain how I came to know of his existence, though

I was a freshman in high school. For a few years, my dad had wanted to show me The Lord of the Rings trilogy since he likes them a lot

At the time, I had grown to be strongly biased against watching these movies. First, I had seen tiny snippets of this trilogy and decided they were boring. Second, I didn't like how each of these movies is three hours long. I wasn't eager to watch these movies at all

Then, I watched the beloved trilogy with my dad sometime that year. It might've been over Christmas Break or something. I remember just being blown away with how beautifully written these three movies are, and I regret not giving them a try sooner

When Frodo Baggins first makes his appearance, my dad teasingly said to me, "You think he's cute, don't you?"

I said no instantly, but then I actually developed a strong crush on Frodo

Now I bet he regrets asking me that because that's all I've been talking about for the past two or three weeks

I'm 17 years old now, and I still have a massive crush on Frodo Baggins to this day

However, it's not just Frodo that I have a crush on. I've developed a crush on Elijah Wood himself. Since we have such a massive age difference, I strongly doubt this crush will go anywhere (Also, he's a celebrity and has a girlfriend), but I've grown very fond of him

Now onto the reasons why I personally love Elijah Wood:

1. He is a very talented actor, and I like watching the productions he's been involved in

2. His voice is very soothing to listen to. Whether it's him acting as Frodo with that very pretty accent, voice acting as Wirt, or even reading that one children's book for a video you can most certainly find on YouTube, his voice is undoubtedly one of the most beautiful voices I've ever heard

I swear, he should get into ASMR, but that's probably just me

3. His laugh is goofy and adorable at the same time. I don't know whether I should be scared or impressed by how loud and silly he laughs, but I do know that it makes him more human than most Hollywood stars. Plus, it's fun to listen to :)

4. I literally have a crush on the man. Everyone I know might think it's odd or a complete hot take, but I don't care. He may be one of my unrealistic crushes, but he holds a special place in my heart

5. He honestly deserves more recognition for the work he does. Everyone knows him for Frodo, but he's also done work elsewhere that's just as good as Lord of the Rings

6. He was in a Yo Gabba Gabba episode one time haha
