Five Years Later

*Your POV*

You detangle yourself from your sheets and get up. You slump over to the kitchen and start making toast. Peter walks in and kisses your cheek. You turn to him, about to kiss him back, when you hear screaming and the pitter-patter of two sets of tiny feet. You turn around and you and Peter each pick up one of the twins. "Hello!" You tickle their tummies and whisper to Peter. "They must take after you if they like waking up early." Peter laughs and puts them down. "How about you girls go get changed?" They squeal again and run off down the hallway. Peter smiles and kisses your forehead and hugs you. "Have you thought of any names yet?" You pat your pregnant belly. "I used the best ones two years ago." Peter frowns. "But these two are boys?" You shrug. "Welp, either way, I'm running out of ideas." He smiles and looks at you. "Well, we have one month to figure it out."

You finish making breakfast and see Peter running around the couch trying to catch Mellisa and Jane as they turn invisible. Peter yells as he gets tackled to the ground and the twins become visible again. "I think they take after you." You laugh and give them some toast. "Who's ready to go to Uncle Steve and Aunty Nat's?" The girls cheer. Peter gets up and smiles. "What do you think about Caleb?" You kiss him on the cheek. "Caleb and Fin, I like it."

You hug Peter as he walks out the door. "Are you sure you want to take them today?" You hold his hand. "Only if you're okay with having a day to yourself." You laugh. "Oh, I am more than okay with that. I love you." You kiss his cheek. "Love you too." You chuckle as Jane and Missy each take one of Peter's arms and drag him to the car. You lean against the door frame and wave goodbye. Once they drive away you lay on the couch. You take a deep breath. For the first time in eleven years, you have complete silence.
