*Your POV*

"Start with what the nightmare was." You look at everyone and sigh. "The nightmare was the day I got taken by HYDRA. They came to this conference I was at when I was 13 and they took me and six others." Everyone looked confused. "Why the hell would HYDRA take a bunch of 13-year-olds from some conference?" Everyone looked at Sam. Tony looked at you, or at least, the bed. He hangs his head and barely whispers. "You were in ICE, weren't you?" You nod. Then you realize that they can't see you. "Um, yeah. I was." Bucky looks at Tony. "What the hell is ICE?" You turn to everyone. "I'll take this one."

"When I was 13, the government decided that they would start ICE, the International Conference of Excellence. You had to get great scores on tons of different tests, maths, essays, problem-solving, history, geography, art, writing, science, sport, all of that stuff. We spent the first half of the year preparing, and one term doing, and the conference would be in the last term. The top student of each continent would come together and meet at the conference. Everyone wanted to go so badly, so we all spent half a year with our noses in textbooks. I won as the Australian candidate, somehow, and left for New York. That was the last time I saw my parents and my sister." You rub your necklace, thinking about Ginger, wondering what she was doing. Tony looked up at the hospital bed. "So, you're like, crazy smart?" You chuckle. "Yeah, for a 13-year-old. Anyway,"

"There was me, Kamila Sanchez, Abasi Kimathi, Li Din Wang, Mellisa Wilkons, Ixtli Aaridak, and Fin Tiffadian. The first two days went as planned. We met, talked, took some photos. It was awesome. Mellisa, who we called Missy, and I were super close. She was from Britain. Everyone was so nice, and it just seemed so perfect. But on the third day, HYDRA bombed the hall, and.." You stop for a moment. You take a deep breath and started again. "and we got taken to a HYDRA base. None of us saw our families ever again." You wipe a tear out of your eye. Suddenly Wanda squeals and points at your foot. SHE CAN SEE YOUR FOOT! You look up and see Bruce practically jumping up and down. "What did you do? What's happening?" He looks at you. "I didn't do anything! But you're stress levels are going down, and we can see your foot! So this is a good start! Keep talking!" You smile as he gives you a thumbs up.

"Well they took us and gave us the usual super-soldier serum, but in each of us, they enhanced one quality even more. I had enhanced stealth, so I could turn invisible. They gave me the name Agent Obscure." Nat gasps. "YOU'RE AGENT OBSCURE?!?! Fury was so annoyed you guys! SO that's how you got out unnoticed! You little sneak." You laugh and look back at everyone. "Li Din was Lightspeed, with super speed. Abasi was Perception, he had super fast reflexes and could detect movement from miles away with one eye shut. Missy was Camelion, she could change what she looked like, the perfect disguise is an ever-changing one. Muscle Mayhem was Ixtli's code name. He was super strong." Bruce scoffed. "That dude almost gave me a run for my money once or twice." You smiled. "Kamila was Raven. She had super smarts and memory. And finally, Fin was Stretcher. He was so flexible, it was like he could choose when he had bones. We weren't really a team. We went on missions together sometimes, and we trained together, but we weren't a team. I only really stayed close with Missy. I only remembered I had a family, and life before HYDRA, a while after our base was destroyed, but Missy and I would wonder what our families were like, and if they were looking for us, that sort of stuff. The others were just HYDRA slaves after a year or two." You give a small laugh and look at every one. "Do I need to say what happened next?" You see everyone slouch over, knowing what came next. "Yeah, I think you do. We can see your knee though, so that's good." You look at Steve, a little sad that he said yes.

"Okay. We spent four years going on missions, training, sparing with each other. And then you guys came. You bombed the place, and I was the only one who made it out alive. Missy died last, I stayed with her. I watched some of them die, and Missy told me about the others.  I made it out because I left everyone else behind. I shouldn't have lived. But, I guess watching the few people I had left in my life die in front of me might be punishment enough." Everyone is looking at the ground, ashamed. "Look, I know you feel bad, but I was HYDRA, I would have killed people without hesitation when they put me in the state, you had to do it. You had to." Nat looks at you. "I'm still sorry. I'm really sorry." "I can't believe you lived through that." You see Steve jump a bit at the sound of Peter's voice. You smile, but no one notices. "Hey, look! An arm!" You wave your now visible elbow at everyone.

"Okay, final stretch I guess. After that, I didn't have anywhere to go. I couldn't go back to Australia, I had no money and no passport so I just stayed. I stole a car and drove to New York, and lived on the street for two years.  I just wish that I got to see my sister grow up. I haven't seen her in six years and I miss her so much. I just wish she was here. The nightmares were horrible, but I lived, and then, I was walking to a homeless shelter when some random guy kidnapped me." You turn to Bucky. "Hey, don't look at me, you were about to scream, I did what was necessary." He puts his hands up and Nat looked at him. "Nope, I agree with Y/N on this one, that was a terrible idea. You literally just kidnapped a random person. It was by no means necessary." You laugh and look at the window and gasp. You were fully visible again! You did a tiny dance and everyone laughed. Bruce stepped forward. "My current theory is that when you get really scared or stressed, and it becomes almost too much, you lose control of your powers." You smile and thank him and Tony steps back from you. "Why don't we just let Y/N get some rest. I think she needs it." You smile and nod, and everyone leaves. You snuggle into the bed and immediately fall asleep.

I think that because it's in big blocks, this chapter feels longer than it actually is. I'm sorry for updating so late, it's been a while.
