Elena Gilbert, and her cousin Mackenzie Gilbert, are moving to Beacon Hills because Elena's Aunt Jenna and Mackenzie's mom wants to move them away from the sketchy Salvatore brothers that seem to always cause trouble.

Upon arriving to Beacon Hills Elena and Mackenzie meet Carter, Sky, Sammy, and Rey who have connections to the McCall pack, but they instantly become friends with Elena and Mackenzie.

However, Scott finds out that Elena is on the deadpool and asks the girls to get more information on her. The girls try to find out more about Elena but she doesn't seem to budge. So they take a vote, that since Carter is the closest to the girl then she will be the one to get the information from her. Carter finds out Elena's secret and tells the others, so the pack decides to invite Elena to a fake party and tell her about their supernatural abilities and offer her protection. Will Elena accept their offer or run away?
