A young woman ran through the battlefield , holding the baby closer .

"Aqua , Hurry!" A young man shouted , holding soldiers back . Aqua nodded as she ran faster until a soldier shoved and the baby fell out of her arms but luckily it wasn't hurt .

The soldier was going to stab the baby with his sword .

"NO!" Aqua cried as she shielded the baby girl . The sword that had aimed the baby's heart had slashed Aqua's arm so viciously that it was separated from her body .

"Aqua!" A young woman exclaimed as she held soldiers back . "Take Mist" Aqua managed to choke out . The young man ran and picked up the baby "We can't leave you here , Skye"

"On it" Skye said as she slashed a soldier's body in half mercilessly . She ran and bent beside her best friend "Aqua , are you okay , don't worry . Everything's gonna be fine" She picked Aqua in her arms as blood flowed out of her injury like a waterfall .

She and the young man ran towards their secret cave . Once inside , the young man locked the door and made sure there was no way the army could get in .

Skye laid Aqua on the floor . "Skye , I don't think I'm going to make it" Aqua choked out . "No , Aqua . Don't say that" Skye cried .

"Remember Skye , I love you and you may lose me but you still have Mist , Take care of my Mist..." And those were her last words .

"NO!" Skye cried as tears flowed from her red eyes like a waterfall . She rested her head on her friend's chest and cried . "No , Aqua!" The young man picked her lifeless body and started crying "No . Aqua sweetie , please don't go" . There was no use . She was already dead . He kissed her forehead and laid her back down . He wiped the tears and looked at Skye .

He put a hand on her shoulder "Hey , you remember what she said right" He said as he handed the baby to her . Skye gazed at the baby girl wrapped in an ocean blue blanket who looked up at her with those big blue eyes "You're right Callisto , Aqua would want me to raise her" . She wiped her tears away as she stood up and walked to the garden .

"I may have lost Aqua but I still have you" Skye laid down with the baby on her chest .

She started singing

By now Skye had fallen asleep with Mist snoozing peacefully on her chest . Callisto and Rai came out of their hiding place and looked at her .

"You know she has a beautiful voice" Rai said as Callisto nodded "I bet she stole Storm's heart using her voice"

"I bet Skye would steal yours if she heard that" Rai punched him playfully in the shoulder .

"Now what do we do?" Callisto said looking down at her "We can't take her to her bed like that and we can't remove Mist 'cause she barely even knows us"

"Leave her here" Rai shrugged . Callisto's eyes' widened "What!? Are you crazy? Darkon will definitely take her"

"I assure you this place is safely guarded" Rai said .

"By Darkon's army" Callisto muttered "I swear , if we lose Skye too , I'm gonna commit suicide" .

"We won't . We both know we'll protect her and she can take care of herself too" .
