"Welcome home Mila!" My adoptive parents exclaims as I came home from school.... did I mention my Birthday is today. "Sorry, I can't talk right now, I got lots of homework this weekend." Also... did I mention it's Friday?! It's nice.... I'm 'supposed to have shadow powers by grade 10 but I don't believe in that type of thing.
I walk up the tall stairs, my bedroom is the top floor of a 5 story house (fancy, I know) but all the bedrooms are on the 4th and 5th stories.

After that loooonnnnggg walk up the stairs I throw by bookbag onto the queen size bed that I share with no one, not even when I have a sleepover! I jump, landing stomach first on the bed, then I sits up calmly and open my book bag. I open my Legend book of Magic stuff. Legends are apart of my history, mostly magic legends though....

I start to read slowly word by word, 'Years ago there was 5 races, Humans, Wizards, Witches, Elements and Animals. Animals lived in the forest like they are now and Humans lived with Wizards and Witches who helped them. Soon though the Wizards and Witches parished on less than a week, getting killed one by one. Elements on the other hand were almost forgotten, they lived by or in their element. Water, Air, Earth, Fire, Darkness, And Light were the most common. Dream element used to be uncommon but their bloodline died trying to stop their own nightmares with their powers. The other elements was passed down one by one. After the parents died the crystals would either go to the child's children, Break or go to another one of that element's bloodline. Dream's one broke every single time stopping them, but no more elements of Dreams, or the rare types could form after they all died.'

After reading that I realizes the time. 5:32 so I race down stairs and sees my favorite supper on the table. I squeals and sits down, calming myself. My adoptive mom walks to the table with a bigger smile than normal. I question it for a second cause she says excitedly right away "Honey! You will be going to a new, more advanced high school than the high school here! You were invited and don't need to pay anything! Also you will have one of the biggest dorms with Yuma!"

I suddenly sees the now forgotten supper on the table and I look up to mom in excitement because.... Yuma will be there.
