"God damn Namjoon and his stupid riddles. At least we know he's on Earth." Seokjin cursed, tapping his pen against the corner of the desk as he stared at the words he had scribbled down against the page.
The group was still seated in the library, crowded around one small desk as they all cast their attention to the sheet of paper. Aurora had dragged a chair beside Seokjin, her elbows rested against the wooden desk as she looked on in puzzlement. Leaning on the desk beside her, Jimin too cast his eyes to the paper, but was still slightly shaken up about the newly found information... that he was a reincarnation of a girl.
Sitting on top of the desk was Yoongi, legs crossed as he shrunk into himself as much as possible to avoid accidentally bumping the paper, Hoseok stood behind him, a hand resting next to Yoongi's leg as he leant over the male's shoulder. And then there was Jungkook, simply giving everyone their space as he took a step back.
Flicking at his pen, Seokjin began to pull at his hair, tuffs of blonde pocking in all different directions as he studied the words on the page, "I think I might know what he means... but I want to make sure that I'm one hundred percent right." He brought the tip of his pen back down to the paper, beginning to circle a few words, "I might need some reassurance from Google that what I'm saying is right..."
Hoseok gave a light chuckle before slipping his phone out from the pocket of his jeans, tapping away at the screen as he pulled open his search bar, "I don't know why you need Google to back us up, but alright."
Seokjin gave a gesture of thanks before turning back to the page, "The first line, 'Local is Earth' refers to the position of your solar system within the Milky Way." he lifted his gaze from the paper, "Am I right, Hoseok?"
The male shook his orange hair from his eyes as he typed the information into google, giving a quick thumbs up when it loaded, "You're right. Our solar system is located within the Local section of the Galaxy, also known as 'Orion's arm.'"
Seokjin snapped his fingers, "Bingo." he grinned, tracing his finger over the second line, "It says 'Spinning under Orion's touch' which I'm guessing refers to the branch of the Milky Way Galaxy that the earth falls under, 'Orion's Arm.'" He trailed his finger down to the third and forth lines, "If we assume he means earth, I'm guessing 'Above or Below' refers to the Northern and Southern hemispheres. Depending on which country you live in, the Milky Way or 'Orion's Arm' appears different."
Jimin's eyes lit up, "I studied this! In the Northern Hemisphere, the Milky Way Galaxy is closer to the horizon, making some things more difficult to see. Those in the Southern Hemisphere on the other hand are privileged to see the Milky way high overhead with much more detail."
Impressed, Seokjin pointed his pen towards Jimin, "I guess that means Namjoon is in the Southern Hemisphere." he ran his hand through his hair once again, "It must be someplace secluded, but he would never travel to some small island... he would need a place with a large civilisation, and the internet at least." Seokjin snickered, scribbling a few notes against the paper.
Tapping away at his phone again, Hoseok's lips twisted into a frown, "There aren't many major countries down under... other then South America, the Philippines, New Zealand, Austra-"
"Australia!" Aurora shout, her voice echoing throughout the silence of the library. She instinctively rose a hand over her face to shield herself from the embarrassing stares some of the people studying where sending her way. She let out a breath, "Australia." she spoke, leaning in towards the group, "It's a major country with a fantastic view of the night sky, Andromeda is visible there too." she spoke, pausing as Seokjin sent her a pleased expression. She continued, "There's too much light pollution on the coast, but if you travel inland to the centre of the country, the sky is absolutely flooded with stars. The Milky Way is directly overhead," she spoke excitedly, gesturing with her hands, "And that's not all, Australians named one place 'The red centre,' or 'The red heart.' It's a massive red sandstone monolith in the heart of the country."
Backing up Aurora's words, Hoseok cut in, eyes glued to his phone, "She's right, better yet there's absolutely no light pollution... the closest town is 450km away, which is-" he pulled up the calculator app, "Roughly more then 4 and a half hours away."
"Perfect." Seokjin chirped, slamming his pen against the table. "We figured it out."
Hoseok broke out into a toothy grin, his smile practically radiating energy as he rose a hand out towards Aurora, "High five!"
With a laugh, she pushed her hand into Hoseok's. Hoseok took a hold of it, giving it a light squeeze, "Looks like you pretty much guessed it all on your own. Did you study Australia or-"
"Actually I didn't really." she confessed, slipping her hand from Hoseok's grasp, "I studied a bit of astrology and remembered what I learnt about the Southern Hemisphere." she shrugged, earning an impressed glance from Jimin who was still standing beside her.
Seokjin folded up the piece of paper, stuffing it into his backpack, "I guess this settles it then." he spoke up, standing from his chair, "We're heading down to Australia to meet with Namjoon, and then," he paused, making sure everyone was paying attention before he continued, "We're heading to Andromeda."
Yoongi who was still seated on the desk waved his hands out in front of him, "Wait, wait, wait..." he uttered, brows knit as he locked eyes with Seokjin, "We can't leave without Taehyung-"
"-No need to wait for him." Seokjin smirked, placing a hand against his jutted out hip as he turned his head over his shoulder. The group waited in both silence and confusion as they watched Seokjin call out, "I know you've been following us, you can come out now." he chuckled lowly.
The group fell speechless as none other then Taehyung himself rounded the corner, crossing his arms over his chest. He let out a huff, blowing a stray strand of blue hair from his deep purple eyes as he faced the group. Some of the people in the library stopped to stare at the male, the way his long black coat almost dragged over the carpet as he walked forwards, "Just so you know, I'm doing this because I'm bored."
Seokjin rolled his eyes, "Whatever you say."
Taehyung then made his way over to the group. His face shrivelled up at the sight of all of them crowding over the one table, so looking around he was quick to spot Jungkook standing slightly away from them, keeping to himself. Crossing his arms over his chest, Taehyung made his way to Jungkook's side, wordlessly standing beside the younger male.
Yoongi who was still seated at the desk scoffed at Taehyung's sudden re-appearance before turning back to the group, "Hey Hoseok," he said, grabbing the male's attention before gesturing underneath the desk, "Mind getting my laptop from my bag?"
"Sure." he replied, crouching down as he reached under the wooden desk. It took him a moment to move a few stray chords aside as he dug for the case, but soon enough Hoseok managed to find Yoongi's black laptop, standing back up and handing it to the male.
Yoongi gave a small smile as he took it into his grasp, placing it in his lap and opening it up. Hoseok was able to lean over Yoongi's shoulder quite easily. The table Yoongi sat on top of levelled out Hoseok's height with his own.
"Seokjin." Yoongi piped up, lifting his eyes from the computer screen, "Are we going by plane, or do you have some kind of weird magical portal that we can all leap through?"
Seokjin gave a laugh, lifting a hand in front of his mouth as he shook his head, "I don't have anything like that... so we're taking a plane."
"Got it." Yoongi said, fingers typing feverishly at his keyboard as his eyes scanned the screen. It took a few minutes for Yoongi to find a flight that would support all seven of them and still leave within the next twenty-four hours. But after a few clicks of the mouse, Yoongi managed to secure seven tickets from Seoul to Sydney Australia. "We have to catch an eleven hour flight to Sydney first, then we catch a three hour flight from Sydney to Alice Springs where 'Uluru' is located..." he spun around his screen, tapping against a photo of the sight, "Also known as the heart of Australia." he smiled triumphantly.
Hoseok however glanced over at the price of the tickets instead, running a hand stressfully through his hair, "Thank God Seokjin is rich."

Tickets in their hands, backpacks slung over their shoulders, the six elementals and their collector showed up at the airport the very next day with almost no plans whatsoever. They decided only to bring carry on baggage, which had a limit of a few kilos so most of them had to pack as light as possible.
The airport was designed so perfectly, the walls so elegantly curved and wrapping around to create this inner space. The beams supported so many windows, letting in so much light that in the daytime it was as bright as it could possibly be. They arrived in the morning, deciding it would be best to just spend the entire day travelling and then arrive in Australia at night... luckily for them, during this time of the year Korea only had a one hour time difference with Sydney.
People moved in chaotic groups, each one heading for a destination of their own making. Funny how the world was ending but no one even turned an eye to it, still going about their days. The floors were clean and white, even as people wheeled their suitcases over the tiles.
"Lets go check in." Jimin said, adjusting his sunglasses as he led the group towards the check in service.
They had all changed clothes the night before. Seokjin had told them to wear something comfortable, seeing as the clothes they were wearing would probably be the clothes they would have to wear to Andromeda. So they chose wisely.
Seokjin wore a hoodie and some baggy pants, same went for Jungkook and Yoongi. Hoseok on the other hand wore a colourful sweater, his orange hair pushed back by a pair of sunglasses. Jimin too wore a pair of glasses, wearing a t-shirt underneath a jacket. Lastly, Taehyung wore a black t-shirt underneath his long black coat, his hands shoved in his pockets as he lazily followed the rest of the group.
Check in didn't take very long.
None of them packed anything dangerous, no weapons, no nothing. Seokjin had explained earlier that all they had now was their elemental abilities.
So without delay, they made it to the waiting seats for their flight. In the departure lounge there was a curious mixture of bored and excited people. Some looked like they were waiting for a bus, others like they were children waiting for Santa himself. Some lounged on the low comfy chairs and others bounced on their toes as they awaited the flight's departure.
Aurora couldn't help but start to feel giddy with excitement. She had never visited a foreign country, and even though they weren't going to be in Australia for long,
It would be a great place to visit.
{Author Note}
You should've seen me today... a bag of popcorn in my hands... watching your theories for the riddle pop up in the comment section lmao, all good guesses though!
Anyways, Uluru is at the heart of Australia. I actually visited there two years ago... and it's truely the most beautiful thing I've ever seen (I'm a hippy don't judge). I go camping in outback Australia all the time, so I'm very use to seeing the Milky Way... but at Uluru... you could see EVERYTHING. Its in the middle of absolutely nowhere, basically like being on a ship in the middle of the ocean with no lights on, it's spectacular!
Here's an image of the place:
And the camera couldn't even capture half of it!
