With his arms folded over his chest, Hoseok was first to exit the apartment building, strolling out the front entrance with Yoongi following closely behind.

As if on cue, time had unfrozen itself, cars moving up and down the street, headlights on full beam, blinding the city goers jotting along the footpath, umbrellas overhead and eyes glued to their phones as they made their way home from work.

"Dammit." Yoongi uttered under his breath, falling into stride alongside Hoseok as they walked down the rain-washed pavement. Yoongi found himself sauntering in the heavy rainfall, small pellets of water falling to his skin as the remainder of the drops quenched the scattered puddles decorating the cracks of the footpath. The headlights of cars illuminated his pale form as he hung his head low, shoving his hands into the pockets of his dampened jeans, shoulders slumped as he walked.

From beside him, Hoseok hugged himself tightly, arms wrapped around his shivering form. There was a heaviness to his jumper, the water soaking into the thick material and making the male all the more cold. The rain fell in crazy chaotic drops, the gusty wind carrying them in wild vortices. It ran down Hoseok's face as a thin layer, dripping from his darkened and damp orange hair and rolling from his forehead down past his parted lips.

"It's alright, we did our best." he spoke, arms beginning to noticeably tremble, "At least we know he can fend for himself." Hoseok commented, finding it reassuring that the blue haired male knew what he was in for.

From beside him, Yoongi kept his hands shoved in his pockets, rivers of water drizzling over his exposed arms earning glances of concern from passers by. "Yeah, but this just makes things harder!" Yoongi exclaimed, finding the strength to lift his head to meet with Hoseok's gaze, "How the hell are we able to find him again? Yet alone keep him with us!" he shout, raven hair almost matted against his forehead in the heavy rain.

Not only that, but the wet material of Yoongi's shirt was now clinging to his slender form, outlining the male's somewhat smaller build, frail almost it appeared to Hoseok as he momentarily scanned the male up and down. Unlike Yoongi, Hoseok was wearing a loosely fit jumper, but all it seemed to do was fail to keep the heat in and weigh him down instead.

"We'll figure something out... lets just head back to Aurora in the meantime." Hoseok suggested, growing colder with each passing second, "She might be worried."

Waves of water washed over the pavement at Aurora's feet, creating a melancholic song. Waiting for both Hoseok and Yoongi to return, she stood there, her gaze burning across the city streets, staring into the crowd of passers by as she tried to spot the pair.

Clutching her umbrella tightly in her grasp, Aurora knew that whilst only a second had passed for her, an eternity may've passed for them. So keeping her head held high, she patiently waited in the middle of the street, not caring when people rudely bumped shoulders with her or nudged her to the side without so much as an apology.

Her eyes scanned the streets left and right, eyes narrowed to see past the blur of rain pouring down from the heavens. And not much later, Aurora caught the eye of a familiar head of orange hair, letting out a sigh of relief as both Hoseok and Yoongi pushed past the crowd towards her.

Watching them approach her, she couldn't help but shudder at the sight of Hoseok so cold, wet hair a tousled mess and usually tanned skin fading into something so unsaturated and pale. Beside him, Yoongi was soaked as well, dripping from head to toe, "Gosh you guys are soaked!" she scolded, quickly jotting up to them as she pulled the pair underneath her umbrella, the trio huddling together.

She peered over their shoulders, "So are your bags..."

"It's alright..." Hoseok spoke, bringing a hand to his mouth as he let out a sneeze, body beginning to tremble even more despite the fact that he was now huddled against both Yoongi and Aurora.

With wide eyes, Aurora looked behind the pair, "Did you get him!?"

"We- um..." Hoseok let out a defeated sigh, "no sorry."

Aurora's mouth gaped open, "Wait... is he okay-"

"He's more then okay." Yoongi butted in, gaze set to the pavement, "He knew about his god damn ability already!" he exclaimed, hair falling over his eyes.

Aurora frowned, confused by the situation, "Was he an original?"

Hoseok shook his head, "No... he's brand new to this position just like us." he began to explain, "Apparently one of his parents is from another galaxy. He was told about the legend of the Seven Elements and figured out his ability on his own by the sounds of it... if that's even possible."

Bringing a finger to her chin in ponder, Aurora couldn't help but fall into thought, "Something sounds kinda off..." she spoke softly, "Lets try and talk to Jin about this." she slipped her phone out from her pocket, "I texted him and he's still at his office, so lets just head there." she suggested, deciding that gathering in a place close by like Jin's office would be more beneficial for Hoseok who needed to urgently warm up.

Hoseok gave a small nod, "I'll let Jimin know." he sniffled.

Like everything else in Seokjin's office, Hoseok had noticed that the couch he now sat upon had the personality of its owner, a piece made more for style than comfort.

Slightly shivering, Hoseok sunk into the cushions of the lounge, small beads of water dripping periodically from his dampened bangs and rolling down his skin.

Cold tingled at his face and crept under his clothes, spreading across his skin like the lacy tide on a frigid winter beach. With purple lips tinged with blue and gently chattering teeth, he pulled the woollen blanket further up to his chest. The cold that had seemed mild at first now numbed his fingers, proving to him that allowing for himself to stay out in the rain for too long was detrimental.

With a shaking hand, Hoseok clung to the woollen blanket, tucking his knees to his chest as he sat against the couch. The sound of the office doors opening welcomed Seokjin's assistant, the petite girl strolling over towards Hoseok's still almost dripping wet form as she handed the male a steaming cup of coffee.

Reaching out a weak hand, Hoseok took the drink into his grasp, smiling through chapped lips, "Thank you." he spoke kindly, humming as he felt the warmth feed in through the palms of his hand, bringing him a soothing feeling as he sat with the beverage.

Unlike Hoseok, no one else in the room had felt the effects of the weather outside. Seated on the opposite lounge, Aurora sat with one leg crossed over the other, a little cold, but fine none the less. Beside her, Yoongi sat casually, still clad in his wet t-shirt without a bother.

Standing in the centre of the room, Seokjin stood with his arms crossed over his chest, slightly rocking himself backwards and forth on his heels as he pondered.

"Has it always been this bad?" Yoongi spoke up, cutting through the intense silence as he turned his gaze towards Hoseok.

The orange haired male lowered his drink from his lips, the colour slowly returning to his face as he locked eyes with the raven haired male, "I've always been more prone to the cold, but ever since my ability has awakened, I can't help but feel myself growing colder then before." he began to explain, a worrisome expression creeping over his features.

From outside the office, the rain fell softly against the windows, droplets racing down the glass. The atmosphere was growing even dimmer with the slow descent of the sun, late afternoon kicking in faster then they first thought it would.

"Odd..." Seokjin spoke up, frowning a little before deciding that he'd look into it. "I'll check it out later." he smiled sadly, clearing his throat as he gained the groups attention, turning back towards Aurora, "For now, Aurora, I need a rundown." he instructed, earning a nod from the female.

Leaning forwards in her seat, she began to speak, "Okay so to put it simply, I ran into an elemental on the streets. Yoongi and Hoseok pursued him after you froze time, but ran into some issues along the way." she explained, leaving out the extra information on her increasingly painful electric shocks. She knew she'd have to bring it up eventually, but now didn't seem like the right time. They already had too much to think about.

Yoongi picked up from where Aurora left off, "Yeah... when we got to him, he managed to activate his ability himself." he spoke, running a hand through his damped hair and slicking it back from his forehead, "He was the one who took out the enemy... and with ease might I add, he's definitely known about his ability for a while."

Hoseok was quick to speak up, "The guy revealed himself to us... he claims he's an intergalactic mixed-racial. One parent from earth, one from another galaxy." he sighed, taking another sip of his steaming cup of coffee, "He says he was born on earth though... but he's definitely unworldly, his hair and eyes ain't human." he finished, eyes falling over Seokjin as he awaited the male's response.

Furrowing his brows, Seokjin wore a troublesome expression. "I see..." he spoke lowly, still leaning against his office desk, "It isn't common, but yes some people travel to earth to seek refuge sometimes from the stress of the intergalactic society of space." he began to explain, making it clear that the earth was almost like a secret safe haven in the universe. "Earth is the only place that has yet to discover life other then its own, this sets them apart." he spoke, gesturing with his hands as he did so, "Maybe that's why the new elementals were all born here... it's a lot safer to be oblivious of such a legend."

Placing a hand against the back of his neck, Yoongi let out a sigh, "So I guess we ain't a very advanced society."

With a small chuckle, Seokjin shook his head, blonde tousled bangs falling softly over his eyes, "I wouldn't put it that way. You've got wonderful technology, very unique in comparison to some of ours." he complimented, earning a raised brow from Yoongi.

"Huh?"

"Anyways..." Seokjin cut back in, clearing his throat, "did you see his elemental abilities?"

Giving a slight nod, Hoseok leant forwards in his seat, "Black mist... voids."

Lips parting, Seokjin was quick to identify the male's abilities, "Ahhh... so he must be the ether elemental."

"Ether?" Aurora piped up, lips twisting into a frown as she turned towards Seokjin with a look of curiosity.

He only shrugged, "Basically dark matter, the forces of space such as black holes and such."

Hoseok's eyes grew slightly wider, "Oh, I didn't know an element like that was a thing." he added, hands still wrapped around his cup of coffee.

"It is. Powerful too..." Seokjin sighed, taking himself away from his office desk as he placed a hand against his hip,

"If its power is put to the right use that is."
