The Legend of Admis pt.2
The Kingdom of Darkness
He stood in the center of the stadium and waited. This was the moment he had been waiting on since he existed. Dark had taken him and explained to him that he and his counterparts were both gods. That one represented good and one evil. She told him that their sole purpose was to fight each other until only one remained. He wondered why, but he knew better than to ask her. Yes she had taken him in, had raised and trained him. Yet he also knew that she had a very bad temper and learned early on that she did not like to be questioned.
Dark explained that his power was in hatred and anger and that the humans that he had a hand in creating deserved to die. Only after he killed his sister could he demolish the world. She had also warned him against taking action now. Although he did not nessecarily agree with her. In fact he knew that although he was not stronger than her that one day he would be. It seemed as if she wanted the humans to die, but he had a better use for them. His first order of buisness was to kill his sister.
A light flashed and she was suddenly there with Light, Dark's twin. Light gave his sister a warm smile before looking up as Dark approached.
"I was beginning to think that you were not going to show up." Dark said a smile on her face.
Lies, and they all knew it and as Light spoke to Dark, Nigel had time to study his sister. He had been told her name was Lucinda. Lucinda studied him as well with equal curiosity.
"Very well then." Dark said loudly so that all three sets of eyes were trained on her. "This is a sparring match, it is forbidden for a kill to be made."
She made sure her eyes were set on him and they exchanged a look. She no longer struck fear in him and he knew she was beginning to become aware of that fact. He no longer tried to hide it. Instead he nodded and looked at the girl.
"I will not go easy on you." He warned.
Lucinda looked at him curiously and responded, "I never intended for you to. Just know I too will not go easy on you."
Anger swelled up in him and he felt his power begging to be used. If he had no intention of killing her before he did now. How dare she even think that she had a chance against him. They did not notice that Dark and Light were no longer with them.
Lucinda's eyes began to glow and he could feel the light, the innocence. It fueled his anger and hatred and he wanted nothing more than to destroy it. He wanted to destroy everything and he had every intention of doing it, beginning with her.
He lunged forward sending an energy ball flying towards her. She disappeared and appeared behind him. She knocked his legs from under him sending him crashing to the ground.
He looked up to see Light and Dark looking hovering above them. Light look amused but Dark looked angry. He felt her anger and then surprise as he took it from her. He took a lot more from her and stood his eyes narrowed. She had lied about a lot. He felt Lucinda come for him and held his hand out freezing her into place.
"You stay there." He said before focusing his hatred and anger into the palm of his hand.
It felt hot, it burned and Light started to protest. Dark sensing what was to come pushed her sister out of the way and began to focus her own energy.
"You dare?" She snarled angrily.
"You dared." Lucinda said softly as Nigel concentrated his power, as he began siphoning power from her, as he took raw innocence and distorted it. Twisting it until there was no innocence left.
"You lied to us Dark." Lucinda whispered.
"As you are now you cannot kill me." Dark warned.
"We are aware of that fact. And we have no intention on doing so. However..."
Nigel grinned, "We can make sure you never interfer again."
He let the energy ball fly before she could release her own and it hit her full on. She screamed as dark light consumed her, until there was nothing left but a small black orb. Nigel went to it and picked it up slowly. He held it in the palm of his hand and it felt warm, but he could also feel her power inside of it. She was correct, as he was now he could never really kill her. Yet now that he knew the truth, or at least some of it. Now that he knew this he could get the power to kill her and the rest of them.
Darkness swirled within him and he finally knew what he was going to do. He was going to kill everyone, and he was going to make her watch. He was going to corrupt her innocence, he was going to stamp out her light. He could not kill her, to do so would only result in him dying as well.
He turned to Lucinda and smiled, "Don't worry love I will make this all better."
He took a step forward only for a dagger to fly past his face. Light slowly moved so that she was standing in front of Lucinda blocking his view. He frowned, he'd hope she would just run away.
"I won't let you kill her." Light said has she held out another dagger.
He watched her warily, "It is not my intent to kill her. We both know that to kill her would be to kill myself. She is a part of me is she not?"
Light frowned, "What are you planning?"
He chuckled, "Well it's simple, me and her cannot remerge until there is a balance. I will rectify that. If there is only darkness there can be balance. I plan to corrupt her to make her like me so that we can once again become one and kill everything." He held out his hand an energy orb glowing brightly in his palm. "I will start with killing the one person she cares about the most."
"Stop it..." Lucinda whispered, "You are wrong, I will not allow you to kill her."
"What was that?" Nigel asked raising a brow.
Lucinda looked up at him tears in her eyes, "I will never allow you to corrupt me. I will never allow you to hurt her. You underestimated me before, you underestimate me now because I am smaller than you, because I look more frigile."
"You mean to show me otherwise."
Lucinda smiled sadly, "I will do everything in my power to stop you."
Her eyes began to glow as her body lifted up into the air. Nigel frowned and looked at Light, "What is going on."
Light smiled, "She's a creator, she's creating."
Suddenly there was a burst of light and Nigel heard roars. Roars that sent shivers up his spin. Lucinda looked down at him with sadness in her eyes, "Just as you are not strong enough yet, neither am I, but I know while it is easier for you to grow in strength it will take me time "....four dragons flew down from the sky and landed before Nigel and Light. The roared again and Lucinda said, "So long as my children live you will never destroy me."
Nigel started to step forward when one of the dragons. A massive black beast with bright red iris roared, fire spilling from it's mouth. The flames were so hot Nigel had to jump back. Lucinda floated towards that dragons back and said, "Good luck to you brother." Suddenly all of the dragons took off and Nigel turned to Light.
Rage was beginning to build as he fantasied about snapping her neck, about breaking every bone in her body. Yet she knew something, something that Dark had still managed to keep with him before he sealed her away.
"You know something." He accused.
Light looked at him her eyes softened, "Ask me no questions, and I will tell you no lies."
He growled, "Very well then. You can join your sister."
