Malone's

Isis reappeared and walked straight to the girl, who seemed calmer. Pulling up a chair Isis sat across from the girl, her arms folded over her chest. Her expression was hard and calculating as if she were trying to figure the girl out.

"Your name?" Isis asked a brow raised.

Hawke came forward and placed his hand on Jin's shoulder. "We should leave now, there are things I have to explain to you. Do not worry about Isis or Lucy. They can handle everything from here."

Lucy offered a small smile before saying, "Yes. It is okay to go."

Jin hesitated once more looking at Isis and the girl stare each other down. He allowed Hawke to lead him out of Malone's. Whatever was going on was serious and whatever secret they were keeping from him was bound to come out soon enough.

"The way I look at it is this, B26 is after you, and at the moment I am the only one that can keep you safe. So your name please?"

The girl remained silent and Isis decided a new approach. "Do you know, the whole concept of vampires fascinated me. Humans over the years have come to their own conclusions. Very off the mark, but entertaining. The true legend is that the Dark God created seven vampires. One that represents each sin, and they are capable of creating situations that allow them to feed." The girl frowned and Isis continued,"Seven he created and only seven allowed to exist at a time. And yet that is not entirely the truth."

The girl's head snapped up as Isis smiled, "I am more than willing to help you so long as we agree that you will never do that again."

The girl nodded her head and said softly, "My name is Eros. And yes, I am lust."

Lucy folded her arms over her chest and narrowed her eyes. "That can't be right, the Lust Vampire is in B26 captivity. We've tried numerous times to break him out."

Isis shook her head, "He is, however she is as well."

Eros looked at Isis her eyes wide, "You know my brother?"

Isis nodded, "Yes, he was at Ardin facility before I destroyed it. He was the only other witch allowed to be in my presence." She studied Eros before asking, "I'm just curious, if they have him, why are they after you?"
Eros shrugged, "Before I went on the run Envy found me and told me that the time had come for them to hunt us all down. A few days later she went missing. I have tried to contact the others, but nothing."

"Isis a word?" Lucy said as she started to walk away.

Isis looked at the girl and said, "Stay here."

She followed Lucy and as soon as they were out of earshot Lucy said, "We can't help her."

"Oh?" Isis raised a brow. "And why is that?"

"The sin's are a creation of the dark God. Besides if they are after her, it is only a matter of time before they discover you and Jin. We can't save everyone."

Isis sighed, "You are acting as if we are powerless against them. Whatever they are trying to do can not be good for us. They are planning something and they need her to fulfill those plans. We've been running for a long time and frankly I'm tired of running."

Lucy started to argue but stopped herself. Isis had a point, and even if she didn't, Lucy was tired of running too. So Lucy nodded and they walked back to where Eros sat together.

"I will talk with Malone tomorrow about getting you a job and a place to stay." Isis said as she extended her hand. "In the meantime you can stay with me. Lucy will take you back to our home and I will be back later to discuss more."

Eros took Isis's hand and stood. She whispered softly, "He loves you..."

Isis stiffened and offered her a weak smile before Eros followed Lucy out of Malones. She finished cleaning and locking up. As she walked out Darrion stood against his bike smiling at her.

"You and I sir have a problem." She said to him narrowing her eyes.

Jin and Hawke

"So we are moving again?" Jin asked as Hawke packed quickly.

Hawke lifted his head and said, "Not away just out of this place. It will be easy for them to find us here."

"Them?"

Hawke sighed and stopped what he was doing, "B26. They are a government agency that we have been on the run from all of these years."

"The government? That's what this is all about? Exactly what is going on?"

"Eight years ago Isis and I destroyed one of the government facilities that were testing on children. That's all you need to know for now. We are staying with Isis, her place is more secure." Hawke resumed packing and Jin stood there for a moment.

Jin was tired of being kept out of the loop, but at least now he knew a little of what was going on. Another thought crossed his mind and before he thought about it he asked, "But are we moving in with her because of this or because of the Darrion guy?"

Hawke smiled, Jin was nothing if not perceptive, and even though there were things Jin did not know about him, he was the closet person to him next to Isis. "I would be lying if I said it wasn't. I don't trust him or his intentions with Isis, especially because he is B26."

"But even if he wasn't..." Jin started.

Hawke gave him a firm look. "We will not discuss that. Pack, we need to be out of here by daybreak."
