The Mark (Forest's POV)
"She still asleep?" Dr. Fenton asked.
"Yeah, she is a very hard sleeper." I replied.
We were in a different med room. Since she burned the other one.
"Next time, tell Mist to go easy on her. She could have killed her." He warned.
"Well, Mist did almost destroy all her vital organs." I joked.
"What are we going to do with her once she wakes up?" I asked curiously.
"Oh, she'll join her boyfriend in the chamber. You'll be in charge of her torture." He informed.
I will? I don't want to hurt her. She has the same intentions of Mist and I. To get the hell out of here.
"Did we ever mark her?" He asked me.
"No I don't think so, sir." I replied.
Why mark her now? She be to much of a threat. The marks make us over 10 times more powerful....
"Why don't we do that now?" He replied.
He walked over to the corner of the room and pulled out a branding stick. On it was the symbol of the south. A blue X. The symbol they had stolen from another battle. He warmed it in the fire and branded each of her shoulders.
So he does it in different places for everyone, because mine's are on my ankles...
"There we go, that should do it." He chuckled.
"I almost wish she were awake, so I could see her suffer." He smirked.
"Now, according to the healing chamber she should be awake soon. I have to go, so you carry her over to the chamber, okay?" He ordered.
"Yes, sir" I replied.
He walked into the hallway humming. I waited till he left the room.
I hope Mist followed her side of the plan.
I broke Ash free using tree branches I had summoned. I picked her up and headed toward the meeting place Mist had told me to meet at. Running I sent a silent message to Mist.
Hurry up Mist, I'm counting on you.
