Kara breathed in. It was the first day of school. At Willowdale Elementary. She didn't want to go of course, but no other school in the district would take her. She had been expelled from every other because of abnormal happenings. She didn't understand these happenings of course, and she would never do anything bad. Resentment rose in her throat. She remembered her last school. Sarah was a cruel girl. She bullied Kara every day. Kara remembered the day she had snapped. Sarah had grabbed her ponytail of her long orange hair, pulled it and chanted; "Carrots! Carrots!" Kara was done. She had punched Sarah in the nose. Then some other weird things happened. Kara took a deep breath, and stepped into the school.
