NIJIKA P.O.V.

"Stupid Killua," I grumbled under my breath as my thin fingers fiercely typed on the keyboard in front of me. I shifted my weight in my seat and winced as my tailbone throbbed.

Angrily, I smacked my hand down, making the laptop beep in protest.

"Oi, oi! If you do that you'll break it!"

I turned around and stared at Leorio who was frowning.

"Those aren't cheap ya'know," the older male scolded me as he ruffled my head, making the silver strands of the wig a mess.

A small whine of protest left my mouth as I placed my head on the table, "My tailbone hurts!"

Leorio chuckled as he too sat down in front of his own computer, clicking the mouse, "I told you it's going to bruise, it'll get better cause you're icing it."

I grumbled in annoyance as the imagine of a grinning Killua popped in my mind.

That idiot.... He actually had enough guts to drop me on the ground... The next time I get my hands on him I swear...

A growl escaped my lips before my 'blue' eyes went on my computer screen. The bright light reflected off of my face, making my slightly tanned skin glow.

While Zepile, Gon and Killua decided to go out and sell the wooden chest and the jewelry, Leorio and I were snooping around for information.

As I scrolled down, my eyes caught something interesting. Without much hesitation I clicked the button.

The boredom I was feeling mere seconds ago seemed to fly away as my mouth opened slightly.

"Bingo...." I whispered taking a careful look at the pictures of a male and a female. My hands flew crossed the keyboard as I yelled out for Leorio.

"Leorio! Call Gon or Killua! I found where they are!" I yelled my voice echoing through the motel room.

The man in the suit quickly ran over, his phone in hand.

"What'd you find?"

A small smirk came across my face as I made the picture on the screen larger so Leorio could get a better look.

"I'm getting contact with the informer, their taking this through their phone right now," I explained as I started to type my respond onto the keyboard.

The male's eyes widen slightly as he immediately started to call Gon.

"Hey Gon," Leorio spoke into his phone, his eyes continued to be glued on my screen, "We found the Ryodan." I strained my ears to hear mumbled coming out of the phone.

When I realized I wouldn't be able to hear the conversation, I motioned Leorio to put it on speaker.

"Hey, Gon. It's Nijika," I spoke as I continued to keep contact with my informant.

"Hi Nijika!"

A smile came to my lips hearing my friend's energetic voice.

Though it quickly disappeared as I grew serious, "Anyways, it seems like it's true. I found files that clearly shows us the Ryodan's movement. I'm currently contacting the informer, they have a phone with an camera and sent me an image. I'm going to ask them for the exact position."

"How many?" Killua's voice sounded from the phone. His tone was rather serious, the image of him with his eye brows furrowed entered my mind.

"We have two target, a women and a man." I respond looking at the picture carefully. My eyes narrowed on the familiar pink haired female, "Watch out for the female, she has nen that could turn into strings, without Gyo you wouldn't be able to see them." I bit my lips as worry filled me.

I immediately stood up and looked at Leorio, "Let's go, we're going to go with them. "

The older male nodded as he grabbed his small brief case off of the ground.

"I'll meet you two in five," I spoke into the phone before handing it back to Leorio.

My stomach seemed to twist slightly as I swiftly started to arm myself with my collection of knives.

For a moment I stared at my recently bought knife and katana that laid on the bed. A look of determination entered my eyes before I grabbed them, hiding the knife in my long white socks while placing the katana right against my body, beneath my skirt.

I looked at myself in the mirror for a moment, making sure none of my weapon were visible. Satisfied, I quickly made sure my disguise was perfect as well before running out of the motel, Leorio quickly following me.

I lightly jogged, dodging through bodies while making sure my heals that I were wearing wouldn't break.

"Oi, can't you slow down?" Leorio whined as he ran besides me, though it seemed like he was having more difficulty dodging people.

I sent him an amused look before I jumped over a man carrying some groceries, barely dodging him.

I looked back and saw Leorio crashing into the man. A small laugh escape my lips before I was looking forward once again.

My eyes scanned the area until I found two familiar figures.

"Gon! Killua!" I called out, bringing my arms above my head.

Both males turned around and looked at me with slight surprise.

"You're here earlier than I thought," Killua spoke as he gave me a small knowing smirk, "How's your 'broken tailbone?'" He questioned, using his fingers as quotation marks.

My eyes narrowed slightly on the silver haired male. With a small snap of my fingers, I made a large stream of water shoot out of a hose a women from a flower store was holding.

The woman gasped in shock and confusion as the water she was pointing at the ground sudden shot off, hitting Killua straight in his face.

Leorio who caught up to us immediately bursted out laughing while Gon and I both held our mouths with our hands, trying to stop ourselves from laughing. My eyes watered slightly, as I watched Killua go frozen in shock, his usually wild hair limp and dripping over his eyes.

Using his fingers, Killua moved the dripping wet hair from his eyes as he glared at us.

A small chuckle escaped my lips, "Killua, you seem a bit, uh, wet. How did that happen? Is your 'ego' okay?" I mocked, using my fingers as quotation marks like he did.

That seemed like the last straw for us. Gon and I busted out laughing, clutching our stomach as tears gathered at the corner of our eyes.

The women who was holding the hose scrambled over to us, apologizing to Killua at an incredible
pace.

While Killua waved her off, Gon and I held each other up while laughing.

Wiping the tear that gathered at the corner of my eye, I tried to even my breathing though only a wheezing noise escaped my lips.

For the first time I realized that the women was gone leaving the silver haired male with a dripping wet hair and shirt.

"Why'd you do that?" Killua whined as he shook his head, making the droplet of water hit us.

Using my arm as a shield I cover my face while grinning, "You seemed like you needed to cool down some of your cockiness."

"Shut up."

My eyebrows rose as I placed a hand over my ear while leaning forwards, "Hm what? Did you say you were on your period? Hold on, I'll go find you a tampon."

Leorio who was standing beside me spluttered out a laughter as he smacked his knees. Gon seemed slightly confused while Killua looked horrified.

Though after a moment a small smile made it to the male's face. With an astonishing speed, Killua was in front of me, wrapping his arms around me.

I squeaked in discomfort as his wet cold hair landed on my face and neck. With a shake of his head, the silvernette rubbed his head against me, wetting my clothes as well.

"Ah! Killua stop it! It's cold and you're going to make my clothes wet as well!" The whine of protest left my mouth as I tried to push Killua away . Surprisingly my friend had a strong hold of me and wouldn't let go until he was satisfied.

I looked down at my dress with a large frown painted on my face. A large wet mark was left right at the collar.

My eyes twitched slightly as I pulled the wet cloth away from my skin, "Ewwwwww...."

Killua let out a triumph snort before running his hand through his hair, combing it back.

"Oi, you kids. Let's go, enough with the fun. We're already close to the area," Leorio spoke catching our attention.

The three of us quickly grew serious before relaxing our muscles, blending in the people around us.

"I researched the area a bit, there's a cafe where we can get a clear view of them," I spoke in a carefree tone, motioning them to follow me with my hand.

>>TIME SKIPS>>

I finished typing into my phone before pressing the send button, "Alright, I already sent the money into your bank, thank you for the work," I chirped as I looked out the window.

My blue eyes landed on the couple who quickly stood up from the table behind the two Ryodan.

Making sure they were able to escape safely, I turned my attention towards the three males who sat at our table.

"Now this is going to be the hard part," Leorio spoke as he took a sip out of his black coffee.

A small amount of sweat appeared on Gon'a forehead, "How are we going to capture them?"

Both Killua and I stayed silent before exchanging eye contact.

"It'll be impossible," Killua spoke as he looked at the two males in a bored manner.

I nodded my head in agreement, "We won't be able to anything if we just face them off."

"Huh?! Why can you say that without trying?" Leorio hissed as he stood up.

Killua looked slightly annoyed, "She's right Leorio, clam down or we'll be noticed. It's not like we can do anything, and just by looking at them I realized something. But it seemed like Nijika already knew about it," the male sent me a look through the corner of his eye.

I purposely ignore his look and continued to observe the two Ryodan that sat outside at a table.

"Are they that strong?" Gon questioned as a look of nervousness appeared in his eyes.

"Yep, my father told me a story three years ago, and I thought I could do something but..." Killua paused as he brought to finger up, "Imagine two Hisoka sitting at the table, understand?"

Both Gon and Leorio's eyes turned into dots as they shared a look, "We aren't a match for them..." Leorio spoke as he laughed nervously.

"Hmmmm......"

I slightly shifted my body in my seat, "Hey," I muttered catching their attention, "Why do you think those two are in broad daylight in the square?" I questioned turning my full attention to Leorio and Gon, knowing Killua already knew the answer.

"A date of course," Leorio spoke as if it was the most obvious thing.

I sweat dropped before rubbing my forehead with my hand, "No..."

Killua who sat beside me looked slightly annoyed as he gave Leorio an disappointed look, "They noticed the couple that was previously sitting behind them."

I nodded and gave Killua a smirk, "They realized that they were someone's informant. Without showing it, they kept control over everything around them, they're watching everything. If we get a bit closer I'm sure they'll notice us, and keep an eye on us."

A serious look appeared on Leorio and Gon's face as they looked at us.

"At first, I thought that attitude was normal, since the mafia was after them. But... I realized they wouldn't come to an such overpopulated area," Killua explained, "They look nothing like hunted people, for a moment I even forgot that they were a Ryodan."

I took a sip out of the soda I ordered, "Mm hm, they're waiting to be found, waiting for someone to fall into their web."

Killua chomped on the parfait, a relaxed look appearing on his face, "It's not the time to act yet, we can't do something they expect us to do. They're trying to find the attitude in this square, someone with a glance that opposes theirs. It's better for us to talk normally."

Both Killua and I sweat dropped and slumped our shoulder as we watched an forced smile appear on both Leorio and Gon's face.

"Sorry, I wasn't trying to scare you two...." Killua sighed.

My eyes went out the window once again. I noticed the two stand up and walk away from where they were sitting, "They're on the move, what are we gonna do?"

We could follow them but Leorio can't use Zetsu so it's up for the three of us. My eyes went to Gon and Killua who weren't using Zetsu yet.

"I'll say this again but, we don't have a chance of winning against them," Killua spoke through closed eyes.

Leorio and Gon shared a look.

"We have to do something, nothing ventured nothing gained," Leolio spoke as wipes sweat off his face.

Gon nodded in agreement, a look of determination in his eyes, "We won't go home like this."

Killua and I shared a look once again.

It was like we were conversing through just our eyes.

"Okay," I sighed as I rubbed my forehead.

Killua stood up as he gave Gon and Leorio a determined look, "In that case listen carefully to what we're going to tell you."

>>TIME SKIPS>>

"Nijika, Gon and I will be following them through the shadows," Killua spoke as he stuffed his hands in his pocket.

"And we'll be using Zetsu," I added, immediately activating the nen. As I did I noticed Leorio looking at us in amazement.

I laughed slightly before grabbing Killua's arm. The male looked at me in question, his feline like eyes round.

Tugging on his arm, I motioned him to lean down, "We need to give specific rules for Gon or he'll do something crazy," I whispered into his ears.

Killua stood back up, a concerned look appearing his eyes. Though he nodded, knowing I was right.

"Alright! Gon, two rules to obey. If they see us, we stop immediately. We leave without hesitation. Second if either Nijika or I think it's impossible to continue we stop."

"Wait," I loudly state, "One more rule, this applies for you two." Both boys looked at me in confusion as a grim look appeared on my face, "If something does happened to me, leave without hesitation."

"Wha?!"

"What the heck are you saying, you idiot!" Killua questioned as he looked at me angrily.

I frowned at his reaction, "I'm just saying I could take care of myself better than you two. And I have a higher chance of surviving with them than you two. Remember the Phantom Troupe are looking for me, if by any chance I am captured by them, I won't immediately get killed," I explain, "And you guys still have my crystals right?"

The two boys both pulled out a colorful stone out of their pockets, "Remember, if it heats up, I'm in some sort of danger. But as long as it's the same temperature I'll be fine," a sudden thought entered my head, "Also this is just in case, if I am captured, immediately contact Kurapika as soon as you can get away, he'll know what to do from there."

Killua and Gon both opened their mouth to argue but I cut them off, "If you don't agree to this I won't allow you two to go."

Gon looked like he seriously wanted to argue, but when Killua placed a hand on the black haired teen's shoulder, he stopped.

"Alright, one more information. The sign to stop will be one ring from the phone. Two ring are for classical call, do you guys understand?" Killua questioned as he looked at us with narrowed blue eyes.

"Yeah...."

Killua suddenly turned towards Gon, "You've never done tailing right?"

Gon looked confused for a moment as he tilted his head to the side, "Euh, during the Hunter's exam, I tailed Hisoka."

"What? Seriously? Without getting spotted?" Killua questioned in astonishment. The male gave Gon a look of disbelief.

Gon nodded his head, making his dark hair bob slightly, "Yeah, for a day or so..."

My 'blue' eyes widen in surprise as Killua smacked Gon across his head.

The black haired male whined in pain as he rubbed where he was hit, "Why'd you hit me, Killua?"

Killua just gave Gon a neutral look, "I don't know, no reason..."

I sweat dropped at their action as I adjusted my clothes slightly.

"Okay, so since Gon knows how to tail, I don't have to add anything else. I assumed you know how to tail right Nijika?" Killua questioned as his attention landed on me.

I nod my head as I brush some of my wig's hair out of my face, "Yup I used to just tail people just for the fun of it."

Killua seemed satisfied by my answer and nodded to himself, a thoughtful look appearing on his face, "Okay, now the only thing is that we need to avoid entering their field of vision." He stated as he pointed at the door, "Let's go."

>>TIME SKIPS>>

I sat in a tree branch carefully watching my two target. My body was perfectly hidden by the green leaves while it was nearly impossible to spot me because of the height I was at.

These two weren't going to be easy to tail.... If they see us we're absolutely screwed. So we can never relax...

Using the wind as an advantage I jumped into the closest tree's branch, quietly following them.

I sucked my bottom lip into my mouth, lightly chewing on it. These two... They were moving towards the area with less civilization and population.

Had they realized we were following them? Was this a trap? Or were they leading us to where they were hiding? I started to sweat out of nervousness.

If I was feeling like this, Killua must be thinking like this as well...

My fingers traced over my katana hilt, searching for the comfort of a weapon.

Should we continue and follow them, or should we give up and run? My eyes narrowed on the pink haired female and the man I recognized as the samurai who was with her the other day.

Their facial expressions were neutral as they walked side by side...

We continue.....!

Making my body low, I used the advantage of being high off the ground and hid behind the green leaves.

Gon and Killua were probably inside the abandoned building right behind where our target was standing.

From where I was I could barely see the two having a conversation at the clearing.

Feeling the vibration of my phone, I picked it up, placing the cell close to my ear.

"Have they noticed us?" Gon whispered, a hint of nervousness heard.

"It's likely that they have, though I don't think they pinpointed our location," Killua replied in a hushed out tone.

I nodded my head at myself in agreement, Killua was most likely right.

They probably already noticed us, but since we were using Zetsu, they couldn't tell where we were hiding.

"Be alert," I whispered, an uneasy feeling filling my stomach.

I stiffened as a light chime echoed. My eyes snapped to where the couple were standing. The male had a phone to his ear.

"Be careful...." I whispered before ending the call.

My eyes narrowed before they widen in shock and fear.

I froze where I sat as the man looked up, staring into the abandoned building.

They realized...! My mouth opened as I watched both the ryodan disappear from where they were standing.

My eye immediately darted around trying to find where they went.

I quickly found the samurai who was climbing into a window of the abandoned building.

This was bad...

So a late update, but I'm super excited about he next chapter cause shit is going to go down!!!

I just love the Hisoka reference used in the manga and anime and tried to look for a video but couldn't find it.... 😢😭
