3 (Rebirth part 2)

Darkness....

Darkness was all that Lana Loud woke up. A void of nothing.

Lana: W-where... where am I?!

She looked around but yet, nothing was found. Nothing but the darkness that uneases her. She tried to remember what had happened, why she was even here but nothing came to her mind. All she could think of was to try and think of a way to get out of this nightmare.

Though, it seemed that the only thing of interest in this place was her of all things.

Lana: *Sigh... Guess I should wait for something. No harm in that right? Just wish there was something to keep me occupi-GAH!!!!!!

A sharp pain hit Lana's head like an awful migraine. Memories rushed to her head as she remembered everything that had happened.

The trip to the forest, going over the chain fence and falling into the large hole.

Every single detail she remembered.

Lana wasn't asleep or dreaming.

She was dead.

Lana: N-No!! This... this can't be happening! I... I can't be dead! I.. I'm sure I'm ok! The others are too! It's just a bad-

Lana blacked out once more. Soon she opened her eyes to see she had woken up on a flat grassy plain with nothing in sight.

It was endless along with the pitch black sky. Even though the moon or Sun was nowhere in sight, the area was surprisingly lit with no hint of darkness.

This was getting weirder and weirder for Lana who started to walk in a random direction, hoping she would find someone that could give her some help of any kind, even if this place lacked any life from what Lana could concur. But, she trudged on through with determination!

- A few hours later -

Lana: Huff... ugh.. how much longer.. will I have to keep.. walking?

The chubby Loud fell to the ground exhausted. Was she doomed to be stuck in this endless, flat purgatory? Would she even be able to see her siblings once again?

Lana: No.. It.. be...

Lana slowly got back up again, her legs wobbled as they were sore to the bone. But she needed to keep going. She had to!

She continued her walk only to plant face first in a sudden rock. Lana backed away in confusion to see it wasn't a rock she bumped in to. No, it was a pedestal with a human sized statue! Lana looked in awe at the sudden appearance of the work of art, taking in every detail of the statue on top.

Lana: It's.. me? Wait, what the heck is some stone statue of me being doing out here?

???: Reasons you wouldn't understand..

Lana: Huh?! What.. who's there?!

The raspy voice chuckled, letting Lana trace the sound back to the statue which was laughing like it made a joke.

Lana: GAH!!!! WHAT ARE YOU?!

???: You still haven't recognized me, Lana Loud? I'm you!

The statue jumped high into the air, changing and morphing until it landed back on the ground with a new look.

Lana: W-what the..

She looked like a 17 year old girl. Sporting a slightly chubby figure with more weight in the legs.  Long dirty blonde pigtails reached to her ankles with a red cap with little shiny planet pins. A black and blue shirt with some dirt stains and fancy jeweled armbands with some dirty blue jeans.

Lana: Who are you?! Where am I?!

???: Alright alright. I can answer any questions you might have. Just calm down alright?

Lana nodded and took a few deep breaths until she felt calm enough to speak coherent sentences.

Lana: A-alright.. I'm calm now. Now talk to me. What's going on?

???: Well you better sit down cause this sure is a doozy.

A chair made out if stone suddenly came out of the ground beneath Lana, making her sit down. The stranger sat down on another rock chair and explained everything.

???: So here's the gist of it. You and your three other siblings have been chosen by four great spirits to be reborn onto the earth with each of you getting powers of Fire, Earth, Water, and Lightning. If you couldn't tell by my look, you've been gifts  the powers of the earth!

Lana: I.. I have? And my siblings have these powers? W-wow.. this is.. exciting! But just one thing, why me? I don't exactly look like the type of person that would be a hero of any kind. Especially one that's given a task to protect the earth..

???: Wha?! That's baloney! You're perfect to protect the earth! You love animals and nature more than any human we know! Besides, you're shaped like the earth so you're a perfect fit!

Lana blushed at that remark and looked down.

Lana: T-thanks... I guess.. But how will I get back to earth?

???: You'll just have to wait and see.

Lana suddenly felt weird. She looked at her body and saw she was crumbling into dirt.

Lana: GAH!!! WHAT'S GOING ON?!

???: You're being reborn! Being put back through nature the natural way!

Lana: The... natural way?! Is someone giving birth to me?!

???: What?! No! Let's just say you'll find out soon alright??

Lana didn't even get a chance to speak before she crumbled into dirt..

- Somewhere in Royal Woods -

In a vast grassy plains just outside of town, a small girl was walking down a path to a nice little patch of flowers that she had planted.

This girl was Lola Loud. She had on a pitch black sweater and pants with her hair done in a neat fashionable bun. She looked distraught and horrible however. The sudden disappearance of four if her siblings had taken a hefty toll on her as she spent most of the day out in this field planting flowers as a tribute to her lost sibling.

In her hand was a fresh cherry seed that Lola held close to her.

Lola: *sigh.. This would've been Lana's final seed to plant for her dream garden. But she wasn't here to make that dream come true..

She walked along a dirt path she had made. In fact, she had dug out a path around this field in a specific pattern.

Two circles inside one large circle with four mini paths on the inside of each circle to connect them.

Lola looked at the small flowers, sprouts, and soon to be trees that had started to grow. Lola picked this spot because Lana said this area has the best soil in all of Michigan and Lola didn't complain.

Once she got to the center of the garden,  she took out the cherry seed and held in front of her.

Lola: I know you and I almost never got along and all but.. ever since mom and dad split up and life got miserable, you were their to keep me happy.. And I just want to tell you that.. thank you..

She bent down and planted the seed into the ground and gave it some water. After she had a moment of silence, she turned around and headed off.

Suddenly, the ground shook a little which caught Lola by suprise. She didn't think there would be an earthquake today.

She turned around to look at where she planted the cherry seed to see if it was ok. She cautiously walked up the it just to check on it.

Lola: Hmm.. Nothing seems.. off..

*BAM!!!

A hand made out of dirt reached out of the ground, causing Lola to jump back in fear with another dirt hand coming out.

Lola: GAH!!! What the heck is that?!

Lola watched in terror as a humanoid thing made out of dirt and rocks climbed out the ground. In its right palm was the cherry seed Lola planted which it absorbed into its body.

The figure stood up fully and it's look turned from an earthly mess to Lana.

Lana: I.. I'm back? I'm back!!! Yes!!! Woo hoo!!! I'm alive!! Wait where am I? Oh wow, this is a really cool garden!

Lola: L-lana?

Lana turned her head at the tear filled Lola. Lana teared up as well and dashed at Lola to embrace her tightly.

Lana: I've missed you so much!!!

Lola: I thought.. y-you were dead... we all did..

Lana: Hey.. at least in back alright?

Lola: *sniff.. yeah.. Hey, let's head back home before.. Dad gets back..

Lana: That's a good idea.. And when we get back, I'll explain the whole me coming out of the ground thing.

Lola: Yeah.. that'll be a... good idea.

Lana smiled at her sister and picked her up to give her a back ride. Lola shrugged and went with it.

Lola: Hey Lana, Lynn came back a few hours ago and now you're here. Where's Lincoln and Luna?

Lana: I dunno. But I have a feeling we might see them pretty soon.
