I blinked as I followed Aaralyn and Justin outside."What's up?",I asked.They shushed me before pointing to someone in front of the school.She looked about either 11 or 12. She had blond hair that fell past her shoulders, green eyes, and a flower in her hair. She also were a pale green shirt and light green shorts."Is she a student here?",I asked.Aaralyn shrugged and we opened the door for the girl.She smiled sweetly at us and I automatically returned."Greetings unknown girl",Justin greeted. "Um hello,I appear to be lost,could you point me to the one called Wu?",the girl asked."My name is Riley and it is very important that I see him." "Of course,I'll lead the way",Justin said before I pushed him. "No need nature boy,I can lead the way",I told him,though why I did that,I had no idea.Aaralyn gave me a look and I shrugged before leading everyone to Sensei Wu's office.
Aaralyn's POV
As Justin and Echo walked further I stopped and grabbed Riley's arm."Quick question,what are you doing to my brother and friend?",I asked accusingly.She gave me a smile and I watched as her eyes glowed before returning to their regular shade."I don't know what you're talking about",she replied before walking off.So she has hypnosis like Ren in the third war the ninja participated in.I caught up to everyone else and Riley began talking to Sensei Wu.I turned to Justin and Echo who still seemed to be in a trance.I snapped my fingers in front of my brother's face and he blinked as he looked at me."What do you need Aaralyn?",He asked."I need you to snap out of it Riley's hypnotizing you",I replied.Thats when he glared at me."You only just met her you can't claim things about her." Yeah Riley's definitely messing with their brains."Ugh,forget I said anything",I told him.Soon Riley was done talking to Wu and smiled as she stepped out of his room."Alright now you can leave",I told her."Actually I don't have a place to stay",Riley said, faking tears.Echo smiled cluelessly at her."You can stay with us in the Destiny's Bounty",He told her.I gasped as Riley smiled and embraced Echo."Really?",She asked excitedly."Thank you." She then kissed my brother's cheek as she turned to leave.As she followed Justin to the Destiny's Bounty I turned to my brother."Are you insane,she can't stay here",I told him.He ignored me and followed Justin and Riley.I sighed and followed after them.I'd find out what she was doing one way or another.
Riley's POV
Wow,boys are so easy to manipulate with a little hypnosis.I smiled as the two idiots walked me to their ship.Unfortunately the stupid boy's sister had also followed us.If only my hypnosis worked on her as well.Echo and Justin led me through the Destiny's Bounty and I smiled as I saw a child with black hair,purple eyes,and wearing a gray shirt.The boy looked at me and his eyes glowed."You control the element of grass?",He asked."That's the one element I didn't know I had when I had all of them." He then smiled and pointed to himself."Yo soy Martel, la sombra ninja.¿Y tu?" "You can call me Riley",I replied.This is the one Master M.A.D told me about.I was to kill this one as quickly as possible."Riley?",Martel asked."Sounds familiar.I lost my time powers so I can't determine where I heard your name but I think I know you from somewhere." I smiled before snapping my fingers.Grass began to appear on the floor and held Echo,his sister,and Justin by their ankles.Martel smiled before summoning a bo staff in his hand.A gray ninja gi also appeared around him and a girl with green eyes and blond hair appeared.She held a bo and arrow and aimed at me."Make your move child.I'll be sure to make it your last." 'Well this didn't go as planned, Angie what should I do?',I thought, speaking to my grass bird.She appeared before me and surrounded herself around me.'I shall take control.'
Martel's POV
"Oh that's cool,Shira,she has a bird like me",I said,pointing to Riley.Shira sighed before turning to me."I know that Mas-Martel.Now let's focus on-oof." She was interrupted by a flurry of grass blade pinning her to the wall.I turned to Riley before entering my violent state."You just made a massive mistake Riley",I told her, forming a purple ball of energy in my hand."I am not Riley",She said as wings of grass appeared out of her back.Gosh darn it.I shot the shadow ball at her before running past her to free Echo and Aaralyn.Aaralyn pulled out her daggers but I put a hand in front of her."Go get the others and my girlfriend.Where's Justin?",I asked.I was then hit by a staff.I groaned before turning to see that Justin had red eyes.Oh Christ.I dodged another of his attacks as Aaralyn ran.Echo pulled out his sword and chased after her.Riley,er not Riley,escaped the paralysis of the shadow ball and fired blades of grass at me.I created a shadow shield and blocked before using an energy arm to grab Justin."Sorry kiddo,this is gonna hurt a lot",I told him.I then threw him against a wall.He became unconscious and I smiled before turning to Riley.Shira finally got free and shot an arrow at Riley.A wall of grass protected the girl and separated me from my elfin servant.Alright,one on one then.I spun my bo staff and ran to Riley.She flew around me and grass soldiers appeared.I created shadow ninja to attack them and formed shadow shurikens in my hand.I threw them at Riley and fired purple fireballs at her.She dodged all of them before yelping as an arrow struck her shoulder.Shira growled and fired another arrow.Riley used her wings to protect herself while I attacked with my bo staff.I summoned two shadow ninja and made them attack Riley while I summoned Raven.'You're being attacked?',Raven asked.I nodded and he flew inside of me.I let him take control.
Aaralyn's POV
I blasted my brother away with sound before running to Rose and the others. "Guys come quick, the new girl's attacking us and has hypnotized my brother and Justin!", I shouted frantically. Rose immediately summoned her ninja gi on her body while the other kids followed me to where Martel was being attacked. A wall of grass blocked our way but we easily cut through it before being met with our weapons. Echo blocked our way and I spun my blades. Bernardo has other plans however. He bumped his fists together before turning into metal and charging Echo. My brother sidestepped him and spun around, swinging his blade upward and causing a thin line to appear across Bernardo's metallic back. "I'll keep him here, been wanting to fight him. You go rescue shadow boy." I nodded and led our group to Martel, well at least I tried to lead. The three kid dragon ninja simply went ahead of me since they were much faster than I.
Raven's POV
I held Riley by her throat with shadow tentacles and noticed my comrades returning out of the corner of my eye. The girl's bird had left her body and disappeared and I had taken the chance to incapacitate the grass elemental. Kai placed his sword back in its sheath before walking over to me, Kyle by his side. "Raven, is this the enemy?",Kyle asked. I almost asked the former man now child to answer that for himself before remembering the fact that his powers had been weakened and he now had the mind of a child. "Indeed, what shall we do with her?",I questioned. I could feel my strength waning and knew soon I wouldn't be able to hold on to the girl for long. "Well she's a bad guy now, we'll place her in the bad guy place",Marquel answered and opened a rather small portal. "Stupid kid powers." I placed Riley inside the portal and watched as it closed before leaving Martel's body.
Echo's POV
I blinked and shook my head as my vision cleared. I was currently holding a sword against Bernardo's neck and standing over him, uh oh. Bernardo let out a huff before looking into my eyes and grabbing me by my shirt as he stood up. "Oh good you're back to normal, let's go get back to the others. Don't worry, afterward you and me are gonna have fun." The way he said fun scared me a little and I squirmed as he basically carried me back to the others. "Put me down",I demanded though he still didn't see me as a leader and didn't listen. I guess that's fair as I technically wasn't nominated as leader anyway. "We stopped Riley who's now in the cell room, we'll question her later as soon as Martel wakes up",Rose told me, carrying the sleeping boy in her arms. I noticed Justin was also being carried, this time by Shira and went to ask what happened before Aaralyn walked over to Bernardo and I. The metal kid finally let me down and Aaralyn glared at me. "I told you not to trust her but nooo you just love not listening to me!",Aaralyn shouted. "You never listen to me and bad things keep happening to you! Next time I warn you about something take that warning to heart!" "A-Alright",I stuttered, genuinely afraid of my sister at that moment. "But what happened?" Aaralyn sighed before explaining everything as everyone began to leave, now heading to the others. "We need to tell Sensei Wu what happened",Kyle stated as I followed him.
