My first vision had little importance. Although, it was a big milestone in my life. My veins buzzed, and I had trouble focusing on the world around me. At the time, I had no idea what was going on. Then, a picture of me holding a test with the letter A written in red at the top. Later that day, I got an A on my math test. I didn't tell anyone about my visions.

"Hey," I said to Dara as I walked to school.
"Hey, Ember, do have your science notes?" she asked.
"Yeah, in my locker."
"Sweet! Can I study them during lunch?"
"Sure," I replied. It might seem wrong to let Dara cheat and study my notes, but her parents will freak if she gets a bad score on her test, and I can't hang out with her if she's grounded. Anyways, that's what friends are for, right?

Then, my veins started to buzz I had trouble focusing. I knew a vision was coming.

I saw Dara, getting a C on her test. When I finally went back into reality, I looked at Dara.
"Uh, Dara?"
"Yeah?"
"Just... Study good, okay?"
"Totally, you're awesome at science," she replied.

But I knew there was no way to change visions. So much for this weekend.
