Calling Dara

The next day was no better. The shopping day was the day I was in complete shock. Now I am in the stage of What Now? I need to tell someone, but can't. I need to do something, but can't.

My sister was watching the news in the living room. It was about the boy and the girl. Ugh.
"Mom, what if I told you I knew something about the disappearances because I can see the future?" I asked.
"Well, if you told me that I would think your crazy. Why?" she replied.
"Uh, I just wanted to see how much you trust me," I said.
"Well, of course I trust you, honey, but who would believe that?"
"Yeah, I know," I said and went to my room.

Suddenly, my phone started to ring. It was Dara. I was about to answer when my veins started to buzz...

Dara was on the phone talking when the men burst in. They pointed the gun at her, and she screamed. Her scream was abruptly cut off by the bullet( or whatever the ammo was) entering her skin.

She crumpled on the floor as if she had no spine.
"Take them to the car, quick," one of the men said.
"Yes, sir," the other one said...

One missed call: Dara

Forget the future. I have to stop this. I quickly called Dara back.

"Hey girl," she said.
"Hey. Dara, you need to listen, ok? I have something important to say-" I was cut off by her scream. I was too late.
"Dara! Dara answer me! Can you hear me?" I scream. Her scream ends.
"Take them to the car, quick."
"Yes, sir."
"And get rid of that phone."

"Noo! Dara! DARA! Dar-" Beep.
