Elemental City

A/N: I personally would be a Water Elemental, too...I'm just so damn emotional! In your opinion, what elemental would you be? Also, I thought the story, I'll always come in to check if it needs editing, so yeah! Sorry if it's bad, I tried! ^^

Normal POV

Water crashing, waves swaying as a bright light could be seen through the fog. A small boat could be seen floating on the open seas as two fire elements seem worried about where their headed.

The two seem hopeless, but it comes back slowly as they both look up to see a hot pink air balloon floating towards a beautiful city. Other types of air transportation could be seen heading in the same direction as well.

The two fire elements look in amazement at the sight, as other forms of transportation could also be seen either leaving or coming towards the big city. The female fire element gets up from her seat as she walks over to her husband, placing her hand on his arm. The two smile at the sight once more as the boat pulls up to the dock.

The boat stops as the two fire elements walk down the platform onto the docks, the male fire element holding the luggage. His wife is holding a blue flame in a sort of lantern, standing behind him.

The two watch to see another boat stop across from them. They see trees, earth elements, and exit from the boat with big smiles on their face.

"Please keep all limbs and branches inside," an announcer states as the Earth Elements all start to exit.

The two fire elements still watch in amazement but confused. Another boat appears, except a submarine. It emerged from the sea as it poured out water and hats. The water forms to show different water elements. They grab their luggage and start to walk in the same direction as everyone else.

"Oh, I believe this is yours!" One water elemental says, handing the luggage they picked up to the other water element, "Oh, thanks!" The other water element smiled in gratitude.

Above the docks was an air dock where a blimp stopped and unloaded some air elements. An air element baby could be heard crying as the blimp deflates going down to pick up more air elements as it fills up with air.

The two fire elements enter a beautiful building as they look around as the signs and sounds of the building, "Please have your documents ready for inspection..." A voice said.

The two fire elements got into a line and waited for their turn. On the walls, different artworks could be seen. Water came first, then Earth and finally Air. All seemed welcoming.

"Next!" A voice yelled out as both fire element smiled and rushed up to the Earth element in front of them, "Your names?" He asked kindly with a big smile.

The male fire element spoke his native tongue, Firish, which only the other fire element there, his wife, could understand. His wife tries to speak to the Earth element as well, but he couldn't understand either of them.

He still kept his smile and tried to at least get something, "Great..and how do we spell that?" He took out stamp ink and a paper to write their names down on.

Only roaring and hissing came out of the male fire elements mouth. As the Earth Element tried to find something that would make sense.

"How about we go with..." The Earth Elemental tried to think, "...Bernie and Cinder?" He smiled, rubbing his nose on stamp ink as he stamped his nose on the paper.

He held the paper in his hands, "Welcome to Element City!" He smiled and handed them the paper.

The two walked to doors saying 'Element City' on it as they pushed it open. The doors open to show the beautiful and vast place of Elements City.

The two start to walk around the city as different elements, except for fire elements, could be seen walking around. The two take in the sights and sounds of the new place as they see the works of their new home.

As they walked, an air element bumped into Burnie and dismembered for a moment, "Hey, watch it, Sparky!" He seemed annoyed as both Burnie and Cinder seemed confused.

A water train passed by as it poured water off the sides, much to the twos horror. On the train, the two got stares from all the other elements on board. As the train jerked, a water element nearby spilled a bit of water on Cinder. Bernie quickly checked on his wife, opening one of his luggage boxes as he broke a stick in half and gave it to his wife. She regenerated her fire as Burnie petted his wife's stomach, glaring fire daggers at the water element as Cinder looked up with pure fear.

"Water..." Burnie muttered under his breath in pure hatred.

Once the two got off the train, they walked to a house for sale and opened the door. As the door opened, the Earth Element looked at them with pure shock and fear. The two smiled at the Earth Element, hoping they'll be able to get a home.

"Oh. Sorry!!" He pointed to his leaves, "Dry leaves!" He shut the door.

The next house, Cinder burnt the doorbell by mistake. She tried to blow it out. Once she did, the door opened to reveal a smiling water element. Once he saw the two, his face turned repulsed and slammed the door shut.

After that, more doors started to slam shut in their face. As the two walked to a bench, they were dejected and starting to lose hope. Cinder sat down at the bench as Burnie took a deep breath before glancing up at something that made him smile. Cinder looked in the same direction as her husband did, seeing the rundown tall building. It was on the abandoned side of the Earth Elemental town.

Bernie gasped and started to make his way towards the shop as Cinder noticed the water around the area. The doors opened as he started to speak firish to his wife. The ideas he had for the store were amazing, this was their home. This could be theirs. A shop for fire elements. He gestured to where things could be.

Water droplets pour down as Cinder moves to the side, not to sure. Burnie walked to his wife, still sharing the idea with her. He laughed and seemed more than excited to start. As he was, the floor board dropped below him as Cinder tried to check on her husband.

"IM OKAY!" He raised his thumb up as Cinder took a sigh of relief.

A couple of months later, a baby boy was born, and the cries filled the night. Cinder told her husband something in Firish. As he responded. He took a bit of the blue flame and placed it on the baby's forehead as the baby laughed. The baby reached his small arms out towards Burnie. Burnie smiled at his son in full love and happiness. He loved to see his baby boy sneeze and smile at him.

Burnie picked up the baby in his hands, "Welcome, my Flame to your new life!" He raised Flame up in his arms and smiled.

A few years pass, and Flame is a small toddler. He wore something similar to what Ember wore in the movie design wise but as a shirt and pants. Burnie held the Lantern with the blue flame in it as he walked to a cauldron. Flame rushed over as well to his father.

"Our Blue Flame hold all our traditions..." He held the Lantern over his head and bowed his head, ".. and give us strength to burn bright..." Burnie placed a bit of the Blue Flame into the cauldron as it slowly burned brightly.

The Blue Flame glowed brightly and grew big, making Flame fly back a bit. Burnie laughed at this event as Flame smiled with happiness.

Burnie turned towards his son and smiled, "Do I burn as bright?" He questioned to his son as he burned brightly and showed his muscles in different poses, Flame laughed in agreement.

Later that night, Flame helped his father push the cauldron containing the Blue Flame. In all honesty, he didn't really help. He stood on the rim of the cauldron and called out to push, "One, two, one, two, one, two!" Flame called out to his father.

As the store started to grow, Flame and Burnie could be seen opening their mouths in front of the fan, laughing at each other. Later on, they made, created, the new sign of the newest shop for Fire Elements. THE FIREPLACE. Burnie climbs down a latter as he walks towards his son.

"This shop is dream of our family.." Burnie smiled, "Someday it'll all be yours.." He smiled at Flame.

When THE FIREPLACE finally opened, a Fire Element walked into the shop. Welcomed by Burnie and Cinder.

"Everything here authentic!" Burnie smiled to the customer.

The customer smiled, "Then I've got to try the kol-nuts!" They walked up to the counter.

"Kol-nuts, coming up!" Burnie said, "Kol-nuts, coming up!" Flame repeated after his father.

The two laughed as Burnie praised his son, the two burned some logs and started to drop them in a metal bowl. Flame took the bowl in his hands and handed it to the customer.

"Someday this shop will all be mine!" Flame smiled at the customer.

The two laughed again, "When you are ready!" Burnie smiled and patted his sons head.

Years passed as Burnie could be seen making deliveries with his son. They both made deliveries together. At the shop, two kids walked up to the counter.

"Two sugar pops please!" The kid said, dropping some money on the counter.

An slightly older Flame smiled, "I got it, Ashfa!" He smiled and started to heat up the glass, blowing into it, making it look like the kid.

The kid smiled happily as the sibling took a big bite, making the other angry. Suddenly, two water elements entered the store and started to mess around. This of course didn't go undetected by Burnie.

"Water..." He muttered under his breath, turning to Flame, "Keep an eye on them..." He grumbled annoyed.

The two water elements start to use water on most of the fire items as Flame appears in front of the two, "You splash it, you buy it!" He grew into a bigger flame to try and scare the two as they started to bubble up.

The two ran out super scared as Burnie smiled, Flame still acting intimidating, "You showed them, huh?" Burnie smiled at his son, "Nobody waters down Fire!" He yelled towards the direction the two Water elements ran in.

"YEAH!" Flame started as he said the rest in Firish as his father laughed, "Can the shop be mine now?" Flame smiled.

"When you are ready!" Burnie messed with Flame's hair as Flame smiled.

Back inside, the TV showed a Sopa Drama.

'The truth is...'

"She's not in love with him.." Cinder bluntly states, as she folds some clothes.

'I'm not in love with him!' The actress finished, much to everyone's surprise and gasps.

Cinder nodded, "Knew it!"

At the counter, years later, Burnie could be seen struggling with burning logs as Flame could be seen doing it with ease. Flame smiled and looked towards the door with a huge smile on his face.

"Ashfa, customer!" Flame smiled happily as Burnie looked towards the door.

Burnie smiled and then glanced at his son, "How about...you take it today?" He smiled as Flame looked up from the tray of Klu-nuts with a huger smiled on his face.

"For real?" Flame said excitingly as Burnie gestured to the counter. Flame dusted off his apron as he took a deep breath, seeing Burnie give him a thumbs up.

Flame spoke firish, "How can I help you?" He smiled nervously.

The customer put a container of items on the counter, "All of this and the.." The customer glanced towards sparklers, "Oh! The sparklers are buy one, get one free?" The customer pointed to the box.

"That's right!" Flame smiled as he started to check the items out.

The customer smiled, "Oh great, I'll just take the free one!" He took one of the sparklers and lit them with his flame.

A forced smile appeared on Flame's face, "Oh, no, see.." He just his fingers to extinguish the sparkler as he chuckled nervously, "You need to buy one to get one free.." Flame smiled at the customer.

"But I just want the free one!" The customer said as they grabbed another one and lit it.

Flame took it from the customers hands, "Sorry, that's not how this works!" He blew it out.

The customer started to get annoyed, "But the customer is always right!" He seemed annoyed.

"Not in this case.." Flame forced a smile, trying not to burst.

The customer grabbed another one lighting it, "Nope!" Flame blew it out. This happened a couple more times as Flame started to turn from an orange-ish red to a purple-ish red.

"Just give me the free one?!" The customer yelled in desperation.

"THATS NOT HOW THIS WORKS!" Flame grew into a purple flame in pure anger as the light shined brightly.

When everything calmed down, Flame took a moment and heard the slight gasps and clatter, seeing some items on fire and people staring.

Burnie ran over, "Oh!" He smiled nervously, lighting the sparklers and placed them on the burned items, "Happy Birthday!" He did little jazz hands and pulled his son away from the counter.

Flame started to take off his apron, "What just happened? Why lose temper?" Burnie questions confused.

"I don't know...he was pushing and pushing, and it just.." Flame sighed worried.

"Calm, Calm...sometimes customer can be tough.." Burnie smiled, "..just take breath.." He deeply breathed in then out, "..and make connection" Burnie reassured his son placing the apron on his son, "When you can do that and not lose temper, then you will be ready to take over shop!" Burnie smiled.

Flame gave his father a nod with a happy and calming smile. It wouldn't take him that long, right? He could make a connection, right?

Several years later...

Flame's POV

I was trying to keep my cool in front of a customer, "This is too expensive, and that is not made in Fire Land!" The women continued being annoying.

All I had to do was take a deep breath and somehow...make a connection with this lady. I tried to breath, all I had to do was make a connection. Yeah, can you guess how many times I had to tell myself that before I exploded? I could hear everyone gasp as I exploded with firey rage. The counter glass exploded along with me. What was I supposed to do? It isn't my fault that she was being way too annoying about something that wasn't even in my control!

Once I saw the scared women's expression, I immediately seemed to calm down in pure nervousness.

I chuckled nervously, trying to remove the fire from around me, "Sorry..Sorry..Sorry about that!" I waved the fire from the box of Klu-nuts and saw tye flower in the ladies hat burn, "Sorry! Sorry!" I seemed nervous.

Two everyday customers seemed to be watching the two ideal since they had the same old 'fire chart' back. They just love seeing what color I'll be each day.

"He almost went full purple!" The female announced as Ashfa walked over, "I've never seen anyone go full purple!" She seemed amazed by it.

In my opinion, they should mind their own business but since their everyday customers, I won't say a word. I try to say sorry one last time, I do seriously feel horrible as Ashfa pushed me behind him. He tried to apologize for me as all I could do was have a forced smile on my face.

"Sorry about my son, he burn bright but sometimes too bright, eh?" My father seemed to also force a smile as he blew out the fire flower, "Nice hat, by the way" He chuckled nervously.

He offered to make the lady a new batch, on the house. Happily she didn't say anything back. I don't think I would have been able to keep myself composed long enough for that again. I turned to Ashfa, ready to apologize for the mess I made.

"Sorry Ashfa!" I jumped across the counter, as I gathered the glass on the floor, "I don't know why that one got away from me.." I sighed and put the glass in my mouth, chewing on it.

Ashfa looked at me, "Oh, you are tense because of big Red Dot Sale tomorrow.." He was right, I was slightly nervous for that.

The Red Dot Sale was our most busiest day of the year. It was also the day most of our biggest success comes in, how could I not be worried.

I blew up and fixed the glass window like a champ, "It has us all in a broil.." Ashfa finished.

"I guess.." I said, trying to finish up the window for the counter, "It's just that some of these customers, they get me all.." I slowly lose my temper again, having to restart on fixing the counter glass.

"I know, I know...Just do what we practiced" Ashfa reassured me, "Your so good at everything else!" He smiled.

He was right...I was good at everything else I did. If only I could control my temper!

"All right, I get it...I just want you to rest.." I smiled sadly, Ashfa was getting old I could tell, I finally fixed the counter window as I smiled happily.

I noticed Ashfa having a hard time with making some Klu-nuts as I rushed over, "Are you okay?" I asked concerned.

"Just tired.." Ashfa responded.

It worried me more that Ashfa is getting older, and once he retires, I'll have to take over. I'm happy I get to take over but...I just want Ashfa to be okay. I offer to help him with the Klu-nuts as I heard our two regulars joke with Ashfa. They think this is funny? I know deep down they want him to be fine, just like me but...it annoys me still. My head picks up when I hear them asking Ashfa about retirement and maybe me taking over! A big smile appears on my face waiting for the answer.

"Ahhh...He take over when he's ready.." Ashfa answered, much to my annoyance.

I force a smile, looking at them, "And speaking of ready...we are more than ready for you to actually buy something...if you'd ever get up from your lazy ash..." I smirked in victory as everyone laughed.

I go back to working until I hear a challenge pass me, never do quicker deliveries than Ashfa..Ha, "You don't think that I can beat your record?" I smirked, grabbing a timer, "Because I have been taking it easy on you, so I don't hurt..." I turned the timer as it clicked, "..your feelings, Mr. Smokestack..." I hear the two laugh as I grabbed my bag, "But game on!" I smirked and jumped over the counter.

I put some things in a container, passing my Mother's matchmaking area of the shop. I opened the beads to the area as I looked around for something.

"Flame, I'm doing a reader!?" My mother sounded annoyed.

I smiled nervously, "Sorry, got to grab some stuff...going for Ashfa's record!" I grab some stuff.

My Mother match another couple as she insults my love life once again. It's not my fault I haven't found a girl that...sparkes...my interest.

"Oh, goody, this old chestnut.." I sigh as I tried to walk out, my mom grabs my hand and sniffs it.

"Yep! Nothing.." She pats my hand, "Just a loveless, sad future of sadness.." She finished off, being way to dramatic in my opinion.

As I tried to leave my Mom followed, "Flame, work with me...Your finding match was my Mother's dying wish..." She seemed desperate.

Her Mother's dying wish was that I married another fire. But I didn't like nor love any fire or any other element. Not my fault, "Nice try, Mom...Got to go!" I quickly rush out of there.

I exit the shop holding the items I need to deliver as I make my way tk my motorcycle. And of course, I see the annoyance of my life.

"Yo, yo, yo, Flame!" A kid Earth element pops out of a pot in front of our store.

"Yo, Clod...Can't talk, in a hurry..." I sighed, "And don't let Ashfa catch you out here again.." I walk closer to my motorcycle.

Clod catches up sadly, "What? Come on, he doesn't like my landscaping?" Clod questioned, brushing his grassy hair, I groan, "Anyway, June Bloom is coming and you just got to be my date 'cause check it out!" He smirked.

He showed me his armpit, this kid is just so weird...and I wouldn't date a minor and no offense but I'm straight but I still try to support the little dude, a flower popped out of his armpit.

"I'm all grown up..." He sniffs his flowery armpit, "And I smell good..." He smirked as he plucked the flower from his armpit, he grunted a bit in pain as he got on one knee holding the flower up to me, "My King.." He whimpered.

Oh Geez...what the ash do you say to that?..Uhhh...this is to akward for me to handle and plus I'm busy! I don't have time for this. I take the flower in my hand as it burns up, "Sorry buddy. Elements don't mix.." I gasp as I looked towards the timer in the shop.

But in all honesty, even if Clod was a fire element, I still wouldn't be with a literal child.

"Gotta go!" I started to pack the stuff on my motorcycle, much to Clod's disappointment.

He sighed, "Come on, go to the festival with me!" He smiled with hope, "you never leave this part of town!" He was right, but I have reason too.

"That's because everything I need is right here..." I smile.

The train came as I pulled out my umbrella to cover myself from the water pouring out. Damn Water.

"Plus the fire isn't made with Fire people in mind..." I get on my motorcycle, "Sorry, but it'd take an act of God to get me across that bridge.." I put on some goggles.

"An act of God or an act of Clod?" He said with a flirty tone making me cringe.

I drive off immediately. As I started to make the deliveries I had too. I make all the stops I have to beat Ashfa's record. I wanted to beat this with my life. As I made it back to the shop, I opened the door with a huge smiled.

"Ahah! Winner winner, charcoal dinner!" I smirked, pushing up my goggles, I saw Ashfa asleep as I stopped the door from falling closing.

I closed the door gently and walked over to Ashfa with a calm smile. He was getting ready for tomorrow. I took a blanket and slowly covered him. He coughed a woke up.

"Rest up..I'll close up shop.." I smiled.

"Still have much to prepare for Red Dot Sale.." Ashfa stated as I patted his back.

I smiled sadly, "Ashfa, I'll take care of it, you need to rest..." I walked with him.

The timer rang, I beat his record, "How?" Ashfa asked.

I smiled, "I learned from the best.." I kept walking with him.

I slowly tuned him out as I thought about Ashfa. This was my father. He's getting older...he can't do this forever. I come back to reality from my sad thoughts to hear about the Red Dot Sale, me...running the shop. My gut drops, I suddenly feel a rush of anxiety. Could I...do this..? I push on a smile.

"Seriously? By myself?" I smiled happily.

"If you can do that without losing your temper, it will show me you are able to take over.." He broke a stick in half and handed one over to me.

I smiled determined and with full honor, "You got it, Ashfa" I smiled and watched him throw his stick into the Blue Flame, "I won't let you down, I swear...You'll see!" I smiled.

I hugged Ashfa tight, "Good Son.." He started to head up the stairs.

Once I saw him gone, I quietly fanboyed to myself, "Blue Flame, please, let this go my way.." As I watch the blue smoke lead up out of the shop, I started to head to bed.

Somewhere else, across the bridge.

Your POV

I stared at my Brother, a questionable expression on my face.

"Repeat what you just asked me..?" I crossed my legs, confused.

My brother sighed, "P..Please come with me to work tomorrow..I..I don't think I can make it alone.." Even if he was the older one, I was seriously the more mature.

I took a deep breath, "Okay Wade...I'll accompany you to work.." I smiled softly as he hugged me tight, crying.

"Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!" He still hugged tight, crying softly.

I mean...how bad can tomorrow be?
