Third Person POV

At Wade & (Y/N)'s family house.

Flame took a deep breath before knocking on the door.

(Y/N) opened the door, seeing Flame and smiling happily, "Flame, so, what'd your mom say about our reading?" She asked excited.

Flame sighed, "Nothing...Look...I have a gift for you..." Flame handed (Y/N) two things.

First was the glass ball with the flower inside from the beach moment they spent together. The second was a (f/color) necklace with the flower on it. (Y/N)'s eyes shined at it as she quickly put it on her neck with a soft smile.

"And you came all the way here to give these to me?" (Y/N) looked up at Flame with love in her eyes.

"Hey...Why are you giving my sister gifts?" Wade walked over with a smirk, as he sees Flame's body language as his smile drops, "Flame..?" He asked.

"Hold on! I think I have something to show you!!" (Y/N) smiled happily and rushed inside, "Just give me two seconds and I'll get you some boots!" She smiled.

Flame looked at (Y/N) confused.

At the old Garden place.

Wade, (Y/N) and Flame made their way towards the entrance.

"(Y/N)...what are we doing here?" Flame asked confused, wearing the boots (Y/N) gave him.

"Just wait!" (Y/N) seemed so excited.

Once they reached some gates, Wade took off his shirt and threw it over the gate as he simply walked through. For (Y/N), she couldn't do that. Flame walked past, burning the gate. He helped (Y/N) through.

"Why do they even have these?" Wade asked.

"Eh...Who knows?" (Y/N) shrugs and walked ahead, "Come on!" She waved them over.

As they walked closer, (Y/N) pushed the sign that said 'NO Fire Allowed'. Flame followed Wade & (Y/N) inside as they all saw Gale inside of the place.

"Hey! It's my favorite fireball and waterfall!" Gale smiled at the two, then at Wade, "Hey Wade!" She smiled before looking at the other two.

"Hey Gale...What's...going on?" He seemed more confused now than ever.

"I know...you think that you have to end this, but...that flooded tunnel, it goes to the main terminal..." (Y/N) smiled softly.

"...Okay?" Flame now seemed more confused.

"Do you...still want to see a Vivisteria?" (Y/N) questioned.

"Gale?" Wade gestured to Gale.

Gale inhaled deeply as she blew a small bubble into the water, opening it up with Flame to get in.

"Wait...I'm supposed to get in there?" Flame questioned.

"The air should last at least 20 minutes..." Gale stated.

Flame looked at (Y/N) nervously, "They said you couldn't go in there..." (Y/N) looked from the bubble to Flame with a determined smile, "Why does ANYONE get to tell you what you can do in your life..?" (Y/N) stared at Flame with a shine in her eye, making him blush.

'This...is amazing...' Flame thought as he shot (Y/N) a look, 'She...did this all for me?' He smiled softly, 'She truly is a wonder of a girl...' Flame tried to contain his beating heart as suddenly he felt a shortness of breath, "Uhh...(Y/N)?" He questioned.

"Hm?" She looked at him as her eyes widened, "Oh Squirt!!! We need to get you out of here!" (Y/N) looked around as she saw an exit, pushing Flame towards it.

It was a close call, the two almost didn't make it but they pushed through. Landing on the pavement under the bridge. Both grunting in pain and panting in tiredness.

"I...I'm so sorry...I should have never..." (Y/N) looked down as if she was going to cry.

A sudden bubbling happened in her cheek as she saw Flame touch her cheek with a soft smile, "Are you kidding? That...That was amazing! I mean...I finally saw a Vivisteria! You...made that happen..." Flame blushed, "You...were inspiring...that was inspiring..." He smiled.

"But...if we...I don't want you to get hurt..." (Y/N) looked down sadly.

"I had enough courage to touch you cheek...and..." Flame's eyes widened, "We're...fine..." His jaw dropped.

(Y/N) looked up into Flame's eyes, a blush spread across her face. A small smile sneaks it's way onto her face as well as she looked down embarrassed.

"(Y/N)...Can I kiss you?" Flame suddenly asked, catching (Y/N) off guard.

"What?" Her eyes widened.

"I...I'm so sorry...it was a stupid idea...I just thought that I'd rather ask for consent then..." He was stopped.

"Sure..." (Y/N) stated out front.

"Are you...sure?" He asked, "Because I am willing to wait for you to be ready...and...I'll wait for you..." He smiled softly.

(Y/N) felt her face burning up, not because of Flame, "I said sure.." She smiled.

"Alright..." Flame got closer and lightly kissed (Y/N) on the lips.

As the kiss went on, Flame started to remember everything that had happened with his father and the shop. So many thought crowded into his mind. The shop...THE SHOP!!

Flame pushed (Y/N) back as she looked up at him confused, "What happened?" She asked nervously.

"I...I need to go..." Flame got up quickly and rushed off.

"Hey!" (Y/N) followed after him.

"Hey, you two, what..." Wade tried to speak but saw Flame leaving as (Y/N) followed from behind, Wade followed the two to make sure everything was fine.

At the train station, Wade caught up to the two.

"Where are you going?" He stopped his sister from running, walking in front of her.

"Back to my life at the shop where I belong...I...I take over tomorrow!" Flame confessed as he walked up the stairs, (Y/N) and Wade following.

"Wait...you don't want that, you said so yourself.." (Y/N) stated, seeming worried.

"It...doesn't matter what I want..." Flame sighed and walked up the stairs still.

"Of course it does....Listen...You've got an opportunity to do something you want with your life..." Wade stated.

Flame stopped, "...'Want'...?" He questioned as he smirked, "Yeah, that may work for your rich kid, 'follow your heart' family, but getting to do what you want is a luxury and not for people like me!" His fire started to slowly turn purple.

Wade slowly started to get mad, "Wade...Maybe we should..." (Y/N) was about to continue but Wade didn't listen.

"Why not? Just tell your father how you feel...This is too important! Maybe he'll agree!" Wade stated as he walked up to Flame, "And maybe you can be able to feel free to be with my sister!" Wade gestured to a flustered (Y/N).

Flame chuckles scornfully, "Yeah...A perfect life with the girl I love...Yeah...sure..." He rolled his eyes.

"Funny...and this whole time, I thought you were so strong...but turns out you're just afraid..." Wade looked down.

"Don't you dare judge me!" Flame yelled.

"Flame...Wade...Let's stop this!" (Y/N) got in the middle of them.

"I'm sorry, (Y/N) but neither of you know what it's like to have parents who gave up everything for you..." Flame sighed.

"Excuse me...What doesn't she get?" Wade asked, walking up to them.

"I'm Fire, Wade...and I can't be anything more than that!" Flame yelled, "It's what I am and what my family is! It's our way of life!! I would love to have a life with (Y/N) if I could but I can't! I cannot throw all of that away just for some girl!" Flame caught what he just said as he looked towards (Y/N) who's eyes were wide.

(Y/N) looked down and didn't know what to say, her mind was racing. She wanted run away but she couldn't.

"I...I...don't understand..." (Y/N) mustered to get out.

"...And that alone...Is...a reason why this could never work..." Flame sadly said, "It's....over...(Y/N)..." He made his way into the train as his head was telling him to take it back, go back and take it back.

Why did he make her cry? Why isn't he going back? More thoughts circled his mind but his body, his mind forced his heart to stay quite and go to his family. Flame felt tears roll down his face.

On the platform, Wade hugged his crying sister as he looked at the train leaving the station.

He needed to do something to make everything right. He knew it. But what could he do to make everything better again?

Wade suddenly got an idea to make his sister happy again and to show Flame that he could have the life he wanted.
