○●○●○ Flame's POV ●○●○●

Everything was going perfectly. The shop barely leaked anymore. I was, somehow, keeping my temper in check, and everything seemed perfect. Well... we would have the occasional leak from time to time!

"Oh! Your ceiling is dripping again!!" A regular complained.

A small drop fell into the guys boiling lava(coffee). At least it wasn't a pool of water because then we'd be in trouble.

"More leaks...?" Ashfa asked, confused and obviously annoyed.

I quickly rushed over, getting on the table to get closer to where the leak was, "Don't worry!" I reassured them, "This whole problem is going away!" I fixed the pipe with the heat radiating from my hands, "I can feel it!" I looked down at Ashfa and smiled.

Ashfa sighed as I quickly looked up to see the time.

3:00

CRAP! I had to go... but how the heck am I going to get away from working?

I smiled awkwardly and stepped down from the table, "And since we're al good!" I crossed my arms, "I am also going away to do...." I quickly thought to myself before seeing a box, "DELIVERIES!" I smiled, proud of my idea.

I quickly walked away from Ashfa towards the back of the shop. Out of the corner of my ear, I heard Mom sniff the air. What or... who was she smelling this time?

I quickly put on my hoddie as I smiled at myself in the mirror.

'Should I...pack one for (Y/N)?' I thought I wanted to at least be a gentleman.

I quickly grabbed a bag and stuffed another hoddie into it. I dashed out the door, looking around nervously.

"Yo' Flame!" I heard a young voice call for me.

I turned and saw...Clod. I seriously didn't have time for his childish flirting. He seriously needed someone else to crush on, maybe a girl... maybe a boy!

"Clod..." I greeted as I started to walk off.

Clod smiled happily, "I grew a new one!" He exclaimed as he forced himself to grow a new flower as he grunted in pain, handing me the flower he picked from his armpit, "My...King..." He winced in slight pain.

I reached out to grab it as it disinterested. That's what happens when you're a fire element. You burn things.

"Oops, sorry, but I gotta go!!" I quickly ran off.

~♤~ AT THE MOVIES ~♤~

I was waiting by the movie theater for (Y/N) to arrive. I was so nervous and I'm not sure why. I put my hands in my pockets to stop myself from clenching my fist. Was she not coming anymore. I really started to worry.

"Am I late?" A familiar voice asked as I turned around to see (Y/N) in a beautiful (f/co) dress (or pants & t-shirt).

'Woah...' I felt my mouth drop.

"Flame?" She asked, concerned.

I shake my head, "Yeah...of course!" I smiled nervously.

My heart was doing flips. Why was I acting like this? Like a goof! Was she... making me feel like this?

I saw her pass by me as she looked up to see the movie playing, "Tide and Prejudice?" She questioned.

Happily, I hadn't bought the tickets yet, "Uhh.. What do...YOU wanna watch?" I asked softly.

"Hmmm?" She looked at the list, "Who for Elemengers: Age of Wavetron!" She smiled with excitement.

'Action Movie?' I couldn't stop smiling.

Everyone in Fire Town LOVES Action Flicks, a little less than Tela Novellas, though. I paid for the tickets as we headed inside. I couldn't help but look at her, she was beautiful.

~♤~ AT THE PARK ~♤~

I couldn't stop smiling. After that day at the movies, I noticed that whenever we hung out, she would wear the hoddie I gave her. She is so cute... like a smokey cat. We were laughing about what happened at the park. I wanted to tell Ashfa about everything, but...he seemed so proud of me.

If he knew that I was with (Y/N) and hanged out with both her and Wade, he'd never let me run the shop. Plus... I'd never be able to see that smile again...I MEAN.. I'd never be able to see my friends again! Ha..ha..ha..

I looked at (Y/N) to see her shocked and amazed face, I was confused as I looked at my...green hands?

"Woah!" She smiled widely, "Your... Green!" She looked at me, curious, "How did you do that?" She questioned.

I chuckled at her cuteness, "It's the minerals..." I picked up a small mineral from the grown. It was (f/co).

I stuff it in my pocket before smirking, "Check this out!!" I ran towards the other colored minerals and started to change colors.

Red. Pink. Blue. Green. Yellow. Orange. Purple. Every single color I landed on, I changed. I looked down to see (Y/N)'s eyes sparkling, I stared in awe. My heart stung a bit.

I remembered back to a few minutes ago. While we were dancing, we couldn't do what everyone else was doing. We couldn't dance close. If we did... I would cause her to evaporate, and I really don't wanna lose her.

I turned multi-colored as (Y/N) smiled, "Watch this!" She waved for me to look.

She ran to the water and started to walk on it! Once she got far enough, she just started to surf on the water.

'She's seriously amazing...' I couldn't help but think to myself.

Part of me wanted to stay focused on just... being friend buf... another half wanted something from this, something more...?

I stared at the rainbow that she created as my eyes lit up in wonder and amazement. She truly was a gem.

~♤~ LATER ~♤~

On my way home, I kept my hands in my pockets as I kept smiling. She was making me smile more and more today. I held the gem I pushed in my pocket in my hands, but not too much. I feared that if I did, I would burn it. Would she like the gem in a necklace? I smiled as I kept thinking about us. It couldn't probably never work, but... that smile.

As I kept walking, water started to pour from the train. I stared in amazement as my mind traveled back to (Y/N)'s smile. I slowly walked over and was about to touch it as my eyes widened.

'What...am I doing?'

My logical side finally caught up to my creative side. I looked up to see the fireplace. I quickly ran towards the door, stopping near by the door as I quietly opened it.

~♤~ THE VERY NEXT DAY ~♤~

I was helping a customer reach a super high shelf. Since hanging out with (Y/N), I've noticed how chill I've become lately. It was... sort of amazing!

But when everything started to rattle and shake, my eyes widened to see water entering the pipes, a lot of it.

'I thought we fixed it!' Panic rushed to my mind as thought of water filling the shop, it closing down, filled my head.

Ashfa and I quickly ran to the Blue Flame and started to pull it back. But once I saw Ashfa struggling, I made my way to the pipe and started to close it.

"Flowers!! Flowers for Flame!!" An Earth delivery lady spoke.

I looked over to see two eyes in the water.

'(Y/N) is here?!' fear filled my mind.

I finished closing the pipe as I ran over to my mother, taking all the flower pots from her.

"Oh! Excuse me! These are so beautiful!" I forced a smile, "Gonna... go put these away!!" I quickly ran off.

Down in the basement, I placed down all the flower pots that that lady delivered.

"What are you doing here?!" I asked, annoyed.

"We've got bad news.." (Y/N) started as Wade took out the flowers with his hand.

"The sandbags didn't hold apparently..." Wade confessed, "And in worse news...I'd forgotten a tiny...little detail...about the last time I saw the city crew!" He mumbled nervously.

I looked at (Y/N) for an answer, "He knocked over three tons of cement on some workers who still haven't recovered..." She looked at Wade with her arms crossed as she imerged from the vase, wearing my hoddie.

I blushed, "I guess you could say that they still have hard... feelings!" Wade joked.

"And because of that... they won't help us..." I concluded.

"Yep!" (Y/N), and Wade replied.

"Wait... Gale's deadline is tomorrow!" I started to slowly hyperventilate, "We need more sustainable..." I thought of something, ANYTHING.

"Something sustainable to water...?" (Y/N) repeated out loud.

"Flame! Did you fix the leak?" Ashfa's voice rang in my ear.

"Quick hide!" I whispered to the twins.

Wade put himself into a vase, but (Y/N) couldn't get to the vase in time.

Ashfa gasped, "ITS YOU!" He yelled.

"It's...me?" (Y/N) questioned.

"You're the girl who started all this!" Ashfa complained.

I had to do something, "No, Ashfa... Different girl..." I lied.

Happily, I noticed (Y/N) catching on to my lie.

"Not all water looks alike!" I went over to Ashfa nervously.

"Who are you?" Ashfa asked.

"Uhhh..." (Y/N) looked over at me for help.

"Uhh.. Ashfa! She's the daughter of the... Food... Inspector?" I questioned as I lied, "Right?.." I looked at (Y/N) with a forced smile.

"Y...Yeah! That's right! My...Mother is sick so I had to come instead!" She smiled happily.

"Hmm..." Ashfa came closer to me, "I think she's lying through her feet..." Ashfa whispered.

"Teeth..." I corrected.

"WHATEVER!" He complained again, "Food upstairs...Come..." Ashfa started to walk upstairs as I started to follow.

"Wade...go check the leak.. we'll be right there..." I heard (Y/N) whisper to Wade, who nodded and left quickly.

Upstairs, (Y/N) followed behind me to the counter. Asfha and I got behind it as (Y/N) stood in front of us.

"You really food Inspector daughter?" Asfha asked.

"As far as you know...yes?" She questioned nervously.

"Then inspect this!" He shoved a plate of...OUR SPICYEST FOOD ITEM!? My mouth dropped.

She sniffed it, "Uhh..YEP! All looks good to me!" She forced a nervous smile.

"No... Inspect with mouth!" Ashfa at one as I looked at (Y/N) with full fear in my heart.

(Y/N) quickly blew on it a bit, with a nervous chuckle, before eating it. She was bubbling. She screamed. SHE SCREAMED?! I felt so bad, she was hurting, I think. She opened her mouth wide as a huge bubble came out of it. Ashfa popped it once it floated over as (Y/N) screaming in pure agony could be heard.

"You see..." I forced a smile, "She likes it!" I gestured to (Y/N).

"So...do we pass?" Ashfa asked, "Or do you need to try..." He pulled out a bucket and dumped someone on her plate.

"Ashfa...that's too much..." I stated.

Ashfa sent me a glare, "Made of pure lava, sent from Fireland!" Ashfa smiled.

(Y/N) took a deep breath and shoved three in her mouth. She bubbled up and slightly explode with water, falling back against the shelves.

"WATCH MY STORE!" Ashfa yelled before smirking, "So...finally grade?" He asked.

"...Mmmm..A...Plus!" She weakly smiled as she smacked her lips, "Actually...after the heat dies down..it's pretty good!" She smiled as she got up.

She grabbed a cup, "If you don't mind!" She took some of the Klu-nuts and put them in the cup.

Once she started to fill the cup with water, I got nervous, seeing Ashfa get UPSET! I held my breath and bit my lip in pure nervousness.

"See!!" She smiled after taking a sip, "It's really tasty if you water it down a little!" (Y/N) smiled warmly.

"Water. Us. Down?" Ashfa said through his teeth.

I got lost in my thoughts. I couldn't think straight. Everything was going wrong. Everything was a mess. We needed to fix the...

FLASH

I saw Ashfa post the picture on the Banned wall as I sighed, "Okay Ma'am I'm sorry but you gotta go!" I excorted (Y/N) out of the store.

"Look...meet me at the beach and we'll make more sandbags..." I smiled nervous as I saw (Y/N) crying.

Did she not like how Ashfa was... yelling at her?

"I...I know...we have to figure out how to fix those doors..." (Y/N) kept her head down.

"Hey...Don't cry...it's gonna be okay..." I smiled as I glanced at the shop, "It's all gonna be okay..." I restated.
