We stayed silent for the entirety of the car ride because Jackson seemed to tell there was no way I could talk about this without crying. No matter how distant and selfish my parents were I still loved them. They are my parents but....

    I start to cry and then I see Jackson. I saw how hard it was for him. He only knew me for a three days and now he has to watch me cry my eyes out. I am such a baby. I'm dumb and stupid and and a nobody. I was kicked out of my own home. I don't understand what I did I don't understand what I can do, Jackson doesn't even understand what is wrong with me. Jackson he is so odd. Hot. But odd. I can't even control my powers. I have tried to practice my fire or my wind or literally anything else but I can't. My fire sparks out and nothing can go right. I am not worth anything much less someone willing to help something like me. I even... I... I  erased my.... her mind... and and I... I messed up everything. I might as well

"Katelyn we're here. Welcome to Jefferson Motel." 

" Thanks." I say quietly as his smile drops. Did I really have to hurt him too. 

I lay down on one of the too beds. Starring at the stealing for god knows how long. Jackson looks asleep but I can't sleep and something is telling me to walk over to him.

"Jackson." I wisper. His eye groggily open and I stare into those beautiful eyes. They make me feel like I am starring at the ocean. " I can't sleep can I sleep with you?" He nods his head and nods towards the other side of his bed. I don't know what I was expecting but I felt disappointed. I lay down and lay there a little longer then I get shocked when Jackson rolls over and wraps one arm around my waist. I might have imagined it but I think he pulled me into him a little. I was out like a light after that. It was the best sleep I have ever had.
