Katelyn pov

When I got home I thought of all the things that were happening to me. How do I say bye to everyone and everything in my life in only a week? As I thought it over my maid Marinette came in. She was my real mother. My mom was and is never there for me. Marinette is and has always been. Now I have to say bye to the only person I have truly loved. My boyfriend is my arranged husband. We were forced together and never really loved one another. I know what to do. I'm calling Matthew!

             "  Hey Kathryn. "

     " My name is Katelyn and you know it! "

               " Whatever. Why are you calling me? " 

      " I'm breaking up with you! "

             " You know we can't do that. I would if I could ages ago. "

       "I don't care. It's over." 

               " fine you deal with the wrath. Bye. "

    I sigh. I look at my phone. A unknown number texted me. 'Hey Katelyn it's Jackson. Just wanted to say call me if you need anything. Anything at all.' That's sweet.  I look at Marinette. She looks nervous. 

 "Marinette what is wrong?"

           " ,Nothing I just worry for you. "

 " I know you do. I just don't know how much I can take. Mom is traveling the world as a supermodel, dad spends his days drinking and cheating on mom, and my friends constantly wanting my money not my friendship. Sometimes I wish I wasn't rich. " 

 "Katelyn. I know it's hard but don't worry everything will turn out fine." 

 " How do you know ? "

 "I have a feeling......... In my knee."

 " on really ? "

 "Yep my knee." She sits on my bed " Now, let's see if you have one in yours. " she then grabs my knee making me squeal and snort. 

 "Marinette I am sorry but I am.......... Running away soon. I need a break from this life."

 " oh my Kate. When? I will help you. I completely understand, I expected this. "

 " Really! I um. I leave um. Tomorrow! Ya tomorrow night. "

 " Okay Katelyn. I will be right back. " Wow she really expected me to run away. Is my situation really that bad? I guess I never realized.

 " Okay Katelyn  sign these two forms and here is your suitcase. The clothes will last you two weeks, as will the food. Use the money for a plane ticket and take a bus to a small town. No one will find you till you're ready. Get a good job and an apartment. Don't contact me or anyone. Fine new Friends and use the new phone not yours. Stay safe my Kate. These are letters to your parents. " I stare blankly at the love in her eyes. Wow I never expected this. She must really love me. I start crying. No one has ever loved me. I hug her. 

 " Thank you Marinette! I love you too! " we hug it out and I sign the letters. I then call Jackson.
