Chapter 1
Orion trained in the training area, while Arcee watched him. And Cliffjumper came back with three glasses of Energon, two were normal ones for him and Arcee, while one was low-grade energon for Orion. The Elementa of Fire sat down next to the Elementa of Storms, and handed her a cup.
Arcee gladly took the glass, and smiled at Cliffjumper. Before resuming to watch little Orion, along with the horned Elementa.
"The kid's cute, don't you think?" Cliffjumper says breaking the silence between him and Arcee.
"Yeah, and innocent too. Sometimes, I wonder what would've happened if Commander Bumblebee weren't there to save him." Arcee replies before drinking some of the energon Cliffjumper had given to her.
"Yeah, me too. But it didn't happen did it?" Cliffjumper responds with a grin.
"Sentinel was so worried when he hadn't returned. After all, the two are really good friends." Arcee says, deep in thought.
"I know, but do you think that their friendship might be . . . falling apart?" Cliffjumper states, while taking a chug of energon.
"What? Cliff, they've known each other long before the war started. If anything, they're probably having some time to themselves." Arcee responds while continuing to watch the young seed on the training course.
Cliffjumper was silent for once, at least until he found the most suitable reply for children's ears.
"Most likely not, even if I haven't known Bee for long, I've known him long enough to know that him and Sentinel chose not to leave each others side after Megatronus also known as The Fallen betrayed the two." He replied, and took one last swig of energon before his glass was empty.
Arcee narrowed her optics,
"There he goes again, thinking about the past." Arcee though bitterly, she set the glass of energon down, stands up and crosses her arms across her chest, with a frown plastered on her face.
Cliffjumper noticed this, and stood up as well.
"Arcee? You okay?" Cliffjumper asks cautiously,
"No, why do you always think about the past!? You can't change it, so why dwell on it?? I'm out, maybe next time Cliff. When your head is in the present." Arcee snaps at the horned Elementa.
And then she turned on her heel, and had her small feathery wings flapped out, and with that she walked away, not wanting to see the Elementa of Fire for a while.
"C-cliff?" A small voice said.
Cliffjumper turned around, and looked down to see Orion. and with a small smile, Cliffjumper picked the seed up, and Orion snuggled in Cliffjumper's arms.
"Orion, you're becoming a good fighter. How's your arm?" Cliffjumper asks.
"It's fine, but I see you and the others fight with different weapons. I want one too!" Orion replies.
Cliff had a worried look on his face, and thought of how the war was already affecting the little seed.
"How about we learn some? Then when you're older you can pick the one you want." Cliffjumper suggests, and the red and blue seed beamed with joy.
"Imma also ask Bulkhead and Wheeljack if they wanna help." He adds, while Orion laughed and giggled in Cliffjumper's arms.
***
Cliffjumper set Orion down on the ground, and him, Wheeljack, and Bulkhead sat down around him, and Bulkhead started.
"Alright, so kid. We use swords and that sort of stuff, m'kay? Only sometimes we use uh, uh- pew pews." Bulkhead starts to say, trying not to say the actual word to ruin Orion's innocence even more than it already was.
Cliffjumper laughed, and started to say things of his own.
"Orion, when you tap into your elemental energy, you will receive your weapons. But that can happen at different times, usually when you're like Arcee's age of 20, and she's still a sapling because you're a mature at 30. Anyways, getting off-topic here, but when you tap into all that energy, you get a visit from Primus." Cliffjumper finishes.
Orion was in awe, and wanted to tap into his elemental energy. He struggled to do so, and eventually got tired.
"Little 'O, it doesn't happen that easily 'kay? It takes time, but if you wanna know some weapons." Wheeljack's expression turned serious.
"There is one weapon, and it causes mass destruction, if you see it being used, you must at once avoid it." Wheeljack continues.
"What is it?" Orion asks curiously. Even Bulkhead and Cliffjumper were listening in.
"It's a," The Elementa of Smoke starts to say

"Wrench"
Both Cliffjumper's and Bulkhead's expressions were horrified, while Orion was simply confused.
"But Ratchet uses a wrench." He adds innocently.
'Yeah, he does." Bulkhead starts to say
"But if you do something wrong," Cliffjumper adds,
"He'll find you." Wheeljack continues,
"And you'll get a wrench to your helm." The three finish in unison.
The seed's eyes widened,
'Perhaps this wrench, does much more damage than I thought.' Orion thinks to himself
***
Commander Bumblebee listened in, to three of the Elementas telling little Orion about the wrench, to be honest, everyone was afraid of it. Even Sentinel Prime.
Bumblebee frowned at the thought of his old friend's name repeating in his head. After everything, the two had been through together, Sentinel had just up and left. Not even trying to see if there were any survivors.
"Sir? Is everything alright?" Bumblebee heard the voice behind him, turned around and looked up at the much taller Elementa, Ultra Magnus.
"Everything's fine, Magnus." Bumblebee replied to the Third in Command.
"My apologies for this Sir, but I feel like there is more you want to say." The Elementa of Ice tells the scarred Commander, receiving a raised eyebrow from Bumblebee.
Bumblebee silently sighed, "I feel like Sentinel is hiding something from me. He's never been this distant, and have you taken into notice that sometimes he's gone for hours into Primus knows where, and doesn't come back until a battle is about to start." Bumblebee finishes.
"Sir, while I may not be experienced in emotions. My advice is that you put this to the side, and focus on battle. But it does lead me to wonder where he goes." Ultra Magnus wondered out loud.
"Where I go, and why is none of your concern. I can easily take your positions, and rid of you two faster than Ratchet can throw a wrench." Sentinel Prime says with venom dripping from his voice.
Bumblebee grew furious, while Ultra Magnus stayed quiet, but was extremely concerned.
"I DON'T CARE IF YOU THINK YOU HAVE POWER OVER US, SENTINEL! WHAT ARE YOU DOING WHICH IS SO SECRET YOU CAN'T EVEN TELL YOUR LIEUTENANTS WHERE THE FRAG YOU'RE GOING!!!" The Commander yells, with his sky blue eyes blazing with anger, hurt, and betrayal.
Sentinel pinned Bumblebee against the wall, and placed his double-ended blade near his neck. Ultra Magnus was glued to the floor, absolutely frozen in fear.
"Another word Commander, and I could end this right now." Sentinel spat, and put his blade back in its sheath. And simply walked away, avoiding eye-contact with Ultra Magnus.
Bumblebee's tense frame relaxed a bit, and the TIC walked up to him.
"Sir? What do you think we do?"
"I-I don't know."

Arcee walked away, furious. She hoped to find Tailgate in their shared room.
"Tailgate?" Arcee called out.
"Hey little 'sis." Tailgate replies. "What's wrong?" He asks with worry.
Arcee sighed, sat on the bed next to her older brother and began to unleash the uncertainty she had been feeling inside.
"Cliff, always talks about the past. And I don't care if he does, but what about the future? What about a slim chance we have of winning this war? I mean, I like him Tailgate. But I just don't know anymore." Arcee cries.
"Hey, it's okay. Some bots don't want to get their hopes up. But if you ever need to talk, I'm here for you 'Cee, I always am."
Arcee smiled, and Tailgate continued to comfort her.
She didn't want Tailgate to leave, not now, not ever.

Smokescreen was still young, very young in fact. He hadn't even figured out his elemental potential. Yet, why did four Elementa have to watch him? He only needed one, right?
The seven year old seed walked up to the green Elementa who had orange eyes. He was talking with a blue and white Elementa.
Smokescreen patted on the green one's leg, and the Sapling turned around, smiled and picked him up.
"Boulder, I thought you put him in hibernation? Not to be awaken until it's safe." The blue and white Sapling says.
"Chase, leaving him in hibernation will lead to even more vulnerability. Just ask Heatwave what to do, besides put him in a long rest where you're completely defenseless, and can't do anything if you're under attack." Boulder replies.
Chase sighs, and walks off to find Heatwave, whereas an orange and white sapling came in with some low-grade energon.
"Boulder, I got the energon you asked for." He says, handing the energon to the small seed.
"Thanks Blades, how did you get it so fast?" Boulder asks the flier.
"I'm not an Air elemental for nothing!" Blades replied cheerfully.
At that moment, an annoyed Heatwave, and a calm Chase entered the quarters.
"Boulder, hibernation is the only way he'll stay safe. Ultra Magnus's orders were clear, get him off planet." Heatwave seethed.
"No, he would need constant protection. The moment he steps out of this ship, then every bounty hunter, or decepticon will be on the run just to find him. And I'm not risking a seed's life, Heatwave." Boulder replies calmly.
"What if," Blades chimed in, "we find a way to transport him to the Dome?"
All of the Elementa's eyes went wide, while Smokescreen was simply confused. Then Heatwave walked in front of Blades, and put both of his hands on the Air Elemental's shoulders,
"Blades, buddy. That might've been the best idea you've ever had." Heatwave says amazed.
"The only question is, how do we do it without just walking to their door, and get Smokescreen killed?" Boulder asks.
"We could use root transportation!" Chase exclaims, "There's an entire system of Root tunnels below ground, it'll keep the signal hidden, and we can get Smokescreen to the autobots without them having to come here." Chase adds
"Actually, I have an even better idea!" Blades says this time.
"What could be better than sending him to the Autobot base?" Heatwave questions with a raised eyebrow.
"We can send him to Alpha Trion!" Blades exclaimed.
"Alright, you know what? We're going with that, Chase which tunnel leads to the big guy?" Heatwave asks.
'This was it,' Smokescreen thought, 'guess I'll be leaving these guys, and heading to some other one.' He thinks with a frown.
Boulder looks at the young seed, and attempted to comfort him. "Don't worry Smokescreen, Alpha Trion can keep you safe better than we can. But we'll visit sometimes?" Boulder says in a gentle tone, and soft voice.
Boulder said that to comfort him, but Smokescreen felt as if something would go very wrong, at Alpha Trion's.
Something he won't forget, for the rest of his life.
***
Alpha Trion already knew of the situation at hand, and he knew that Smokescreen was very special. The young seed was pouting, and this lead Alpha Trion to think he probably didn't want to leave the Rescue League.
But it was for his own good.
For Smokescreen, the old archivist felt something different about this certain young one. He felt as if the young seed would die, if in the face of battle at his age.
The young one probably didn't understand that he used to have caretakers. He didn't know he had a brother. One whom Alpha Trion had seen briefly on the battlefield, who was it? Yes, the one named . . .
Cliffjumper
Of course Cliffjumper knew he had a little brother. But he didn't know he was still alive. Then again, not many know how many of their closest ones were alive.
Alpha Trion took it as his sacred duty, to protect one of the youngest Elementa there is, not only one of the youngest, but possibly some of the only hopes left of reviving a new generation.
Slowly, but surely Smokescreen would come along, possibly tap into his elemental potential early. And maybe, just maybe once become the light in our darkest hour.
'He has potential, he can do it.' Alpha Trion thought to himself.
While the Thirteen Original Primes watched what became of their home world from the allspark. Alpha Trion had a feeling that something was going to change the tide of war,
For either Autobot, or Decepticon.
