-Unlike You-
-Unlike You-
-Alex's POV-
I soon manage to find David.
"Hey dude, eh I need to leave, come with me?" I ask.
He nods, "of course, now?"
I nod. We exit the house and head home.
"So, why are we leaving so early?" David asks.
"Just, don't feel well." I insist.
More home sick then anything.
"Ah dude! This one time when me and Cassie had spilt up when going to different colleges and god I was torn, being away from her was painful but with some help I got over it but don't tell her I said that because she never got over being away from me but hey that's females for you huh. It's only the fact that my mate, Lucas, was able to comfort me and relax me that kept me sane." David babbled on, "you know, having a mate like Lucas changed me. I mean, he showed me how women should treat us and how we should treat women. Any girl who he marries is lucky. He's pure honesty. But honestly I like messing with people yeah it breaks my heart once in a while but I can manage it."
We arrive at my place as he ends his babbling.
"Eh, goodnight David." I say.
"Night bro." David waves goodbye to me.
"Thanks for walking me back." I add.
"My pleasure, I am kind after all." He grinned and walked off.
Kind, of course.
I enter the house and fling myself on the couch.
"Are you going to be a man about it or whine all night?" A voice from behind me says.
I look up to see Chris' father.
"Whine all night." I whisper, shoving my face into a pillow.
"Always knew Chris was into quitters," he pauses and takes a sip from his coffee, "unlike Sam."
He glances at me as I look at him and glare.
"I am not a quitter!" I declare, "Chris loves me and I love him! And, you can't change the fact that I'm not a try hard and, and Chris actually wants me." I stand up and face him, "I mean look at me, I do not look like the guy to give up, unlike you."
He lifts an eyebrow, "thought so."
I frown, "seriously?"
"What?" He asks.
"You say that to me and I'm horrible back to you and you do, nothing?" I question.
He shrugs, "kindness is the best way to kill your enemies."
I groan and face palm, "I just want Chris. Spare me the pain."
"Bad luck, you gotta wait." He smirks.
"But I'm so done." I glare at him.
He chuckles, and looks at his watch, "not just yet, you aren't burnt or crisp, you're still raw meat."
This causes me to laugh.
"Now, get to bed its late." He walks out of the room as I head to mine.
I sit on the bed, and mutter, "he really reminds me of Chris."
I frown, "Chris can wait. I waited for him and I know he'll do the same for me. I just have to enjoy myself. Or try to." I mutter, falling onto the bed.
I fall asleep due to the confusing yet amusing events of the night.
