-Party Fun-
-Alex's POV-
After a while of shopping, Cassie decided on a dress and let us get ready at hers.
"So everything's ready!" Cassie asks.
We all nod and head out, following Charles lead.
"So whose exactly going to be at this party?" I ask.
"People who are people." Charles laughs.
I nod my head, not actually paying any attention.
We arrive soon to a large house, filled with people and exploding music.
We all head inside.
"Be careful, yeah?" I shout, trying to be heard over the music.
They all nod and head off in separate ways.
I can't decide which way to go but I soon decide left as I see Jason coming straight towards me.
I jog up the stairs, bursting into the first room there is.
I switch on the light, exposing two people getting friendly with each other.
I groan, "out, please?"
Jason then walks in and spots them too, "GET OUT!"
The two people swiftly remove themselves from the room.
"You could've said please." I mutter.
Jason just stares at me.
"What's wrong now?" I ask.
I see his expression shift in a way I couldn't explain. Almost like his guard nearly got let down.
"I," he says uneasily, but steadies his voice, "I need to tell you something and I'm not saying for only the fact I want to be your friend, I'm saying it for the fact I'm Charles friend and I want him to be happy."
"It's okay." I say.
He goes to lift his hand but his expression changes, "w-what?"
"I said its okay." I repeat.
He lowers his hand and with embarrassment looks at the ground.
I place my hand on his shoulder, in a friendly manner. He tries to brush it away but I keep my hand firmly there.
"Look I don't know how many people you have came across that have betrayed you or been an arsehole to you but listen now. I am not one of those people. Yes I'm an arsehole but only to my best friends or if you've pissed me off, a lot." I inform him.
He nods head eagerly.
I hold my hand out for him, "dance?"
He takes it and smiles. We make our way downstairs and into the living room where everyone is dancing.
Jason starts dancing. When I strike up the courage, I start dancing too.
He catches my gaze a few times and let's out a laugh now and then.
"You're a nice lad." I whisper to Jason while dancing.
He mouthes, "thanks."
We carry on dancing for the next hour or so until something catches my un-needed attention.
