-Karaoke-

-Alex's POV-

The time comes to meet at the peer. So here I am, waiting, boringly.

I look out amongst the sea, appreciating the view.

"Hey!" Someone shouts from behind me.

I turn around, seeing Jason and a couple of his friends.

"I hope you don't mind that I brought some friends along." He grins.

"It's alright." I claim.

He grabs my arm, "come on let's head off."

After a long time of walking we, I assume, reach our destination.

"Karaoke?" I question.

Jason looks at me and crosses his arms, "is that a problem?"

"No- No! Just you, I didn't pass you as a singing kind of guy." I laugh.

He frowns but it doesn't seem bother him, "well is this okay with you?"

I nod.

We all enter and take a seat at a table.

"The cool thing is, you can order a room which is only for your group and, it's totally sound proof!" One of his friends add.

I nod, "impressive. Are we getting a room or?"

"No, unless you're easily embarrassed." Jason smirks.

"Really? Mate, I'm Alex Smith." I grin, "give me the mic, can you sing?"

I turn to one of his friends. She shrugs, "I'll try."

I hold out my hand as she takes it and pulls herself up.

"You can choose the song." I say.

"I have an idea!" She grins.

-After The Karaoke-

"Man, you have a great voice!" David confesses, throwing his arm over my shoulder as we leave the place.

David apparently is Cassie's, the girl I sang with, brother which now kind of makes sense as they both have defined/similar features whereas Cassie has blonde hair instead of David's caramel hair. Either way, now they told me, it's easy to notice.

"Yeah, I never doubted you." Jason mutters, smiling at the ground.

David slides his arm off my shoulder, stopping to talk with Cassie.

I decide to catch up with the guy up in front as I haven't head much from him and the fact Jason's having a conversation with his friend, Mike.

I awkwardly stand beside the guy, "hey."

He looks up at me shocked, and whispers, "you, you can't be talking to me."

"Why not?" I question.

"B-Because Jason won't like it." He whimpers.

"What was your name?" I ask.

"Charles." Charles mutters.

"Nice to meet your Charles, I'm Alex." I go to hold out my hand but someone slams my hand down to my side.

"Charles, no. Go talk to Oskar or something." Jason snaps.

I look down at the ground.

"Sorry about that!" Jason laughs.

"It's fine, he's nice." I frown.

He scoffs.

"I might call it a night." I suggest.

"Alright, we'll walk you back." Jason says.

"It's literally just around the corner." I say.

"No, it's fine, we have the time." Jason claims.

I nod.

We turn the corner and walk up the steps to the front door.

"Thanks for a fun night." I say, opening the door.

"Eh yeah, call me." He says, handing me a piece of paper.

I take it, "thanks, see you around."

I close the door on him and head to my room.

"Alex?" Chris' dad calls.

"Yep! It's only me! Sorry I was out late, I'm now sleeping though, so goodnight." I yell.

I hear a faint, "Goodnight."

I crawl into my bed and cuddle the blanket.

God, I miss him.

I grab my phone and message him;

'Message me when you get up, I miss you <3'

I put my phone down and roll over, shoving my face into the pillow.
