Sona wakes up in her bedroom, greeted by the warmth of the sunlight shining into her bedroom.

She heard a knock on the door and sees Sora. Her soft and usual smile plastered on her face again.

"Did you sleep well?" Sora enters her room, sitting down on Sona's bed as the younger nodded.

Sora smiled wider, kissing the hand of her dear sister.

"That's good, breakfast is served. Come down whenever you're ready." Sora says and Sona nodded.

Sora then gets up from her bed, exiting the room. Sona watches her leave before getting up from her bed.

She walks towards the window, pressing her hand against the glass. She feels the sudden warmth of the sun on her hand.

She takes back her hand, slightly upset that spring is going away and summer will come.

She dreaded summer and its hot days where all you want to do is stay inside with a cool temperature.

She enters her bathroom, taking a quick bath and ready herself.

Once she finishes, she brushes her hair, letting it flow down past her shoulders before she makes her way to the dining room where she sees her two siblings.

She sits down, greeted by the strong smell of flavours coming from the food served in front of her.

"Jie, I'm inviting my friends over later. Is that okay?" Xiaojun asks Sora who just smiled and chuckled.

"Of course! This house needs some more energy inside!" Sora says, laughing and Xiaojun laughs as well before looking at Sona.

"Sona-Jie, is it alright for you?" Xiaojun asks her for which Sona nodded, continuing to eat her food.

Xiaojun smiles widely, taking big bites of his food. Sora smiling at Sona being okay with other people around when she normally doesn't like it.

Sora's smiles became softer, realizing that her sister is slowly, very slowly changing.

"I hope you boys enjoy~"

Sona sits down, a book in her hand as she sighs and looks around.

Time has passed and she is in the library of her home which she had personally made for her love of books.

The library isn't that wide nor big but it has two stories with shelves that can fit hundreds of books, not a thousand.

There's a spiral staircase in the middle of the library, connecting the two floors. Under the staircase are the couch and desk.

She starts to read the book in her hand, not missing a single word written in the book, understanding each word.

She was very engrossed in her reading, to the point where she did not feel a presence in the library.

"Do you love reading that much?" She flinches, looking straight across her before turning her head to the side.

To her surprise, Kun was there.

A soft smile shown on his face as he looks at the book Sona was reading.

He leans down, closer to her. He checks the book and notices the familiar words in the book.

He then smiles, remembering when he read that book. He turns his head, his face being a few centimetres away from hers once again.

"For a cold person like you, a book like this suits your baby face." He says, his voice soft yet deep, almost in a whisper.

Sona's eyes slightly widen as Kun lean back, creating distance between them.

"Xiaojun and the other boys are engrossed with their games. I came to explore this home of yours since it's so big." He looks at Sona.

"And I want to see you." He continues, surprising Sona even more.

"Why would you want to see me?" Sona asks and Kun sits down across her.

He grabs a book from the desk between them both. He reads the title before flipping the pages to the very first page of chapter 1.

"Because I said that I'll be your friend, remember?" Kun says, not glancing at Sona who was staring at the boy.

"I don't need one," Sona says, her eyes going back to her book.

Kun looks at her, her tone of voice has that coldness once again which made Kun frown.

"You think that but I think, you need a friend. You're often alone and I believe that having a friend would-"

"I said I don't need one! Leave me alone." Sona raised her voice which surprised Kun and herself.

Her eyes widen because of herself.

Kun puts the book back on the desk, avoiding to look at Sona.

"Okay, I'll leave you alone." Kun stands up from his seat, ready to exit the library.

Sona watches him walk farther away from him. She reaches her hand out to him, hoping he could sense it but he didn't.

She drops her book, running towards Kun. She grabs hold of his sleeve which surprised Kun once more.

Kun turns around, surprised by Sona stopping him.

He then falls back due to Sona rushing towards him. His arms around Sona's waist, catching her when they both fell.

Kun opens his eyes, seeing Sona on top of him. He has never seen her look this worried before and it surprises him.

Today was just full of surprises from Sona to him.

He fixes his position, sitting up. He faces Sona, looking at each other in the eyes.

Kun places his hand on her cheek, feeling his heart beat uncontrollably fast. Sona starts to feel the same, looking straight to Kun's eyes.

Their hearts racing for each other as they continue to just stare at each other.

Sona opens her mouth, wanting to say something but didn't. Instead, she rests her head on Kun's collarbone.

The girl sitting on the lap of the boy who has his arms around her waist.

The two stayed like that for a few minutes that is until Sona has finally said something.

"Don't leave me alone."
