「 Todoroki's POV 」

I must have been running out of U.A's grounds like a panicked chicken, because I noticed the way people looked at me as I ran past them. I might as well have been Iida, that was how fast, at least how fast it felt like I was running just in order to make my way towards the nearest flower shop, which was pretty far away. I wodered if I was going to be able to get to tje cherry tree in time.

I ran down the streets, I could hear the sound of my shoes slamming against the pavement as I ran. I could see the front of the shop now, what flowers were I even going to get her? What would suit her? I slowed down into a jog when I was outside the shop, jogging inside and looking around the shop.

The many lush flowers placed on display around the relatively small flower shop spread a pleasant smell throughout the room. It was a bit fascinating, how such a small thing could smell so good, and in a mass, how beautiful they could look.

I took a while to regain my breath as I walked around in the small floweshop, looking at the different flowers. That's when it hit me, I had no clue what the hell I was doing. Half of the flowers here were just.. Flowers in my eyes, I only recognized a few of them, like the roses, yeah. Those, were probably the only ones I recognized.

I looked around for an employee and saw a woman with a few tattoos painting her arms. I speeded up to her.

"excuse me..? I need a bit of help-" I began, not feeling the obvious shame well over me, just yet.

The lady turned to look at me, "hm?" she smiled a bit.

"Yeah, so- I'm going to confess to a girl, and I need flowers- but.." I rubbed the back of my head, hoping to god that she didn't recognize who I was, like most people did.

The lady finished my sentence for me, "but you don't know which ones to get?"

I nodded and looked away, breathing out.

"What kind of girl is she? Sweet?" the lady asked, putting her hands on her hips and looking at me

"Yeah, you could say that.. Sweet, intelligent.. Basically a goddess in my eyes.." I shoved my hands into my pockets, I felt like one of those small boys that you see in typical movies or read about in books.

The flower lady laughed a bit, "hm.. I would take the roses in that case, they may be a bit common, but they are probably the most beautiful ones in this store if you ask me, they symbolise love, honor, faith, beauty, and passion. So I think that they are perfect," she continued.

I was a bit stunned, so much meaning out of one flower? Well, I guess they do have a long history involved with those things, so it shouldn't surprise me.

"Oh, okay. Thanks," I replied, awkwardly.

The flower lady helped me get the roses and I paid for them, walking out of the flower shop and started to run down the sidewalk and towards the cherry tree, doing my best to keep the roses intact while still getting to the to the place I needed to be.

When I finally made it to the tree, there was luckily nobody there, I looked at the time and let out a sigh of relief, "five minutes early.." I mumbled to myself, leaning against the tree and looking up at the crown of leaves above.

My heart was pounding in my chest, the time was ticking, the longer I waited the more nervous I got, my mind started to make up worst case scenarios and they made me more paranoid than I already was.

I closed my eyes and took a few deep breaths until I heard footsteps, my eyes shot open and I looked over in the direction where they were coming from.
There she was, the raven haired girl I loved. Yaoyorozu Momo.

I felt my heart race in my chest, there I stood with a bunch of flowers in my hands, looking like.. I don't know what, probably a goofball who had no clue what he was doing. Because that was basically what I was doing.

I waved a bit at her as she came closer, I saw on her face that she didn't expect me to be here.

"Hi, Yaoyorozu," I managed to choke out, my words fell flat, they sounded meek, not as powerful as I wanted them to come out.

Yaoyorozu pushed a few strands of hair out of her face and looked down, "Hello- Todoroki~kun.." she replied, nervously, "I didn't.. Expect it to be you to stand here.. Out of all people.." she smiled slightly. That smile made my heart skip a few beats.

"So.. I think you already know why.. I asked you to come here.." I rubbed the back of my head, glancing away.

"Uhm.. To ask me for a fav..our..?" she replied, looking up at me and raising an eyebrow to confirm what she had just said.

I shook my head rapidly, "NO! I mean-" I cleared my throat, I had already messed up.

HAHA, I'M GOING TO LEAVE THAT THERE! It's 2 AM and I have school in a few hours, but I'm feeling creative, so I'm not going to go to sleep until you get your ship c;
