Sero: What do you mean?

The bell rang, telling everyone the class was over and it was lunchtime, Kaminari didn't wait for his friends and just stormed out, maybe he wanted to be first in line in the cafeteria today, it was "Taco Tuesday".

Kirishima and Sero walked a couple of meters behind him, like they were looking at every move he made. Along the way to the cafeteria, at least 3 girls from first year approached him just to say hi, obviously trying to catch the attention of the blonde. But, much to Kirishima's and Sero's surprise, Kaminari ignored all of them, just waving back at the girls and kept walking without paying much attention to them.

Kirishima: See? That's what I'm talking about. Since when did Kaminari start rejecting girls who flirted with him like that?

Sero: Mmmm...

The two bros arrived at the cafeteria, doing their line for food, Kaminari was way ahead of them at this point, already sitting at a table and starting to eat his food, they looked at him from afar.

Sero: So what? Do you think he's gay?

Kirishima: Cut it out Sero, We both know Kaminari ain't gay.

Sero: OK, but explain to me how the hell is he acting so calm now that girls are raining over him?

Kirishima: I don't know man, We need to find out

The two guys grabbed their food and went straight to sit with Kaminari.

Kirishima: Hey bro, you really took off like a mad man, You didn't even wait for us - He said while chuckling

Kaminari: You know the rules Kirishima, on taco Tuesday, I don't know you guys hahahaha, you know I don't want to miss out.

Sero: Sooo...Kaminari, we saw you talking with a couple of first-year beauties on the way here, Is anything new?- The tall guy said with a smirk in his face

Kaminari: Hmm...well they just said hi to me...nothing much I guess...I don't even know any of those girls- He said while eating, not paying too much attention or interest in the topic- What? Do girls don't praise you from time to time in the hallway?

Sero: Not reall- And he felt Kirishima's elbow right on his ribcage

Kirishima: Y-yeah dude, all the time hehe, people really look up on us you know hehe...

Sero: Y-yeah, what he said- He said still feeling pain and looking at his red-haired friend with an annoyed face, then he looked back at Kaminari and asked him.

Sero: So... have you scored any dates with any of those girls? They really see they are into you, bro.

Kaminari: Mehh, not really. - Denki said taking a sip of his soda, still not very invested in the conversation.

Kirishima: Why?

Kaminari: Dunno, I just don't feel like it. - He said taking his focus back to his meal, he was enjoying that lunch more than anything at the moment, more so than hanging out with his two best friends.

Lunch was over and they were on their way to the classroom, Kaminari went quickly to the bathroom and told Kirishima and Sero to go ahead and don't wait for him. They both complied and started walking to the classroom, thinking about what to take from their lunch chat with Kaminari.

Kirishima: I'm telling you, that's so out of character for Kaminari

Sero: Yeah but he doesn't look sad or depressed, he's still as cheerful as ever

Kirishima: Yeah I know, that's what makes it more head-breaking to me.

Sero: I'm out of ideas bro, I can't think of something else that might be wrong with him.

Kirishima: Yeah, I don't know what might be on his mind...

But at that moment, from the other side of the hallway, they heard some laughter coming from three girls they knew perfectly who they were, Mina and Ochako emerged from the other hallway chatting and laughing, and behind them, a very happy and cheerful Jirou emerged. She looked very radiant that day, with a big cute smile, joyful eyes, and a somewhat rare glow in her attitude, that was more characteristic of people like Mina or Ochako, not her. Her glow even caught the attention of Kirishima and Sero's eyes, like she was a magnet to people. And at that moment, a metaphorical light bulb just appeared above the red-haired guy, finally catching a clue of what was happening to his friend.

Kirishima:...But now I have an idea of what "that" might be.

The whole class was already in the classroom, because Aizawa was always late (even more now due to his condition) they were all scattered around talking and chatting. Sero and Kirishima just looked at Kaminari, talking alone with the purple-haired girl with the long earlobes. His face was way different, a big smile more characteristic of the Kaminari they knew, It was more obvious that Jirou received a different treatment than the other girls, maybe because she was Kaminari's best friend in the whole world...or maybe...

Sero: I mean, I'm not surprised but...are you sure it's all because of her?

Kirishima: I always knew Kaminari had a little crush on Jirou but, he didn't even mention anything before besides he finds her cute and cool, and still he was behind other girls every time he got the chance, so why is it different now?

Sero: Maybe we need someone else's opinion. YO MINA!

Mina turned her head when she heard her name being shouted by TapeMan and she answered back.

Mina: YURRR!!! what's up guys...hey Kiri ;)- She said with a seductive smirk walking closer to Kirishima.

Kirishima: H-hey... He felt his face turned as red as his hair.

Mina: What's up Red Riot? All that manly talk and you still feel nervous being around me? You are just a cute little puppy. - She said while talking just inches from his face with a very flirtatious, low tone of voice and finally giving him a cute peck on the lips.

Sero:... You know I'm still here, right?

Mina: Hehehe sorry sweetie, my bad.

Kirishima and Mina started dating about a month ago and they were a very cute and funny couple, Kirishima always acted like the head of the relationship, acting all manly and caring; but Ashido knew how to dominate him very easily with her charms, she enjoyed looking him crumble very fast thanks to her teasing. She was his weak point.

Mina: 'Right so... what's the matter? why did you call me?

Kirishima: Do you think Kaminari has a little crush on Jirou?

Mina: Hello, I'm "Shit Sherlock", first name "No".- She said in a very sarcastic tone.- And people call me an idiot.

Sero: So you do?

Mina: Well duuuuhhhhh, isn't it obvious? really guys, you need to read the room sometimes. It has been this way since last year. He's your best friend for fuck sake, you should know this stuff.

And she was right, the expression on Kaminari's face while he was talking to Jirou was priceless, You could even tell his gold eyes had a somewhat neon electric glow that only showed up when he was in front of the girl he liked.

Sero: But, does Jirou know?

Mina: sighs*... The girls and I tried selling the idea to her, but every time we mentioned it, she just got mad and got even more stubborn. Until Yaomomo made us promise not to talk about it anymore, at least to in front of her. We try from time to time but you know how stubborn and blind she is to the situation, they are both idiots *chuckles*

Kirishima: So...what we should do?

Mina: Just, let them be, they will eventually find out what they feel about the other, either that or we could lock them in a room for 24h.

Sero: Wow Mina, you really have a Sharingan for this kind of stuff.

Mina: What can I say, it's my advanced observation haki hehe.

At that moment, Aizawa walked into the classroom and everybody returned to their seats. The two guys finally had a clear view of what was in their blonde friend's head. Maybe was his crush for Jirou getting bigger and bigger? So much that he started rejecting every girl in the academy who threw herself at him? Something big was going to happen and they could feel it.
