Kaminari stood up from the floor and walked towards his room, with his head down. Since he started dedicating songs to Jirou, all the lyrics of the songs were taken literally, and that had played a trick on him now. That's what happens when you eavesdrop.

He reached towards the handle of his door, taking a pause, wondering what to do next. He was feeling horrible, just a couple of minutes ago he was thinking he might have a shot with the girls of his dreams. That he might have a chance to be happy...but now, the only thing he had was sadness and broken dreams. So much so that he needed to drain it out with someone, someone who he could trust. Before entering his room, he pulled out his phone and texted a certain friend.

[15 minutes later]

*Knock* knock* knock*

Kirishima: Hey bro, may I come in?

Kaminari: Yeah...- He said without any emotion whatsoever. Denki was lying on his bed looking at the ceiling.

Kirishima: What's wrong bro? You said you needed to talk.

Kaminari: Yeah...Take a seat, there is much I must say.

Kaminari proceeded to spill all the information, and we are talking about ALL of it. Ever since Jirou asked him to help her with her training, the nightmares, the cuddling at night, the "incident about Jirou's wet dream", the "almost kiss" the day before, and what just happened half an hour ago in her room (Kirishima already knew about their fight and the incident with the other girl). This left the redhead guy stunned.

Kirishima: Damn bro, I didn't knew that, why didn't you tell us from the beginning?

Kaminari: I...*sigh* I wasn't ready okay, these have been a couple of crazy weeks with Jirou and now things are gonna get weird between us.- The frustration on Denki's face was noticeable.

Kirishima: But, why just me then? Why just tell me this and not the others? We are your friends dude.

Kaminari: *sigh* I know...It's just...you are my best friend Kirishima, and I knew I could count on you.

Kirishima: What about Sero?

Kaminari: He wouldn't take this as seriously as you do.

Kirishima: Mina?

Kaminari: I mean, she could help me yeah. But after saying she would help me with Jirou. Idk, I didn't want to disappoint her.

Kirishima: And Bakugo?

Kaminari:...

Kirishima:...

They both looked at each other in silence. Then Kirishima realized the content of his question.

Kirishima: Sorry...

Kaminari: Nevermind bro.

Kirishima: So, what are you going to do?

Kaminari: What do you mean? There is nothing I can do, but keep my distance and pretend nothing ever happened. I don't want to ruin my friendship with Jirou just because of my stupid feelings.

Kirishima: Don't be so harsh with yourself Kaminari. I think you might be overreacting a little. I mean, is just a song, you are looking too much into it in my opinion.- He said reaching his left arm over Kaminari's right shoulder, trying to comfort him from the desk chair he was sitting in.

Kaminari: You weren't there bro, I know when Jirou sings with passion. I know when she is telling the truth through music...She doesn't want to fall in love. There is nothing I can do.- Denki said lowering his face so Kirishima could not see him cry.

Kirishima:...I'm sorry bro. But I want you to know I still think you are wrong.- Eijiro said standing up.

Kaminari: Huh?- He looked up to see his friend.

Kirishima: I don't think this is the end of the line for you. You might not see it, but you might be closer than you think to be with her.

Kaminari: Kirishima...

The red-haired boy started walking to the door, ready to leave. Not before turning to see his friend one last time.

Kirishima: Just want you to know I believe in Jirou, and most importantly, I believe in you Kaminari. So please don't give up bro, I know you two are going to find true happiness with one another.- He said with his thumb up before leaving.

That left Kaminari thinking for a while. His negativity was at war with his best friend's words. Yes, Jirou's words said she rather had a heart attack before falling in love. But what she was trying to say was, that if she fell in love with him she would have a heart attack, because he was the only one capable of making her heart stop, that's how powerful her feelings are. If only he could see that everything was on his head the whole time...

[Jirou's room, Monday 7:15 a.m.]

* Knock* Knock* Knock*

Jirou: Come in.- She said while on her knee, tying her shoes. Those shiny new Purple air jordas she loved so much.

Yaoyorozu: Come on Jirou, we are gonna be late for the test.- The rave-haired girl said while opening the door of Kyoka's room.

Jirou: I know I know, shit.- She muttered standing up, ready to leave.

They both left her room and headed downstairs, almost everybody was already on their way to the academy. Class 2-A had an important written exam with Cementos in the first period. His tests weren't easy, to say the least. So it was important to be there on time.

Yaoyorozu: So...Did you do what I told you?- She said while they were already on their way to school.

Jirou: What?- She asked.

Yaoyorozu: About draining your feelings.

Jirou: Oh, yeah...kinda. I played some music in my room after we spoke.

Yaoyorozu: it seems you gave the idea of dating Kaminari some thought.- She said covering her mouth gently with her left hand, chuckling a bit.

Jirou: W-What do you mean???...- Jirou said blushing a little.

Yaoyorozu: You're not very good at hiding, so to speak. You took your time brushing your hair, you are wearing a little bit of makeup. Your lips are glossy, meaning you put on some transparent chapstick. And most importantly you are wearing the perfume I gave you on Christmas.

Jirou: And?

Yaoyorozu: It has been almost half a year and is the first time you are wearing it. Especially because it is a very elegant scent.

Jirou: Fuck Yaomomo, why do you always have to be right all the time?- She said crossing her arms and looking down, so her friend could not see her cheeks burning a bright red.

Yaoyorozu: But it's true, you want him to notice you, am I right? You should try flirting with him. Then you would see he feels the same way.

Jirou: I don't know Momo...

Yaoyorozu: At least try...

They arrived at their classroom. Kaminari was already sitting on his desk. But when Jirou passed through him, he immediately noticed the new smell of the girl. It was the first time she smelled like that, and that scent was nothing but hypnotizing. And that distracted him throughout the whole test, at least he didn't fail the exam but was about to.

The bell rang, and the whole class stood up to go to the cafeteria. Kaminari left with Kirishima and Sero, the tallest of the trio spoke.

Sero: Yo, did you guys notice one of the girls was wearing a pretty good perfume?

Kirishima: Yeah, it smells pretty good.

Sero: It wasn't Mina right?

Kirishima: Nah, I already know all of her perfumes, that wasn't one of hers.

Sero: Might be Yaoyorozu, the scent of the perfume sounds a lot like her, it was very elegant or something like that.

Kirishima: Might be, She is close to us so makes sense. Hagakure and Asui are quite far away to feel the smell of it.

Little do they know Kaminari knew exactly to whom belonged that exuberant aroma of roses with honey. But he didn't want to say anything, it was better if he stayed silent. While they were walking down the hallway, Reiko Yanagi appeared in front of them, walking in the opposite direction. The trio stopped because she looked like she was about to say something to Sero.

Reiko: Hello.- She said in her usual tone.

Sero: H-Hey b-baby...how' you doing?

Reiko: Fine...

Kirishima: Is it me or this is weird?- He said whispering to Kaminari without looking at him.

Kaminari: Fucking weird.- He answered back

Yanagi reached Sero's ears and her lips moved, it looked like she was whispering something in his ear. Then, like a wave of electricity ran through his body, at the same time a smirk appeared on his face. She took a step back and Sero looked at his fellow friends.

Sero: Sorry guys, I gotta go, I have plans. See ya later.

Kaminari: What the fuck dude.

Sero: Sorry, I would make it up to you, bye.- He said while walking away with Reiko.

Kaminari: Mina was right. He busts a nut in some girl and forgets about us.

Kirishima: Hahahahaha You damn right. Hey, there goes Midoriya, Todoroki, and Tokoyami, we might ask them to tag along during lunch.

Kaminari: Okay.

The duo joined the three other guys at lunch. They were talking about some special training during today's hero class.

Midoriya: I heard some in class 2-B it was another search and rescue type mission.

Todoroki: So it must be team team-based exercise.

Kaminari: Yeah but, how many?

Midoriya: I don't know, I didn't hear that part.

Tokoyami: I heard some teams must face a surprise attack from villains while they try to complete the mission.

Kirishima: That means they are going to use robots to simulate the villains.

Midoriya: And that means we need to be aware of the terrain, that could compromise the mission.

'Kaminari.exe stopped running

Kaminari: Shit, it sounds like ain't gonna be an easy one this time.

Todoroki: You are right.

Lunch was over, the whole class was heading back to their second period. Jirou looked at Kaminari from afar while he was at the classroom door, she yelled at him and approached him.

Jirou: Yooo Denks!!!- Kaminari turned his head, wondering who was calling him.

Kaminari: Oh...h-hey J...what's up.- He said a little flustered, scratching the back of his neck with his hand.

Jirou: Sorry I didn't say hello to you this morning, I was running late.

Kaminari: Don't worry...By the way...

Jirou: Huh?

Kaminari: Y-Your perfume...y-you smell pretty nice.- He said while blushing.

Jirou: Oh...T-thanks...

They both entered the classroom, their next class was biology. Mr. Ectoplasm didn't take long for him to arrive and start the class.

As always, Jirou was paying attention to class while Kaminari was, yet again, drawing on his notebook.

-He has been drawing like crazy for the last two weeks in every class, What the hell is he doing?- She wondered.

She smiled at him and took a look at his sketches. As she was looking at the drawings, She noticed that he drew a hero suit upgrade design that she made in the past for him, well... just a couple of suggestions. She suddenly turned red while blushing.

Jirou: W-wait a second, Kaminari... did you draw the design for the hero suit upgrade I told you about like a month ago? Not that I think it's bad, though. I think you might've made it look cooler now.

Kaminari: Heeeeeyyy Jirou, those things are top secret for now, I won't show them to you until they are ready, it's a surprise.- He said a little flustered, closing the notebook hard so she could not see his sketches too much.

Jirou: Top secret? I highly doubt it, Denki. Just admit it already, and please, I'm curious now, show me those sketches now!

Kaminari: I won't show them to you until they are ready, okay? I want to see your surprise.- He said a little nervous.

The thing is Kaminari spent the last 2 weeks drawing updates to his hero suit, and most of the upgrades were ideas that either Jirou told him about he could use, or things that Kaminari took inspiration from her. Either way, he was embarrassed to tell her about it, even though she already had an idea of it while she was peaking over.

Jirou: *chuckles*

Kaminari: What?

Jirou: Good thing you are good with creativity because intelligence is not given to you much.- She said while smirking at him.

Kaminari: You know, I'm something of an artist myself.- He said playfully.

Jirou: Wow wow wow, easy there Norman Osborn *chuckles* we don't want you to become the Green Goblin.

Kaminari: Come on Jirou. If I were a Spiderman villain, obviously I would be Electro.

Jirou: A toaster is more menacing than you pffftttt hahahahha.

Kaminari: *groans*

Then he heard Kirishima and Sero laughing in silence at the awkward interaction Jirou and Denki had, while they covered their mouths and tears coming down from their eyes in amusement. He yelled back at them

Kaminari: HEY YOU TWO, CUT THAT OUT DAMN IT- He said while they were still laughing at him.

Ectoplasm: Mr. Kaminari, please remain silent.

Jirou: Hehehe, poor Denki is getting teased by you two, huh?- She said to herself.

Kaminari: Tch...- He tried to look grumpy, but in reality to her, he looked kind of cute.

Jirou: Still, I think your drawings are good, It surprises me that music isn't the only good thing you are talented at.

Kaminari: And what about being a hero?

Jirou: What about it?- She asked, clearly with sarcasm in an attempt to make fun of him.

Kirishima and Sero started laughing in silence yet again.

Kaminari: SERIOUSLY WHAT'S WRONG WITH YOU TWO? CUT THAT SHIT OUT.- He yelled turning his head.

Ectoplasm: Seriously Mr Kaminari, this is your final warning. Remain in silence or you'll be sent to Principal Nezu's office.

Kaminari: Tch...I'm sorry.- He said with his arms crossed.

-"Mental note, taze the shit out of those two later"- Kaminari thought to himself, the duo would be the death of him.

Jirou could only look at him, she was laughing and having a great time. Maybe it wasn't that bad to be Kaminari's girlfriend after all. -"He looks so cute when he's angry"- Was what she was thinking at the moment.

The class was over and they all headed to Ground Beta for hero class. Aizawa gathered them in front of the training grounds. Huge crumbled buildings were all over the place, it looked like a huge earthquake destroyed the place. Their teacher soon spoke.

Aizawa: Alright class, I know you already heard about what today's training is about so I'm going to be quick with the details. This is another search and rescue mission. There are dummies scattered across the place, they are civilians so you need to rescue them. Each team will be tasked with rescuing 5 civilians in 10 minutes, and the teams will be of 4 members each. Also, be aware of the terrain and other threats.

Iida: What other threats Sensei???- The Class Rep said yelling and moving his arms in his characteristic robotic motion.

Aizawa: No questions. I'm going to announce the teams.

Team 1: Aoyama, Ojiro, Shoji and Mineta.

Team 2: Ashido, Yaoyorozu, Sato and Kouda.

Team 3: Midoriya, Asui, Uraraka and Iida

Team 4: Bakugo, Sero, Hagakure and Tokoyami.

Team 5: Kaminari, Kirishima, Todoroki and Jirou.

Aizawa: Alright, Team 1 be prepared. The rest wait your turn here and watch the matches.

So the whole class stood there watching their classmates perform while coming up with a strategy to pass the exercise with success.

Todoroki: Alright, I think Jirou should be the main protagonist for the rescuing part. Kirishima and I should help with the injured civilians and the rubble and Kaminari, you should keep watch for any other threat.

Kaminari, Kirishima, and Jirou: Roger.

Teams 1, 3 and 4 were successful in their mission. While Team 2 almost failed due to time, but barely made it out alive at the last second possible, so Mr. Aizawa decided to pass them. Now it was Team 5 turn.

They rushed to the many crumbled buildings, Jirou didn't waste any time and plugged her jack into one of the walls.

Jirou: The structure is unstable, but there is one civilian trapped in there, about 7 meters northeast.

Todoroki: I'm on it.- He said creating a huge ice wall to let the unstable building rest over it, so it could be safe to rescue the dummy.

Todoroki: Anything Kaminari?

Kaminari: Not yet. We are clear.

Kirishima: Good, let's continue.

They followed through with the assignment until only one civilian was left. Jirou rushed in front of one of the buildings when she sensed a huge vibration run through her that resembled a blast. Kaminari saw her reaction and in a matter of seconds, a huge robot appeared in front of her, blasting through the wall almost crushing her.

It was at this moment that Kaminari put to the test his new ability for the first time in public and for the first time in a serious situation. An electric aura enveloped the blonde's body. His legs moved almost at lightspeed, for him it was nothing, but for his classmates was almost like a flash that you could miss if you blinked. He rushed to Jirou grabbing her, bride style, and moved her out of the way of being crushed by the huge robot.

Jirou: W-wait...What the fuck was that?

Kaminari: My new move.- He said panting, it looks like that ability drains too much energy.

Kirishima: GUYS! ARE YOU OKAY?!!

Kaminari: Yeah... Let's take care of it.- He said yelling back at Kirishima from afar.

Kaminari: Jirou...

Jirou: Yeah...?- She said blushing

Kaminari: Go grab that civilian, we'll take care of it.

Jirou: Uh-huh. She said like she was paying no attention to what the blonde guy said. She was hypnotized by the deep glance of the boy's golden electric eyes. He looked so masculine and sexy when he acted all serious.

Todoroki: Kaminari, you think you could do that move of yours a second time?

Kaminari: I can but I would be almost drained, what do you have in mind?

Todoroki: Distract it with your speed, I'll use my ice to immobilize it and Kirishima will deal the finishing blow.

Kirishima: I like that plan.- He said punching his hands together in excitement.

The three of them put in motion the plan. Kaminari activated his new super move which he called "Thundergod: God speed Kaminari" Jumping like lightning around the giant robot. When it was distracted, Todoroki created a huge ice ramp that not only immobilized the robot but also helped Kirishima run to its head and deal a big blow that almost destroyed half of the machine. Meanwhile, Jirou rescued the last dummy.

*BAAAANG*- A horn sounded, signaling the end of the exercise.

Team 5, Pass.

The whole class greeted the four of them, all amazed by the new move Kaminari pulled off. Especially Deku, who was already taking notes while asking.

Midoriya: OMG Kaminari that was amazing, tell me how you do it? Do you use electricity to power your muscles? Or it's some kind of electric impulse? Do you need to charge up with electricity before you can use it????- He was really excited

Kaminari: Hehehe calm down Midoriya, I'll tell you more about it later, I promise.

Sero: Hey dude, that was really awesome. You have been hiding us that new move huh?

Bakugo: YOU, DUNCE FACE, EXPLAIN NOW!!!

Kaminari: I developed a new move called Thundergod.- He said a little nervous.

Bakugo: DA FUCK IS A THUNDERGOD?

Kirishima: Basically a god.

Bakugo: BUT IM STILL HERE!

Sero: Do you believe your own hype that much?

Bakugo: I AM THE HYPE!!!...

Kaminari: Hehehe.

Bakugo: Either way...- The ashy blonde said lowering his voice.

Kaminari: Huh?

Bakugo: Nice work, idiot.

Kaminari: Thanks bro.- He said while giving him a fist bump. A Bakugo's fist bump only appeared once every millenia so he took the chance.

While they were getting back to the classroom, Jirou could only think about what Kaminari did back there, saving her. She reached her hand over to her chest and felt the racing beat that resonated throughout her body.

In between classes, she saw him from afar, while he was talking to his friends. Her face was red, a silly smile adorned her face, her index finger playing with the right earlobe. She didn't know what he was talking about with Kirishima and Sero. Probably was about his new ability, but it didn't matter to her, she only could see a bright shine that came out of his handsome smile. She was head over toes for Kaminari, so much so that she didn't even bother to dissimulate. And Bakugo of all people took notice.

Bakugo: You got a thing for drooly, don't you?

Jirou: W-WAIT WHAT?!!! I DO- I DO NOT!!!- She turned her face towards Bakugo yelling at him, while her face was full red.

Bakugo: Sure...

Jirou: I DON'T...

Bakugo: Hmmm...- He didn't even take his sight away from his phone

[Common area, Class 2-A dorms, 4:23 p.m.]

Jirou:...

Bakugo:...

Jirou: ALRIGHT MAYBE I DO...- She said burying her flustered face in her hands, feeling she was defeated.

Bakugo: Congrats on your self-awareness ears.- He said sarcastically while browsing through the Tv, to see if it was something more interesting to see.

Jirou: I really don't wanna hear that from you.

Jirou: So now what?...- She said as she shrugged, sinking into the couch out of embarrassment.

Bakugo: Why the fuck are you asking me?- He said like she was playing with him.

Jirou: Aren't you gonna tell him?

Bakugo: Why? You are the one who wants to fuck him, not me. It's your fucking job to let Pikachu know you like him, it's not my fricking business...
